Hi everyone, I'm Tika, 28. I'm a teacher. I'm looking for a room from July 3rd to September 25th. I'm tidy, clean, fun, easy going, sociable, and quiet person. I'm happy doing house chores together. I highly respect people privacy and space. But I'm always up for a chat and make friends. I like to go out every now and then for grabbing a drink, socializing, and dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba). I keep myself fit and healthy. I'm looking for an accommodation near train stations which have Glen Waverley line, as I don't drive. But I don't mind to combine transportation (Tram and train, no buses). Furnished and private room is a must. I'd like to live in quiet house. As I'm not a mind reader, I'd like to have housemates who would be able to open to talk if they have issues with me. I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
A beautiful garden setting interior spaces and stunning northern orientation this double brick 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom home, featuring a traditional lounge and dining rooms, kitchen/meals area, gas heater and single garage. Perfectly located a walk to Gardiner's Creek walking and bike trails, Glen Iris shopping strip, Ashburton Station and Shopping Village. It is close to both Glen Waverly Line (Holmesglen station) and Alamein Line (Ashburton station). It is very near to Deakin University and Holmesglen TAFE. It is available now. We prefer the person that can join our one-year long lease. The room is furnished with a double bed, a desk and a cabinet. The size is around 11 square meter. But if you wanna do short-term, we can negotiate. We are looking for a single person (we are not a couple so we prefer no couple as well) who is interesting, can clean the dish when it is finished, and share a glass of wine and willing to talk and hangout together sometimes but definitely not a party animal. We respect your privacy and expect the same from you. It is definitely a home rather than a house :)
Hey, I am Nora and I am originally from Europe. I moved to Melbourne two years ago, doing a PhD at Monash University where I spend the normal office hours. In the evening and on weekends I like hanging out at home with my flatmates, going for a beer with friends or being active (handball, swimming and other outdoor stuff). In the house I like to be social (sometimes more, sometimes less) but also respect everyone's privacy. Ideally the room/house I am looking for comes with 2+ awesome flatmates, has wooden floorboards, is close to public transport etc.. :)
Hey everyone, I'm a 24 year old female looking for a long/short term house, that I can make my home, not just a crash pad. I have just finished off studying my Diploma of Early childhood education, and I work as a nanny, so I’m ready to move out of the nest! I enjoy getting outside, camping, hiking, as well as sitting inside with a cuppa and a good book. My favourite time of day is brunch :) I love photography, and I’m just about to start a short course in photography. I spend a few nights of the week playing basketball, and love going to see live music, as well as catching up with friends for dinner/drinks (I'm not a party animal on that regard, and not looking for a party house). More looking for a house where I feel safe, comfortable and I can be myself. I like to keep tidy, and will put in effort to clean the house. I’m absolutely down for regular house meals, and definitely keen for lots of house fun like dinner parties, chill drinks and movie nights.
Really lovely room available in a huge, recently renovated house in Glen Iris (near the Camberwell border). The house is very spacious and light, with a large living and dining room, big kitchen, sunroom and separate laundry, as well as a garden. The kitchen is incredible -- the oven is huge and the gas stove is great for cooking with. There's also a dishwasher and lots of storage space. The living and dining room area, and the bedrooms, all feature polished floorboards. The house has central heating and cooling, too. The backyard has a new deck, BBQ and outdoor setting. The house is fully furnished but the bedroom comes unfurnished. The bedroom is a decent size and can easily fit a queen bed, as well as other furniture. It has a big window that lets in lots of light but is still private. It also has built-in robes that offer lots of space. You'll only be sharing the bathroom with Chris, as the other two housemates have an ensuite. The house is located right on the 72 tram line, which stops right outside our door. It's also a convenient 7-minute walk to Gardiner train station, where you can catch the Glen Waverley line into the city -- the journey only takes about 25 minutes. Camberwell Junction is a short 25-minute walk or 10-minute tram ride away and has all the supermarkets and shops you'd ever need.
Hi :-) Looking for a private room in Mt Waverley, Glen Iris, Ashburton, surrounding suburbs. I study full time at Deakin and also work 3-4 days per week in real estate in Glen Waverley. Would prefer to share with 1-2 others. Experience in house sharing and I generally keep to myself as work and study keep me on my toes. If I do have a free weekend or long weekend I generally spend them in Bendigo with my family. I’m a neat and tidy person who is respectful of others belongings. I love to keep a clean home but also understand how busy life is and make allowances for that. Also looking for off street parking where possible. Would love to chat if you think I would be a suitable housemate :) Cheers Tyler
Hi - thanks for coming by. My names Mike and I'm 24 years old. Born in Germany, raised in Perth, living in Melbourne. I work full time in the digital marketing space and am looking to move out of my current accommodation and hopefully join some of you lovely folk in and around Notting Hill (workplace). I'm active, healthy, semi-outgoing, and not a party animal (got most of that out of my system in my late teens). I like to cook, read, explore with my bike, and work on my personal projects. Cheers, Mike
A lovely furnished room with a brand new double bed, large full mirrored built in robe, lots of natural light and ducted gas heating for your comfort. There is a modern shared bathroom (including toilet) and an additional toilet and wash basin separate to the bathroom. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine :) The meals and living area is open plan. We have a big beautiful back yard with a washing line. Ashburton train station is a 15 minute walk. The house is close to Deakin University, Holmesglen Institute and Chadstone Shopping Centre. Rent amount includes utility bills. Fast internet is available at extra cost. The house is in a quiet street so you won't hear any traffic noise. Pets are welcome. I have a very friendly miniature dachshund.
I'm a full-time student studying fine art. Very easy to get along with, chill, tidy. I like to cook and will always clean up after myself in the kitchen. Love to socialize but also can spend a bit of time in my room drawing and spending time with my cat. My cat is named Howard he is a year old and very sociable and affectionate! I like reading, making zines, listening to music (headphones usually :p) and roller skating among other things. Vegetarian and a feminist (trans inclusive and anti racist)
I'm a 20 year old bubbly fun female, I'm moving from Byron Bay and about to start a new full time job in Camberwell, I'm always up for a good time but am also happy to just stay home and chill out with a glass of wine and chat. I play basketball and netball and like to go exploring and going to gigs. You'll probably just see me at home listening to music and reading a book or watching a movie on Netflix. But being in an entirely new state I'll probably be out exploring the city and trying to make new friends :)
Im a mature guy, who is just out of a long term relationship, and require immediate accommodation. Am self employed and tend to work from home mostly, but main business activity in CBD. Keen to be close to Public transport. I could extend stay, depending on my medium term requirements, and subject to your preferences. Non Smoker, and extremely clean .... Love cooking and wine.
A light-filled, spacious house to call home! Situated in one of Melbourne's safest suburbs, Glen Iris, on the verge of Camberwell. The house contains 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two lounge rooms leading onto a great outside entertainment area with a BBQ, wall mounted television and soundbar. The entertainment area is North facing so it get plenty of sunlight and it is covered for those rainy days! The rooms on offer share a bathroom with a shower and bath, separate toilet and sink. Both rooms also have plenty of hanging space in their built-in wardrobes. There are two fantastic cafes (Babasus/Goldenchild) that are within 5 minutes walking distance, right next to Burwood station. As well as having a train station nearby that is on the Alamein line, there is also the 75 tram at the end of our street that goes into the city and towards Deakin University (10min) if you are studying. Supermarket (LEOS) is also within walking distance, about 5min give or take. Also surrounding us are plenty of takeaway and restaurants. The room for rent does not include desk and chair* This is just a picture to acknowledge the space of the room. Room has built in wardrobes with mirrors, shared bathroom/shower and toilet.

Hi, I’m Gita :) My friend Kyle and I are starting up a new house and looking for a 3rd person (male) to join us. We’ve begun looking and applying for houses mostly around the Mount Waverley area. Hit me up if you’re keen! I work full time in disability, empowering young adults to find meaningful roles in communities. I’m often in and out of the house, and quite independent, but I do enjoy having a cuppa and a chat, or a Netflix sesh. I’m into clean eating and I love to cook, often creating healthy yummy treats to share with others, but I do most of my own batch meal prep on a weekly basis. I like to keep active, at the gym 4-5 days a week, and other activities outdoors. My beautiful 10yo tabby cat, Domino, is a treat to live with.
Need more pasta in your life? Look no further. If you haven't guessed it from the headline, I am Italian. Been living in Victoria for the past 6 years (and still counting). I am a full-time revenue analyst that works in the hotel industry ( I am the annoying person that keeps increasing or decreasing your hotel accommodation prices >:-] ). Looking for accommodation within Melbourne after a few years in the dazzling Daylesford in country Victoria. I am passionate about.. well quite a few things actually, photography, cooking and traveling probably stand out. I enjoy the occasional glass of vino (even more if over sharing a meal) and discussing which Netflix series I should watch next.
Please note that the room is only available for rent until 15th of October 2018. 5 minutes walk to trams 6 and 72. 10 minutes walk to trains, (gardiner station). Gyms and supermarket close by. Easy access to Monash freeway. Quiet neighbourhood with plenty of free on street parking. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The share of monthly bills is approximately $140 which includes, Gas, Electricity, internet
We're 3 brothers looking for a place to rent. We are 2 professional engineers and 1 student at Monash. We are very respectful, open-minded and easy going :). Were looking for 2-3 rooms & we prefer that the place is near a public transport line that leads to Monash University in Clayton.
Hiya! This is Neha from India! I will be joining Deakin University this July to pursue my Masters in Business Administration and would be coming to Melbourne during the last week of June. Traveling and photography are few of the things that interests me. I play basketball and in my free time I watch various movies and TV series. I am sociable, very tidy and respect everyone's need for privacy. Looking forward to a warm stay! :)
I'm an Adelaidian philosophy student, I'm moving for study at Deakin. My move date is early July. I have a cat here in Adelaide, Mademoiselle Violet, she may or may not deign to move to your fair city. I'm so far a non-smoker, and generally tidy. I love buying flowers even when I can't afford them. I can cook. One of my favourite things to do is watch films, anther is maybe to drink a little red wine and another might be having a nap in the garden (if you have one). I really want to find a place ((soon)) so I can stop stressing and focus on exams...
Hi im Gemma! Im finishing up my Business degree at Monash Caulfield this year, also working at a start up in Richmond working a few shifts from home on my computer. I have been living out of home for 3 years so pretty much know the drill. I appreciate time to myself but also love hanging out having a drink or two and going out most weekends. My favourite day of the week is meal prep day- i love cooking and consider myself to be a pretty organised person. I also play hockey in my free time and in the off season will be hitting up the gym or going for runs. Looking to live somewhere with like-minded people, preferably around a similar age who are clean, friendly and all that kinda stuff. If you have any questions shoot me a message, thanks!
I work full time and spend my free time playing hockey, swimming, hanging out with my friends and seeing films and getting out and about. I have a three year old welsh corgi, who likes to sleep inside but is happy in a secure yard snoozing during the day whilst I am work.
