Hello potential future flat-mate[s], my name's Aavon, initially from Sri Lanka and I moved to Australia a little over three months ago. Prior to that I've spent the past five years in Dubai working for the Volvo Car Company. I'm now a qualified technician and operations coordinator working in Glen Huntley. My cousins have accommodated me so far but I'm looking for the right place and people to start anew. I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, animals, rock climbing, music, impromptu dancing, reading and living in the moment. I'm neat, can cook, looking to make friends and am looking forward to something new. Cheers!
Hello everyone! I am currently looking for a clean and responsible person to move into one of the bedrooms of my two-bedroom apartment in Glen Iris. Moving date is 25 February 2017. I am particular with the cleanliness of the apartment. As long as we keep it clean then it's all good. Any gender. As long as you are organised and clean. The room is 793 per month. It does not include wi-fi internet and utilities (electricity and gas, no charge for water). Wi-Fi Internet is around 40 dollars each. In terms of electricity bill, if it's not winter, 30 dollars per month each. Gas is around 20 dollars each per month. There is a bond of 800 dollars. The room is unfurnished. It is big enough for a double bed. It has a built-in wardrobe. The apartment is on the second floor. The unit is furnished. You only need to buy furniture for your room such as a bed, side table, lamp, and so forth. The apartment is in a great location. It is 10 minutes away via tram to Camberwell. It is 20 minutes away via tram to South Yarra. There are some cafes within the area. Glen Iris is a lovely suburb. In terms of public transport, it is 5 minutes away to Gardiner Station. The apartment is just across a tram stop (Stop 50, Tram 72). I study/work at Monash and it takes me 20 minutes for me to get to uni: 10 minutes tram and 10 minutes train (Toorak Station). Going to the city via train takes 20 minutes. You will be sharing the apartment with me. I often have mid-week dinner with my partner in the apartment. He sometimes stays with me during weekends. But in some weekends, I don't stay in the apartment as I stay in my partner's place. I work as an academic at Monash University Caulfield. This is the reason why I have so many books. I would like someone who respects privacy. Someone who enjoys music, movies, and cooking too! I prefer someone who can keep the apartment clean. Also, someone who pays bill on time. It would be better as well to have someone whom I can interact with. To forge a friendship is great. Message me if you are interested.

I am looking for a place around Malvern where I work as I do not have a car. My rent runs out soon and I am currently living by myself after my partner moved overseas. I am looking for a place that may be short or long term as I am not sure of what this year will bring. I love keeping fit and healthy, watching netflix, going outdoors, having a laugh, eating food etc. I am not a big drinker. I cook good food though!
Hi i'm Rachel, I'm clean and tidy and pay my bills on time. I'm fun and ambitious.. But also quiet (if its possible to be both) Disney movies are the best and I can't live without coffee. I enjoy a good night out as well as quiet nights in.. :) would love to find a place that I could bring my dog Sampson (he's a maltease shitzu x staff.. only staffy trait he's got is being a sook) but to be honest I just need out of the place I'm in at the moment, so can leave him with my parents where he currently is) Ask me anything but give me a chance?
Hi! My name is Josh, I am 23 and currently seeking a place to live in Melbourne. At this moment I live in Perth working full time as a wholesaler and an opportunity to work in Melbourne has presented itself. I completed an apprenticeship in locksmithing back in 2015 but the industry did not suit or appeal to me afterwards so I changed Jobs to a local supplier. I am interested in CGI, Music, video games, pretty much anything related to computers and technology and I am also a current student at SAE Online, studying a Diploma of Screen & Media 3D animation. I can keep to myself if you would prefer or if you are the social type I would like to be apart of that I am happy to join events and outings and would really like to meet new people! I do like to keep things clean and tidy as well of course! The only things I would need is somewhere to park my car and an internet connection (For my online course). I will be driving from Perth to Melbourne on the 17th of February and should arrive around 21st to 22nd. Thanks for having a read! Josh
I'm an open minded, very out going, bit of a party loving, enjoys music sort of person. Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar mindset people.

Large room (13 sqm) in a lovely clean house, top floor and sunny, located at Glen Iris (walking distance to Gardiner train station). The house is in such a great position, close to city and chapel street. and both the 72 Tram (50 meters ) and the Gardiner train station(150 meters and 20 min direct train to Melb central). The Tooronga coles shopping centre, high street, and Malvern rd restaurants are within easy walking distance. The post office is close to home. Also, Swinburne University is located 20 minutes away from the house. It's a 2 bedroom unit that has a spacious sunny living room, separate eat-in kitchen with gas cooking, bathroom with a shower/bath, laundry, and nice shared courtyard and big balcony which is proper for BBQ! The house has gas heating which so economic. Also, the house has large glass windows that add to its charm.. It's a warm and comfortable home that is pretty well fully furnished, but I'm sure there is space for your favourite things. Large bedroom on offer has floorboards, built-in wardrobes, beautiful large glass window with wooden blinds, large study desk and comfortable chair, queen size bed and is furnished as the attached picture. You would be living with one student studying full time at CBD. 28 years old and male. A bit about myself: I consider myself easy going, friendly, considerate and clean and tidy in the shared areas, which I am looking for: an amazing housemate, a social person, who is not a stranger in the house, quiet, considerate and clean. Sorry, no pet and no couples. Thanks for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Please text or email me. Then we can have a quick chat.
Hey funky souls! My friend James and I are both students, originally from South Gippsland, looking for accommodation around the areas listed. We love having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. James is an all-round top bloke who loves his baseball and doesn't mind downing a beer or two. He's also into his gaming, dank memes and telling you everything he did wrong last year. We are looking for at least 2 bedrooms to rent out (but we are open to going our own ways if we find a mint place), and our max budget each being $180 including bills (poor student life 😅) so I hope one of you lovely souls out there has a place available! We are very respective, clean, and tidy people who would love to live together with maybe a few others whilst we complete our degrees :) Don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx P.S we're not a couple, just life-long friendios.
Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere in or around Melbourne with great connections to the city (preferably close to trains) since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 300 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. There is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 22 from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
Hi there, I'm currently working full time in Hawthorn and am looking to move closer to work than from where I currently reside (in Narre Warren). I am very easy going and love to interact with new people and share in new experiences. I am a passionate landscape and nature photographer and as such I always try to be out and about and traveling to places with my camera.
I am 25 years old, have just moved back to Australia after living in France for a little while, and am looking for a quiet home where I can relax after work and study. I am warm, mature, close to my family, enjoy exercise, like to study (and watch trashy tv with a glass of red wine on occasion). I am clean and tidy, and love to cook.
I'm easy to get along with. I'm outgoing, friendly , polite, respectful and considerate. They're no big deal because that should be your minimum requirement of me. I work full time at The Department of Transport. My passion is theatre and have been an actor for 40+ years so my free time is usually taken up with this. I like people and being around them, but I'm also respectful of their privacy and the need to give space when required. I'm originally from UK but have lived here for 26 years. I've recently separated from my partner, hence my search.
I am a very happy and pretty energetic girl who loves a good coffee. I love to have fun and plenty of sleepovers with the girls. I am a Christian and would love to have chats with the people I'm living with, encouraging each other in our faith. I'd love to become great friends and go on trips together to nearby markets or cafes
Hi, I'm Laurie, a 23 French girl working full time in marketing. My partner (22, australian) and I are looking for a place to stay at least the next 3 months. We're both easy going, enjoying life, we love travelling and living an healthy lifestyle.
I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide to work full-time as a Visual Merchandiser at Chadstone. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would love to make some new friends. I am naturally pretty quiet and will be working Monday to Friday. I'm nice and easy going. I enjoy being tidy and mostly organised at home. I respect others property, belongings and privacy. Looking to live with others similar ☺ For fun I like to catch up with friends, eat delicious foods, try new things, exercise. I'll probably fly back to Adelaide on some weekends. I'd also like if I can have my partner or a friend from Adelaide stay with me in my room for the weekend once in a while, wouldn't be disruptive. My maximum is $200 a week including bills (roughly). I'm hoping to spend less. Plan to extend after three months will commit to 6 months to secure thet right place. Move in date would be Saturday the 21st.
I'm an easy going guy with a wealth of interests such as art, music, exercise, camping, hiking, animals, food, drink, parties, travelling etc. I start studying carpenty end of Jan and I work quite a lot. I'd love to find a place in a shared house with people who click nicely.
I'm an easy going girl who left her home country Germany to explore the beautiful Australia (which I was also born in) and to meet lots of great people from all over the world! I'm working (soon full time) in Windsor so probably won't be in the apartment 24/7. I like to spend my free time with friends (new or old) and have a passion for hiking. I love to be active and am always up for a new adventure! But apart from that, I am also one of the girls you can just hang with, watch movies, get take-away or go out for drinks. To sum it up I am really easy to live with. I'm tidy and fair, so I appreciate the 4 walls I live in and respect the people I live with!
Student returning to study after a year off working and travelling. Bubbly, outgoing girl that loves to have a few drinks and socialise on weekends but a little quieter during the week. Clean & independent. Would like to find some great friendly housemates rather than just people to co-exist with. A good house environment is more important to me than the aesthetics of a place! Currently working as an Operations Assistant in my hometown, let me know when a good time to check out your place is and say hi.
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Helsinki, Finland. I'm currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and would like find a nice share house located somewhere between the city and my work. I'm responsible, open-minded and an easy-going guy. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I have plenty of share house experience from around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy and a reasonable amount of cleanliness around the house. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!

Hey guys, I have been living in Darwin for the past couple of years, however, university has brought me to Melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin with 2 years left on my degree. I'm 27 years old and have lived out of home in shared houses a number of times and for a number of years. I have lived in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Barcelona and Darwin. I am currently employed at Sportsbet (darwin office) and working through my transfer to the Melbourne Centre. My interests are in sport, healthy living, business, reading and being social. I like to live in a positive, clean, friendly environment. Love to be social and have a few quiet drinks now and again, however, I'm definitely not a party animal lol. Like to also have some down time and space for myself where I can focus on my studies and the things I need to do. Fun, friendly, positive guy who is very keen on checking out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer :)
Looking for a place around Camberwell to move into mid to end of February whilst I study at Deakin, Burwood campus. I'm pretty quirky, fun and sociable :) at the same time, I like my alone time and quiet. My only taboo is liking common areas to be clean and wanting respectful and effective communication between housemates. :) I'm open to team ups as well as established houses/flats, looking for a friendly down to earth bunch of people (2-4) with a good sense of humour. Currently living in Sydney, I'm hoping to move to Melbourne in time for trimester 1 at Deakin university. I'm 23, studying psychology and a qualified yoga teacher. I love nature, bushwalking, dancing and always try new things and hoping to find like minded people :)
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.
I am 21 and have recently moved to Melbourne, I'm looking to move out of where I am living now. I currently work in traffic control and at a bar. I'm friendly and clean, like to socialise and make friends but also relax and binge watch tv series.
Hi potential new housemates, I'm Ben. I'm studying science at Melb Uni part time and work in Richmond. Proficient at putting the toilet seat down, opening tight lids on jars, reaching things on tall shelves and I occasionally bring home chocolate. I'm looking for a share house to live for the next 9 months or so that's not too far from work, I'm pretty flexible with dates and locations. I'd love to live with housemates that are sociable that I can have a beer with after work and wont get too annoyed if I come home late and make a bit of noise on the odd occasion. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit into your house!
Hey there! My name is Sham, I'm 22 years old and from Adelaide. I've been accepted to study at Monash University in 2017 and so I'm making the move over to Melbourne! I consider myself a people person and love to spend time with others, a lot of my spare time is spent over good food and drinks with my family and friends. I'm easy to get along with and am very trustworthy and reliable. I'd love to move in with flatmates who enjoy hanging out while also respecting each other's personal space. I'd be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about myself so feel free to get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Doing my Honours in Biomedical Science near the Alfred Hospital and so would ideally like to move nearby. I am vegan, but respect everyone's decisions when it comes to food as long as mine is also respected. I really enjoy wine and staying at home cooking, watching netflix and just generally chilling. I work on weekends and so will likely not be at home very often and will be working full time hours during the week for honours. Feel free to contact me if you have any properties available! Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
I am Sarah, I am easy going and relaxed. I work full time, and try to drag myself to the gym after work. I love to laugh but I am not the kind of person to be up in your face. I am not a lounge lizard and am not looking to retire in your place lol. Just finding my feet after moving back to Melb from Geelong - as I work in Kew. I promise I am a normal person (whatever normal is these days). I do have a cat - but he has an outdoor cat enclosure so he does not roam, and he would sleep in my bed - so you would not have to deal with him. His name is Mate. I could leave him at my parents in Geelong - but I would rather not. Ohh and I like a drink, and tunes - but I am not a crazy party girl! *****Please note - I would like to have my own bathroom. Thank you
I'd like to move into a period home with charm and space and a back yard. Ideally I'd like to team up and find a 4brm home with 2 bathrooms - one for you and one for us. We are a non footy, non commercial tv and radio, lefty/green, atheist household, looking for same. I'm an easy going person. I love to cook. I like my own company but enjoy sharing meals, wine, and a movie. My kids are with me week on / week off and I work full time. When the kids are with their dad I often spend weekends with my partner at his home in north Central Victoria. My son is 14, loves drawing Manga, reading fantasy fiction and playing video games. My daughter is 11, plays acoustic guitar, sings, and is into science, writing and pandas. My partner, Bruce, tends to visit every other weekend with his gorgeous friendly and clever dog. He works full time in horticulture and supports his dad on the farm. I have furniture for a full house, including a relatively new fridge and excellent washing machine. I sing, kayak, and hope to set up my 3m above ground pool to share in my new home. It isn't huge but it is refreshing.
Hi I'm Dom Working full time as a warehouse manager and am looking for a new place to stay near the city. I enjoy playing pretty much any sport and am working on getting my lanky body into shape. I've been living in share accommodation for the past 10 years so I'm very familiar with respecting my housemates, being clean and just generally contributing to a positive atmosphere. On a day off I'm usually out socialising with friends, playing sport or just watching series/documentaries at home. I also competitively play dodgeball twice a week. Other facts about me : If you have a dog expect me to pat it incessantly, grew up in France, Disney/Pixar are my go to movies. Anything else you'd like to know please do ask!
