My hobbies mostly revolve around seeing friends, getting outside but also creativity and entertainment media - I love the world of movies, games, anime, museums and galleries, and I never stop making my own things in my spare time! (Always happy to try new things though!) I often keep to myself, so I'm okay with a less sociable household- but I would love to live with some folks who I can occasionally hang out with- having friends as hosuemates makes for a great, cosy vibe! (Game/movie nights are fantastic - I'd love to FINALLLY start using my board game collection. 😭) That said, if you just need a housemate to simply coexist with peacefully (this economy, right?) that's fine too. Just finished studying business at Monash and I've started working as a business analyst at a supply chain consultancy. Looking for Long Term accommodation, with a close-knit housemate unit as I'm looking for a home and not just a share-house. So happy to team-up and find places as well if the vibes match! Essential Criteria - Place needs to be PTV accessible - As a Queer Person-of-Colour I'm looking for a safe space to be my authentic self at home so I'd want housemates who are progressive and inclusive. Very sociable, but I'm probably an ambivert at best so i do find my social battery running out at odd times. So while i do like going out, i don't really party/rave at all. I wont have too many people coming home, but i might occasionally bring a friend or two or a date. Prefer having my personal space at times to recharge, especially if I'm coming home from a long day at work. But always happy to have a chat,chill dinner/movie session with housemates. Love long walks from my couch to the fridge :) but also open to actual walks, exploring the city, and doing new things together if you wanna do housematey things together. My personality as a housemate is perhaps best described as a bit of a mama-hen, so I'm always happy to lend an ear or a hand if you need help. I don't smoke/do drugs and i really only drink in social settings. Although I Am prolly addicted to too many sweet treats if that counts. Non-vegetarian but love plant-based foods. I'm also an Amateur cook (started cooking when the pandemic rolled in and its been amazing). At the risk of being stereotyped, I can make a mean Butter chicken haha but love Italian, Thai, and all kinds of Asian food tbh. Food is honestly an essential part of my life and if you're someone who wants a buddy to explore different cuisines and places to eat, I'm your man. Definitely pet friendly. Love both cats and dogs. But if coming with pets, pets need to be well-trained and accustomed to share-house arrangements. I have prior share house experience for the last 2.5 years and am very comfortable with house-sharing living arrangements. As long as we're all respectful of each other's boundaries I don't mind differing lifestyles. Im generally tidy, and make sure to clean up after myself.
