This property is located near the city, in the suburb of Campbell. Only 25mins walking to Canberra civic. The whole apartment is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 carpark. The contract will be transferred to you, so you will pay the rent to the agent. The water bill is covered by the landlord and you have to pay the electricity bill only.
I have recently finished my bachelor of criminology & psychology at ANU. Currently working in retail, I am actively looking for a full time job! I would love to join a social house where we can have dinners together, go out to bars/cafes together and chill nights in (love a board game or two). I also enjoy a good book and drink too much coffee. Im also looking to find a ceramics class in the new year.... I also have a cat, Thor, who I would love to bring with me. He is super chill and super fluffy and gets along with people and other pets. He is indoors only, and has been no trouble in my current sharehouse situation. Ideally I am looking for a house that will welcome him as much as me.
Large older style 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in one of Canberra's most popular suburbs. Close to the City (<3kms) and local shops (400m) and walking distance to Lake Burley Griffin and Mount Ainslie. Separate Dining and Lounge area. Gas cooking and central heating and cooling. Elevated block with views across Campbell. Double Garage. FYI: I will only be filling two other rooms, so you will only be sharing a bathroom with one other person. The 4th bedroom will be left empty. As you can see by the images, the carpet and bathrooms are original - who doesn't love a bit of 70's styling? Kitchen has been updated and includes a gas stove, oven and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with the en-suite is absolutely massive. It could fit a King size bed and side tables very easily.
Hello, my name is Maria. I’m an international student starting the semester at ANU this coming January of 2020. I am easy going and friendly. I like to keep my space orderly and clean so you’ll never worry of a mess! One of my biggest hobbies I enjoy is practicing my passion for music or otherwise spending time with people I am closest to. Joining me is my boyfriend, Mason. Coming from NSW he will be doing any house inspections before i arrive. He is a kind friendly gent. He doesn’t bother anyone and in his spare time mostly likes to catch up on a good show or movie.
Hi! My names Jarrod and i'm 18 years old and relocating to Canberra to take up a Permanent Full-time job at the Department of Treasury as an Analyst in the International Policy and Engagement Division. I'm a pretty relaxed dude, i'm organised, clean, tidy and don't smoke! I'm looking to move down from Queensland sometime between the 20th-25th of January.
I am an undergraduate student, currently working in a hotel for my Industry Placement. I am from Vietnam. Because I am studying hospitality so I am extrovert, friendly and easy-going.
Hey! I'm Krystal and I'll be moving to Canberra for full-time work. I'm a super easy-going, flexible and friendly person looking for a homey place to live. I love cooking, hiking, drinking copious amounts of tea, eating (laksa, dumplings!) and travelling (a lot). I'd love to join a friendly and social sharehouse who are all for boardgames/movie/dinner nights. I also have many ideas for a veggie patch/herb garden! Please note: I’m not looking to move until 1st Feb.
I've recently quit my job to go back to uni full time and am doing two postgrad courses. I'm from Victoria but studying at ANU and will be driving back and forth a lot. I won't be in Canberra for at least 13 weeks of the uni year due to rural placements. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that is within 10mins bike ride of ANU or Questacon. I'll be needing a room from early Feb till approx. Nov but am super flexible. I'd prefer furnished if possible. I would be happy for you to AirBnB my room out while I am not around. Also flexible on price but would prefer to spend less than $200 pw (student life 😔) I love science and learning. I also like hiking and dogs. I also like cooking and bad puns. I love travel and have a few trips booked in next year (somehow have to squeeze them in amongst the study!) I don't mind the occasional social drink but not looking for a house full of party animals. I don't smoke and I am very clean. I like to think I'm easy to get along with, and don't mind watching a movie etc with housemates but I'm not expecting to be your best friend. I previously lived in a 4 bedroom house with 5 other people and a 3 bedroom house with 1 other person, and would prefer less housemates if possible. I will be spending a lot of time studying so will need internet access if possible. My boyfriend would be visiting on occasional weekends but wouldn't be staying long term. I've previously had success with flatmates.com.au so hoping to find somewhere again! Any questions, please ask away!
Hi! I'm from Sydney moving to Canberra in February 2020 to undertake an APS graduate position. Ideally, I'm looking for one other professional or student to team up and find a 2 bedroom apartment that is close to public transport. I'm open-minded and social as needed. I think I would enjoy hanging out with someone in the evenings or weekends as I'm leaving all friends in Sydney and starting from scratch in a new city! I enjoy games of all sorts, especially those that can be competitive. I'm big on communication so that we can live comfortably in a place with shared up-keep! More than happy to have a chat about anything and be friends rather than just housemates. It would be great if there are any others who will be starting graduate positions next year. Feel free to message me and thanks for reading :)
I'm Dermot, relocating to Canberra for 6 months of work potentially longer. I'm looking for a place close to the city on the north side of Canberra or reasonably close. I'm clean and considerate of others personal space and belongings. I'm a keen cyclist and looking forward exploring Canberra in my time there.
Hi! I’m Brianna (Bree) I am looking to find a place in the inner-northern suburbs. I am relocating to Canberra from Perth to start a graduate role in the APS in February. I’ve been a beauty therapist for the past 8 years - so very aware of keeping spaces tidy and clean. I love both cats and dogs - I will be leaving mine home (two cats and one dog) as at this point my position is for one year. I’m from a big family and love being around others, however I love my down time and chilling around the house. I’d love to move in with someone who is keen for chats here and there and hopefully build a friendship. Looking to move with one or two people - prefer females - and my own bathroom. I’m clean and respectful would love someone the same :)
Hi! I'm Tuva, currently working part time as a techincal support engineer and studying full time at UC (Marketing Communications). I'm looking to move out at the end of December or early January, and would prefer to be able to stay for around ~6 months at this time.
