I'll be moving from Brisbane to Canberra for a government job, and I'd love to be in a sharehouse with people who are happy to spend time together and also appreciate individual down time when life calls for it. I love music and I love exploring the streets of the city I live in. I also enjoy time outdoors with nature. One of my favourite things to do is hearing people's stories - I love learning about an individual's culture and values so I'm all ears! I'm looking to find a place by December and hopefully move in January but I'm flexible.
Hey everyone! Looking for a housemate to join this lovely house in Campbell from 12th November to Early/Mid-Jan (Dates are super flexible). It's a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and you'll be living with 3 uni students and one APS worker! Everyone's pretty social and very chill. You've got the big room just off the living room with a nice view of Mt. Ainslee (also can pick lemons from the tree if needed). Rent is $190/week (with utilities included). The house is just a couple minutes walk from shops/cafes. The room comes fully furnished (bed, desk, couch etc).
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Hey, I'm Josh! Looking for a room in a share-house in Canberra for next year when I start a graduate position with a APS agency. I think I'm pretty laid-back, love getting outdoors and hiking etc. I'm looking forward to heading down to Canberra and getting settled into my new home. Don't mind a beer or two - but nothing too crazy! And don't worry, I agree, the Raiders were robbed!
Hi, I'm Peter and I work full time as a professional and studying part-time. I am originally from Adelaide and have been living and working in Canberra for three years. I'm very easy going, social, clean, tidy, reliable, and respectful of other people's space and time. Hoping to find a nice place with some like minded people.
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
I'm a full time professional looking for a tidy share with friendly housemate(s), preferably a master/large bedroom. I drive, gym, cook, read, movie nights, socialize etc. I'm considerate to live with and easy going. I have a bed, desk etc to bring, Happy to share a meal and drink or chat.
I'm a Canberra born and bred public servant, love to go out and try new bars/restaurants but also enjoy relaxing at home and catching up on my Netflix shows. Happy to share my account with prospective housemates!
Hey I'm Codie, really bad at introducing myself, but here goes. I'm a 27 year old working at the Department of Agriculture. I love my job and always looking for ways to gain more experience within science. I love music...listen to alot of it. Love live gigs... I'm easy to get along with and respect other people's space. This is typical to say, but...I enjoy having a beer and meeting new people. I moved to Canberra about 5 months ago and i have to say, i love it!
