I am quite sociable and easy to get along with, also love my sports and am currently doing undergraduate studies (International Relations) at ANU. Ideally (but not a priority) somewhere near ANU or in the Civic area would be awesome!
Hi all! I'm a PhD Student at the ANU originally from Melbourne, but have been in Canberra for 6 years. I started my PhD last year, and am currently in Washington DC as part of my PhD program. I will be returning to Canberra in early July, and so am looking for a longer-term place to settle back in! I am an easy going but clean housemate who works relatively long hours during the week but love relaxing on weekends. I'm definitely happy to be as social as you'd like - happy to have chats and cook together but am also okay if you'd prefer your own space. Let me know if you have any questions and am looking forward to meeting you! :)
Hey there, from Sydney originally but have lived in the ACT for 5.5yrs. I am a full time venue manager for a delish restaurant/bar in Canberra. Few things about me, am very easy going and always up for a laugh. I enjoy listening to music, eating/drinking, puzzles, the odd hike here or there and much more. As a housemate, I never leave a mess behind and understand the boundaries of a share house.
Hey, I'm an APS graduate looking for a new place since my lovely current housemates are both coupling up. :'( I'm originally from Melbourne, living in Lyneham (which I love) and would love to stay within ~30 minute cycling distance of work in NewActon. As a housemate I'm very friendly, considerate and reasonably tidy. I keep very busy, but I love a friendly housemate debrief at the end of the day. I'm vego but I don't care what other people cook or eat. I've lived in sharehouses for many years with great friendly/respectful vibes and I'd love to find that again in my next place. I come with a very cute and well behaved 9 year old Maltese x Cavalier doggo. She mostly keeps to herself but will be your best friend once she gets to know you. I know some landlords are reluctant to accept pets, but she is a wonderful tenant, doesn't shed and comes with great references from my current and previous properties. I'm flexible on my move dates. I'm looking for somewhere any time in the next 2 months - but for the right place, I'll make it work. Hoping to hear from anyone who thinks their place might be a good fit!
Hi, I’m transferring to Canberra with my employer and will be spending the majority of my time at work or at home in Sydney, I am considerate, respectful and enjoy other company but understand when people need their own time. I’m clean, organized and handy in the kitchen and look forward to meeting some great flatmates :)
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Hi, I'm Kim. I'm outgoing, friendly, funny? and I'm enjoying Australia to the fullest. I love a good laugh, dining with friends or just chill with some good wine any day of the week. I see the positive in most things and I love to live. Wine, cars, hiking, traveling, explore new cultures and learn new languages are some of my many passions. I am looking for a new place in Canberra as I will start a new full time job in the middle of June
Hi, I'm Taylor. I work full-time at a consulting firm here in Canberra. I moved to Canberra in 2016 and have really taken to it. I spend a lot of my time at work and travel semi-frequently. In my spare time, I play guitar and keyboard (through headphones!) and read. Looking for a place in the inner north or south. My move date isn't by any means fixed.
I'm usually a pretty unobtrusive housemate, spending a lot of my time at work or studying, but I enjoy cooking and sharing meals, as well as conversation over wine, tea, or whatever. I would love to be in a house with pet/s but don't have one of my own.
The apartment is brand new and really lovely, in the new Campbell 5 development off Constitution Avenue and Anzac Parade. It has air conditioning and heating, is really well insulated, and excellent quality appliances. It's also incredibly well-located: 15 minutes by bike to Parliament and CBD, 5 minute ride/15 minute walk to the shops, 5 minute walk to the lake, and 2 minute walk to really excellent coffee at Teddy Pickers. There are lots of communal spaces in the apartment block, including a rooftop barbecue area, a library/study area, and events spaces.
Hey there! I'm a Melbourne local, recently arrived to the quietest capital city in the world. I'm generally pretty easy going, love to cook and enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail! I do like to keep things pretty clean and tidy (especially the kitchen, but in return I will fill the fridge with baking and leftovers for all!) I'm desperate to find some people who mean AFL when they say 'footy,' as you can find me in front of the Melbourne game every weekend. I love getting out and exploring Canberra, it's bushland and it's bars; I'm also a big snow fan so am keen for a few trips to the mountains! I work full time, weird hours in a high flying events/management gig that makes me sound a lot fancier than I am, and dog sit for people for a little extra dosh! I'm also **technically** an Arts/Law student, but I only do one subject a semester so I can keep pretending. I'm not around the house all that much, but I'd like a house where everyone is keen to share a meal when it works, but not living in each other's pockets! I'm awaiting the arrival of two smol doggos in August! I wouldn't expect anything of my housemates in terms of looking after them, but am looking for people who would share the pupper love!
Hello! My name is Lachy and I’m a 19 year old born and bred Canberran who is looking for a room in an amazing share house for the next 6 months before I depart Canberra for university studies in another city next year! Right now while living in Canberra, I’m working for Apple as a full time specialist.
I'm employed full-time. I'm relaxed and easy going with a good sense of humour. I'm happy to socialise but also pretty good at knowing when to give people some quiet and space. I'm neat and always happy to help out with household chores/maintenance.
Hi! I'm a 24 year old professional who is about to endure their second winter in Canberra after moving down from Queensland. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm social yet also enjoy some me time, would enjoy long walks along the beach if Canberra had any, and am looking for housemates who have at least basic survival skills (keep tidy etc). Get in touch if you have a room and think I'd be a good housemate!
Looking to join an existing share place - or start a new one! About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Well travelled & a bunch of life experience. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Creative and inquisitive soul... If i'm not at home pondering the origins of the universe, i'm travelling, at work, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Iideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. The usual really. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
Hey, I have been living in sharehouses for 4 years so I know the drill. I am tidy, and mostly keep to myself but am always up for a chat/drink. My sister Sarah has been living out of home for about a year and is extremely mature and sensible for her age (17). She's a cool kid who also mostly keeps to herself, does art and is enrolled in a beautician school. we look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Toni! I am moving back to Canberra within the next week and am looking for a place to stay. I am flexible with short-term or long-term stays, preferably a furnished room. I am currently working in hospitality and very laid back. When I am not at work, chances are you'll find me watching/playing sport, hanging out with some friends, going for bush walks or going for a swim. I am tidy, know how to pull my weight in the house, am sociable but respect the privacy of others.
Hello! I'm a 23-year-old uni student, moving to Canberra from the Sunshine Coast in June to study at ANU. Looking for a room (preferably with own bathroom) in a friendly flat share with like-minded people. Would love to find a place in Braddon or somewhere just as close to uni. Looking for a tidy household with people who don't mind a Netflix binge or having a few drinks over dinner but also appreciate personal space. I keep a busy life as I like to keep active, study full-time and work part-time. I am really easy going and good at being tidy, making margaritas, paying rent on time and respecting others space.
My name is Elinor, I'm a 25 year old gardener looking to rent in Canberra. I am an avid reader, love nature, a foodie and i'm very easy going. I have a cute dog, Reggie. I love taking walks in nature, going to art galleries, seeing live music, going op-shopping, hanging out with friends and my dog, reading, watching films, and so much more!
Hey there! I'm a 23y.o. male, recently graduated from uni in Melbourne. As I've picked up a grad position with the APS and am not that familiar with Canberra as of yet, I'm looking to score a sharehouse with some cool roomies to share with while I get my feet wet getting to know the area. As a housemate, I'm a naturally quiet person; but I'm always up a social dinner and drinks with others when the opportunity's there and don't mind a lot of noise. As well, I consider myself neat and clean, and won't shy away from doing my share of the chores to keep the house clean (as well as my own room). Outside of work (or uni over the last 5 years), I enjoy working out and keeping fit - whether it's at the gym or through a game of basketball; as well, lately I've been bingeing on some Netflix, with episodes of Brooklyn 99 on the menu until I finish up all those seasons and start The Office. During the weekends, I'm looking to join some Meetups, as I've done in Melbourne, to meet new people and do different things - e.g. bootcamps, runs, board game nights, rock climbing, etc. That being said, I also enjoy time being on my own, reading a book or long walks with my headphones in. In addition to my job with the APS, I also have part-time work that'll be moving with me - so I'll definitely be able to pay rent on time and meet financial expectations. And I guess as a final sell for why I'd be a great roomie is that I'm always respecting the boundaries and space of others and always open to communication. For conflicts when I'm involved, I'm always open to sit down, chat it out and work a solution - in my past experience living in hostels and sharehouses here and overseas, this always worked out for everyone in the house/building. Hope to meet you soon!
