Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD until February, so he would come to stay occasionally. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
I'm from a small country town but moved to Canberra to study :) I have recently been offered a new full time position so I'm looking for some one or some people to share with who are friendly! I'm easy going, don't smoke and will spend the majority of my time working. I'm happy to keep to myself, I'm great with chores, I laugh at stupid things and watch a lot of Netflix. *I am allergic to animals, so no pets is perfect :)*
Hello! my name is Alice, I am currently 2nd PhD student from New Zealand, studying genetics. I will be coming over to ANU, canberra to study for half a year. I am real chill and easy going. I am also a tidy person and always clean after cooking or washing. I love meeting and talking to people, so if you are looking for a flatmate/teamups, do let me know!
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. I'll be finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle at the end of this year, then travelling for a few months and moving down in January. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, chill etc.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
Hey I'm Zoe, I love the outdoors, cooking, socialising and of course down time. I'm pretty laid back and willing to have a laugh. Nonetheless i am tidy, organised and responsible. I'm currently in my 3rd (of 4) year of a Arst-Science(Psyc) degree at the ANU and i work casually on the side.
Hi, I'm Jess :) I will be moving from Brisbane to Canberra at the start of 2018 to work as an APS Graduate (so my move date is flexible- anytime around the new year). I will most likely be working at the airport offices and I don't drive so I would like too live somewhere close to public transport. I am currently finishing my Civil Engineering degree and I have two kitties, Bean and Sprout, who love each other more than they love me. I am happy to share with a couple, as long as the two of you are already living together harmoniously. Mainly looking for a "teamup" where we can all decide on a place to live :)
Tidy, clean, organised, lived with housemates for many years, enjoy cooking. Pretty relaxed with bathroom usage. Christian, tries to live those values. I'll be starting my PhD in Philosophy, but am currently a full time teacher, living in WA. Just wanted to see if I could organise accommodation in advance :) I love to dance (tango and flamenco) and come complete with multiple teapots and a tea collection. I have a habit of adding wine to almost everything I cook ... wine not?
I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Creative and inquisitive soul... Enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, eating (fairly) healthy. Seeking some funky folk to share with. Normally i'd start my own share house but this rental market is crazy. I'm looking for : inner north suburb preferably. Large room with space for queen bed, desk, bookshelf. Prefer a nice, relaxed and reasonably quiet (ie: non party till 4am every night) household where one can unwind and rest and sleep without interruption. Enjoy reading and listening to music, watching TV some nights (ABC / SBS / Netflix), playing acoustic guitar, tinkering around with creative musical projects, sharing a meal now and then, etc... Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Most of my friends are aged in their 30s so sharing around that age group would suit. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
Hi, my name is Holly and I am a third year Bachelor of Science student at ANU. I also work part time as a manager at Priceline Pharmacy. I love cheese, sleeping and the outdoors. I'm clean, friendly and I'm easy to get along with. I've been living at college on campus for the past three years and I'm keen for a change of scene. My college contract ends the 6th of December, but I will be flexible for the right place. I graduate July 2018, I'm looking for somewhere for 8 months or so.
We have just come back from a big overseas trip and are looking for a place close to the city. We both work full time. From Canberra, we both do crossfit but love almost any style of exercise training. Love camping, hiking, sunshine and being outdoors. Love a chat and sharing meals and a few drinks now and then but also respectful of personal space and downtime.
I'm moving to Canberra to start a position in a consulting firm at the start of October. My partner already lives in Canberra and we would like a room together. We will be out all day basically and are happy to either socialise in the living room or retreat to ourselves. We're not loud or party animals either.
I'm a British exchange student studying at ANU for the year. I'm a sociable, clean and respectable flat mate. I love being outside and have enjoyed getting involved in the many sporting opportunities available at ANU.
I'm moving to Canberra to begin a PhD at ANU. I lived in Canberra for four years during my undergrad but have been overseas for the last six months. About me: I study physics, I'm from NZ but moved to Australia almost ten years ago, I run competitively (and will often be out running in the evenings), love getting outdoors/hiking, and am keen to try growing a few veggies.
I'm an American moving to Australia in mid-September to work in the public sector. I'm 26, male, grew up in El Paso, Texas, went to undergrad in Washington, DC, got a PhD in the UK, and just got an Australian work visa for my new job. Probably of much greater relevance, I'm easygoing and fairly social -- love dinner parties and singalongs and reading nights and the like. I also appreciate alone time every day and respect boundaries -- amiable silence is grand too. I enjoy cooking with people or alone, and I like the occasional dark beer, wine, or scotch. I'm also pretty tidy and very responsible about household finances and chores and the like. Like alternative and indie folk music but also open to new things. Excited to try out Australian TV and movie comedies. Happy to answer any questions about habits and preferences!
My name is Galani and I'm a 31 year old male and I work full time. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and cycling especially. I am neat, fairly organised and respectful. I appreciate alone time to rest and relax but also quite enjoy socialising over a meal/drink every now and again.
I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
I am a quiet and gentle guy and working as a Ph.D. research scholar in UNSW Canberra, ADFA.I am looking for a shared house/single room in an existing flat in convenient price. If you have any vacant shared house at above-mentioned locations, Please let me know
I am a fresh graduate from Monash University in Melbourne and is moving to Canberra. I studied Business and Arts as an international student from China for more than 3 years. I love tennis, gallery, art events, walking, jogging, swimming, reading philosophy and art, food market and cooking. As a flatmate I am definitely very neat and tidy.
Work full-time in the city, so I'm looking to move closer to work over the next few weeks. I'm pretty easy going, and I'm a very clean and tidy housemate. I like being social, but I also respect people wanting downtime.
Hello! I moved to Canberra in 2013 to study at ANU and then started working as a public servant at the beginning of this year. I'm a friendly, hilarious (in my unbiased opinion), neat and tidy person. I'm respectful of others and very open minded. I love cooking, reading, and doing arts and crafts!
