I've recently obtained a position within the Department of Environment and as such am looking to relocate to Canberra. Prior to the move I have been living in Brisbane where I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Griffith University majoring in chemistry and microbiology. I'm pretty easy going and enjoy a good conversation as well as being tidy, considerate, respectful, financially responsible, generally pretty quiet, non smoker, social drinker and no kids. In the past I've done a 1,400km hike around Japan and a ~900km hike from France to Spain, played some Futsal, fire performance and wouldn't mind taking some cooking classes or some such if I can find some decent adult education courses in Canberra. I'm looking for a share house with responsible and respectful people who solve any problems with discussion and who don't mind some socializing but can also do their own thing as well.
My apartment is new (1.5 year old), spacious and fully furnished. There is a rooftop garden, library, dining and games room (with billiard table) available for tenants. It’s in a great location, just 15 minutes walk to Civic, 5 minutes walk to Lake Burley Griffin, and 1 minute walk to the bus stop (Civic, Barton and airport directions). You would have your own private room and bathroom. All bills will be shared equally.
I work Monday to Friday.. I enjoy listening to music and prefer just to chill out on weekends. Looking to join a friendly and welcoming share house. If you have any questions just drop me a message :)
My name is Thomas, I am 38 years old, single, without children, nurse, and French. I'll be living in Canberra until July for a full-time english courses, at the CIT. Because I arrived in Australia one month ago my "english" is still at an intermediate level but I'll be improving pretty quickly. I am very easy-going and flexible to adapt to your way of living. I am looking for a flatmate in the area around Kingston. I'd be happy to meet you and introduce myself a bit more. Thanks
I have a 12 mth gov contract and am in need of a base. I'm quiet and clean & don't party. I cook, read a lot or watch tv at home. I respect your privacy and like my own but am up for a friendly chat too. Working FT Mon-Fri. I travel home to Brisbane every few weeks, or my partner might fly down down for a weekend now and then. We'll usually go for a surf, hike, cycle or go to the snow or something outdoorsy. Collapse at night. Just really need a bed, space in the fridge and somewhere to store bicycle & boards.
Hey People, I’m a Brow Waxer moving to Canberra from Brisbane in May. For fun I like to socialise and go on adventures. I’m clean and respectful of others spaces. Hibernate mostly when it’s chill, always up for a laugh. Quite outgoing and down to make some memories with some new housemates 🌻
Hi! I'm a 21 year old working professional. I currently work full time in Barton and I'm looking for a house share, can be mixed gender, for sometime in early June. I'm flexible on location but preferrably no more than 12-20minutes from Barton. I have no pets either.
Hi! I'm a 29 year old patent and trade marks attorney. I am an ambivert and enjoy reading, bouldering, board games and listening to podcasts. I'm very tidy and am more than happy to keep to myself or cook and chat after a long day at work. I think it's very important to live with people you get along with so I'd welcome the opportunity to grab a coffee or go for a walk to figure out if we'll get along :)
Hey there, I'm Sami! I have recently moved back back to Canberra after living in Melbourne for two years. Despite having just moved back I've decided I'm well overdue for some soul-searching travel so I am looking for a short-ish term rental (somewhere between 3 and 6 months but potentially longer - if you're looking for at least 6 months and I agree to this, I will of course stick to that!) while I save up and practice my Spanish before heading over to Latin America. I work in hospitality in the CBD/Braddon area so am looking for a house that isn't too far from there so that I can cycle as much as possible! I'm a big fan of plants so more than happy to help your indoor or outdoor garden thrive while I'm in your home! I am also very passionate about environmental sustainability and was about to go into my second year studying this at ANU before deferring so that I can travel! I'm great to live with because I am super accommodating! Ideally I'd love to be part of a more social house with a bit of a community feel but I'm also totally happy to be in a more quiet and reserved home too. I am tidy, respectful, always promptly clean up after myself, a non-smoker and always pay rent and bills on time. Please chuck me a message if you have any questions!
Hey I'm Codie, really bad at introducing myself, but here goes. I'm a 26 year old scientist working in a biotechnology lab, I love my job and always looking for ways to gain more experience within science. I love music...listen to alot of it. Love live gigs... I'm easy to get along with and respect other people's space. This is typical to say, but...I enjoy having a beer and meeting new people.

The House: Five bed. Two bath. Four tenants. We’re a stone’s throw from Mt Ainslie, $8 Uber to Civic/Lonsdale or a 10-min bike ride. Campbell shops a few minutes walk away. We’ve got two rooms, same size, available from April 12 and April 29. They’re medium-sized with built-in wardrobes and you’ll share a modern bathroom. We have living and dining rooms, plus a spare bedroom/study. Plenty of storage space in the house and garage. On and off street parking. Furniture is welcome but we have almost everything. The bedrooms are unfurnished. The Crew: We’ve got two long-timers bouncing to greener pastures (jobs and cities) so you’d be moving in with two blokes in their mid-to-late 20s. A journo & a musician/labourer. We’re both pretty busy but enjoy a beer after work and a few more on the weekend. One loves sport and the other music. We both get outdoors plenty and you’ll find kayaks/surf boards/fishing gear in the garage. Just basically looking for some chillers to shoot the shit with after work. No couples or students, sorry.
27 male, respectable individual. Working Professional, who mostly keeps it to himself but enjoys casual chats at times. Love star gazing - have my own telescope. Recent engineering graduate, so have been a student myself and I will be great with students. Happy to help with your coursework as well at times ;) just ask me nicely. HaHa
I'm a 21 years old French master student in biology. I will do a 3 months internship within the ANU. My internship starts on April 29 till August 4. I'm a really easy to live person, french food cooker and who love share drinks or meals with my roommate. I have already lived in different house shares, so I know the rules for a good harmony.
Hello! I am a clean and considerate person who is looking for a share house with people who like to hang out in the evenings and respect each other's personal space. I recently graduated from uni and I'm working full-time. I love to cook, practice yoga and do anything outdoorsy.
Hi everyone! I’m a 22 year old full time public servant/student. I’ve been living in Canberra for three years, and I am looking for a calm and professional home to move into, preferably with others who are also working full time. I love spending time with others, but also equally enjoy some quiet time and personal space. I’m quite a neat and tidy person, and I really enjoy having a clean home environment. I’m an avid cook, coffee addict, wine drinker, love the outdoors/travel, board games, watching movies/tv shows.. etc.! I do have a bit of a zero-tolerance policy towards recreational drug use, and would really like to live with someone who shares that sort of perspective in terms of living arrangements. :) If I sound like I might be a good fit, please feel free to get in touch for a chat! :) Maree
I am Sparsh, Sophomore Undergraduate from India. I am planning to intern at ANU during Mid-May to Mid-July. I'm looking for some flatmates with whom I can rent some room in Canberra preferably around Braddon. Feel free to contact me to know more about me :)
