Hey! I’m Gavin, a technical trade specialist who's recently settled in Canberra. I’m looking for a new housemate (and a new home) to share a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse or apartment. I live with my 4 year old 1.2kg dog, George (a friendly, low-maintenance and brilliant temperament Chihuahua), who loves attention but is also perfectly happy lounging around when I’m busy. After work, I’m typically winding down with some YouTube, socializing with my current housemate, and keeping the house in order. Weekends are for relaxing and recharging. I’m still new to Canberra and currently feel a bit far from the city—so I’m eager to find a place closer to public transport and activities. I’d love to live with someone around my age or maturity level who shares a similar lifestyle. We can keep costs down by sharing the space and making use of the third bedroom as an office, guest room, or just a chill space when we need it. I’m actively looking for a place from December to January. Ideally, the rent would be under $400 per week per person, and I will bring a lot of kitchen gear, common-area items and TV to share, also a garage for anything we need to keep safe.
