Hi! I’m a 31 year old guy currently living on the Surf Coast in Victoria but moving to Canberra for 6-9 months starting in July for a work contract. I work in construction management so have long hours and am generally not home all that much. When I’m not at work, I’m surfing or heading up to the mountains to ski and camp so unless our work hours line up you might start to wonder if I’m even living in the house! Around the house I’m very tidy and respectful. I’m always up for a chat and/or activity but likewise don’t mind living with people who would rather keep to themselves either! I have a small amount of family in Canberra but otherwise don’t know anyone so it would be great to have a housemate or two while I’m up there. I’m planning on staying on my lease in Victoria so I’d rather not sign onto a new lease if possible. I’ll be coming up with my dog, Jasper, too. He is more than happy to lounge in a yard or even inside all day as long as there is a sunbeam to lie in! He is 5 years old and has no destructive behaviours - I have a vet reference for him too. He is however, reactive around other dogs (cats are all good) if he doesn’t know them so it would be better that he’s the only dog in the home. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hey! Ante 26 have lived in Canberra my whole life currently working as a horticulturist and also studying to be PT I gym 3-4x a week and like going to events and hanging with friends on the weekend Some of the things that make me a good housemate I've always said that shared areas need to be clean so will always make sure if I use bathroom kitchen etc that no one has to clean up after me. Always make sure I'm quiet as can be in the mornings and at night always happy to negotiate task for the household and open to suggestion for making the house hold better for all of us.
