Hi I’m Gen, 32yo Speech Pathologist and Uni Lecturer. I work predominantly in the paediatric population. During my free time, I try to finish my PhD. In what’s remaining of this free time, I hike, finding the best coffee in town, and commit myself to unnecessary fitness/book challenges 🙃. I’m moving from Adelaide and have spent a number of years living, studying and working abroad - Berlin, Singapore and the US. I lead a very busy life and a quiet environment at home is very important to me. Somewhere to unwind and have my own space to downregulate. I enjoy cooking and baking but most times, I refuse to follow recipes to the T and it surprises me how winging it sometimes work. I also enjoy an occasional wine - coming from SA, I am well equipped with some adequate wine recommendations 😊 I’m friendly (might take some time for me to warm up) and quite funny but unfortunately I usually have a rbf. While I lead a very hectic life, organising and cleaning are my favourite procrastination task to do when I’m having my PhD block so you don’t have to worry the cleanliness of the house.
