Tristan
$250/week•39 year old man
I’m Tristan, originally from Queensland and now living in Melbourne. I work part-time in retail while also pursuing opportunities in architectural visualisation, which is my professional background. I’m easygoing, tidy, and respectful in shared spaces. Outside of work I love playing volleyball, going to the gym, and exploring Melbourne’s food and music scene. I enjoy being social with housemates but also appreciate downtime and giving people their space. I’m looking for a private room (fits a double bed) in a home with good insulation — I’m trying to avoid places that get too cold in winter or too hot in summer. I’d also prefer a place that offers a free parking solution (on-site or easy street parking). Looking forward to finding a place that feels like home and meeting new housemates!

Gav
$300/week•31 year old man
Hi folks. My name is gav (he/him). I am 31 and am a few weeks off graduating a bachelor of social work. I live a pretty simple, quiet life, spending my free time hanging out with my friends, early morning gym sessions, riding bikes, reading, running or pottering about the house with a cuppa. I split my time between caring responsibilities for my Mum in regional Vic, a permanent part time role and other casual roles in the housing and crisis space and seasonal work in the outdoor ed world. I prefer a tidy and calm household vibe with others who are communicative and proactive, and that are generally considerate socially and environmentally. I am personally big on routines so things don't get away from me, thus effective at cleaning communal areas and being on top of other household chores. I enjoy good conversations and sharing meals, but am comfortable in my own space too, which I think amounts to someone who is generally easy to live with. Overall I would prefer a household that is more social than less so. I can contribute houseplants, a few pieces of art, a Vitamix to the household. I'd also love to help folks get into the outdoors and share that experience with em. Currently I have a small, laid back, quiet doggo in my care - Bruno. He is a 5 year old Pomeranian mix, he is not yappy, gets along well with other doggos and I can imagine him living with a confident cat. He is my Mum's dog, its is unclear with her support needs whether she will be able to look after him, or if she can, how long that situation will last. So would like to find a place that is happy with doggos, including a situation where he may come and go a bit. Look forward to hearing back from you. I always try my best to align myself with other LGBTIQA+ folks and communities, am SW positive/informed and covid-aware//vaccinated. Thanks, gav

Heyhey! I’m Hoyin (30yr, he/him), originally from Netherlands. I’m currently working fulltime in specialty coffee wholesale as an Account Manager and studying Manufacturing Maths in my free time. I am clean, tidy, and love a good banter, but respectful of privacy and boundaries. I am able to move in at any point after agreement and inspection. (Preferably looking for a shared house, private room, own bath room, and car park. Max 1 house mate. Budget around $400 incl. gas, water, electricity, internet.)

Hi, I'm Gabby, I'm moving to Melbourne for the first time. I'd like to find a nice, central flat with some sunlight and cool people. I've been living in NZ for the past 8 years but I'm originally from Sydney. I get along with most people, and enjoy kind and thoughtful personalities. I love being outside and enjoy sailing on the weekend, climbing when I can, trying to keep up at social football and some creative activities when I can make the time. Please do recommend nice places to visit I'm Melbourne and introduce me to lovely people you know!

Anju
$300/week•32 year old woman
Hi, I’m Anju (32, she/her), currently looking for a room to rent that I can move in on 16th November. I’m going to stay about 5 months until the end of April next year. I’m a working holiday maker from Japan working as an au-pair and a sandwich hand at a cafe. I’m a quiet, easy going individual. I like spending time in my room, but I’m also up for having a chat over a meal or a drink with other flatmates from time to time. I am used to sharing a house with other flatmates. Keeping things tidy and organized is one of my routines especially when I share a place with someone. Thank you for reading this, please send me a message if you think I would be a good fit for your place!

Josh
$400/week•30 year old man
Hi, I'm Josh. I've recently moved back to Melbourne after 3 years in Edinburgh and I'm now looking for a new place to call home. I work full-time in media and will be starting a new job based in Southbank in mid-September. I'm a very friendly person who is always happy to socialise, whether it be a house movie night or cooking together, but I also enjoy my home being a place to unwind and recharge, and I understand people need their own space in the same way. I'm active and love exploring new places with friends, as well as brunch so if you have any suggestions on great hidden gems we'll get on just fine. I'm well house-trained having lived in shared living situations for seven years. I'm clean, tidy, considerate, queer-friendly, and respectful of other people's space, and this comes at the small cost of me drinking copious amounts of tea. If you think I might be a good fit for you and your space I'd love to hear from you!

Hi guys! Looking for a small place following the breakdown of my relationship. I have my own education consultancy company which sees me work with the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I visit Cambridge at least once a year to lecture. I have two cavoodle brothers (nearly 4yo) who are housetrained and exceptionally well behaved. Their father & I share care, so they’re only with me some of the time. Their names are Aston & Martin, (after their father’s car obsession). We would love for you to consider us! Best wishes Penny, Asty & Marty
