Hi Guys, we are looking for someone/a couple to move in from 19th September as one of our housemates is moving abroad. We have a really great, modern 3 storey town house in Carlton North inbetween 2 great pubs (The Empress and Great Northern). The layout of the house is awesome as there is a huge living room, kitchen, patio area on the middle floor that is great for socialising! Your room and bathroom is on the ground floor so it is the perfect set up to allow us to be social but still have our own space when we want it, we love the house and it's location and looking for someone or a couple that are social and looking to enjoy the space with us (especially now summer is coming!). We don't really have a preference but if possible we would like to have a couple or female join us as there is 2 boys and a girl currently so it will keep a nice mix! Price per week is including all bills (gas, electric, water, internet, foxtel and the occasional gardener) The bedframe in the picture is Queen to help give you an idea of size **please not the bedframe in the picture will be different when you move in, you can also bring your own if you want that's no problem**
Hi all, My name is Gen and I'm currently working in the environmental management...and wine. I am respectful and friendly. I'm into walks by the river, coffee, boxing for fitness, and learning about food, culture and sustainability! A presto, spero!
Hi All, I am a single male, working full time as an Online Community Manager. I'm looking for a place where I can socialize with my housemates but also have my own space when needed. I am a clean person who enjoys cooking, sports and a healthy lifestyle (Apart from the odd drink....or 5). I also do freelance work so I need a space big enough that allows me to work from home. I love good music and good times, oh and I'm half Chilean so I speak fluent Spanish, and more than happy to teach the basics. Cheers, Nico
I have just moved to Melbourne from Milan. I am doing a PhD in Engineering at University of Melbourne department of infrastructure engineering. I enjoy reading, trekking, listening to music and hanging out with friends for a beer. My friends know me as an open-minded person. I am clean and tidy.
We are Andrew & Celine. Andrew is from Melbourne, working in employee mental and physical health (wellbeing) full time. A lover of travel, all food made with love and coffee geek. Céline is from Berlin, on a Working Holiday Visa. She loves Yoga and spends most of her time out and about + studying for her Yoga Teacher Training. We're both really easy going people, very open-minded and always happy to meet new people.
Hi hi I'm a 27 year old Londoner that recently made the globe-trot to Melbourne. I am looking for my proper home here but do have a place at the moment (so move in dates can be flexible - Septemberish would be ideal) Particularly interested in living in the inner suburbs - Brunswick/Fitzroy/Carlton/North Melbourne/Collingwood etc Working full time (occasionally on nights but do not worry about having to keep quiet in the day time as I am ranked 3rd best in Europe at sleeping) If you are looking for a new friend to complete your pad-experience then I am your man: - down for chilling - down for house meals (home cooked/out/take away - I'm about that food life) - down for events - festivals/live music/galleries/film - down for getting a sweat on - climbing/football (someone said you call it soccer here)/gym - down for beer/wine/tequila/sake and everything that comes with it - and also down for keeping to myself in my room from time to time Bonus - I've been doing this shared living business for 9 years - I know the good housemate etiquette well Hit me up!
Hey Guys My partner Max and I are looking into moving closer to the City for Work and Uni in the next month or two. I am returning to Uni next year to study my Masters in Health Science- Osteopathy. I am really creative person and passionate about all forms of art and gardening. I also work part time with my partner on his business, designing and facilitating warehouses interiors with new and recycled pallet racking. Most of his clients are in the western suburbs but really he works all over Melbourne. So we are pretty flexible with location. We would love to either move into a share house or team up with someone/couple who is like minded and not regularly into drugs/party scene. (We both don't drink however we do smoke.) Someone who is clean and respectful of our space and belongings but also up for chats and a good friendly house dynamic ✨ We have been looking at 3 bedroom houses as we would prefer an office/study space in the house. However we are flexible with this. We also have furniture for two bedrooms (if required we can furnish your room and increase rent slightly). Also If required, we have living room furniture and appliances, a washing machine, dryer and two fridges.... To keep our food separate? and no food fights haha ;) However if we move into a share house we are happy to put our goods in storage! We would prefer a more modern space with lots of sunlight, heating & cooling and a backyard/courtyard. 🌱🍁🌞 dishwasher is a bonus 🐶🐱 Rescued Furry Friends: We have a 4 yo dog Billie she is a Mastiff x Staffy. Billie is a quiet, loving, lazy dog unless someone is at the door, her bark makes a good doorbell. She warms up to people very quickly and loves a cuddle. Jai is a domestic short haired cat 7yo. He is an absolute champion, mostly indoors and also very affectionate once he gets to know you. They are not high maintenance at all; really chilled and good company! They spend most of the time sleeping and chilling in our bedroom. We groom the regularly and clean up after them and ourselves!
We all three guys are from Japan and know one another since we were in Highschool. We need one room 3 beds or 3 rooms and one bed each total budget per week is $540 for 3 people We all play music instrument so music lover would be best! We are pretty down to earth and love to engage with other people's interest as well as sharing our own. Any helps appreciated! Thanks!
Originally from Ireland but have been in Australia a couple of years. I'm very active, enjoying playing basketball and hitting up the gym. I am carless, so try and ride everywhere, including to work in the Docklands where I work for a digital agency. I enjoy socialising over a pint of Guinness and keen to find a place where all the housemates get involved (Guinness optional).
We are Pez and Megan, just moved to Melbourne. Pez is a writer and musician in the indie folk rock variety and Megan is American and an artist and tattooist. We've most recently been living in New Orleans and traveling a bit and are now ready for a move into a longer term place that can act as more of a base to our creative ambitions. We've both lived in a lot of shared housing and are really accommodating and laid back housemates. We hope to be pretty busy with our creative projects this coming year but always down to hang out at home and go out together now and then. We're both vegetarian, do a lot of cooking at home, and are pretty happy to spend our days off drawing, painting, reading, making music, playing music etc - trying to surround ourselves in our passion. We're always down for a drink and a relaxed night at home or to go out to a gig together now and then. We're curious-types having done years of travel and adventure but are ready to settle into a community, which we're hoping to find in Melbourne for at least a year.

Hi all, My name is Emily and I am currently in search of a new place to call home. I have lived in my current home in Brunswick for just over a year, and am having to move as my housemates are needing to move due to financial reasons and the other wanting to live with her partner, leaving here saddens me but the positive side is i get to meet new people with new energy and I am throughly looking forward to this. Prior to here ( Brunswick) I lived in Carlton North for 8 nearly 9 years, I left this place due to significant rent increases over the years. I'm not a short term leaser I truly like to make a place 'home'. Im 34 and work full-time at ACU in Fitzroy. I'm slightly obsessed with reformer Pilates, drinking coffee and breakfast food. I am clean, quiet and considerate and do most of my socializing out of the house, however, I like to have family and friends over for coffee or wine every once in a while. I pay bills on time and I'm more than happy to supply you with references. I am leaving my current home at the end of August and can stay with a friend until I find my new home if need be. Looking forward to hearing from you... Warm regards, Emily
Hey! My name is Salvatore (Salva), I'm from Chile and I will be living in Australia for a year starting from September 28 with a Working Holiday visa. About me! I am 26 years old and i'm a very easy going guy. This is my first experience living outside of my parents's house (and also living so far away from home). However! I have a high sense of freedom and independence. I'm not a clean maniac, however i could define me as clean and tidy, with the habit of cleaning after myself. I love traveling (I went backpacking in South America 3 times), meeting other people and learning about other cultures. I like deep conversations and laughing at simple and idiotic things. If it's with the company of a glass of wine or beer, the better. Last but not least, I am an advertiser executive by profession. I worked for more than a year in a TV channel in Chile as a Creative Copywriter. I'm planning to find a job when i arrive, could be in my professional area or other (hospitality). I'm an open and respectful soul. *I smoke but I respect the space and the other people living with me so i have no problem managing that if it's an issue

I'm an English pastry chef working full time in Northcote. I have a smoochy tabby called Konrad who'll be moving with me - he spends plenty of time outdoors, or asleep around the house (mostly in my room). I tend to keep it low key during the week thanks to my long hours (I usually start at 6am), and my weekends are Sundays and Mondays when I usually go out for boogies and drinks. I'm looking for a long term home with people who don't mind hanging out & having drinks or dinners from time to time. I can bring a home a steady supply of bread and pastries, plus coffee and cheese. I also have some furniture to bring along!
I have just taken the lease and moved into this lovely 2 bedroom terrace house in Carlton North. It has polished floor boards throughout, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a split heating-cooling system, a courtyard and also a security system. It is in a fantastic location just near the library, a nice park and the beautiful Rathdowne Village. There is also a tram stop which takes you into the city at only 230 metres away and a bus into the city with the stop only 60 metres away. It has on-street parking with a permit available and there are always plenty of places.
quite generous bedroom in North Carlton, the location is just 5 minutes walk to Lygon street where there many restaurants choices,10 minutes walk to Melbourne University, 12 minutes walk to Woolworth, 4 minutes walk to tram 1 and 6 which takes 10 minutes to Melbourne central station and CBD. One person for 325 per week, Two persons for 410 per week
I'm currently working full time and studying some nights and looking to move somewhere more central and closer to the city. I’d describe myself as an easy going guy who likes to have a laugh and socialise with housemates but also likes and appreciates my own and others space. Not much into partying and I'm a non smoker.

Hi there! I'm looking for a share-house to rent in 2019, preferably around Carlton or Fitzroy. Coming back to study at University of Melb after being overseas in China for a year. I'm originally from south-east Melbourne suburbs, and I've previously rented in Carlton. I'd love to share with other students (UniMelb woo!), the more the merrier, but anyone with a sunny disposition and snack cupboard will be swell. Netflix, bubble tea and plundering old bookstores and thrift shops are my passions. Also, if you've got pets that's amazing, if not, I'd love to get a rabbit if you're down for it, but I'll settle for a goldfish. I'm tidy and good with cleaning, I'm pretty quiet around the house (I'm studying Linguistics so I'm usually reading), doing my own thing or working, but I'm always down for a chat or adventure around the city. Really looking forward to sharing with a great bunch of friendly peeps. Also I come with a full dinnerware set for 4, glasses, mugs, and numerous platters (the pros of working in kitchenware retail). Can't wait to hear from you!
She does taekwondo and he is a musician, currently working in the city. We met in Ecuador and are in Australia launching an NGO that engages communities in the Amazon. We are open people who are hoping to find affordable housing and meet great people. If you want to hear more, shoot us a message!
Hi, I'm a simple 20 year old (21 start of next year) looking for somewhere to live in Melbourne while I'm studying at uni next year. I reside regional at the moment, so I'll be moving to the city hopefully between October-November this year. Currently work part time but will be doing full time study once in Melb. I'm quite an artsy person, love listening to music, reading, cooking & watching movies, love going out exploring so I ain't a house hermit.
