Trying to improve myself in this regard. I don't smoke. Enjoy company with like minded people and socialise with ease.
My name is Raquel, I'm from Brazil and just arrived in Australia after graduating from uni. I'm a nice and organized person looking for a house with a good and friendly environment, with people who like to hang out and do things together now and then - I can offer some good caipirinhas 😉 I also like to read, watch films and listen to music (and play a little bit of Brazilian percussion too haha). I'm on a working holiday visa so I'm looking for a place I could stay for 6 months to a year. I've lived in a sharehouse before with 15 other people (yes D:) so I know how to keep things tidy and respectable.
I’m Tom. I’m 23, and am studying architecture at Melbourne Uni…I like to do lots of different things…I tend to read a lot. I love music of all sorts, I like to ride my bike anywhere and everywhere, as well as watch movies, garden, photograph, write, construct etc. I think I'm relatively calm and easy going, sociable but shy, communicative, tidy, open to new things, thoughtful…and many other adjectives. Sooo, I’m looking for a house where there's a communal and familial feeling. I love to cook (and eat/share food together) and try to eat healthily and ethically, so would appreciate those mutual qualities. I would be looking to stay longterm. Anyhow, I hope to hear back from you :)
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message. Keen to arrange a meeting asap. Ta.
i'm pretty chilled and easy going 24 year old from Melbourne. i'm currently working in construction. in my free time i enjoy going to see live music, rock climbing outside / in the gym and camping when i have a free weekend. i have lived in share houses before here and overseas so i know about keeping clean and tidy. i don't mind a social drink or dinner with house mates every now and again i also own a car which i don't mind parking on the street but a bit of garage or off street parking space for my motorcycle would be good.
Site under construction.
I'm 25 and I am moving from Perth to Melbourne to do some extra study in Graphic Design. (I have previously studied Fashion Design and Visual Arts). I have lived in Melbourne for a year and am now moving back on a more permanent basis so I am looking for a long term stay. I have lived out of home for over 5 years now so I am accustomed to house sharing and I am more than happy to contribute to house chores and keeping the house a home. I am very easy going and will be quite busy with study, but i also love to hang out in cafes and bars and catch up with friends etc.
Hey I am a laid back person that likes to keep tidy. Would be nice to live with people that are into flims, TV series or just going out and socialising. Looking to join a Crossfit gym once I have secured a place to live and a job. Just moved here on a year working holiday visa. Back in England i was working as a Project/Design Engineer, aiming to find something along those lines in Melbourne but may look at any work once I settled down and start my job search.
27 year old urban planner and designer, working full time in the inner north. Settling into the 9-6 working life, so finally have time on weekends and weeknights to start back at running, swimming and cycling. Pretty standard weekends involve heading down the pub, getting away to the beach or country and of course a bit of life admin and cooking on a Sunday arvo. I come with little communal furniture, though happy to pitch in where required. Off street parking would be great but a parking permit is good all the same.
I'm a Yoga Teacher with an ongoing full-time office job. Normally i'm out of the door by 07:30 and back home by 20:00 the earliest. I have been living in Melbourne for almost 5 years and looking for a new place to stay closer to work. I pay rent on time and just need a quiet place to sleep. I'm planning to stay at least 3 months and possibly more. My hobbies are chess, reading classic books, Yoga, watching movies. hit me up with a text if you think I'll be a great flatmate.
Hi, I'm a 36 year old professional. I’m moving back to Melbourne from Malaysia and looking for a new home. I'm a strategic design consultant and travel reasonably regularly for work. I'm an open easy going person. I love company and sharing a wine and a laugh but I also like my space and respect others space too. I love cooking, curling up with a book or catching up on quality tv. I also find myself out with friends often, eating good food and drinking excellent wine or in nature when I have free time. I also like to swim, and do yoga regularly.
Helloooooo!! First up, the boring stuff: I'm a uni student from Tassie studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so rent and bills etc are not a problem. I clean up after myself, do my fair share of housework, I've got my own furniture, and also some kitchen appliances to contribute to the household. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. I enjoy the outdoors (although being in Melbourne without a car, that generally just means sitting in the back yard or walking along the Merri Creek Trail). I will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will happily supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Preferably 9 months to a year and happy to go on the lease if need be (would actually prefer it). I'm also flexible with move in date, anytime mid-late April is fiiiiine
Tidy, respectful, discreet, easy going, dynamic, friendly, can cook French dishes ;) I respect people's personal space (it has to be the same way in return).
Hey there, The name is Shrav and finishing up with my studies at LaTrobe University. I consider myself as an orderly, social and tidy person who cleans up well after. I enjoy having a drink or two with a good conversation and going out on the weekends. Also, know a bit of strumming the guitar to entertain myself and others too, if they looking forward to some mad tunes :p I just returned from a long travel break from South Asia and keen on moving into a house with friendly housemates. So feel free to shoot a text message or give a ring if you feel I would be a good fit to your lovely house. Looking forward to some cool new housemates. Cheers :)
My names Saloan and I have recently moved to melbourne from sydney. I am 31 yrs old and the mother of little elsker (mini foxie) she is the apple of my eye, she is house trained, chilled and is a ball of love ( she is also cat friendly as she grew up with three :) ). i recently started a clothing brand that is about design with intention and making conscious options simple and accessible for everybody. i crew up in the bush so the environment and nature play a huge part in my life. I have lived out of home and with others for over 15 years so sharing the home space, being responsible and clean is no issue for me, i'm all about a positive and happy home environment. Things i love- reading, cooking (i'm vegan), yoga, animals, anything creative, fashion, drawing/painting, camping, being outdoors and red wine. I would love the chance to come over and introduce little elsker and myself, get to know each other a little better. if you think i would be a good fit please drop me a message. :) have a wonderful day xx
Hey I am Laura, 24, from Portugal, currently on a skilled visa in Australia, but planning to stay! I am super friendly, tidy, clean and fun (respecting others spaces of course)! I love cooking, especially for my flatmates! Always know something cool to do in town, but like sitting down for a movie and chill too. Super easy going!
I'm pretty easy going, love going out but also chilling at home. Netflix is my best friend but I also like people and new friends 😛
Hello. I've just moved here from Perth. I'm laidback, neat, a non-smoker and pretty sociable. I work full-time in the marketing industry, and enjoy sports, reading, travelling and getting out and exploring Melbourne. I like the occasional drink after work and a nice meal, having friends round every once in a while, and don't party very often.
Originally from Amsterdam, I’m a pretty easy going and down to earth person. I work in advertising and in my free time I like to travel, go for a run, watch Netflix or meet up with friends. I don’t smoke, clean up after myself, love animals but don’t own any pets. Ideally I would like to live in a house with like minded housemates that respect each other’s privacy, but also like to hangout and chat occasionally. That being said, a studio apartment would also be great. I’m flexible in terms of the moving date.
Hi! My name is Sara and I'm a 23 year old student from Spain. I love crossfit and netflix, going out, meeting new places and a good talk. I’ve already been about five months in Melbourne and planning to stay for about six more months studying Fitness III. I am a clean, responsible and organised person but I also like having fun. I am looking for a quiet and relaxed place where I can rest and call my home. I would like a bedroom for my own in BRUNSWICK :) More about me: - VEGAN - Pet friendly - I work as a waitress - I like using sarcasm (maybe too much sometimes) - I can’t pronounce massage - Live music is life - I love sleeping
I’m easy going, clean and reliable. I’m currently making the move from Sydney to Melbourne for my new job. I would like to find a house that is sociable and an environment where we can catch up over a drink but nothing crazy. I have a full time job in the insurance industry and I spend my weekends catching up with friends or going to the football. I’m looking to move into a place at the end March but this is flexable. Cheers
Hey, I’ve just moved from London to Melbourne, arrived on the 18th of March and have three weeks in an Airbnb before I’m homeless! I'm 27, which sounds scary now it's down on paper. I'm a secondary school English teacher and have just been granted a permanent residency. I decided to move in March to coincide with Term Two, so I should begin working within a few weeks of arriving. I plan to do relief work while I get settled and then move on to a more permanent role. I'm clean, tidy, responsible, dependable, try to do one nice thing a day. (Well, one random act of kindness a day, but hopefully more than one nice thing in total!) Aside from my job, which I love, I’m really sporty - a huge football (soccer to you guys?) fan and keen for someone to teach me all about AFL. I love being active, outside, exploring, generally being busy. Not shy of an evening on the sofa or a good competitive board game, after a long day either though. As I’ll know absolutely nobody when I first arrive I'd be grateful for some friendly housemates, who might be able to introduce me to Melbourne and help me get to know some people, just settle in really. So, looking for friends to live in a home with, not simply looking to occupy a spare room. Hope to hear from you, (and meet you!) soon.
