I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane! I work in hospitality so my hours can rotate like crazy! But when I'm not at work you'll probably find me at a gig or definitely a pub... not looking for a party house but definitely somewhere where everyone likes to have a drink after work and socialise! I am duper clean (room can be questionable however common areas will be spotless!)
Hiya!!! I'm Minty, and I'm 25, work full time in Govt comms, collect vinyl, love gigs, banter, good food and general adventures, including getting back into climbing and swimming 😁. Love a wine/beer/whatever is in the liquor cabinet and a boogie, and am known to feed people excessively. I'll be new to Melbourne and would love to live in a social house, make some friends and learn where all the best places are! Totally respect space though! I do have cerebral palsy, which means I use 2 sticks for outside adventures but have lived in sharehouses the last 6 years and totally pull my weight. It does mean I struggle with mowing and mopping but am happy to make that up doing extra of other household things. Anyway, I hope I sound like someone who you'd like to live with, please get in touch! 😁
Hey! My name is Joel, I'm 33 and I work full time in the city. I'm conscious of my health and like to stay active. I enjoy reading in my own time and playing music (Don't worry I use headphones). I'm clean, tidy and pay bills on time. I am looking to join/start a house share were I'll be on the lease. I do also have a car, so parking is a must.
Hi, I am a 26 year old junior doctor from India, moving to Melbourne to pursue public health from the University of Melbourne. I am easy-going, friendly, tidy and respectful of other's space but at the same time looking for a warm environment. I am going to be new to the city and the country so also looking for someone who doesn't mind giving me a little help settling in. TIA
Hi! My name is Ivan, I am 29 and I am from Spain. As an architect I am, I like design and photography. I love travelling and doing sports and I also enjoy going for a walk and having a beer with friends from time to time. I was living in Cairns for the last 6 months where I completed the farmwork to extend the Work and Holiday Visa one year more. Now I am looking for a full time job as an architect in Melbourne and meanwhile I am working as a UberEats delivery rider. It would be perfect to find a place to live where calm and cleanliness can go together. If you have something that may suit me, I look forward to hearing from you. Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you need some aditional information.
Interviews 1st May onward, move-in early-mid MAY. 6 month min. stay. Large-ish private room. We are seekers, seeking a room. We have travelled in our van for seven months, and lived in Batemans Bay since October. Now, Melbourne is calling us back home. Inner north suburbs preferred, but other areas considered if public transport is amazing. Leigh sings and plays acoustic guitar quite beautifully, cooks wholesome Indian food, and works online trading shares/stocks. Muireann enjoys gigs/galleries, loves a good book, and whilst she aspires to be a trophy housewife she currently works full-time looking for events work. We both love deep robust discussions about very important rubbish and fuel these discussions with coffee. Muireann has a semi-green thumb and would jump at the opportunity for a veggie patch and compost heap. Muireann likes: Keeping a nice house, dancing, op-shopping, writing, pets, recycling, baking, and taking opportunities to level up and reach goals. Leigh likes: Exploring the present moment including but not limited to physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental levels of being. We would like caring housemates, who aren’t total strangers and are respectful of boundaries and space. Occasional shared meals would be nice (Leigh is vegetarian). We are big believers in open and honest communication to prevent any issues. We don’t want a ‘party house’ but do enjoy having people round on occasion. We are clean and would suit housemates who generally value cleanliness. We are respectful of noise-related needs. Leigh is a non-drinker but will happily join in social things anyway. We are both ex-smokers. Recycling/rubbish separation is v important to Muireann especially. It would be cool if you have pets, or would be open to having pets around (we would like to look at fostering a cat or dog). We come with a cold-press juicer and a waffle iron as well :D
Hi my name is Lyca! I'm from Philippines and working as a part time for now while applying for permanent job. My husband name was Josh he's from Sydney and working as full time. We both looking for sharing a house for a long term. We keep the house neat and clean so looking for someone who is considerate in this regard. We keep things pretty chill, with peace and quiet and respect for each others space. Also, We like cooking, gardening and adventure.
Hi there just a student looking to get out of the outer suburbs. Am currently working 2 casual jobs and studying part time. sociable, flexible (not physically) when it comes to needs to others and am (usually) tidy. No okay I'm mostly tidy. P.S that's not my dog in my picture nor do I condone animal violence
Hey, I'm Maddy from Taiwan. I am a full-time student studying Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. I also work part-time at university libraries, so no problem paying the rent on time. I'm clean and tidy and would love things to be organized. I am also easy-going, friendly, respectful and positive and I love to laugh:) Oh, and I love plants and animals. During the week I will probably be really busy, so I'll need a quiet place for me to relax (or study). But on the weekend or in my spare time, I enjoy drawing, reading and going to the movies. I love outdoor activities like hiking, camping, scuba diving or just traveling around and exploring cool and unique coffee shops. Feel free to contact me if you think I will be a suitable Flatmate. :)
Hi, I'm currently improving my english at school, next to Southern Cross station, until mid May. I'm 36 years old, young mindset, chill and smiling, super clean and respectful (and I expect the same from others), I like socializing as much as tranquility sometimes and I respect other's. I've been travelling for a year and a half, spending most of my time with 18-28 years old people and it was perfectly fine. I don't smoke and I really don't like that smell inside the place I live. Cats are ok, but I don't really enjoy dog's proximity. I'm looking for sharing an appartment or a house (with my own, very quiet bedroom (I've a light sleep)), with respectful and open-minded people, who like socializing (beer/wine/diner/movie/conversations, cooking... !) , at least a minimum :) I'll be leaving Melbourne around the 13th of May, so I'm looking for a flexible rental, starting around the 10th/13th of April.
Hi potential flatmates, I’m a 26 year old Egyptian looking for a private room in a place I can call home (Preferbly in Coburg or around). I studied engineering, currently work in hospitality in Coburg and I play music. I’m easy going, open-minded and very keen to live in a clean and tidy place. I respect each person’s own privacy/space but I also like to socialize every now and then. So hit me up if you got a place for me or wanna team up to find a place. Cheers:) Omar
I’m a 27 year old photographer, originally from Norway but have been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years. I have a pet bunny named after my grandpa; Bjørn, he’s a bit shy but warms up to people after a while and is toilet trained. During the week I like to keep it pretty low key with work & shoots, and on the weekends I don’t mind having a boogie, caching up with friends, going out for dinner and the usual.
Hey! I'm Sid, I'm 21 and am from Los Angeles. I'm a professional musician but recently quit my band and moved to oz for a year of fun. I'm moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast in May. I enjoy my alone time, but also like to have a glass of wine and chat or hang on the couch and watch Netflix with the roommates. I like to go out for drinks or a show on weekends, but usually keep it mellow during the week. I love to cook, I clean up after myself, and I've been rated 4.5/5 stars by all my old roommates (because nobody's perfect). I'm looking for cool, fun, likeminded people to live with!
I am a queer, creative ambivert who loves to share ideas and new experiences with people. I work full time for a tech start-up, with a side gig of yoga teaching that I'm looking to expand. I'm looking for a small group of women/non-binary folk, who appreciate what it means to live kindly and simply with one another. I do my best to tread lightly for my time here. I have a BFA and a great love of literature and philosophy, and continue self study in these areas. Outside of that I'm reading, travelling to festivals, out for a run, or frequenting spoken word or live music performances. I'm softly spoken, considerate, and big hearted. I love to share food and have traversed the world of share housing, and the world in general, for long enough to know my place in the clean up process as well. I was vegan for many years, although now eat indiscriminately, so view both sides of the coin favourably. I am inquisitive and optimistic. I get along with a broad range of humans, and if I can't, I do my best to understand them. I prefer kitchen conversations to TV, and good humour to gossip. I come with just my bedroom furniture, some kitchenware, and a metric ton of books. My moving date is quite flexible. If you feel like I'd contribute something to your home, please be in touch X
Hello! I am currently in Perth and looking to make the move back to Melbourne. I am 25 going on 26. I am a very tidy, respectful, friendly, easy-going person who loves socialising, live music, the ocean, exploring the outdoors, going out to bars, pilates, and watching live sport (especially a rare West Coast appearance at the G). I would love to find a place with other respectful and sociable people who share the same interests and values, know how to clean up after themselves, and can also become a friend, not just someone to share a house with. Anywhere in Richmond or Fitzroy/Carlton North area :) I also have a car so will need a space to park - street is fine!
Hey I'm Fred, an Argentinian Architect, working full-time in Melbourne. Passionate about architecture, music and movies. I really enjoy good company, deep talks, and long dinners with wine of course. I think the idea is to experience life, to learn from different cultures, to exchange visions, to be nourished by variety, and to continue expanding the horizon.
Heya people, we are Mark and Irene (Looking from the 26th April) I'm a chill friendly guy from Adelaide who has worked all over the world. Quite social, almost always down for a beverage and a chat about saving the world, but I also enjoy my hermit times. Love getting out of the house for adventures and seeing what this crazy town has to offer. Full of bad advice if you're looking for it. 35. Looking for a place with my girlfriend Irene (31 who is spanish, so it's pronounced Irrrrrreeeennné) She is lovely, well traveled, always laughing and pretending i'm funny. Shes an artist who likes to spend her free time exploring and painting. I'm in sales but would love a job in architecture or flying helicopters. Irene is working in a hotel in the city but would like to be a full time artist. Not party animals but down for most things fun. Very easy going and drama free. We have been playing the share house game for some time and get along with just about everyone. We love puppies, sunsets, cleaning up after ourselves, paying rent on time and respecting other people shit. Hit us up with any questions!
Hi, I'm Durukan. I was 24 years old. I worked as a mechanical engineer, but decided to quit and moved to Melbourne. I prefer a place close to the city center because I don't want to be away from events. I'm friendly and fun. I'm open-minded and I have a personality that doesn't judge people. One of my reasons for coming to Australia is to improve my English so I enjoy talking.
Hi my name is Tano and I've been living with my partner Carlos in St Kilda for the past 6 months. Now that the summer is over we are looking to move somewhere closer to the CBD. We are both Mediterranean so we can cook healthy and tasty and we are very friendly and open-minded. We are loving our experience in Oz so far and hope we can keep making the most of it in our new home. I work for RMIT and Gaetano is a Graphic Designer so expect to engage into interesting conversations about any topic!
