I'm in the final year of an IT security bachelor degree and do freelance Web Development for top up income. In my free time i play and watch a fair amount of basketball, code web applications and also all the standard things done socially with others. I'm really into film as my first degree, which i dropped out of was a film studies orientated arts bach, now i'm in IT lol but it's ok because i think i've watched all the movies i need for a lifetime. Im looking for a social house hold as i've been living in a studio apartment for two years and the solitude is the reason i'm looking to move out. I'm easy going, look for civil non-confrontational modes of conflict resolution and am clean to whatever the household standards are although obviously you cannot know this for sure, so you should msg and vet me :)
Hi There My name is Terry I am 28. I work full time at RMIT I also study there. I am friendly, easy going person and I always help out around the house. I enjoy cycling, camping and surfing. I am a pretty busy person but I always find time for chats with housemates or a beer but I am cool with quiet time too and I love to read a good book. I have plenty of savings so I can pay rent and bond easily, I always pay bill on time. I enjoy the occasional night out and I have been told I have pretty good dance moves. I am always into trying new things so if you want a friend to do something with If I have time I am generally game. I am currently trying to learn Spanish! como estas?
Hi there! Thanks for checking out my profile to find out about what sort of housemate I am. I'm a 33 year old professional who emigrated properly from the U.K. last year (although I've lived in Melbourne twice before so I know it well). I'm a teacher although I'm on a break and working full time in Marketing trying to break in to copywriting as I love to write. I'm really easy going, tidy, humble and very respectful of others. I like to have a giggle and to go out but equally like my time at home too. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a house with. Respectful people, decent human beings. It doesn't bother me what you do or what your interests are, as long as you pay your rent on time and tidy up after yourself, etc. It would be a bonus to have housemates I can socialise with and enjoy the things to see in this wonderful city! If you think we'd work well in a house or flatshare together, i'd love to hear from you! Nicola :-)
I'm Anne, 35yo and work full time in the city. I also have a side hustle that keeps me pretty busy. I like to go out, see bands, eat at all the amazing places around Fitzroy, love a drink and a laugh. I'm clean and can pay bills on time.
hi! My name's Kirsten and I'm looking for a new place to call home :) I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a house or townhouse in Melbourne's inner north, preferably between $180 and $260ish a week. I work full-time in communication and study writing on the side. In my spare time I'm usually buying books, at the movies, spending time at my bf's place, or talking rubbish at the pub. I don't have any pets except for a few cute plants I can dot around the house. I'm not home all the time, but when I am I'm more than happy to have a chat and chill out together over some wine/food. My idea of a great share house is one where we can hang out together sometimes, but also do our own things when we want. And somewhere where everyone's happy to tidy up/do their bit to create a happy home. I reckon I'm pretty laid back, but I'm also clean and know that everyone plays a part when you're sharing. My move date's flexible, but preferably around the middle/end of May. Hit me up if you think we might be good together!
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're easy going, quiet and tidy. We have excellent references from previous rentals.
I've just moved back to Australia after living in the US for the last two years. I'm 30 years old and work full time as a software engineer. I'm pretty easy to get along with and have plenty of share house experience. I'm always keen to share a few drinks and a meal with my housemates. I'm a fairly decent cook as well and have learned how to cook a proper BBQ after living in the US! I like travel (my most recent destinations were Peru & Cuba), skiing, and enjoying some live music. Looking to move in ASAP!
Hello! I'm Laura, a copywriter, 30, who love books, magazines, boardgames, cooking (I'm vegan) plants, writing, travelling, being in nature, cycling around Melbourne, and gin. I'm studying my masters part time in publishing at Melb Uni, and am also working on a couple of other creative projects (including a podcast!). I generally like to keep pretty busy through the week, heading to gigs, feminist events, seeing friends etc, and will tend to potter around the house on Sundays, cooking up a storm for my week ahead or working on personal projects. I'm clean and tidy in shared areas (but not super uptight about it), always pay bills on time, and am not looking to live in a party house. I'm looking for a place to call home, somewhere to feel settled and happy to come back to. I also would love to live with someone creative and self-motivated, who likes to have shared dinners and a wine/beer from time to time to chat about life. Disclaimer: I come with a slightly grumpy cat, Millicent (Millie originally, but Millicent suits her personality much better). She's a 10 year old, slightly overweight (we're working on a diet together!) rescue cat who sleeps most of the day and is v v well house trained. She doesn't claw or destroy anything, is de-flead once a month, and has short hair which doesn't malt much. She isn't overly cuddly or super friendly, so would probably suit someone who doesn't like cats all that much, she does love a snuggle at night though, she's v lovely while you're asleep. hehe.
I've lived in share houses before I'm clean tidy and respectful and always up for a beer or shared dinner with housemates. I enjoy cooking and happy to contribute to shared meals. I work full time in communications.
I am very easy going and friendly with all people I meet! Besides that I am clean and have experience of sharing apartments with people, and I never had problems. I really like to socialize and explore my surroundings, therefore, I spend a lot of time outside the house. Especially in Melbourne, as I'll be an exchange student and I will try to do as much as possible^^
Hello! It's Sonia from Ecuador, South America. Engineer, studying and working. I'm an easy going, responsible, clean, organized and happy person =D I love modern style and pets. I prefer a house clean and tidy as a symbol of respect for all the people in the house. I love taking care of the environment.
I am a social person who is easy to get along with, but also enjoy my down time. I am independent, working fulltime and i love being outdoors. I love cooking, am a massive foodie and enjoy a chilled out glass of wine and a chat. I'm a 28yr old kiwi girl and have been living in Melb for 6 years.
I am a 25 year old, starting as a Research Assistant / PhD student at The University of Melbourne. Preferably looking for something close (walking or biking distance) to the Carlton campus. Originally from the Netherlands, I have spent the past two years in the north of Finland. I am a tidy person, keeping my apartment in a clean condition, with a very strong preference for non-smoking apartments. In my free time I enjoy a variety of sports, as well as social events, tv shows, and reading.
Spanish mate with Work & Holiday Visa. Alcoholic nerd who work on IT & Design. Planning to get a job and have a "serious" kind of live, with timetables and stuff, but I don't know how to say no to a drink. Not keen on sports but love to hike and going outdoors. A lot of Netflix, too. Like drinking, movies, 420 and several things... like a person, you know.
I am a 27 years old Software Engineer working full time in Fitzroy. I am not a party animal at home, but I love to go to dance Salsa and other Latin rhythms very often. Also, you will find me Sundays singing (in English and in my native language Spanish) and playing the guitar on the open mics on grumpy's on Smith St. I am friendly, tidy and respectful. I don't smoke. I am not vegetarian, but I never eat meat at home. I am usually busy with work but I am always keen to any social activity, shared dinner, outdoor activity, movie, etc. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hi, I'm Anton, a primary school teacher, surfer (who gives housemates free surf lessons) and laid back guy who's looking for a new place. I have a teaching job in Keilor East and my landlord of my lovely Brunswick lease for the last two years is renovating and then selling! I hit trivia once a week in Collingwood with friends and enjoy eating out and cooking up awesome food. I have a cat too that comes with references from my current and former housemates. Would love to be part of the house. Also can contribute furnishings too if you'd like. Please message me or give me a call. Thanks, Anton
Hi I'm Jess. I'm 28 years old and work as a client services officer at a financial planning firm. My interests include music, especially live gigs, the ocean, travel, animals and spending time with friends. I'm a fairly easy going person, like to keep things tidy and would consider myself to be quiet but friendly. I am a bit of a nanna during the week but always up for a dance and a drink on the weekend and my poison of choice is a vodka, lime and soda water and a tequila shot never goes astray. Cheers :)
Brian here, from Ireland originally and recently moved to Melbourne via 6 months travelling in central / south america. Previously I was living in London for 4 years. I'm ideally looking for somewhere I can call home, living with friendly people where we might share a meal the odd evening and catch up when we're about the house etc. I've lived in house shares for the past few years and they've always worked out well resulting in long lasting friendships. I like to keep active by cycling, running, gym so don't be surprised if I trick you into the odd triathlon or fun run! Love pets, so if you have any pets about the house that's cool. I also like to cook and enjoy cooking house meals every now and then. Keen to check out the Melbourne music scene too as I enjoy going to gigs.
Hey, I'm Ebony! I'm a 20 year old queer female looking for a home for my dog and I. I'm a clean, open-minded and friendly person who loves all kinds of art and am an absolute music fiend. I write songs and sing a lot, mostly to my dog, but also sometimes at venues. My current housemate says that I'm "sweet and always keen to share a story". Cruizer is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffy), who is tiny for her breed, only has half her teeth, and is the most loving and adorable little baby you will ever meet. She sleeps inside with me on my bed, and needs to continue to do so in our new home. I'm originally from country New South Wales and have been living in Melbourne for a bit over a year. I moved here to pursue a creative and free life with more access to art, music, and work options. I'm currently looking for bar work, work occasionally as a model, and have money for bond and rent ready to go. Ideally, the household we are looking for are pet-friendly, 420 friendly (however discreet I need to be), queer friendly, and all around just friendly people. I'm a quiet yet chatty person who loves my downtime and loves spending time with my partner and my dog. Looking for long or short term stay and ready ASAP Hope to hear from you :)
I'm a very clean and chilled out housemate. I'm into meditation, good conversation, and plotting to change the world. I've recently had a career change to software development so I sometimes work from home. I like to read books, go to art galleries, go to tech meet-ups and talks.
Heya I'm Isma, 30 yo girl from Brussels, Belgium. I've been in Melbourne for two years now, working as a graphic designer Looking for: • Bedroom (Preferably a room with an ensuite but not a defining factor) • Long Term • 2 to 4 people including me • You'd make me super happy if you have a cat! • Reasonable price • Moving in around 15th of May - 1st of June About me: Looking after a place I could call home. I'm really laid back, down to earth and friendly. I'm quiet most of the time but like having human interactions with housemates. I'm staying at my partner's house on most weekends so I'll mainly be home during the week. I'm into music, tech-house mainly. I used to DJ lots but due to an ear injury I'm only doing music production. I love nature, spirituality, video games, watching documentaries. Should I mention I am vegetarian? I speak French and yes I'll teach you swear words :D Just ask me if there is something else you would like to know about me. About you: • Females/males, 27/35 • Social house with chats over a tea or wine and occasional dinner or outings • Housemates tidy and clean in the shared space. Super respectful of other people living in the house • Environmentally conscious Cheers! :)
Hey guys, I'm Mitchell. I've lived in a rural town my whole life so I'm long overdue for a change of scenery. I won't be moving until mid to late June, but its better to be organised. I consider myself to be a pretty nice guy, I value my friends and I'm happy to go out of my way to help somebody out (if you're upset, I'll probably just quote Simpsons until you smile). When I move I will be studying Animation, so between that and working I won't be in the house all that often. When I am at home you will find me reading a book, gaming, cruising through netflix, or listening to podcasts. I consider myself to be a pop culture fiend, so if you like Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty, or anything inbetween throw me a bone. I like to keep quite active and I regularly go to the gym. I do play around with the guitar a little bit aswell, so if you are a muso and want to jam that would be lovely too. Ideally, I would love to live with 2 or 3 other people to expand my social circle (I'm leaving all my friends behind ):) If you think I'll fall in with your bunch, please consider me.
Close to the City. Tram stop outside the place. Close to all amenities. Lot of restaurants and shops and its very close 10 min walk to lagoon street. RMIT University and University of Melbourne is very close and easy accessible.
