I'm easy going & down to earth, always keen for a chat but also respect each others privacy. Clean & tidy. Always pay my rent on time. Looking for a private room not far from CBD area. Parking needed/street parking is fine :) No couples cheers!
Hi there, I am a nice individual, polite, professional, international, cultural, sporty, usually quiet, not difficult at all, pay the rent on time, etc. ~ I like listening to music with earphones, languages, work, projects, sport, texting with friends in my phone, travel / adventure, youtube or movies in my laptop, a few games in my laptop, writing, etc. I am from Sweden, however I am Australian as well. I am looking for team-ups, to split up a house or apartment with others interested in renting directly from a Real Estate agent. Studio apartments, lease take-overs or private rooms interest me as well. So feel free to contact me if you have a private room to rent out, a lease to take over or you would like to team up with someone like me ~ Currently I am primarily interested in team-up applications in central Melbourne or in central Sydney, with interesting flatmates keen on adventure etc
HOME. Step off the busy street and into our inner city oasis of calm and creativity. This surprisingly big duplex is a haven to call HOME. Lovely neighbors, a fledgling veggie patch, deep divine bathtub, creatively decorated, and ready for a new housemate. You're ideally 30 or over, a caring, respectful, spiritually and spatially aware individual, who has their feet on the ground and is financially stable via way of full time work. NO room shares or couples thanks! Good medium sized room with courtyard outlook... It's carpeted and quiet. Bigger in person! You'll be sharing this huge art deco home with me- an artist in residence. This place is so big it's practically like having your own apartment( with paved backyard)! The kitchen is often filled with music and has all mod cons including cooking with gas, and a tea shelf. The couch in the kitchen is a much favoured chill spot. The lounge has a quiet relaxing vibe- has nice morning light. It's more of a meditation and music space with enough room for and stretching and/or curling up with a book. No TV at the moment-I'm not opposed to one though(especially if it's BIG). Within walking/riding distance to EVERYTHING including a all the happening hangouts, venues, parks and pubs... this location is great for someone that loves all the inner north and CBD has to offer. It's all here on our doorstep. More about me? I'm a planet loving carnivore- and make ethical choices in life where I can. I don't subscribe to a 9-5 life but respect the choices of others. I love having a compost and if you like to garden that would be a bonus. I'm often found singing in the kitchen or reading in the lounge. Love a good conversation about most things and enjoy a mix of sharing a cuppa and doing my own things-very independent individual. Having an environmentally aware household is important to me and ideally you prefer the more natural products. Message me a bit about your situation and PLEASE include some fun facts about yourself! Looking forward to the future...
I am moving over from Perth, WA to work in Carlton as an environmental campaigner on Tuesday the 22nd of August. I'm pretty easy-going to live with and can switch modes decently well. Mostly keen for a relatively quiet house however as I am super keen to do well in my new job. Love a good movie, video game or tv-series, possibly keen for join Monday night viewings of the new Game of Thrones episode of the week, that kinda stuff :) Non-smoker and would prefer not to live with smokers as I am asthmatic and would like to work with other people who working during the week so that our schedules don't clash. Don't have any furniture with me as I am flying over so if the room you have spare is finished that's a massive bonus! And if you are willing to help me pivot mattresses into my room then we can probs be friends. Please contact me I need a house and a roof very soon lol -Matt
*** I DO NOT SMOKE AND WOULD LIKE TO LIVE W SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T*** I am a bubbly, social conversationalist; I have lived and worked in several countries, Australia being my 5th home. I love to laugh and talk about lotsa things - politics, development, startups, travel, charity. In my private time I like to day dream about new ideas and create change. I love sports and like to take big walks. I have two beautiful, mixed race boys who mainly live with their mother at the mo, one is 8 the other 3.5. My big boy is a Hawks fun; the little one a Bull Dogs fun; I am fun of both teams obviously but my real heart is w Arsenal - 20 years in a row. Isn't that true of all Africans? lol - I am pure Aussie. I used to live in leafy Eltham and ran my own business. I am now separated and single and recently sold our property. I am looking for new life and challenges; I am currently working on two start-up ideas and want to be closer to the city. I love to solve BIG PROBLEMS and call myself an entreprenuer. Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.
Hello I'm Sabrina frlm Hamburg. I'm looking for a furnitured room with a window, clean and cosy. I love cooking, a nice kitchen would be nice. I'm from Germany (I'm a teacher for handicapped children) and want to improve my English at Kaplan International School. I'm active and like to go out for dinner. I like running, traveling, hiking, ...
Update: We are still looking for a house that offers two clean (preferably furnished) rooms which costs max. $260 per week per each, and with this cost we hope that it includes bills & internet. We will arrive in Melbourne on the 1st of September, both plan on staying in an hostel whilst doing inspections 'till we find something that suits our needs. If you got anything to offer don't hesitate to send me a message! We're two easy to get along with Dutch film students looking for seperate private rooms because we like to have some privacy when needed. Other than that we're keen to live in a shared house and get to know some interesting people. We both have an internship for 6 months so we shall be working full-time. Outside of working hours we'll be either resting or taking the time to explore Melbourne. We don't mind having a drink or two on the weekends.
Hi guys, I am Jay and I am looking for a stay with my friend Akash for a longer period. We are currently sharing the same flat in Southbank, lease ends soon so looking for options. We are friendly, young and clean party lovers. Also, we work hard ;)
Hi all, I am sadly moving out of my Carlton house and am looking for someone to take my room. Our lease is up come November 14 but there would be the opportunity to stay on if you were keen. The house is located in front of the bus stop(250,251,402) and 4 and 5 minutes from the tram stops(86,96 and 1,3,5,6,8,16,64,67,72). Just 2 minutes from Lygon street.
I am pretty quiet and keep mostly to myself. I teach yoga part time currently and work at a physio doing admin work (am studying a degree in sport and exercise science online) but am looking to work back in hospitality upon returning to Melbourne. Super easy going, clean, and am always up for a chat.
Hey! My names Jemima but everyone calls me Mimes or Mimi :-) A little bit about me! I'm currently studying a bachelor of social work at Victoria University in Footscray and I work as a waitress. I love to draw, chill in my room and watch shows like Rick and Morty, broad city and my fave RU PAULS DRAG RACE! Tarantino films are my lifeblood. Overall I'm pretty clean. I'm chill as a housemate and just like to go with the flow of the house dynamics. I'm happy with smokers, non smokers, drinkers, non drinkers, whatever you do, do you boo boo. I'm not a huge party girl but I love a drink and I love live music. I take my partying out of the house when I do it (but feel free, go nuts) I like going to my friend's houses a few days a week and getting out of the house in general as much as possible between work and when study permits so I'm not home a whole lot of the time but am totally happy to hang with my housemates when it suits but am respectful of space of course :) I make some pretty decent meals too and am super keen to cook some sweet feasts featuring some good wine. It says 6 months but ideally it can be longer with the right roomies! I'm also potentially keen to start a new household too :) So swing me a message and I'll get back to you! XO
Hey, I'm Ben. 27 years old, working full time as an electrician. Looking to move closer to the city for a change in lifestyle and to be closer to work. Lived out of home a few years now so I come fully trained and own almost everything required in a house (which I'm happy to put in storage or to bring along). Definitely social but also like to have time to myself, happy to share meals or drinks. In my own time and on weekends I'm normally at the gym, cycling or catching up with friends and family. If you want to know more feel free to ask
I am looking for a room for September, around Fitzroy, North Fitzroy, Collingwood, Carlton, North Carlon. I come from Belgium (Brussels). I work full time in Fitzroy. I am a woman who loves to meet new people. I am considerate and will always be respectful of house rules and conditions. I'm clean, quiet and easy going. Active person who is mostly outside. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like to find out more about me.
Hi there! My name is Remon, I'm Dutch and moved to Australia about 6 years ago. I work full time as a personal trainer in Fitzroy. Currently studying full time as well and hope to get into the paramedic course next year. In the free time I have left I like to play guitar and socialize out and about in Melboune. Hope to find a great "home" and create or be part of a great vibe.
I'm a young woman who isn't afraid to break out the vacuume out and help around the house , will share wash duties and keep good company . I'm very respectful and not into partying so won't bring back drunk people making noise and disturbing others . Very easy to live with as long as respect is mutual :) ** Looking for a house near a train station and only 1 flatmate preferably. ** I work in the city and study Human Resources, my background is psychology so I'm a people person.. I don't stay much at home and weekends I'm normally out too. usually when I'm not working I just enjoy chillin at home reading a book or enjoyng some music (I have a pretty cool headphone that's my best friend atm). I just want a nice home (not just a house) and I'll be here for at least 2 years.
ABOUT THE HOUSE This cosy and fresh single storey Carlton terrace gives the benefit of living in a workers cottage home, but with a very recently renovated, well lit and airy bathroom and kitchen. With a tram stop literally out the front of the house (the 1 and 8), and the 96 line nearby, it's a matter of minutes to get to Melbourne Uni, Lygon Street restaurants, the shops and gyms, and it doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get into the CBD. The beautiful Rathdowne Village is about a two minute walk away, with great Sunday brunch spots and very good coffee! There's also lots of cool pubs in the backstreets nearby for a brew. The house itself has all mod cons (except air conditioning, we just use fans in summer) with gas heating for winter. The house will not be furnished as we are now trying to fill it with 3 new people: one person Patricia, has already been confirmed and two more people need to be confirmed asap. ABOUT THE ROOM The smaller room is 2.3 by 2.9m (we like to affectionately call it the 'matchbox room') but it has many upsides: (1) A large window that looks out onto the foliage of a peach tree, (2) The natural light is always beautiful, (3) Because you can only really fit a double bed, bookshelf and clothes rack it forces you to associate your room with relaxation (as opposed to study)! It hasn't been an issue for previous renters as there are two very close by libraries, and we have a nice spacious lounge room to study in too, (4) It is very cosy, and (5) It is the closest room to the bathroom and separate from the other rooms of the house so has more privacy. The second room is a large room and has very good natural light, but is not the best for light sleepers as it is closest to the main road. It has not bothered everyone who has lived in that room but they were all quite good sleepers! Small room = $804 per month Large room = $878.50 per month If you're interested and would like to have a look at the place, get in touch asap and send through a message telling me a little about yourself, your interests, and the lifestyle you're seeking. We are wanting to fill these rooms asap so please get in touch as we want this to be confirmed by the 23rd August!
My name is Tash, I'm 28, I study urban design at Melbourne uni and work a few nights a week in hospo. I spend the rest of my time hanging with pals, reading, watching movies, getting out into nature, playing netball and straight up chilling. I like dogs, cats, wine, memes, bonding with housemates in doorways, cooking for other people, and laying in the sun. I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. Happy to go on the lease if that's what you need, and always have had really great relationships with housemates 🙂 Really keen to check out your place and see if I'd be a good fit!
Hi all!!!! I'm looking for a place to call HOME. I'm a ginger Spanish (not very common so I am EXOTIC LOL) guy studying Graphic Design in the CBD and working at the same time as a Interior Designer (if you need any help feel free to ask). I pretty chill, easygoing, who likes to have a chat at any time and if it is with a beer the better, clean and tidy. Any question feel free to ask!!! :)
This house is in the best location, tram 96 just 100 metres away and the 1,6 just 400 metres away. Perfect for students at Melbourne, RMIT or ACU. The lease is up on the 19th of Jan so we are looking for someone who can preferably stay the remaining duration of the lease. Unfortunately, the lease cannot be extended as the landlords will be renovating. The house is your average Carlton terrace house, with cute tiles in the kitchen and bathroom and a lot of character. We require bond and first months rent upfront. Also, the toilet is technically outside, just on the patio with in the laundry, all undercover. I have never had a problem with this, and neither have the other housemates, just a little quirky part of Carlton housing haha
I am a friendly, easy and outgoing person who loves to travel, experience different cultures, meet people and just enjoy the life. I live and study in Denmark, this is my second year of masters and for few months I will be doing a research project with RMIT. I will be working full-time so I am looking for a place to relax after work and also share a conversation over cup of tea or occasionally a glass of wine. Few facts about me: - I am vegetarian, however in Denmark I am living with two meat lovers and we have great veg-friendly dinners together! - I am passionate about sustainability and environment - I smile a lot - I am a combination of an introvert and extrovert - Addicted to peppermint tea - Love to run - Love the sunshine (thats why Melbourne is a great place to live right?)
