I'm Gill, I'm a British girl but I've been calling Melbourne home for 7 years now. I'm 36 and I work as a digital designer for MYER. I work 9-5, I spend a few evenings out during the week playing netball and rock climbing, and my weekends are spent catching up with friends or outdoors, hiking or camping. I’m not a massive partier, but I am always happy to have a couple of drinks down the pub or a few glasses of wine at home. At home I like to have a little personal time but mostly I love to relax on the sofa with a movie or a good chat with housemates (usually with wine!). I’m super clean and tidy.

I am friendly, tidy and sociable housemate and have lived in share houses for several years so well house trained. Super convenient room in a big house close to cbd, 10mins by bike from Fitzroy/Carlton/Brunswick. Trams to the city and St Kilda stop two blocks down, so super easy. The room comes furnished with a queen size bed, desk, and build-in cupboard for clothes storage. The bathroom is shared with two others, and downstairs we have a big living room with open kitchen. Also we have a small patio in the back, where you can enjoy a lovely coffee in the morning sun, and store your bike. Parking is available on the street but you will need to get a license. Rent is $820 a month, bills not included (depending on usage, airconditioning or heating), but on average about $60 a month total. If interested, I'm happy to pass on my camping gear and bike (Reid, 6 gears, including 2 locks) to you for a small price, as I won't be able to take them. Room will be available around the 20th of June - date is a little flexible yet but it will be someday that week.
Hello! I need to find 3 housemates to join me in a 4 bedroom, 2 storey Victorian era terrace house on Princes Street. It's in a great location, with everything you could need in walking distance - supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants, parks, Cinema Nova and the Carlton baths. About the place: - 4 bedrooms (one smaller room which I am currently in, two decent medium sized rooms and one enormous room - all of them big enough for queen or king sized bed and space to spare for a wardrobe and desk, etc) - Floor boards throughout except the kitchen and bathroom which are tiled - 1 shared bathroom with shower and loo - 1 lounge room - 1 small kitchen with electric oven and 4 burner gas stove - Under the staircase storage area - North facing courtyard for sun, hanging washing or growing plants (also has a small shed with laundry and extra outdoor loo) - On street parking available (parking permits cost $36 for the whole year) - NBN internet - 1 minute walk to hop on the 1 or 6 tram which will take you into the heart of the city in 13 minutes (route 250 and 251 buses are around the corner and tram 96 is about a 5 minute walk away)
Heya :) I'm Karol, originally from Brazil but have been living in Melbourne for about 4 years now. I work full-time as a Yoga & Meditation teacher and am always out and about with work and occasional social gatherings :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill out and recharge after long days where I could find some quiet time. I'd love to share the house with easy going, healthy, clean and respectful people who are not party animals but enjoy the eventual brunch, glass of wine and good conversations. Only looking for private rooms in non-smoking places, and preferably sharing with people of same age range (28-35) . If that's what you've got, please shoot me a message :)
I'm 26, originally from the USA but have been in Melbourne for just over a year (and no plans to leave anytime soon). I work in marketing/media as an editor for a design & creative company in the CBD (standard 9-to-5 hours). I keep pretty busy during the week with work (and usually a mid-week trivia night or dinner party). I spend my weekends with friends, going to events, or heading out of the city for a hike or a bike ride. I don't have much furniture/house stuff, but do have a few fun kitchen things. I also like music, podcasts, cooking, running (occasionally), and can keep plants alive. I'm a generally neat/clean person, and I've been living in Fitzroy for the past year in a sharehouse. Would love to find a place on the north side with friendly flatmates!
I'm a very cheerful girl, pacifist, creative, clean, tidy, respectful. I'll be in melbourne for a long time, so I'm looking for a house to share with wonderful people. I'm studying food science, so I enjoy cooking, and share some meal and a glass of wine. I'm also friendly with pets, especially with cats, if you have a cat I'll love her/him. I hope you can meet me to share more interesting things.
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni. ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the month long semester break which starts towards the end of June. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
Hello friends, We are an easy-going chill couple looking for a room in a nice home starting with late June - early July (flexible dates). In our late 20's, we are working/studying in the arts/media industry. We enjoy spending time with our flatmates sharing dinner, chilling in front of Netflix, chatting around a tea or coffee, go out in town when we have time for it, or playing board games at home, as well as respecting the privacy of others and having our time on our own. A bit more about us: I am Alexandra, 28 y-o, doing my second Master degree in Communication Design at Deakin Uni. As a designer, I'm pretty much into all things beautiful (Street Art, graphic design, architecture, photography, people and nature) and I like to keep a clean & pretty house. When I have time, I love painting or having fun photo shoots with friends (so plan ahead some picture time). Bao, my partner since 7 years, is a 29 y-o theatre artist who has toured the world with various shows. He was born in Paris, France, from Vietnamese parents. He is into art, tattoos, sports, craft beer and you'll often see him riding his bike. Two years ago we started to be vego-vegan, but it was never a problem living with omni. We’re multi-cultural, open-minded and responsible people. We pay rent and bills on time and know how to use a vacuum cleaner or a dish washer sponge. You: if you are in your late 20- early 30, with compatible interests, and feel we would be a good fit , just drop us a line and let's get one of those wonderful cuppa and get into details! Peace, love, empathy! Alex & Bao
Hey guys! Engineering student here, studying in England. I'll be moving to Melbourne in July as an exchange student for a semester (until November/December). Looking for a place preferably with other students/young professionals in their 20s, not too far from U of Melbourne. Lots of years of experience of house sharing. I'm very easy-going and clean, enjoy cooking, exercise & sport, music and going out, but also appreciate some peace and quiet (especially when it comes to studying). Looking for others with similar interests, that can balance work and play.
Hey dudes, I’m looking for a room end of Juney because our lease is up and Moonee Ponds isn’t gentrifying quick enough for my liking. I’m a part time study, part time worker, full time chiller kinda gal. Ideally looking around Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North (or further inner) given everything I do is north & east (study, volunteering, coffee). Really, my only prerequisites for a room is big enough to put my shit in with some lush natural light. Am hoping to find some chillers for housemates that enjoy a boogie just as much as a quiet shiraz. Let me know/tag ya rooms/tag ya friends/idm.

Hello my name is Mikaela and I'm 30 years old and have just moved down to from Sydney, for work. I work in marketing and brand management for kitchenware and homewares. I love to cook, watch documentaries, socialize, go on adventures and discover new places. I tend to also hit the gym/yoga a few times a week. I enjoy being able to bond with the people I live with but am also respectful of everyone's space and alone time (as I too need mine!). I consider myself to be very clean and tidy person and I usually look for someone with similar standards. I've flat shared since I was 17, so I come well trained! As I've just moved down from Sydney, I may have a friend sleeping over for the weekend every now and then (not too often but thought I should mention this), but will most likely be out and about if that happens! I also really enjoy to share a meal and a wine/tea with my house mates when possible.
