$400/week•20 year old woman and man
G'day! My name is Lylah, a 20 year old girl from Mitta Mitta and Albury NSW in Melbourne as a student. UPDATE/TDLR I am looking for a 6 month SOLO/SINGLE contract (I am doing an exchange ~June July - November next year) HOWEVER I may just extend to 12 months. COUPLES: Alternatively, there is very high potential I have an option for couples lease with my partner (12 mo rental history, SE Suburbs Melbourne, Part time Nursing full time Study) in a shared room OR at the very least another room on the property. He will be full time (12 month). ...... ABOUT ME I'm studying a Zoology-Arts Double degree at Monash University Clayton (first year 2025), but looking to be along the Frankston-line upper Peninsula as I work part-time with Marine Mammal Foundation, MOPA in Sandringham, Parks Vic, Surf-Life there and the local theatre companies. Always been busy! Not too much of a partier - love my drawing, animals + plants, tennis and books! Currently I live in Frankston in a share house with four other girls I met this year on campus, and we have been working super well - they are in nursing so will need their own places next year. In 2026, I hope to find a 6 month contract (subject to change to 12) as I have been offered an exchange opportunity as part of the Journalism aspect of my degree in for Semester two (June-July to November). Still trying to plan specifics, but most definitely can talk more on this line! I have 6 months rental history (Beechworth, Yackandandah and Mitta Mitta Australia), 4 of which was solo and 2 in co-ed of 5 people. This was whilst working full time at Koonamoo Wildlife Shelter/WIRES Rescue Driver. Cleanliness is super big for me in this light! Always keeping sanitised, vacuuming and clean kitchen given shared spaces and getting hands on and out for study and work. In 2024 I took a gap year of 12 months solo slow travelling Southeast Asia, then later Mediterranean Europe and North Africa, so I've been through rough, shared, farm, formal and temporary types of living situations, all of which make me a super reflexive shared-liver. I know communication is absolutely a must to make everything work! I will likely not have my car for 2026 as I have found public transport super manageable. Look foward to meeting you and feel free to shoot through any questions! ~ Lylah

$380/week•45 year old woman
I'm a 45-year-old woman who enjoys walking, singing, and true crime. I work permanent part-time (30 - 37 hours per week). I am gone Monday to Friday for 6 - 11 hours per day. I work as a domestic cleaner. I am contracted to work 30 hours per week, but I am often given more hours. That is why the hours vary. I put move-in date as the 17th of November, but after that is fine. I am currently renting alone, so I need to give 28 days' notice when I leave. I also put "six months" as an estimate. It may be longer than that. I value a quiet, clean space where my privacy is respected. I don't smoke, own pets, or have kids. I am also a non-drinker. I would prefer unfurnished, because I already have all my own furniture. If it's a share house, I would prefer the room to be unfurnished. I have put "share house" as an option, but it is unlikely that anything will be suitable for me. This is because I have lived alone for a total of 21 years. I am used to having a quiet place to come home to. I also don't own a television, so if a TV was on (often) it would annoy me. I have been contacted by a lot of people on here offering me share housing or rooming house accommodation which is very expensive, so I am not interested. To put it into perspective. I currently pay $310pw for a one-bedroom unit with no yard, but it has undercover (allocated) parking, a split system and communal washing lines. I have my own (full) kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Yes, I pay for utilities on top of this. But my bills are very low because I work away from home and I am excellent at conserving things. Some people are offering a rooming house or share house for $350pw (or more) which includes expenses. So, I would be paying more, but I would have much less privacy. Also, many of these places only have street parking. I also have my own furniture. I just added this information so people will understand why I think their accommodation is too expensive. I know that many people will pay that amount. But why would I want to pay more to have less privacy?

$450/week•30 year old woman
Hey, I’m Erin, 30, studying Community Services and looking for a calm, friendly place to call home in the south-east of Melbourne. I work full-time, live pretty quietly, and I’m tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I like the gym, going for walks, crafts, catching up for coffee with friends or going out to gigs and having a dance. I live with my 5-year-old Staffy mix, Bunny, who’s super sweet, loves people and cuddles and house-trained. She’s friendly with everyone, doesn’t bark or bite, and spends most of her time snoozing. She’s my pride and joy, so finding a safe, pet-friendly place for her is important to me. I'm looking to team up for a rental or find a room in a relaxed, respectful home with good vibes. South-east suburbs preferred. If this sounds like a fit, I’d love to chat! 😊

$300/week•23 year old man
I am an outgoing but organised person that likes a home to be a place where you can unwind and relax. I don’t mind guests and visitors, with consideration of noise past a reasonable time. Quite flexible in regards to who I live with, as long as you’re not dirty, a creep or really noisey. Would be great to live with someone that has similar interests. Looking for a place ASAP.
