Hey there! My name's Siobhan, I'm a full time high school teacher looking to move somewhere to make my commute less og a pain. I can cook and clean, love video games, respect the need for privacy and down time- but still love a cheeky wine and cheese. As is the nature with contract teaching, I have to wait until after the end of January for my contract to be secure for the year, and for me to then be comfortable with moving out. I have no qualms about pets, and am looking for a relaxed place to call my own.
Hey guys, Im looking for a place to move to in the next week, preferably on the south side of Brisbane. Im easy going, clean, and a gaming and digital entertainment enthusiast, looking to live with people around my age
Hi my name is Hayden and I am currently completing a traineeship in international logistics in Banyo. I work full time normal business hours so am only really home weeknights and some weekends. I am sociable and very easy going and I imagine I would be quite easy to live with. I enjoy a nice healthy lifestyle, socialising, going to sunshine coast, playing golf, gym and watching a fair few sports. I like having a clean and tidy household. I may be young although I don't party very often. Not much of a drinker and when I do drink it would be at a bar in the city with friends or something like that. Looking to move from my current residence in Hamilton sometime early April and would happy to move somewhere starting from 6 months - 1 year if possible.
Working full time and am looking to move a little closer to the city. Easy going, open minded, tidy. Don't mind a drink and a good chat but value time to myself.
Hi I’m Catarina, 22 years old and from Germany. I’m an open minded person and would love to meet new people !! I like to go to the beach and shopping on weekends, also sometimes to party :) but I’m also a very chilled person who love evenings with good talks, some snacks and Netflix! Back in Germany I have three dogs and miss them a lot, so if you have a pet it would be amazing and no problem! :) I’m looking for a room close to the inner city Brisbane and can’t pay more than 120$. I’m a backpacker at the moment and want to settle in Brisbane. I could move in around March
Hello! I'm currently a full time digital illustrator, however I am moving up to Brisbane (from Sydney) to resume full time study in February at Griffith Southbank QCA. As such, I'm looking to room in an apartment or sharehouse with easy access to Southbank. My only space requirements are somewhere to put my work computer that won't be in the way. I'm quiet and clean-- and while that's not much fun at parties, it does make me good at living with other like-minded introverts. Although I'm resuming study, I have many years of experience being a working professional and living with others in flats and sharehouses. I can provide references from previous happy housemates and evidence of rent being paid on time if you would like! Basically, I'm not new to this. I'd preferably like to move in to an already-established furnished place, however I am open to teaming up and starting a fresh new place as well! I do have some of my own furniture in storage, so if you want to team up to find a new space and furnish it ourselves, I can contribute two couches, a fridge, some kitchen chairs and some kitchenware to that. (As well as my own bedroom furniture.) As for what I look for in a place, I'm definitely one to prioritise compatibility with housemates over the house or flat itself. That isn't to say we have to be best friends, and I definitely don't want to hang out 24/7 (downtime is important!), but I want to actually like and know who I'm living with. So I'm most interested in a situation with people who want to live together as a community and talk to each other over dinner from time to time, rather than being say three different people who live side by side as complete strangers. I like cooking and my favourite dishes to cook are curry and stir fry! But I don't want to end up being the "house mum" who cooks every night of the week-- a shared workload between housemates is the ideal! In my opinion, anyway. If you aren't interested in that sort of arrangement and just want to do your own thing, I completely respect that, but please contact someone else. I'm fine with animals, though I've grown up with cats and love them the best :). My hobbies (when I'm not drawing) are reading, writing, going to the movies, and pilates! Gotta keep that core strength up. I also have my own Netflix account and love a good movie from time to time-- anything from arthouse to blockbuster popcorn flicks. My favourite is Star Wars, though. Nerd pride :). I also have a car and am more than happy to drive non-car-owning flatmates around, but I do need a space to park it, even if it's just on the street. I'm also very handy around the house and can build/fix most (non-electronic) things, and I'm good at sewing and fixing up clothes, but I am bad with bugs and spiders. Look forward to hearing from you! Peace :).
Hey everyone I’m Kim. I’m a disability support worker and I’m studying social work at UQ. Both of these things keep me super busy so I’m not really home much. I’m great to live with because I’m clean and tidy, respectful of other people’s space, I love to cook and most importantly always pay bills and rent on time. My hobbies include travelling, yoga, running, reading, watching movies, cooking, and going to farmers markets. I’m looking for a relaxed, drama-free flat share with friendly people :)
I work in the morning at the airport and study or train rest of the day.i study Marketing full time at Qut. I do not smoke. easy going I am usually travel to the coast during the weekend
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
HI There. I'm currently looking for a room to rent over the Northside :) At the moment I'm working full time in the CBD so I'll be out of the house during the week. On the weekends I like to socialise with friends and get out as much as I can but equally enjoy a chilled night in with Netflix, good food and a glass of wine. I consider myself to be a tidy person and have no problems assisting with household chores. More than happy to answer more questions if you want to contact me :) Thanks!
Hi im Jarret, im a science student at QUT who has been working through the uni holidays. I'd like to move somewhere that is in a relatively convenient location, and where i can get a long with the roommates. Im a mixed bag of interests; i like to go to gigs of local bands, play boardgames, and study other interests outside of uni. Im quite clean and quiet so common areas won't be an issue.
Super chill, respectful and clean. Easy to live with. Self employed horse physio, photog/artist, muso just living the dream! Have my shit together, looking to slide into a chilled household. Need space for my queen size bedroom set up, plus a couple desks, my electronic drum kit and 2 motorbikes. Love Art, music, good vibes, animals, sportsball. Gigs/couple drinks on weekends. Allergic to childish behaviour and drama of any kind. If your a legend, hit me up!
Healthy, rarely home (Leave early in morning and return after dark most week days), quiet but also social. Work part time Brisbane city mon-fri and at a gym in west End and study full time outside of this. Week days are full of work, training for representative volleyball and studying so love hanging out and enjoying weekends to its full potential. :) I’m very clean and like living in a household where the social areas are kept clear and clean, have some appliances (washing machine, microwave) if needed otherwise just have bedroom furtiture.
Hi guys I’m working as a building manager in the Valley so looking to move out with someone a bit closer. I’m into my sports, video games and don’t mind a drink o the weekends. Always up for a chat but at the same time can respect your space. I’m ideally looking to team up with a like minded person to find a place to move into. Hit me up if this sounds like you!
Happy, friendly person who is neat and considerate, bit of a homebody, but do enjoy getting out and about. Love reading, watching movies, clean living, going for walks in nature and preparing good food. Respecting of privacy and space. Would be great to make friends with roomies with similar ages and interests.
I am a longhaul flight attendant looking at moving from interstate to brisbane. I am searching for a studio, granny flat or even a room that is fully furnished inclusive of all utility bills and fast speed internet. Ideally would like to live near brisbane airport. I can go further as I have a car. I will also require parking space. I am super tidy and organised. I am friendly natured and am young at heart. I work alot, which means I am never home. If I am home, i would be sleeping or resting. I am very respectful of people's things when sharing. I like to have a good laugh or chat when I am not jetlagged. Let me know if you have anything that will suit my needs. Thanks for reading. Cheers!
I am moving to Brisbane from Lismore as I have just found fulltime work as an exercise physiologist. I am very clean and tidy and enjoy watching Netflix and going to the gym in my spare time. I enjoy my alone time but am always happy to have dinner with other roommates or drinks on the occasion. I also have a three year old mini cavooodle who doesn't drop any hair and gets along with people and other dogs.
