I'm a 23 year old student from England who has just begun a PhD at Monash University, studying meteorites. I'm looking for somewhere relatively near the university, with friendly people who don't mind helping me out a little bit during my first few months in Australia. I enjoy video games, music, art, and baking.
I am an easy going artist who is a bit of a foodie, neat and tidy and a reliable rent payer. Happy and witty, intelligent and creative, I'm into DIY and gardening and do a mean chicken in the weber! I am not a party animal but into red wine and music. I am studying and working part time. I am needing accommodation closer to where I will be studying, and for about 6 months, maybe more. I am happy to answer any questions so please feel free to contact me. :)

Hello, my name's Josh! I've been couch surfing in Melbourne for a month after moving interstate from NSW and would really like to settle down and find a permanent home. I'm a first year science student studying full time at Monash Uni. I'm a friendly, easygoing, sociable guy but am also respectful of others' privacy and while I'm up for a chat I also enjoy some downtime like anyone else. I realise the responsibilities involved in living with others and am a very clean, tidy and reliable person, contributing my fair share to ensuring the place is in good condition and rent is paid on time. Lover of all animals and would be totally down to live with pets of any kind. Am open to living with any and all kinds of people but would prefer to live with other students or people around my age. As I'll have uni nearly everyday it's quite important that public transport is nearby, and it would be especially amazing if I could find a place close to the Clayton campus. Also open to start/join a group of others looking for housing - send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or if you have a room available and thanks!
Hi, I'm Marla, I'm a science student and a trans woman. I love to cook (and I'm not too bad at it) and I think good communication is the best thing in a house. Whether housemates are social or private, neat or messy, making sure we can communicate clearly and openly about the house means things can always be settled and run smoothly without any bitterness, stress or inconvenience. When I'm not studying, I like women's sports, card games and watching shows with friends.
The place is very clean and tidy. There is a cleaner who comes every two weeks, which is included in the rent. 10 min walk to Clayton to Station, 10 min bus ride to Monash University, 5 min walk to Coles and gym. The room is shared between two that's why it's very cheap, considering bills and Wi-Fi, furnished with king size bed and wardrobe and cleaning is included with rent. Nevertheless, the room is very big and has a border in the middle, therefore there is some privacy. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
! My name is Luis Escobar. I´m from Mexico and im doing a master at monash uni. My master is on environmental management and sustainability. I am neat and tidy and love movies and games. Im kind of a gamer my self and love to meet new people. I am outgoing and responsible. My core values are friendship, respect and honor. I speak a little bit of German and Japanese. I am here for one year so my stay would be for that time.
Hey there! Looking to get a couple of people into the spare rooms in the house! I'm a down to earth uni student studying engineering at Swinburne looking for some fun people to move in! I am currently living with my partner who is also a uni student at Monash. I love to travel and I absolutely love to cook and eat! I can totally cook up a storm! I don't mind the occasional party or if you like having friends over or if you're quiet that is cool too! I enjoy having people around but also enjoy some quiet time for study. I work part time so I'm practically always out of the house except for evenings! There's a communal lounge room, dining room and laundry which you are welcome to use. Also, heaps of on site parking, walking distance to the station and not far from Monash which is great if you're like me and slept in and have possibly missed half of your class already! There's furniture in the place already and bills are included so all you have to do is bring yourself. We have a little kitty named Bob and he's a friendly little munchkin! He is happy to keep away or play with you! He has a space outside away from humans so it shouldn't create a problem! I'm happy to be friends if that is what you want or totally stay out of your way! If you want a friendship then here I am, I'll greet you with open arms and wine, possibly cheese also! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me :) **Also internet is included, it won't allow me to adjust the listing to say included!**
I'm Vaany (V) from Singapore. Looking for a lovely place to stay as I commence my Masters in uni. I'm easy to live with as I am matured, understanding and respectable to the environment I live in and to the people I live with. Nursing school is pretty overwhelming by itself. As such, most of the time, I will be in my room, with my books - 'Cool nerd alert'. I love to bake as a form of stress relieve only when I have the time. I also enjoy date/game nights with my housemates (if mutual), at home with food and laughter - to build cohesion.
I'm a student from Perth doing a 2 year course near Moorabbin, originally from Singapore but have been living in Perth for the last 8 years. I am pretty busy with my full-time classes Monday-Friday, but in my free time I like to kick back with a few casual drinks and Netflix or gaming on my PS4. I'm not a party animal, but do enjoy checking out good eating spots and live jazz or blues bars. I'm hoping to find accommodation in a small apartment or house with females. Looking for a quiet space, therefore 1-2 flatmates would be ideal.
I'm a Mexican PhD student (physics) coming to Monash Uni, Clayton campus. I'm quite chilled but like to party every now and then, I also enjoy learning from other people's cultures, customs and insights. I like to keep my place and stuff clean and ordered (with only exception of my desk, which is usually a mess but clean nevertheless). My hobbies include running, weight training, guitar playing and watching films. I drink moderately, rarely smoke and don't do hardcore drugs. I'm straight but LGBT+ friendly. I'm also pet friendly and particularly enjoy playing with dogs or taking them out for a run.
Hi! I am originally from Tahiti, so I am French. :-) I have been living in Melbourne for 2 years now (previoulsy on a Working Holiday Visa). Before that, I was living on my own in Paris for 11 years. Since I came to Australia, I've always been in houseshares so far and my ex-housemates can tell you how great I am: I am toilet trained! Haha Seriously I am clean, respectful, quiet at times, but social most of the time. I am up for a glass of wine and a chat with my future housemate(s) anytime. I am into movies, tv series, outdoor activities, etc. I love cooking, so if you can share some recipes with me, that's even better! I just started studying at Monash University Clayton. This is the reason why I am moving out of South Morang. FYI: I am not working yet, but I will look for a part-time job as soon as everything else is settled. Do not worry though. I have enough savings to pay my share of the rent for a while even without working. I could go on and on with my description, but it's best to meet in person and ask whatever else you want/need to know. Looking forward to hear from my potential future housemate(s) soon. Cheers!
Note: The room has just been taken. It will be available again on 1 May 2017. Quiet and private two bedroom unit. 5 minutes walking distance to Westall train station and bus stops. Close to shops, clayton road, Monash uni, chadstone shopping centre, Springvale, Glen Waverley and Southland shopping centre. Fully furnished with one year old brand new double bed and furnitures.
