Quite new apartment with hard wood floors which is only 1 min walk from Corinda train station (only 22 mins travel time to Central Station) and 2 min walk to Coles. Its really central to Corinda shops and resturants within walking distance. Its close to the rail line and Oxley road which is handy but also somehow magically quiet inside (pretty sure at least one wizard was involved) if you were concerned about noise. Your room has its own balcony and you'll have sole use of your own bathroom (with bath and shower) as well as sole use of the upstairs toilet. The apartment has ducted air con and a large outside deck and you'll just need furniture for your own room which is unfurnished. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. Internet, Netflix and Crunchyroll are free and the only bill not included is power which is split 3 ways.
You'll find that if you have me as a neighbour, I'm thoughtful, quiet, considerate, clean, tidy, with wholesome values, who doesn't drink alcohol or smoke. I'm honest and trustworthy and enjoy a friendly chat. For work, I'm a full-time primary school teacher.
Naomi is a full time student at UQ - she loves languages. Brian is a factory worker on a working holiday from Hong Kong. Both of us love going to the movies, festivals or eat street. We're very easy going and fairly quiet. Probably wouldn't notice us if we lived in the same place - except when we're in the kitchen. Hope to find the right place soon.
Casual chef starting uni this year, Looking for a place that is close to the city and with a good group of people who don't mind being social like a clean and comfortable home. Must be okay with having people occasionally come over. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with, love to cook so a decent kitchen is sort after. I prefer apartments and am willing to adjust my budget to suit a decent location and home.
Hello there! I am considerate and respectful of others I live with including their property. I love to be in a neat environment. Tend to keep to myself but not antisocial by any means. I am really cool and get along quickly. I have really good history with previous leases and can provide references as well. Apart from that I am a graphic designer but here for studies and work in the carpentry industry. Quite active guy and lives a healthy life.
Gday, I am a sporty fellow who loves a bit of cooking and gaming. I am fairly quiet and respect others space. I work casually at toowong village and would love to move into a house with preferably other guys around that area.
I'm friendly and easy to get along with, respect others privacy, like a clean house and enjoy the occasional drink or two with dinner. I would like to live with relatively social housemates as I'm always up for making new friends. I am also looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I am also pretty keen on teaming up with a few people to find somewhere new. ps. a/c is desirable :)
Hey, I'm Maddy! I'm 21 and recently moved from Sydney & have been in Brisbane for almost 6 months. I am currently working part time and studying at tafe. I am looking to finish my tafe course then re-evaluate whether I start my apprenticeship here or back home in Sydney - hence the short preferred stay period. I, unfortunately, haven't made many mates since the big move, so I am looking for a sociable household with a couple of cool people! I enjoy my living areas always being clean and tidy. I do have my downtime, but always up for a chat & a beer! I am friendly, sociable, although a very busy individual, always out and about working, travelling or adventuring. You won't find me in the house lazing around often! When I have a weekend off, I love to surf, play paintball & AFL and hit the gym as often as I can. Often you'd find me at gigs and festivals or out and about at any music event I can find! (Bonus points for triple j lovers) I should include that I am a dog lover, although do not own one (yet!).
Amazing apartment on the 3rd level, about 600m walk to Sherwood or Corinda train station, less than 100m to bus stops in multiple directions. There’s a Woolworths, Coles, restaurants and local pubs a 2 minutes walk away. The rent includes electricity, unlimited internet and water. We do have to pay for hot water as it’s gas, which is about $130 a quarter (total) so you can either opt to add that onto your rent weekly or we can split it. The room has ducted air conditioning, has its own balcony and bathroom. The room goes out into the lounge room but there is a sliding door to keep it an entire separate area of the apartment. The lounge room is spacious and everything except for your room is furnished (I.e tv, washing machine, couch). The building also has a communal area downstairs with large barbecues and AstroTurf
