I'm looking for an honest, trustworthy, clean, reliable professional to share a Modern Townhouse in the Heart Of Cooks Hill. Room available is large with Built-Ins and an optional Double Bed. Place also has a large bathroom with separate bath/ shower, study, open plan living, 2nd toilet, enclosed courtyard and off street parking. Located just 5 minutes walk from Darby Street Restaurants, Aldi + Marketown Shopping Centre + a 10 minute walk to Bar Beach and Honeysuckle Rent is $230 plus Bond and Half Expenses. If you're interested in taking a look, please tell me a bit about you and we can arrange an inspection 😊 No Couples Thanks
Air-conditioned room in Cooks Hill. Perfect for summer (3.20 x 2.55 m). Just two blocks from the centre of Darby St (near the Oriental Hotel). The room is furnished with a near new king-single bed, linen,, and a desk. It has built-in robes so all you need to bring is yourself. The room is in a two storey townhouse with ducted air-conditioning throughout and everything required for the house has been provided. There’s a garage for lots of storage too (no cars though, but there’s visitor parking). The house is extremely well looked after too, I get a cleaner in regularly so you don’t have to worry about taking turns to do the bathrooms, etc. Rent excludes bills, and a bond is required.
**Edit: The room availability date is loosely mid-late September Super central location in Cooks Hill. A part of a quiet little development, we're in a two storey town house and just a short walk to Newcastle CBD, Newcastle University City Campus, Darby Street and restaurants, and a stones throw to a few of towns best watering holes. Bills are included in the rent - water, electricity, gas AND internet; NBN, 70+mpbs (just in case that stuff matters to you - because it does to us haha). There's also a huge offset smoker if you're a fan of American style barbecue at all... Large living space, 1.5 bathrooms, decent yard, gas water heating and gas kitchen. Nice little yard; awesome in summer Honestly, it's a pretty great little place. The room isn't huge; fits a Queen and a couple of chests of drawers easily enough though. Personally the location and the rest of the house more than makes up for the size.
Stand-alone 3 bedroom home with a massive room with wardrobe, laundry has a 2nd toilet which acts like an ensuite to the bedroom. 1km walk to Bar Beach and Merewether Beach, short walk to Coles, Aldi and Market town. Close to Darby Street and pretty much everything. Clean tidy older style home, very relaxed and easy going home, with a nice yard and veggie garden. Fully furnished house with a comfy couch and Netflix on the TV, the bedroom has the wardrobe and a bookcase (if needed). Train regularly and would be great to have a training partner. $190 all inclusive of bills and unlimited NBN internet, help with shared household duties is expected.
This newly renovated apartment is located in the heart of Cooks Hill. It's a 1 minute walk to Welsh Blacks, 2 minutes to the Commonwealth Hotel and 5 minutes to Darby St. The small apartment complex is ideal as it's safe, quiet and all the neighbors are incredibly friendly. There's an off-street car park that you will have full access of too. The house comes fully furnished and is very comfortable. The room itself is furnished with a double bed, bedside table and a stand alone clothes rack, however if you have your own bedroom suite the bedroom can come unfurnished. Bedrooms have new carpet and the kitchen is functional, neat and tidy with an internal laundry.
Hi there! My name is Bronte and I am looking for a new place to call home in central Newcastle. I work full time in media and consider myself a very sociable person outside of working hours. I love wine (I used to make it!) as well as good food and love meeting new people. I am very respectful of others space and am very sure to clean up after myself. If you think I would fit into your household environment please don't hesitate to contact me! I hope to hear from you!
I'm not only funny and will care about my future housemate a whole bunch, I have this thing with clean kitchens and bathrooms. I work and study in hospitality and generally do 5 night shifts a week. However, on the precious nights off I do get, I like to have a few drinks (maybe a bottle of wine). And on mornings where I don't snooze my alarm 500 times, I like going to yoga or for a nice walk. Ideally looking to live with one other person who has good music taste, eats good food, and is an all rounded good person. I moved back in with my family about 6 months ago to save some dollars, but I need my independence back (help me)!
Hello there, we are two broke girls (not actually broke, we're employed) searching for a team-up with another female who is employed and willing to sign a lease with us. We are strict with what area we are searching for. We like a good night out but we also like a good night in. We both work part-time to full-time hours and just need somebody who is lovely, relaxed and tidy and willing to team up with us on a three bedroom house. Please no couples.
I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff

Hey I am looking for a place for after I graduate in November. I am an Engineering student currently working in Beresfield whilst finishing off my FYP. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time, I also enjoy cooking. I often get up quite early so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
Hello! I'm 19 yo professional and am pretty tidy, quiet and like my own space but I would like to have friends over for dinners/drinks etc. I also shift between Newcastle and Byron, so I probably won't be home for a few weeks at a time. I enjoy going out to gigs when not at work. I also enjoy drinking beer and go to the gym when I can be bothered to! I have a 5 star rating on Uber too!!!
Hi, 32yr old professional working full time, enjoy weekends getting out an about in the day and catching up w friends for dinner/drinks at night but not looking for party house.
My name is Ashley and I am a 27 year old female from Las Vegas. I have lived in Australia for 6 years and call this place home. I am friendly, tidy, and organised. I respect others and expect to have respect in return. I love to meet new people, learn about new cultures, learn new languages, travel and explore the world. I like company but I also like to have my personal space and respect the personal space of others. I like to listen to music, dance, watch movies, cook, work out, and I love to be around people with a sense of humour. I love animals, but prefer to live in a home without any as I really appreciate my sleep. haha. Im very easy going, and approachable- not difficult to live with! :P I like to occasionally put my heels on and hit the dance floor with friends or have a party- but not on a weekly basis..more like once every month or less, so I would prefer to move into a 'non-party' home. I also don't smoke so I would prefer a 'non-smoking' home. :)
Both very neat, friendly and easygoing! I'm a 3rd year physio student, my partner Ben is visiting on a working holiday visa. we are looking for somewhere to stay for October and November. We are originally from Whistler, Canada, I enjoy surfing, we both like to cook, be active, but also chill out and have a drink :)
I work in a beauty salon during the week and I spend my weekends with friends & family. My interests include op shopping, art, fitness, cooking & eating out. I am clean & tidy & understand how to live in a share house environment. I am very easy to get along with. I look forward to hearing from you! xx
I work full time in construction and study st the same time. I am a third year construction management student. I am always out of the house from 9-5 each day and on weekends I normally study and go out for the occasional drink
