Hi! I'm Athena 👋✨ Here's a little about me - have a read, and if you feel drawn to connect, I'd love to chat. ✨ WHO I AM ✨ ~ Athena ✨ she/they, just turned 32 ~ Queer with a neurodivergent magic brain (ADHD) ✨ ~ Experienced with shared houses in Sydney, London, and Seattle - always really positive experiences ~ Work full-time from home helping small creative businesses (photographers/designers) implement ethical Ai. I like working in my room or cafes, so note I won't be constantly in a shared space 🙏🏻 ✨ MOVE IN DATE ✨ I’m currently living solo on Sydney's south coast where I grew up 🌊 I’m moving to Melbourne permanently after years of feeling it’s where I want to settle. The timing of my life has finally aligned to move down on September 22nd ✨ And about my move-in date: I really can't move in until September 22nd, which I know is still a few weeks away. Please consider if this work for you before you message me. Happy to pay bond immediately upon confirmation, but please know I won't be starting weekly payments until September 22nd. ✨ MY BUDGET ✨ I'm open to lots of different dynamics - housemates, sub-letting, 1 room, 2 rooms. I have a very flexible budget, so here is a rough budget for different options: ~ $450+ for whole properties/studio/granny flat/sub-letting an entire place ~ $380-$450 for 2 rooms in share house with private bathroom ~ $350-$380 for room in share house with private bathroom ~ $250-$300 for room in share house with shared bathroom ✨ LENGTH OF COMMITMENT ✨ I need minimum 3 months, but would ideally love to commit to 12-months for stability and to invest in our housemate relationship. I am open to short-term arrangements (minimum 2-3 months) if that's what works, as I genuinely need somewhere from September 22nd. So if you can only offer interim housing while I find my forever Melbourne home, that could work too. ✨ WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN HOUSEMATES ✨ Communication + Connection: I value respectful, kind people who share my core values of integrity, honesty, and secure communication 🙏🏻 I appreciate directness - let's address small household things openly rather than letting them fester. I'm considerate, honest, and open, and I value feedback to help our home feel well-functioning and warm. I'd love genuine friendship with housemates and for our home to feel like chosen family. I'll remember what matters to you and find ways to celebrate you ❤️✨ Cleanliness: I genuinely enjoy cleaning and keeping spaces nice, especially shared areas. I believe maintaining cleanliness and organization shows respect and creates harmony in our home. Social Balance: I'm bubbly and outgoing but very introverted when recharging - I need alone time in my room to regulate and rest. I love deep connections and good chats in common areas, but when I'm low on 'spoons' (social capacity), I'll be honest about needing space. You can trust that when I'm engaging, I genuinely want to be 🥰 It's crucial that housemates respect my alone time, and I'll absolutely respect your needs too 🙏🏻 ✨ ROOM + SPACE NEEDS ✨ Since I work from home, I'm REALLY home when I'm home. I prefer working in my room rather than common areas, so I need space for a desk/chair. If the room isn't large enough, I'd love to discuss working in a common area and how that fits with your household flow. I rarely take calls and use headphones for music/audiobooks, so I'm not disruptive, and you don’t need to worry about disrupting me as you go about your day. IMPORTANT - Natural light is really essential for my mental health. I struggle in dark homes without direct sunlight. Thankfully I'm moving during spring/summer when days are longer, but I'd really appreciate honesty about winter light levels too ❤️🙏🏻 This is so important to me that if I realise there’s isn’t a natural light come May, June next year, I would genuinely have to leave and find somewhere else. So I’d really value you to be honest up front with me ☀️ ✨ LET'S CONNECT ✨ I'm in Sydney until the move and would need to meet via FaceTime. I know it's not ideal, but I trust my gut - if our connection feels right, I'm happy to commit and transfer the bond without seeing the space in person. I would love to get to know you and see if I'd be a good fit for your home 🤍 Feel free to message/text and we can arrange a call.

Hey im Jordan, I am looking for a room to rent but will also need a car park as I drive out of the city to work my main job. I work full time as a Landscaper and work a second job detailing trucks over weekends. Im a quiet person that enjoys my own space but always up to hang out or have a good old chat. I like to keep things clean, tidy and organised. In my spare time im usually on my computer 3D modelling, gaming, watching shows or movies. Playing guitar, creating music or just relaxing. My budget max is $400 so anything under that will work great for me.
