Hey, I’m Rachel, I’m relocating for a min of 6months to an awesome little cottage just off Halifax St in the city near hurtle square, and looking for a roomie that would be suitable to join me. I will get photos of the place/room available in question as soon as the current tenants move out in a fortnight, but wanted to put the feelers out there now. This is also a private rental through a friend, who is the landlord, so not advertised online, meaning less hoops to jump through. But a little bit about the place; it's a 1880's semi detached cottage with 2 large bedrooms, the room available is quite large and has some available shelving but plenty of room for wardrobe or clothes racks. The property has a recently renovated; lounge, kitchen, european laundry, bathroom and courtyard which fully opens out to make a great entertaining space.....summer is coming just sayin' 2 on street carpark permits available on a quiet street approx $30p.a. The rent is $430 a week rent not incl. bills. The house has solar panels and battery (so if we are power savvy, we have the potential to make some cash back from the power company). Bills are approx less than $400 per quarter. So all in all roughly $240 a week with bills but thats leaving plenty of wiggle room I’m searching for a young professional that would suit this space and gels with me. The main parts of the house will already be furnished, so it will just be your bedroom and we can work through whatever else need as a team. I 100% believe having a safe & comfortable space to come to home to after a long day is really important. A little bit about me, I love meeting new people and am very social, although incredibly adaptable with different personalities and very respectful of others space and time. I work full-time as an Business Development Manager which involves a considerable amount of travel and can be really busy/long days at times, so I enjoy just coming home and winding down. I also like to stay fit and train early morning 5-6 days a week - which means I generally go to bed around 9/9:30 Sunday - Thursday (sounds totally boring I know) I do try make up for it on the weekends by catching up with friends and I also enjoy a night out for good food and drinks and a boogie from time to time.
