Hi I'm Jade, 26 and I'm ideally looking for a room in the eastern kind of area although I am pretty open as long as public transport is easily available. I'm originally from Essex, UK and here on a working holiday visa. I have not long completed my regional work (it was awful) and need a cute and comfy place to call home to enjoy my second year while I try to figure out a way to stay here forever. I will be looking to move in at the end of December/beginning of January when I get back to Sydney after a long holiday back to the rainy and freezing cold UK. Seriously though why am I going in December?! I'm currently working full-time in the CBD in administration and pretty much every day will meet with friends or attempt the gym straight from work. I'm a clean and organised (some might say a little obsessive) non smoker, part time drinker here to make friends as well as house mates. Peace. ✌🏼️
My job is city based, I work in the Agricultural industry and semi new to Sydney (lived in Darling Point for a year before returning to Victoria for work). Generally I leave home around 7am (or earlier) and return after 7pm. I've lived in shared housing for most of my adult life so I'm well versed to respect of flatmates, property, noise and privacy. More often than not I'm out 1-2 nights per week. Week days tend to roll into weekends with social engagements, adventures and activities. It is enjoyable to live with well balanced and transparent people, in a relaxed and quiet home. And I enjoy a good conversation about world events, history and places to travel. I'm far from a gym junkie however I do like to exercise 4-5 times per week. After years of representative sports I'm now down to low impact exercise being either a swim, bike ride, kayaking or yoga. I can cook and happy to share my delights when they are a success. I do enjoy reading the papers of a weekend I don't come with any pets, however I come with a road bike that is housed inside.
Friendly young professional who is relocating to Sydney for a work opportunity. Ideally looking for a long term arrangement with a private room as close to the Sydney CBD as possible. I will be putting in some long hours so the less travel time the better. For an early 20s guy I am fairly domesticated! So I always clean up after myself. I live an active lifestyle and in the warmer months I become an avid surfer.
(Please excuse the poor photos) The best aspects of this place are the views to the city/harbour, the amazing location being a short walk to Edgecliff/Kings Cross stations and the all day parking. The apartment is the top floor of three apartments but has an outdoor area at the back. Given it is an older building it is a HUGE apartment with a dinning area & living area so there's lots of room.
my name is Joakim, 25 from Sweden, in the week i work alot and after work i like to hit the gym. in the weekend im spending alot of time with my friends... other then that. im easy going really chilled and easy to talk to.
My home is a decent sized house that is well set up for a comfortable standard of living. It's an old house with big rooms, lots of natural light, a garden and a large patio. The room to rent is large, light and furnished with BIR, bed and desk (desk can be moved if you don't need it). It opens out onto the patio and has a full bath + shower ensuite. There is a garage spot available if you have a car. Beyond the share room, we have 2 spare bedrooms for guests and a second living room so one of us can watch TV while the other has guests over. I collect art and enjoy cooking - so host casual dinners/BBQs. Invariably people comment that the house is very welcoming, with interest added by the art works. Its not posh but it does have style! The location is superb - 5 minutes to Edgecliffe station, Double Bay ferry and Double Bay village. The rent includes wifi and weekly cleaners - other bills to be split.
A beautiful and spacious MAIN bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment available immediately!! It features a shared separate toilet and bathroom (with huge bath). The room also comes with a remote lockup garage in the heart of Darling Point. Plenty of wardrobe space and two amazing housemates that come with!! Beautiful Sydney Harbour views from the balcony! Room will come unfurnished and the rest of the apartment partly furnished. 1 minutes walk to Rushcutters Park, 10 minutes walk to Edgecliff, 5 minutes walk to Darling Point wharf and McKell Park. Lease ends the 20th of February 2016 which is most likely to be extended.
Hi, I'm 31 years old. Down to earth, clean, neat and tidy. Currently reside in Vaucluse but looking to move to a new place as my roomies (couple) are looking to have their own place. I work full time in the CBD and sometimes on the weekend in Bondi Junction. I'm a quiet, relaxed person. I have a lounge and dinning room suite, kitchen appliances, washing machine and much more. I require a garage for my car. I don't like to party, like to have a glass of wine here and there and go out for dinners with friends. I'm easy going, trust worthy and good company. I love a clean and tidy apartment and looking for a place to call home. I do have a little dog also, her name is Indi so somewhere suitable for a small dog. She is tiny, toilet trained and very timid. Loves people, doesn't bark and is very well behaved. I am only interested in the areas I've stated as per my profile, please. Thanks
Hi, I'm Supriya. I'm a civil engineer in my twenties, working full time in the city in the financial services. I'm friendly, easy going and respectful of others. On weekends I spend time catching up with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors. I'm looking for easy going, sociable and considerate people who take pride in their home and keep it clean and tidy.
Professional/Student that takes pride in her space. I have a design background and work for a furniture company, which enables perks. I'm clean and considerate. Looking for a long-term arrangement. Willing to give 2-month bond for the right space.
We are a group of 5 media students looking for a longterm house in Feb next year. We need it to be close to the city so no further then Rozelle and the northern beaches are a no go
This large apartment in Darling Point boasts elevated water, city, park and neighbourhood views. In one of Sydney's Eastern suburbs most exclusive locations this apartment offers 3 bedrooms and large living, television and dining areas. There are no common walls as the apartment takes up the entire floor and it is a small block of three apartments. With two entrances, the back onto a small courtyard, the apartment feels more like a house. A great location! Walk to Edgecliff station and 5 minutes to the CBD. Close to shopping centres and the beautiful water front Yarranabbe park just across the road.
Hi my name is Trudy, I have 2 rooms in a garden duplex in Darling Point . Transport at door. 8 mins to train station.I am a nurse doing night shifts. Looking for a mature, quiet person. No bond but 2 week rent up front. If you want both rooms $380
Alice and I met in a bakery in Paris while she was carefully deciding between a pain au chocolate or an almond crossiant as her morning pastry of choice. I bought her both. We fell in love. We return to the same bakery every year on our anniversary. Okay, that's a lie but it sounds more interesting than saying we met (on Tinder) whilst Alice was working in London, I got a new job and am now moving from London to Sydney. I work in M&A so will be living the corporate dream during the week but am looking forward to trying not to drown at the beach, drinking flat whites by the dozen and exploring Sydney's surrounds on the weekends. Alice is moving from Queensland and will also be out and about during the week. Five reasons why living with us would be a hoot 1. We know how to put a bin out, replace a toilet roll and change a light bulb (it may take two of us). 2. Alice says I poach eggs almost always perfectly and we both love a themed dinner party. 3. Alice won most improved at her year 7 sports day and is always keen to fill in on whatever mixed sporting team takes your fancy. 4. Alice says her days of raving in Berghain are over but we both enjoy a good bottle of wine that turns into a negroni on the weekends. 5. We are ace at getting to airports on time and provide a diligent chauffeur service if ever needed. I am looking forward to throwing some shrimps on the barbie, necking some fosters and having every meal with a side of Vegemite.
28 year old lawyer originally from New Zealand, looking for a place hopefully near the water, with people who are tidy, active & sociable, but also respectful of other's space. Would love to hear from you.
Hi I'm a friendly, easy going, reliable NZer. Looking for a large room that can accomodate a queen bed and bedside cabinets etc, and has a built-in wardrobe. Would consider a room with ensuite. Work full time during normal business days/hours for a small software company. In my spare time I like to surf, gym, or get out of the city for hikes or weekends away. Respectful of others, and enjoy being healthy. Non-smoker. The soonest I can move in is 2 weeks, as I'd like to give my current flatmate a decent notice period. I'm looking for a peaceful place on a quiet street away from the noise of traffic. Preferably away from any main or busy roads. A dishwashing machine would be ideal. Need space for my bicycle and surfboard. Bonus if there is a garage
30 yr old female. I am moving to Sydney, Australia in mid January from Austin, TX. I will be working full time Monday - Friday normal working hours. I have a small dog.
