Our house is in a very safe neighbourhood, about 6 minutes walking distance from shops, Heidelberg Station, Austin Hospital and 3 buses going to Eltham, Glenroy, Doncaster, and La Trobe University. This property is ideal if you work in CBD or are a student of Melbourne Uni or RMIT or La Trobe Uni. It’s just about 20 minutes to CBD by train.
Hello there ! My name is Zee :) Looking for a share home with some like minded queer friendly folks to share a home with. During the week I am a Student Counselor at at a Special School in Bundoora. In my spare time I love to binge watch a coming of age show or a thriller. I also like to pretend to be Travis Barker, Ash Ketchum and a real life potato . I'm pretty quiet to live with however I am always up for a chat or a dinner every now and then. I also love music so am always down for listening parties and going to gigs :)
Hi, I'm Lisa and I'm 21 years old. I've just completed my bachelor's degree in Business majoring in International Hospitality Management and Human Resource Management at Victoria University. I work casually at a hotel in the CBD, mainly working 'graveyard' shifts. I plan on pursuing a career in the hotel industry, one day hoping to be within management. I'm originally from the country and grew up on a farm. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years, first in Footscray and currently in Coburg. I'm an animal lover, I love to cook, read, explore my surroundings, and catch up with friends. I'm a quiet homebody, who is shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm a real chatterbox. I'm not really a club person, I much prefer bars, or even just catching up with friends in general. I have recently taken up going to the gym with some friends as well. I'm straight and a non-smoker. I don't really care what your preferences are in these areas, although I would prefer to live with someone who did not smoke indoors. I have a car in Melbourne so will be looking for a house with a parking spot. I also hope to find somewhere close to public transport, within 30 minutes to an hour distance of the CBD. I'd love to team up with someone ideally, rather than move into an existing lease. However, I'm open to options at this point. My ideal housemate(s): · Looking to rent for at least a year and go on the lease. · Willing to contribute towards furniture. · Clean in our shared spaces. · Working/able to keep up to date with bills. · Happy to have a puppy dog around. · Isn't going to be throwing house party’s all the time. · Someone who is looking to make a new friend 🙂. Food/meals - I mainly organise myself in terms of meals and food. I am however not opposed to shared meals/outings if you like. I eat meat and have no other dietary requirements. Whilst I respect all eating preferences, I would like to live in a household where we can accept one another. Eg. You don't mind that I eat meat and I don't care what you consume (so long as it isn't my food aha). I don't really have any furniture in Melbourne with me, all the places I've lived in so far have come furnished when I moved in. I will be bringing along my own bed/mattress, desk, bookshelves, dresser and tv, but that's about it. I could also potentially buy some furniture off my current flatmates as well if needed. In saying that, I am of course more than willing to contribute to the purchase of furniture. I'm not fussy and am happy with second hand, but well-maintained items. If you have any communal furniture to bring along with you, that would be great! Ollie is my 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier x Fox Terrier puppy. He is house and crate trained, fully vaccinated, and desexed. He can shed a little bit, but that is easily kept on top of with regular grooming and vacuuming of the house. However if you have an allergy to dogs, probably not the best match. He is a playful and sometimes mischievous puppy, but he also loves to curl up on the couch next to you and sleep all day. Ollie has a 'dicky' leg, which means he limps and can't fully extend one of them. This doesn't affect him in any way and he will often get the 'zoomies' to prove it. He has a great temperament with other dogs as well as cats, along with most people in general. He has been around many animals on my parent's farm, as well as socialising at the dog park and dog beach.
Starting work as a registered nurse in 2020. I'm super approachable, clean up after myself and respect others personal space (I myself am am an introvert and need my time to recharge). More than happy to share snacks and bake treats for my roomies!
I recently moved here from Sydney and am currently living with a friend but looking to move out. I work full time as a dispute resolution specialist for Suncorp in the CBD. I'm very easy to get along with, friendly, respectful, tidy, quiet and all over a great housemate (said the previous housemates I've had) ^_^ My hobbies include catching up with friends, bushwalking/hiking, playing badminton, reading, and watching movies (and Korean dramas!). I'm not a party person but I'm sociable and am always up for a chat and a meal. I don't smoke and only drink socially. I have 2 small dogs, a pomeranian cross and a cavoodle, who get along great with other dogs and cats as well and love human attention, but are usually asleep most of the day.
Easy going, fun loving, avid book reader, can adjust with everything very easily. I have just finished my masters from La Trobe University and currently I work part time in Docklands.
Hi guys!, i'm Ernesto, currently studying my postgraduate, and working part time!, enjoy watching films/Netflix, playing board games or brunch with a few pals far more than going out to crowded bars and clubs. Spend lots of time at uni/work/studying at libraries but also like to study at home. Also i'm a very respectful person and i prefer quiet housemates and always pay my rent on time!. Also like the company of pets!, i like sports, play the guitar, cooking and having nice chats with friends.
Hi I’m Katie, I’m 25. I work full time and study as well. Quite social and spend a lot of time out of the house. Looking for a share house with people who are working or studying, but also interested in cooking/spending some time together as housemates. Love to go out on the weekends but not usually on weekdays. I’m very clean and know how to live respectfully in a share house.
Looking for either: - lease transfer or private rental where I can live alone (rent cost around $400). - Or to live in a shared place with preferably 1-2 other housemates (rent cost $150-250) Main areas I’m looking at: Heidelberg or Ivanhoe. Other areas I would consider: Clifton Hill, Rosanna, Eaglemont, Alphington, Fairfield, Westgarth, Collingwood... basically anything along the Hurstbridge line and that’s close to a train station. I’m financially stable. Reliable and pay rent on time. Can provide a reference for this. Lead a very busy and hectic lifestyle. Work, study and keep fit. So most of the time I’ll be in and out of the house. Wouldn’t be there for most weekend nights. Pretty laid back and easy to get along with. With lots of interesting stories to tell. I also have a cat! Ideally would like to have him with me but can leave him at home with family.
Hey! My name is Kate. I am looking for a new place to live. I am a teacher and employed full time. I enjoy catching up with friends, food, have a love/hate relationship with the gym and heading to the footy. I understand the need to have a balance between socialising with you housemates and having your own personal space.
I work full time, I pay bills on time, I have furniture if needed, I like AFL and Surfing also other sports. Im easygoing and take initiative in doing things such as cleaning up. I’m looking forward to see what’s on offer, I’m looking to move in ASAP
