Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT in the city. In my spare time I like to watch movies, explore Melbourne, go to the beach, see a live gig or catch up with mates. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I am financially secure, clean up after myself and respect other people's privacy and personal space. Ideally, I am looking to share a 2bdr apartment with one other adult roughly my own age somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute reasonable. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
Hi! My name is Kalinda, and I'm moving from Townsville to Melbourne at the end of May. I'm 22, and I'm working part time in retail and I'll be studying Creative Arts at La Trobe. I've done the sharehouse thing for two years now, and have never had any issues paying rent and bills on time. I'd like to live somewhere close to public transport to La Trobe, but I will have my car with me so it's not too essential. I'm moving with my ragdoll/tortoiseshell cat Violet, who's house-trained and is very friendly with people and other animals. About me: I'm a creative person, and my specialty is writing; I hope to make a career out of it and will be working towards that when I arrive in Melbourne. I'm a friendly, happy person, and hope to be friends with my future housemates as well, as I only know a handful of people in Melbourne, therefore a friendly sharehouse would be preferable :) My interests outside writing include gaming (xbox and pc), watching sports, all other art forms (tv and movies, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc), and exploring (trying new foods, live music, adventuring, festivals, etc.) If I sound like I could fit into your home, please shoot me a message (or if you're willing to team up to find a place, hit me up). I'm ready to move immediately, though it'll take me 3-4 days to drive to Melbourne (because of this, I won't be able to do an in-person interview, as I'll have nowhere to stay in Melbourne in the meantime, but feel free to chat to me on facebook, or I can get skype, etc.). I would love to be an addition to your household :)
Hello, I'm currently working in the film and Telly industry and work long hours. I won't be home much expect over the weekends. I don't smoke or drink and enjoy running, swimming and keeping active.
Hi! We're Shannon & Tim, and currently we live in a share house in Greensborough. Due to our lease ending and our third housemate moving interstate, we are looking to find new digs and a third housemate! A little about us, we're cousins for starters: My name is Shannon, I work full time in administration (for now) and I come with a dog- a gorgeous kelpie mix. Koda is really well behaved in the house, she's on our current lease and we have never had a problem. She is super friendly and loves other dogs, people and cats too (which is lucky as Tim has 2). I walk her daily and she's really well trained, and with her big golden brown eyes she easily wins people over. I've been living in share houses for about 5 years so I'm pretty respectful of others space. During the week I like to keep it quiet, but I think it's important to live with people who can have a chat or cook a meal, watch some TV etc. During winter I do enjoy footy season and home cooked meals, as well as checking out different pubs for live music so some evenings I'm not around. Overall I'm a pretty clean person, respectful of other peoples space and hopefully easy to live with. Tim also works full time in recruitment, he's been renting for years now and also happens to be my cousin! He comes with 2 cats, so any additions to the house may have to be of another variety (we don't want it to be crazy!). He's got a super dry & sassy sense of humour, is great at cleaning the kitchen and pretty much keeps to himself through the week. He's also really respectful of others space, and makes a mean chicken & slaw dish. So if you're interested in teaming up please hit us up!!
Easy going, fun loving, avid book reader, can adjust with everything very easily. I'm a student at La Trobe studying master of Financial Analysis.
Hi there, There's a room available in this 2 bedroom apartment in Heidelberg. It's a 5 minute walk to the train station and the Austin and Mercy Hospitals. Walking distance to Burgundy street - which has cafes, restaurants, gyms and supermarkets (Leons, Aldi, Coles and Safeway). The apartment is second floor with lots of greenery around so you don't feel like you're up against other apartment blocks. There's a small patio area, decent sized living area, big bathroom with laundry and the rooms are generous proportions. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated. All the main areas are furnished (there is room for more furniture if needed) so all you need is bedroom furniture. The lease is currently month to month, so if you're looking for short term that's not a problem. Bills are split 50/50. Wifi is $30 a month, the rest of the utilities fluctuate.
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old girl currently working as a nurse and currently specialising in Emergency. I'm a friendly housemate, who can get quite busy at times, and now finding study takes up a lot of my time. I'm up at 6am most mornings and can sometimes come in late after Pm shifts. I love a clean and tidy home. No matter where home is, it is my home and I love and cherish it. Clean and functional things bring me so much joy. I enjoy an active lifestyle, reading, movies, cooking (I love all things vegan). I appreciate a good housemate who is honest and has a good sense of humour.
Very clean and tidy professional looking for a room for around 8 weeks but likely to stay longer. Good sense of humor and get along with most people. I am friendly, responsible and considerate and looking for a relatively quite place. I enjoy good conversations and occasional drink or two but I am not a party guy
Suburb is fantastic. 2 minute walk to shops. Trains and buses nearby. (Zone 1 & 2) 2 major hospitals 15 minute walk away. Many restaurants and 4 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk from the property. *Tenant must be ok with cats. There are 3 indoor cats in residence. No smokers please.
Cosy room with built in wardrobes over looking a small courtyard. The unit has polished floorboards and is only a short walk from train station and shops. There is lovely big parkland and Yarra Trail also a short walk away. Parking in double garage available and plenty of storage space. Air-conditioning in lounge room and ducted heating throughout. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry recently renovated.
I have 2 teenage children with me, 50 % of the time. Would love to share with someone in a similar situation. I'll write more when I feel there is any hope at all of something out there - think that maybe there is little likelyhood of someone being in a comparable situation?
I will be studying for the bridging course for nurses for 3 months. I will be arriving in Australia May 13 but will tour a bit so I will be in Melbourne around May 16 - 18 ,,, My class will start May 22 in IHNA. ANYWHERE NEAR IHNA SCHOOL WOULD BE GREAT. AT LEAST 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM SCHOOL BY BUS/TRAIN/WALKING,,,, BUT NOT TOO FAR LIKE 2 HOURS AWAY ~~~ It would be great to be with a fellow nursing student or anyone who is studying anything or any course? xD,,lolol,,, but anywaysss im fine living with anyone. Dog lover. I am a fun loving and friendly person but sometimes, I do like being alone in my room (especially when im stressed) and just do my thing so please dont take it as an action of rudeness if I dont socialize with everyone everyday inside the house. :) I prefer to have my own room. I love food and cooking my own food. Fan of k/j-dramas, loves music(any type as long as I like it), chocolate lover
Im looking for a privet room in a shared 4 bedrooms and im looking for a 50:50 genders house. I work full time and have steady income, like to keep to myself, I'm fairly quiet. Happy to help out with any chores or cleaning that needs to be done. I pay all bills on time or early. I've currently been living in Melbourne for over a year after finishing school and moving from the country to Melbourne to work. Would very much like to find a place to move into. Before 17/7/17. I'm a full time Mechanic at BMW, my love is cars and working on them. Happy to live with all people who would be happy to live with me. I'm quite busy outside of work so I'm not always at home. I'm looking for a place at $150pw without bills included.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hey Hows it going? Im Ash, 26 years old, working full at the moment near Greensborough as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost planner. Working Monday to Friday all day long so potential roomates will have the place to them selves during weekdays. Chilled out guy, absolute neat freak, get along with everyone and always respect people's privacy as I enjoy mine at times.
I'm a 52 year old Single Non Smoker who is tired of handing over $1700 per month for rent in Gowanbrae. Ideally, I would like to share with a person who is respectful of each others personal space, is reliable and is also a non smoker. I'm fine with pets, being an animal lover. I'm very independent and clean. I'm not a party animal or heavy drinker, but occasionally have one or 2 beers after a hard day at work. I'm away most weekends visiting family or friends. So, in conclusion, I'm just after a room to put my double bed and some belongings in, that is safe secure and hassle free. When I move out of my current apartment, I will either have a Washing Machine, Dryer to dispose of, or if you can use it, it is available. I work full time (Mon -Fri) 0600 to 1700. Ideally, a property with own bathroom or ensuite would be what I would prefer.
Looking for a large room or granny flat. I'm semi retired but always able to pay bills on time.I'm pretty relaxed, used to sharing accommodation with other people from a variety of backgrounds ethnicities and age groups. I like gardening, rediscovering music ( keyboard and guitar) and doing online study. I'm also interested in people who wish to start up a new lease and are looking for others. I am able to put up the bond immediately but obviously I will need to be paid back.
I have lived at my last place for 12 years as I always paid rent on time and treated my neighbours with consideration and respect. I have a life of my own and will not smother you. I am socialised and do not roll home drunk and be obnoxious and annoying. Reformed smoker but do not worry being around smokers and drink on a very occasional basis. No Drugs. I am virtually retired at 64 years and cover all my Centrelink obligations with volunteer work. i would like to stay in the listed areas as I have family at Heidelberg and friends at Blackburn and Knox and the public transport gets me to both, and my volunteer role, conveniently. Paying rent is the priority and understanding that you have to give people in a shared situation genuine consideration is next. Socialised, tidy and personable in a sharing situation. Excellent rental refererence from my previous 12 years of renting at Lower Plenty and personal references as well. Do not have pets/companions but would consider them a bonus if you do.
I am a respectful considerate easy to get along with person. I like to keep my place clean and I'm very houseproud. I like a little bit of socialising with my housemate but I do also like my space. And I am not a party person. I work for VicRoads where I have been working for the past 7 years. I do work part time, however it is permanent, Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day. I am a very honest person where what you see of me is what you get. I also have a very good sense of humour and love a laugh.
