I am a Singaporean Chinese, turning 24 this coming March and will be studying nursing in La Trobe. I am very flexible and accommodating, and love home cooked meals (most of the time). Generally conservative and prefer the simpler things in life. Hobbies include cooking (home cooked not professional), a bit of photography, watching competitive League of Legends, going on road trips. There's more but these are the things I can think of from the top of my head currently. Used to be a medical centre medic posted to Thailand for a year back in my military days, so I'm first-aid trained (; and have the habit and knowledge of self-medicating when down with common illnesses learnt from working alongside medical officers in the past in the military, so no need to go and see the doctor (unless you want a medical certificate) I cook a mean tom yum soup too, btw (; update: My move in dates are flexible. I will have my own accommodation plans for my first few weeks in Melbourne while I go around viewing places. I arrive in Melbourne on Feb 19th, and can move in anytime after. Latest by mid March though! If you have LlNE or w3ch4t, you can add my lD youxunnn Duration of stay is also flexible and not fixed as stated above (6 months). Will be longer if everything goes well! I am ultimately looking for a long term option.
Hi! My name is Patrizia, 25yrs old nurse, from the Philippines. I’m looking for an affordable place near ETEA, Burgundy St., Hiedelberg. I will be attending classes from Apr 11 til July. I am not sure if how long will I stay since I might be assigned to another area for clinical practice. Rest assured, I’m responsible and tidy. I’m very flexible and I can adapt easily.
Leafy home in Eaglemont bordering Heidelberg, Rustic vibes throughout the house. 2 large bedrooms available . Being a 4 bedroom house we have lots of storage space throughout the house and also 2 large sheds outside and a huge backyard. The house has ducked heating, a split system air conditioner and bills are very cheap. Only a 10 minute walk to Burgundy Street strip, 15 Minute walk to Heidelberg Station (25 min to city). Buses 546 and 903 are both a 5 minute walk from the doorstep.
Well located to public transport and shops + hospitals. Modern and clean. A spare parking space in the DLG! Central heating and cooling. Nice and quiet leafy area. Mature and considerate hostess. Privacy respected. Own bathroom with the use of the study.
Looking for a decent place to move into for 6+ months come May. So I can live, study & work when I'm back in Melbourne again. Place needs to already be home to some cool, trustworthy people who got their own thing going on, but are positive and down with reality. I've lots of experience sharing, am privately renting presently, and can get you actual references if need be. Budget = $250 pw max. (inc bills/inner city location or both) Anywhere close by a station or where the city's within walking distance - with secure backyard - is blitz for me & my furbaby Taco. Taco is a house-trained, medium x-breed (Pointer etc), great to live with - friendly and quiet, except if something suss is going down. Me, I'm just an idiosyncratic badass ie I may have been born yesterday, but I stayed up all night - I've plenty going on so I'm busy enough as is - So only message me if you're genuine. I'm clean, easy-going, give respect where I get it & like my people much the same +enjoy my own space. Up for cooking communally every now & then as is well fun, and appreciate people with good vibes; happy-go-lucky aka fun or chill busy people ~ Not people who want to get all up in my business. Love music, art, being active, dancing, misadventures, reading, etc.. also down for at home early morning, or alternately, evening yoga sessions should time be on my side. If this bio sounds good to you & you love animals then I think we got a match so get in touch! No misogynists, bigots, homophobes, racists, liars, thieves or sociopaths - 'Cause I'm not buying what you're selling. I'm cool with everyone else though! ^_^ Luna♡☆
I’m Gareth, a 34yo working professional. I work full time as a business development manager for an engineering company with a national customer base, meaning I travel quite regularly interstate for work. I sometimes also work from home. I have a great sense of humour, am responsible, considerate and respectful. Ideally I’ll be looking at moving into a 2 bedroom share house with a clean friendly person / persons. Some outdoor space would be ideal as I do have a beautiful selection of indoor and outdoor plants that I would like to bring and may also do the occasional odd repair to my surfboards or convert new furniture into unique vintage pieces. I’m open to being flexible with my living needs so please drop me a line if you think there is something that may be suitable. I do also own my own furniture (bed, couches, fridge, washing machine etc) if needed or I’m happy to put them into storage. Mature but young at heart, caring, nurturing, sociable but respecting of personal space. Conscientious and neat. Love to cook and socialise over food/drink or sit on the couch with a glass of red watching films or a David Attenborough documentary.
A lovely "mansion" in Eaglemont, near Ivanhoe. Huge room available in its own area of the house, with huge windows, BIRs and own AC system. It also includes own full bathroom with separate toilet, and own living room / study! Its a 2 minute walk to the shops and train station into the city, and a short walk to both ivanhoe and heidelberg shops. 4 minute walk to the Austin Hospital precinct. Perfect for hospital staff / students wanting to be close to work and very quiet for study. There is also a remote controlled garage to park your car and a lovely garden and decking. Its a very clean, tidy home not a party house!
Located close to the train station and shops (100m walk). 14 kms from the CBD. The house is on a nice quite street. It has aircon/ducted heating and also a huge backyard. It's an old house and the cheap rent reflects that. (I'll post some pics up of the room/rooms later in the week I still have some furniture I need to move first).
Great location, close to parks, transport, hospital and the Burgundy St shops. The flat has a great 70's vibe, loads of timber, brick plus lots of natural light. Kick back and relax with 2, 4 seater couches whilst watching Foxtel with the door's wide open to a leafy courtyard. Great kitchen and dining area, if you ever wanted to have friends over, its a great space! The room that you would vacate, is a smaller room, more like a study, has a double bed, wardrobe, side table, brand new adairs bedding and a TV.
Hi. Starting work at The Mercy Hospital at the start of June. Like most people, I am easy going with a broad array of tolerances except for smokers, ultra-left/right/(insert any other extreme politic) wingers and platted mullets. Will be working and studying so not looking for a frat house. Like most, I have had some fantastic and not so fantastic share house experiences so have a good idea what it takes to make it work. A genuine sense of mutual understanding and respect is the essential. .
We are two doctors willing to start working in Austin Hospital. We are friendly, tidy clean and neat also we are non-smokers and non-drinkers. We are professionals lookin for quiet and clean place nearby Austin Hospital. We need two separated bed rooms for each one of us.
Hi there. I'm Sinead, moved to Melbs from country NSW. Looking for new place to call home. I'm with my beaaautiful blue heeler pup Billie. Shes the greatest dog ever born. Need a place with backyard and close to parks. We love nature and want to be really close to it! Hoping to find someone chill and friendly. We don't know anyone here so also hoping to find a friend in a housemate! I like beer a lot and chillin in the arvo sun eating good food and enjoying the finer things in life. Beer; tunes; wine + cheese; nature; walking in nature; picnicking... that kind of thing! I work shift work and long hours, but have 4 days off at a time. So would need someone that doesn't mind looking out for my pup while I'm at work. But you wouldn't mind. because shes a damn good dog! Ok. Hit me up if your keen. SEEYA
Hey :) I've just moved to Melbourne from the Sunshine Coast QLD (currently staying at my grandparents until I find a house). I'm working as a registered nurse in Heidelberg and looking for a house to call home not too far away from there. I love Mexican food, music festivals and a glass (or bottle) of wine (or vodka, cough) on the weekends. Being a social person, I would love somewhere where the house is like a bit of a family, but I also appreciate time to myself. I've lived out of home since I was 18 (including a little stint in Canada) and in that time I have never missed a rent payment. I was in my last house for 4 years and I only left to move down here so I'm pretty reliable as well. I do have a car, so somewhere with a place to park is necessary (even if it's just on the street), and I will need somewhere with a wardrobe as I managed to bring quite a bit of clothes down with me. Any questions (or medical advice), feel free to ask me but I'm an easy going, clean, fun young gal looking for the perfect house to start my life here in Melbourne! x
Hi, my name's Justin, I'm a 38 year old barista, and musician in my spare time. I'm pretty quiet around the house, but like to make a little noise with my guitar when no one is around (I have weekdays off, so this usually works out pretty well). I've been renting with a married couple in a house they own for nearly 4 years, and moving on due to upcoming renovations of my room. Always considerate, tidy, clean, think communication is important (like to know if I'm doing something that annoys others around the house, yet pretty tolerant of other's quirks). Always on time with rent, and like to keep on top of my share of house chores. Friendly, love a chat, but sometimes keep to myself for a while to rejuvenate after a day of working with people in hospitality. I'm looking to move within a month, and am free to move pretty much as soon as something suitable comes up. Thanks, Justin.
FEMALE CHRISTIAN ONLY PLEASE - LEAFY HOUSESHARE - 2 minutes walk to city train. (a 20 minute trip to city), and it's a 10 minute walk to Heidelberg and Ivanhoe with many bus connections there & Austen Hospital. The leafy suburb of Eaglemont is near the lovely Yarra River walking tracks, and some cafes and shops. The Bedroom is a double - with Built In Robes. Other furniture may be available. The house is fully furnished with timber floors, ducted heating and 2 bathrooms (essential for girls). About 4 weeks cash bond is required and house-mates can go onto a long lease, or Short Term may be OK. References would be good too, but not essential.
Hi, I'm Sean, 24 years old, I work full time at my university and I also study full time. I'm into health & fitness, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, socialising & TV show binging. I'm a pretty chilled out guy and would be happy to make friends with whoever I end up living with.

Hi! I'm a 20 year old female from country Victoria. I moved to Melbourne in 2016. I'm studying Nursing at La Trobe University, Bundoora. I've lived on campus for the past few years, and I'm looking for a place close to uni and the Austin Hospital. I get that everyone needs their personal space, including me, and so I'm very respectful in that aspect. Saying that, I do also love a good chat and to watch a movie every so often with my roommates. I don't just want a roommate, I want a friend - I hate feeling like we have to tip toe around and avoid each other. I'm a very tidy person and clean up after myself. I'm looking forward to finding the perfect roommates!
I'm a great cook and happy to make yummy veggie dinners/desserts any day of the week. I just turned 20 and wouldn't say I LOVE to party but don't mind havin a boogy every now n then. From California, I moved to Melbourne 6 years ago and am a citizen so no worries there. Im studying part-time at the moment with goal of doing it more full-time so I will be at home or at the library studying often. I love all things relating to nature/health/fashion/art/music!!
We are situated parallel to a shopping strip where several shops, cafes etc are a few minutes walk away. Parklands, train, buses, freeway are also very closely situated to us. The house is a comfortable space with a spacious kitchen, dining and lounge area, as well as an easily manageable court yard for enjoyment of the afternoon sun. 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms is pretty much unheard of for the price of rent we pay, it works super well for an all girl house! There is also a sizeable laundry with double trough, storage and washing machine available for use. We have netflix and internet if you would like to share in the cost. We have a puppy! He is a small maltese x shitzu black and white little man. He does not shed, he is incredibly cute and loved by everyone in the house. He is an inside dog when we are home but spends his time in the yard when no one is home. At night he sleeps in the laundry.
Located right next to Heidelberg Train Station and just across the road from the Austin Hospital. Shops and cafes are also located nearby . The place is a fully furnished 2 bedroom townhouse (room for rent is not furnished). The apartment has a lounge/ dining room, two bedrooms, small courtyard, laundry room, shared bathroom and balcony.
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
Friendly and kind personality is on me all the time, as well as respectfully and easy going. I like espaces cleaned and tidy. Honesty and responsability are very important for me. Hi, my name is Amber. I’m a 21 year old outgoing girl moving to Melbourne for a new experience. I’m a very organized and tidy individual, and don’t have a problem cleaning just about anything. I enjoy being active whether that’s in a gym or outside playing a sport. I’m a social butterfly but also enjoy having relaxing movie nights. Message me if you’re looking for an easy going but clean housemate.
Middle age guy who works for myself as a contract bookkeeper and accountant. I live clean and tidy and hope to share with someone similar. Have a fairly dry sense of humour and enjoy company but also like my own space. Someone to share responsibilities and just know are around to share conversation would be great.
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a nice and quiet place during my stay in Melbourne, near Heidelberg area or CBD, from March 29th onwards. Hey guys My names Connor and I'll be moving back to Melbourne at the end of March after 4 years in sunny QLD completing a Bachelor of Building Design (Architectural). I am making the move back after being offered full time employment at a design firm in the far Northern Suburbs so will be looking at living within a 30 minute commute of South Morang. I'll be arriving in Melbourne over the Easter weekend and staying with a friend while I search for a room. When I last lived in Melbourne I worked as a bar manager in the CBD, as well as starting an events consulting business that sees me working as a stage manager at various music festivals in Vic and around the country on the weekends. I love a good wine, beer and a nice meal at home as a group, but know of the need for space sometimes. I come with a car, no furniture (yet) and a passion for health and fitness after working in Sports nutrition retail through my degreee. I love cooking and will usually be found preparing my meals for the following day each evening, and not forgetting the washing up part! While I love the events and entertainment industries I am most definitely not a partier, on the rare occasion that I let my hair down the fun doesn't come home with me. I am ideally looking for a furnished room with a minimum queen sized bed, adequate storage space such as a wardrobe and space for a desk for my work desktop.

I am moving to Melbourne from Newcastle to study at La Trobe University, starting second semester. I am currently working in Newcastle and will constantly be looking for work before I move in May. I tend to keep to myself a lot and I don't know too many people in Melbourne at the moment. I do enjoy good conversation. I like to chill out, watch movies, work on new cosplay ideas when I have a day off. I would be moving earlier but I have commitments until the 19th May. I would like to secure somewhere as soon as possible so I can give my employer in Newcastle enough notice of my resignation. I smoke, I don't do drugs and I like the occasional drink. I will respect anyone's rule of no smoking at the house. I never smoke inside.
I am a fun loving person and migrating to Melbourne. I am a finance professional and will be on full time work during weekdays. But will be available for little chat sessions during weekdays and some outside adventure during weekends :)
