I'm looking for a place close to the city for Monday to Friday for me and my medium sized (friendly) dog, Amos, who comes everywhere with me (except work, unfortunately). I'll be at work all day, walking Amos at night and away Friday to Sunday night. I'm very clean, responsible, considerate and easy going (although apparently everyone is). I have a small motorbike I’m keen to store in garage. Let me know if Amos and I sound like we might fit your needs.
My name is Jasmine and my partner is Nic. We have a three year old cat named Finn (he is an inside cat only and is great and doesn't ruin things thank goodness). I am a definite clean freak and am very friendly but my partner, Nic, can be very shy at first. We are a very happy couple, been together for over two years and recently moved down from Cairns. Nic is a bartender and a mechanic and I am a law student and also work at a factory. We respect everyone's space and won't get in your face or anything. We have rented properties together before but are trying to save money to get our own place.
We've just moved in to a 4 bedroom house located in East Brisbane, and are looking for two house mates to come live with us! The property is located in a quiet street just a short distance from public transport, The Gabba and heaps of cafes. Features of the house include an open plan living room downstairs that joins on to a paved courtyard at one end and the kitchen at the other. The house has ducted air con throughout and heaps of storage. Upstairs are the two bedrooms our new housemates will take! The rooms are unfurnished, large and big enough for a queen/king bed and dressing tables. Both rooms come with built in wardrobes. You will be sharing the upstiars bathroom with one other person. We have two rooms available for rent immediately and ideally would love for the right person to move in ASAP. Extra furniture for the living room isn't a necessity however, if you have dining room furniture, a washing machine or TV, this would be favorable (but not a huge issue if you don't!). On street parking is available - just have to apply for a resident permit from the council
Free unlimited wifi. All bills included. We have a small private room available in our share-house for $140 per week for stays of 3 months or longer. The room is carpeted and contains a bed, a desk and lamp, and a comfortable desk chair. You can bring your own furniture if you wish. The house is located 2 kms from the CBD and a 2 minute walk from buses that take you direct to the CBD or Fortitude Valley. It is also 2 minutes to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. A short walk onwards takes you to a Citycat ferry stop offering quick access to the city and universities. Bond is 4 weeks rent, and rent is paid in advance fortnightly. We would like someone who is respectful of others in the house, and does not smoke. You have access to a communal kitchen with appliances, fridges, a microwave, dishwasher a gas stove/oven, and a shared washing machine. There is on street parking available.
I am a clean, tidy, friendly professional, who works full time shift work as a Nurse at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. I pay all my bills on time and would expect my future housemate to do the same. I currently live 45 minutes away from work and would like to move closer. Ideally I would like to have my name on the lease, and find an appropriate housemate to stay and leave for as for as long as they need. I would purchase/own all the furniture, appliances and decor myself and this will all be of high end quality. I am looking to move out mid way this year around August/September and would like to find someone to move in with me first before I find a place - You can assist in working together with me to "team up" in a place we both find suitable. I have a few apartments in mind they will be 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom - minimum with all ammenities. I would like someone who enjoys dogs, I do not currently have one, but will hopefully when I move out - The apartment would be pet friendly. It would be favourable to have someone around my age, bonus if you're a nurse too! Who enjoys staying in, or going out and won't mind me coming or going at late hours for work. I promise I'm not scary, I'm pretty laid back and like to be organised. If you are looking to move out around the same time as me feel free to send me a message and we can organise something :)
Very light-flooded room with two big windows and a really comfortable and huge queen size bed. The room is probably the best and biggest room of all 5 rooms in the house although all rooms have the same amount of rent. The house is modern compared to the standard in Brisbane. All rooms and common areas have air-conditioning. The common area (living room) has two big comfortable couches, a big flat screen and really cool JBL-Bluetooth-Speakers. Furthermore the kitchen of the house is really huge and has two big and new refrigerators. There is also a big terrace with seating possibilities and a really nice view to CBD and South bank. Bed linen and a washing machine is also available. There is one bus station just in front of the house and 3 more bus stations just 3-5 minutes by walk. It only takes 6 minutes to South Bank and 10 minutes to CBD by bus.
I am 26 years old and currently work full time in the Valley. I am reliable, super easy going, friendly and courteous. I love spending my time off out and about; the beach, hiking, going to markets. By night i love to cook at home and watch a good netflix series with a glass of vino or seek out a new bar with delicious food and drink. I have flat shared for a number of years now and always love getting to know my housemates. I enjoy being out and about and love meeting new people - however in saying that I am not a party person and will always respect the home and your space too :)
I am a 19 year old student currently in my second year studying a bachelor of business at Griffith University. I am responsible, extremely neat, sociable, easy going, organised, quiet, respectable and clean. I’m mostly a private person and will definitely respect others privacy. I work mostly at night and can pay on time.
Fully Furnished, recently renovated (floorings - no carpet), paint), 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (1 is an ensuite), fully furnished. Balcony with a view, good breeze through, aircon in the living room (which cools both bedrooms as well). Big fridge, washing machine, storage area in the garage, etc. Patricia's parents are visiting until 28/March, that's their stuff you can see in the photos. You will have your own bathroom and own bedroom! Lots of room and privacy! *** sorry guys, first time doing this, the room for 1 person is $200, but for couples is $300. This is negotiable though.
One room available in a three bedroom modern Queenslander. The house is very spacious it doesn't feel like you are sharing it with two other people or stepping on each other. The rooms are individually rented so you will not have to cover someone elses rent. It's located in the suburb of East Brisbane, which is the suburb right next to Woolloongabba and Kangaroo Point so very central and easy to get anywhere. $10 Uber/Taxi rides and 10 mins to the city. The Bills are $45 per week, which include - Unlimited Internet, Netflix in the lounge, Electricity, Water, Lawn maintenance, House maintenance. So you pay $240 per week including bills. So I wont have to hit you up for additional bill money. The unlimited Internet has a fetch TV (Netflix). The lawn is mowed every two to three weeks so no garden work has to be done but theres a big yard. I have Philips HUE lights install in the house, this means that when you come home after dark the lights turn on for you before you get to the door and you can control them with your phone. If you Google Philips HUE you will be able to see a video on how they work. Pretty cool party trick but also a safety and electricity saving product. The house is on a busy road but is not noisy. The room available is in the back of the house. The back room can be furnished if needed. The rest of the house is furnished. I have a good coffee machine, a washing machine. The house has a deck and huge backyard, air-con in the common room. Under the house is an open area enough for a car and plenty of storage space. Looking for someone who will feel an equal to the house as well as the space shared among the housemates. Looking for a clean person in the shared rooms and is respectful and considerate of all living there. I'm not looking for someone who parties and drinks every night but is keen to socialise and have fun on weekend. There is a bus stop right out the front and about a 15min walk from the Woolloongabba bus stop and Gabba Central where there is a Coles, Bottle shop and Jetts Gym plus more. There is an IGA down the road, Mister Fitz, donut time and many more great food places and of course the Gabba stadium, very close to the city and valley. I'm a 24 year old full time worker. I start my mornings at 4am but im very quite. I leave for the gym by 5am and end my day at the dog park so I am not home often. I play touch football so three nights a week I come home late. I have two Border Collies unfortunately we can't take any more animals. They don't bark at all and are well trained. One is still a puppy and one is four years old. The other housemate is a a 25 year old full time worker. We are quite and busy during the week. We enjoy a glass of wine and cheese on the weekend. No smokers If you have any questions please ask.
I'm very flexible, respectful and tidy. Most of the time I'm staring at my laptop/phone because of the career I've recently switched to. But this doesn't make me a silent piece of rock; I'm always up for a friendly chat. I love walking/jogging (especially in mornings), meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds. If there's anything I can help my prospective flatmates with, they can be sure I won't ever keep it back. I'm moving to Australia permanently and anything that can help me assimilate into the new environment and better my English will be welcomed with open arms (I'm already pretty good at English though).
Hello! I work full time in the city Monday to Friday so I am looking for a quick commute to work. Interested in an air-conditioned room with my own bathroom in an existing place or open to finding a new place with 1or 2 likeminded people. I am quite flexible with the move date, I like clean kitchens, having a laugh and I hate cats (sorry).
I am a watchmaking apprentice working full time during the week. I'm currently looking to move to a new place. I am reliable and considerate flatmate who enjoys a couple of beers from time to time. Will always be pretty friendly and I'd say easy to chat with. If you do not like English people, I am not the man for you.
Hi, I'm Adrienne! I'm 19 and currently studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics at QUT. I am an easy going person and am very tidy and clean. I enjoy having a good netflix binge, going to the beach, playing any sport, watching movies and just having a good time with great company. I am looking for a share house environment with easy going and clean people. I love meeting new people and going out for a drink every now and then.
I'm a Sydney sider who is going to move to the sunshine state to be closer to my sister and for work. I'm a nurse who is working full time, love to wine and dine, keeping fit and healthy. Very clean and courteous Can be very social but loves some me time
This place has plenty of street parking as well as being wonderfully close to public transport. In fact this place is close enough to drunk walk home from the city, including a convenient, cheeky Macca's stop just before you get home. There's also a bunch of sick cafes within walking distance and it's a great spot for uber eats if you're hella lazy like me sometimes. The room is furnished with a double bed, desk and a built in dresser. Unlimited wifi is included in rent. The things that aren't included in rent (gas, electricity/ potentially water if you're a fish) are super manageable and relatively cheap.
Hey :) we are a Scottish couple on a working holiday in Australia. We have just finished working in South Australia and are moving to Brisbane early next month! We are both easy going people and are looking for a flat/house share with likeminded people. We will be looking for full time jobs as soon as we get to Brisbane and will be staying for 6 months. We’re highly motivated so will likely be working a lot of the time but would enjoy flat mates we could hang out with a bit and sometimes have a few drinks with in the evenings. We are also very tidy people and will treat your home with respect. We reckon we are good flat mates because we have became good friends with everyone we’ve lived with before, we keep on top of cleaning, and love to help people whenever we can. When we’re not working we like to do outdoor sports like kayaking, or of course, chill watching Netflix. We’re looking for a furnished room (bed and clothes storage) as we don’t want to buy new furniture. Size of the room doesn’t matter and we are flexible with location as long as it has decent enough transport links to the Brisbane CBD. If you have a room we could rent for under 250 per week please get in touch with us! Thanks, Katie and Chloe
Hi! I work full time for at home/ hospital care for sick/elderly people on week days and weekends. I am also studying nursing, I am social and always down for a wine or chat but also love my own space/downtime. Not a big party person and love being active :). I am tidy, clean and respectful and looking for somewhere clean and comfortable. Looking to move out start/mid April. Sian :)
This is a small bedroom so the connected sunroom will also be yours. This is a beautiful old house with heaps of windows, spare space and character. There is a deck at the back (with city views!), storage room under the house and a sun room as well as a spare bedroom/study. Plenty of public transport within a 10 minute walk (bus stops and Mowbray Park CityCat) as well as parks, shops and restaurants, Oxford St is a 10 minute drive away. Always plenty of parking on the street and it is a really safe and friendly neighbourhood. Electricity, gas and internet bills are split 3 ways. Netflix is set up on the TV in the lounge room, there is also an A/C.
Gidday! I am looking to find a new home around June. I would ideally like a house as I would like to get a dog down the track. I work full time, am a non smoker and enjoy social and quiet time too. I am also somewhat flexible with location however my ideal spots are listed. $250 is my max budget and this must include all utilities. I will also need undercover parking (dedicated space for my car) as well as an en-suite.
Moving to Brisbane from the states to get a masters in Econ at UQ. I love travelling, netflixing, pretty much any outdoor activity, art, music, football, rugby, high brow stuff, low brow stuff, unibrow stuff... I enjoy both going out and staying in for a few beers on weekends but nothing crazy, except for when the time calls for it.
