I'm a quiet person but do enjoy being surrounded by positive, happy people. I am very clean/neat and like to cook, go to the gym, read, and listen to music. I am studying Psychological Science at UQ and work weekends as a barista. I am very serious about my study and as such I like the places I live to be peaceful and relaxing.
Hey guys, I've just arrived from Sydney and looking for a room or a team up sometime between late March and early April. I work full time, usually afternoons/nights.. I have an awesome little Dog who I really want to bring with me, but Ive got family to look after him as a last resort. He is super friendly and completely house trained. After work I like to go to the gym, cook up a meal, take the dog out and then chill, usually wasting my time on the internet but also reading or studying Spanish (new years goals). I'm tidy, I find dish washing therapeutic and I'm respectful of peoples privacy but I'm more than glad to share a meal or a drink whenever we can. I can't promise you I'm the best chef to walk the earth but I make my best effort. I'm very easy going. I won't host parties but don't mind at all if you do.. Basically I'm hoping for someone relatively chilled and easy going! Cheers!
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Hi! I'm a Canadian from Vancouver Island, in Brisbane on a working-holiday visa. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, kayaking. Also, wandering around new places looking for funky coffeeshops and nifty shops. Looking for roommates that are sociable as I'll be new in town. But I also enjoy having my own space and time. :)

Student or Intern Accommodation only, please no back packers or professionals, We are looking for 3 full time students or interns to join a mixed gender 5 bedroom share house in Kangaroo Point/East Brisbane. The house is about 25 minutes by bicycle to QUT Gardens Point using the Kangaroo Point cycle path and the Goodwill Bridge, or a 25 min walk to Riverside using the Story Bridge, the city cat ferry stop is about 350 meters away and provides a very convenient way to arrive at uni. Bus stops are also very close, less that 300 meters. You will be sharing with four other house mates, but currently there are only two people living there. A female and a male, both are studying at Q.U.T. One house mate is from the Czech Republic and the other is from Australia. The available rooms: one is very large, 'the best room in the house' and has a double bed. The other is a normal sized bedroom with a double bed and the other is a bit smaller and has a single bed. All linen is provided and all have large wardrobes, a desk/chair and a floor and ceiling fan. The bond is $500.00 and the rent includes unlimited internet, all power and utilities. A large fridge /freezer, one shelf each, a front loading washing machine and a simple galley style kitchen takes care of the survival stuff. Amenities include table tennis, a BBQ and a large laundry with a front loading washing machine. Public Transport (bus and ferry), groceries shops, cafes and takeaways are all a very short stroll away with Mowbray Park at your back door. The house is very conveniently located, less than 1.5 kilometres from the city centre. About You: Only clean and tidy students or interns, no backpackers or workers please. We like to keep the place pretty tidy and expect you will too, everyone chips in on the cleaning duties. A bit of socialising is great and the back deck is perfect for it, but please no party animals, volume freaks or party till dawn people. If this sounds like it could work for you while studying or completing your intern ship please get in touch and we can set up a time for you to drop around and view the house and meet the house mates.
Hi, I'm a 34yo professional that is looking to settle in Brisbane after spending 10 years in Western Australia and 3 years in Victoria. Looking for a place with friendly relaxed people and that is relatively close to the centre of Brisbane so that I can enjoy what this beautiful city has to offer. Although my work for this year is not at present fully locked in, it will likely involve some fieldwork and I would be away for potentially weeks at a time (I'm a geologist). I've spent a lot of my adult life in share houses so it's something that I prefer over living alone. I'm an ambivert....so happy to socialise but also do my own thing depending on what is going on. Although I am a lover of outdoor activities and adventure...I am starting to find myself mellowing in my old age and becoming a bit more of a homebody! I'm not looking for a party house but I can definitely get on board with a get-together or party from time to time. I can go for stretches focused on relaxation and fitness, and then periods where I am intensely focused on hobbies such as hiking/skiing/salsa dancing. I'm open minded and non-judgemental and I try to be positive and supportive of those around me. It's important that I find a chilled, drama-free household with not more than 1-2 other people. If I sound like a good match, please get in touch! Would love to meet you. Open to other suburbs not listed in my profile.
Hi, I'm James and i'm currently study at university. I also have a part time job so, I've been trying to keep good balance between study and work. I'd like to say i'm very flexible and active person. I love spending time with housemates for a coffee or beer when i'm free.
The house has an old exterior but is recently renovated and quite modern inside. We have an open backyard which is perfect for having people over. I’m 22, queer and vegan. I love art, animals, food, philosophy, nature and video games. I'm looking for a room in a place that is preferably vegetarian/vegan based, LGBTQIA+ friendly and close to the city! I am friendly, tidy, and quiet, always on time with rent/bills. I'm looking for a long time home, not just a room for the time being. I am interested in team-ups or joining an already established home. I will be studying full time so the closer to South Bank, the better! Not interested in living with bigots. Thank you!
Hey, I'm looking for room in a sharehouse in Brisbane. I'm a 20 year old, friendly and tidy guy from Germany (near Frankfurt, but I'm actually italian). I'm gonna stay for some months in Australia for a work and travel adventure. I get along easly with most people and wouldn't mind flatmates to share some beers with. I'm a sporty person who loves kickboxing, cooking and IT stuff since I'm a software developer. Hope to find a good oportunity :)
Respectful, easy going, pretty tidy, always pay bills on time :) Full time professional in the city. Brisbane is my home city but I also have lived in Switzerland and a bit of time in Asia. I am pretty independent and enjoy my own space, but at the same time I do like to share a beer/wine and cooking occasionally whilst also pursuing other goals. That is what living in the city is all about right? Having a space for quiet down time is respected, so I keep my social activities in the city and not at home. Hiking, part-time study, sport and travel keep me busy :) Hope to have a housemate who enjoys the vibe and flexibility of living in the inner city. Would prefer to share a place someone with working full-time but am a bit flexible. Looking for a private room, with roof for a desk please. Ok with pets.
Hey potential house-mates and landlords! . I'm looking for a room with a decent amount of space, 4*4 ish (bigger the better), as I don't like living in small rooms and have plenty of things to fill a room with. My ideal place has plenty of grass and trees, high ceilings, a cat or three, a nice view and a happy medium of being in an accessible area and still quite peaceful (not super keen on living on main roads). A casual social environment in the home is also preferred. I would also like to be able to set up my drumkit and other instruments such a harp, guitar, didgeridoo...(weather that be in a my larger room or a garage or similar... and be able to practice a few times a week for an hour or so in the middle of the day/afternoon. I'm generally very considerate with noise and understand that not everyone is keen on being around drumming etc. . I'm Keen on cleaning up after myself, especially in the kitchen/bathroom and communal areas. I like to keep fit and healthy and spend at least monday and wednesday nights out exercising. Into explore nature, doing some photography, dancing, ice skating etc... . I co-facilitate Yin Yoga Sound Healing workshops, do some busking when i'm feeling it, and have some super flexible casual work getting clients for a photographer... amongst a couple of other projects. I'm also studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology part time at UQ, so transport options are going to play an important part in where i want to live. . Feel free to get in touch if you'd like show me what you got, cheers.
