Best Room In The House, a extra large room for Student or Intern accommodation only, no couples or shared rooms please. The house is about 25 minutes by bicycle to QUT Gardens Point using the Kangaroo Point cycle path, a 25 min walk to Riverside using the Story Bridge. A 900 meter walk gets you to the city hopper, the free ferry and you can link up with the free inner city bus loop to get around as well. It's a great place to live while you complete your studies or intern-ship in Australia. It's a mixed gender house and you'll be sharing with four other house mates, currently 3 males and 1 female. The house mates are from Denmark, Germany, Norway and Singapore all full time students at QUT and Griffith. This extra large room is fully furnished with a double bed, an ample wardrobe and a chest of drawers. A study desk, chair and lamp, ceiling and floor fan plus a lounge chair & TV. The French doors lead out to a veranda with a small table and chairs. You share a large bathroom with one other person, currently a female. The rent includes internet, power and utilities; your only extra expenses will be to chip in to a communal fund for cleaning products and other 'disposables' and of course your own food. Shared amenities include table tennis and a BBQ and a large laundry with a front loading washing machine. The house is very conveniently located, less than 1.5 kilometres from the city, about 200 meters to the bus stops and about 400 meters to the ferry terminal. Groceries Shops, Cafes and a Take Aways are all a very short stroll away with Mowbray Park at your back door. There is easy access to the riverfront bike path to QUT and it's about a 25 minute ride. The aim is to provide a quality and supportive environment for you to live in while you undertake your studies or internship in Australia. About You: Only clean and tidy students or interns need apply no backpackers or workers please. There will be no one to pick up after you and cleaning in all the common areas is a shared responsibility. If you like it messy, don't care and are too busy to clean up after yourself, then please look elsewhere as this place is not for you and you will be asked to leave. A bit of socialising is great, but no party animals or volume freaks, the neighbours are close and your house mates are closer, so respect for their privacy and lifestyle is required. In short you will be expected to get on with everyone in the house and share and help look after the common facilities. Single rooms only, sorry no couples or share rooms. If this sounds like it could be suitable place for you then please get in touch and we can set up a time for you to view the room see the house and meet the house mates.
Late 20s female who loves to be active, and to try out new sports / activities. Looking for somewhere clean / tidy / chill to live with off street parking. Love a chat every now and then but also like my own space. Not looking for a party house but would like the option of a friend or two coming round for a drink on the weekend. If you have a dog, I would be very happy to walk it for you! Currently working away from Brisbane one week each month.
Hello Everyone! My name is GeO, I'm from Egypt, 30 yo, lived in Melbourne for 2 years... N I moved to Brisbane 6 months ago and now I'm looking for a house to share and make some more friends 😊.. I'm a traveler/couchsurfer, been to heaps of places around Europe n Middle East and I know what it means to share a house/apartment and even a room. I'm clean and I don't mess up the place around. However, I start work pretty early in the morning and go to gym/training after for an hour or 2 ... Then I'll probably be home doing one or more of the below: - Chilling with housemates - Cooking - Studying - Watching tv shows or movies😃 - Playing card/board games I also play squash once a week, Chinese martial arts 3 times/week and climb stairs (as a sport haha)! I'm very respectful, considerate, quiet and easygoing. I respect the house rules and look for peace :) Thanks for your time reading that! Have a good one 😉
Hey there :) Our housemate is moving on so we are looking for a lovely new house mate to replace her. We are Mel (English) and Dani (Australian) both aged 31, both working full time. We are very friendly and easy going and looking for someone very similar to ourselves. We often hang out together so it would be nice to have someone who fits in and is happy to hangout every so often too. Our house is a lovely town house, very clean, tidy and bright. It is in Longlands St, East Brisbane. Close to The Gabba, Coles and public transport (we have a bus stop at the top of the street, 2mins walk). The room available is medium size, unfurnished however it has a built in wardrobe. It can fit a queen size bed (or smaller if you wish). The room will be available from around 5 March 2017. Rent is $150 per week, paid weekly. Bond is $470. Bills are split between the 3 of us when they arrive (quarterly). Unlimited internet is $20 per month. If you are interested and would like to come and view the room and meet us, please text Mel and we can arrange a time. We look forward to hearing from you :)
I am a laid back, very clean and tidy, fun loving and busy professional who enjoys downtime as well as being active and social. I am very courteous and am looking for people to live with who might like to do things together but also have their own lives and interests. I would also prefer to not live with couples, have my own bathroom and have a furnished property but am definitely open to otherwise if the property and people seem a good fit. As I will be overseas until mid February, I am not looking for anywhere prior to the beginning to mid-March. So I also apologise in advance for delays in my reply. Thanks! And happy searching!

I just got to Brisbane from Brazil. I'll be starting a masters a QUT. I am looking for a single bedroom (ensuite bathroom) to move in during the first week of march, when I'll be leaving the place I am right now. I expect to find a place where I can have some privacy to study, but also enjoy some time with friends occasionally.
Hi, I'm Emily :-) I am a young professional looking for accommodation near my work in Bulimba. SOUTH SIDE ONLY (I hate tolls and traffic - but don't we all??) I work full time and attend evening classes at uni so I am rather busy. I am in my final year at uni studying Business majoring in Advertising and Marketing and need a housemate who is respectful and mindful of my commitments and will not be excessively noisy or often have parties. I have most weekends off as I also work casually at Bunnings on Saturdays. On the weekends I do have off, if I'm not studying, I love to draw, paint, bake and get out and about and explore Brisbane :-) I don't have any pets but would love to get a dog if cicumstances allowed! Although I love pets, I am allergic to cats and would not be able to live with one. I am in a relationship and I would like for my boyfriend to stay some nights. I would also be spending some nights at his. I am very flexible with move in dates as I am currently living with family. It is essential that my bedroom has air conditioning as I have a health condition that is aggravated by heat. I am very respectful of other people's possessions and space and like to keep my space clean and tidy. Furnished or unfurnished doesn't bother me as I have furniture but can leave it with family.
Looking for a new place that better suits me. I'm a full time professional. Am social, easy going, accustomed to share housing. I'm clean and quiet (as a housemate), super easy to live with. I like to head out on weekends, get to the coast as often, and am an active person, mostly during the week. Would like flatmates that I can call friends as well :) Move date is flexible.
2 friends. One doing her Masters in Psych and working part time. One recently graduated from law and doing her PLT and working full time. Very social, fun and friendly :) Both love exercise, socialising and wine :) One beautiful dog.
24 year old female, professional, works in HR monday to friday, very clean. Looking for a female roommate/roommates that have a similar lifestyle, work but like to have some friends over on weekends or a cheeky wine after work!

Looking for a share house. We are an aussie couple 30 and 27, work fulltime and looking for a house that we can bring our 2 small cocker spaniels. (Both under 13kg) Desexed and trained but needy of affection. Needing fully fenced and hopefully a dishwasher too. Around brisbane redlands, redcliffe, not particularly fond of houses too close together and ontop of eachother where its claustrophobic. Like a yard and breeze, a chat and chill. Before possibly moving overseas for a while in 2018. If this sounds like who youd been keen on sharing your house let me know :-) or if you have a single rental optional too.
The flat is located to 15 minutes from the CBD (city) by bus, has a balcony, TV, two bus stop (2 minutes walking), Ferry Station (6 minutes walking), Mowbray Park (in front of the flat) where you can make your BBQ and arrange a party. It is a quite place because neighbours live far away. Internet wifi, gas, electricity and water included in the rent. Additionally, there is an IGA (supermarket - 5 minutes away), several restaurants located around it (from 2 to 10 minutes away), bottle shop, coffee shop and Pharmacy. If you have any question do not hesitate to ask me.
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained & clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook, philosophize over a drink and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. I’m a feminist dude and proud of it, though it’s not about telling people they’re wrong in their views so much as demonstrating with kindness and empathy that other views exist. I’m big on being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective. That said, Socratic method only goes so far in a group house, if you don’t know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place.
We are a couple esay-going who loves cooking, drink a cup of wine, don't like parties at home and we respect others cultures/religions. We are studying a business course and working so we won't be a lot of time in house... Only some afternoons, for dinner, breakfast and sleep every day 😃. We love meet other people but also respect their privacy. If you are interested in have 2 flatmates like us, send us a message and we would be happy to agree a visit! Cheers!!
Hey guys! I am a 22 yo student from France and I'll be studying IT-related topics at QUT (Gardens Point) for 4 months. I have been moving to Australia alone and I really like meeting new people and places! I'm really sociable (as long as my English skills can follow, though), I also like hanging out with friends to have a beer on a terrace. I know how to cook French food (with wine, ofc), I like to keep my room and kitchen clean and tidy (no worries, I'm not a maniac!). Outdoors is where I like spending most of my time, whether it be for hiking, kiteboarding or just wandering around. Especially when the weather is as nice as the one in Brisbane! Hope to seeing you guys soon!

Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm looking for flatmates to live with around the inner western suburbs! I am currently working full time as a Speech Pathologist, but also spend 2-3 nights a week studying my Masters degree at UQ. I am a very social person and will always make time for hanging out with my friends if the opportunity presents itself. Although I'm very busy, I'll happily squeeze in a drink or two on the weekends, and enjoy making/listening to music, playing netball, and wishing I was on my next trip! (I love to travel.. especially where there's snow and mountains). I'd like to think I'd make a great housemate - I'm clean, considerate, and always respectful of my surroundings. I take ownership of my responsibilities as a human, and would always pay bills on time/ensure my duties are always fulfilled! I also consider myself to be quite a relaxed person, and don't get too caught up on the little things (I try to see the big picture!), so although I'm clean and tidy, I don't get anal about things easily. I'm looking to share a house/apartment with like minded individual/s, open to making new a new friend :)
I'm 22 years old originally from Perth. Moved to the Gold Coast about 6 months ago and now looking for a place in Brisbane closer to my new full-time job. I am friendly, easy going and tidy.
