Hey brissy legends, I'm Laura. I just got back from 2 years travelling and figure it's about time I start doing life again! I'm originally from Melbourne but spent my last couple of years in Australia enjoying the NSW coast. I've always been keen for a life in Brissy so here I am!! I'm a pretty chill person when it comes to living, I just don't like living in a mess. I work in the travel industry so a lot of my time will be spent booking in holidays for people at the office and well, when I'm not doing that most likely enjoying the events the industry puts on. I look forward to my weekends so I can escape to the beach, catch up with friends, etc. Definately not afraid of a good ollllll chinwag but also am mindful and respectful of peoples space. Would love to be around other like minded house mates that enjoy a catch up and a drink every now and again. Stoked if I gain some pals
I'm a Brazilian chef who spent the last 13 years traveling arround the world cooking and chasing good food. I'm very calm guy (cause the kitchen is crazy enough) and I really enjoy a good chat with some beers or a glass of wine. I like to socialize a lot but I need my time alone too. Whatever I'm a good person, hard worker, clean and polite. I'm in Brisbane to study and work a bit. It would be a pleasure find a nice house with nice housemates to live at this amazing place.
Needing a place to call home! We are very clean, neat and tidy. Always pay our bills on time. We are trustworthy, reliable and respectful.
I am a 3rd year UQ student looking for accommodation near UQ. I am responsible, mature, friendly and easy-going. Generally speaking I like music, movies and having a light hearted chat. I'm looking for a clean and enjoyable living environment and would be interested in any team-ups.
I'm looking around Hawthorne, East Brisbane, Norman Park, Bulimba and Balmoral. But willing to expand my scope into the Eastern and Southern suburbs. I do have a car, I would like a place where I can park it. I work full time in the city and lead a fairly active/social life. Always happy to share with likeminded people who are outgoing, easy going and clean (not OTT). I want a place that I look forward to going home to. Some of my likes include road trips, travel, hiking, chilling at home with some good food and drink and a good movie. If you're interested drop me a line :)
About me: Hey guys, I'm a 22 year old barista who works 4 or 5 days a week. Pretty easy going and don't mind a chat. Looking for some rad new people to take me in as part of their household. I'm down for movie nights and housemate dinners too. As well as being a mean coffee maker, I have a background in cooking so I'll whip up a mad feast every now and then and am happy to share. In my spare time I like to chill out at home and watch Netflix (attenbro or some murder docos/series) or play some games. What I'm after: A room with atleast a ceiling fan so I don't perish in Brisbane heat. Looking to move in somewhere between the 18th-20th ish of Feb. I drive so ideally would like easy parking. If you have pets, I definitely don't have a problem with getting to live with adorable doggos and kitty cats as long as you respect my need to pat them :)
Cute little townhouse with private courtyard. Room is a decent size with carpets & mirrored built ins and a shared balcony. Bathroom is shared with one other person. Lounge room has air con and there are good ceiling fans in each room, plus a spare room so your friends or family can stay a night! Complex has a pool and BBQ area.
Most of the time I am extremely quiet and conscientious, and spend a lot of time out of the house either working or studying in my room (BEnvSci student at Griffith University). In saying that i'm very personable and am always down for a chat when other roommates are around. Live music is my lifeblood and am always down to go see a gig if that's what you're into. I also DO NOT own a car, so being close to several modes of public transport would be a plus :) which also means I wont take up any valuable street or off-street parking you may have!
Hello! I am from Brisbane and looking for a place in close proximity to CBD and I have listed my preferred suburbs below. I will be flexible with moving before Feb 5th. Currently I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly, introvert, down to earth, trustworthy, tidy, clean and respect your privacy and space. My hobbies are fitness, modelling, photography, volunteering, road trips and camping. If I am someone suitable please contact me. Cheers
I'm an American med student coming back to QLD for a 4th year rotation. I'm quiet, clean, enjoy kicking back and having a beer sometimes but I'll mostly be working, studying and skyping with my family in the US.
Hey future housemates, I'm Alex and I'm looking for my next home as my lease is up in my current sharehouse in mid Feb. I've been in a couple of sharehouses now and am looking for a place for at least 6 months, preferably a year, while I finish up the last year of my Business/Law degree. I'd like to live in a house rather than an apartment and I like to have a backyard or deck - need somewhere to chill out in the fresh air and put all my plants that live in my homemade pots. I like to keep it fairly quiet during the week with my work, study and sport. I play a bit of netball, touch footy and like to swim. Would be a plus if I found a housemate who would like to join me at the gym. On the weekends, I'll usually be out and about with friends and like to unwind with few drinks. I'm really looking for housemates I can be friends with - I enjoy chatting over tea, watching Netflix or playing some house board games. I also come with a little cat called Clive who my previous housemates have all loved and accepted as our extra housemate. I'll need a room that can fit a double bed, desk and wardrobe at least (off street parking would also be great but not essential). I've always enjoyed living in sharehouses with 3 or more people. If you've got a room that sounds like would be a good fit or if you're interested in teaming up to start a new place, I can't wait to hear from you.
ROOM FOR RENT WELLINGTON RD, EAST BRISBANE I have recently moved into a new 2 bed 2 bath apartment in East Brisbane. I am an easy going introverted geek. I value being healthy and spending time in nature. I have a sweet, obedient , cat submissive dog with me who is my dependent. Hi everyone :) I'll be moving to Brisbane this February to study my masters in Social Work. I'm 27 (nearly 28), originally from Mullumbimby in Northern NSW, very friendly, down to earth, respectful of others, and a non smoker/drinker (however I don't have a problem with those that do). I've just returned to Australia after living in Indonesia for the last 5 years, and would love to find a sharehouse that feels like a real home, with housemates who are kind-hearted, and enjoy sitting down together for a cup of tea and a good chat. Hoping to find a room in West End or surrounding inner city suburbs. I can afford $175/week INCLUDING bills.
I'm a 22 year old Norwegian studying film and television at Griffith University South Bank. Generally I'm very easy going, clean and tidy person, don't smoke, up for a beer once in a while or maybe some wine and cookies, I also don't mind any animals. I can offer good food and if you're curious I can teach you how to swear in Norwegian. the places I've listed are only suggestions. If you have a place that's a bit far away from South bank but close to a bus station or train station you're more than welcome to shoot me a message. I'm looking for a nice welcoming place with 1-3 people living there who don't mind chatting a few times but are also respectful of privacy. Hopefully looking for a room with a double/queen/king sized bed as I am 6'6 Currently I'm in Norway and will be back in Australia on the 22nd February, So wont be available by phone
I'm a 25 year old accountant looking for inner-city accommodation. I'm a non-smoker who enjoys yoga, rock climbing, listening to triple j, netflix series, going to gigs and tending to her succulents. I have my own bedroom furniture so am after something unfurnished. I love animals so am fine with dogs or cats. Love to have a chat and beer/wine while at home but also have my own social life and hobbies :)
About the home: **Genuine enquiries only** Semi self contained general living areas. Located just a short walk from Mowbray Park. My two bedroom, bottom floor unit in East Brisbane is secluded just off Lytton Road (actually quiet), and a short walk from bus stop, bottle shop, post office and IGA Supermarket. It is tastefully furnished with a lovely landscaped rear courtyard to enjoy all year round and a fully capable kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, cooking accessories etc). There is an internal laundry with a washing machine and Dryer I'm happy to share, and there is a clothes line in the rear courtyard. The room for rent is queen size with built in cupboards (unfurnished), and you will have your own master bathroom and private rear courtyard. There is plenty of personal and shared storage space. Must but be pet friendly - no cats or dogs allowed sorry. We have high speed naked DSL with wireless access secured, with unlimited data. While personal transport is not necessary as Bus /Citycat services and walking distances are so convenient here, if you have private transport there are ample parking spaces available in the body corp car park. About household: I'm a happy and friendly single gay guy in my mid 30's with a quirky sense of humor. I work at the airport on shifts so please be patient. I like to keep my house clean, tidy and organised, but am not overly pedantic about temporary mess. Our complex is quiet and relaxing as is the household, so it's perfect for the city or suburb commuter who likes to come home and not worry about parties carrying on or people coming and going all day. The common areas of the house are an open space but must always be left clean and tidy when you're done. The common areas are where we both relax and enjoy company, so I'd prefer if it was not used for personal storage. Your friends, partner and family are always welcome visitors. Bills are always paid on time or in advance where applicable. Cost of Electricity,Gas, Internet/phone and common household consumables is extra and split 50/50 (see at bottom). Ideal flatmate: I'm looking for a friendly, co-operative, quiet and easy going flat mate who knows the value of openness. Someone over 23 would be preferable. I like to pay bills before they're due or on time. You will need to be employed during your lease as unemployment is not acceptable. I only usually share basic groceries like milk and cleaning products so you will need to provide for yourself in that regard. However if either of us wish to cook something together I'm happy to pitch in so we can enjoy a meal together and vice versa. I don't particularly mind how you keep your personal space in your room just so long as it doesn't smell etc.. Must be gay friendly and pet tolerant. No other pets allowed due to body corp and landlord rules. This is a no smoking household. Min. stay 6 to 12 months bond is 4wks rent + 2wks in advance + each person pays $130 a month covers all bills have own bathroom Unfurnished bedroom self contained living areas

I have a good sense of humour, honest, reliable and like my privacy and respect others. I like to keep fit and healthy and usually leave for the gym at 5.30am during the week. I love going for mountain bike rides on the weekend. I am looking for a place that has secure storage for my two bikes. I have my bedroom furniture plus a few extra items. I also have a small car but need to be close to public transport for work. Ideally I would like to live with only one or two people. Not looking for a party house as I like my space and down time.
