Hey all, Looking for a place closer to the city. I love to be social but understand that people want their downtime as well. I have run a share house for over a year so I know what is required when so many different personalities live together in a house and the importance of being respectful to others and keeping things clean. I'm friendly and easy going! Keen to come check out some of the rooms for rent. Cheers!
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!

I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)

I am an Italian-American student coming on exchange to UQ for Semester 1 of 2017 from McGill University in Canada. I am studying Geography, with minors in French and Economics, and I enjoy traveling, videography, music, and trying new foods. I am looking to share a house with some flatmates near campus! :) Hoping to find a great group of 3-4 other students to live with - either returning students or other exchange students - just looking for a fun group of people!
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
I'm a clean, considerate and fairly quiet housemate, but I definitely love house dinners and going out and having fun. I work part-time at an alcoholic beverage seller and study full-time at QUT. I'm friendly so long as you are friendly to me.
I'm a friendly 24 year old guy, who has just moved to Brisbane from the UK. I graduated University in 2014, since then i have done a fair bit of traveling in South America and Asia and am now here to see what Australia has to offer, I enjoy meeting new people of all nationalities and am very open minded. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, watching sport and enjoying a beer with friends. I also love nature and wildlife. I am looking to stay in Brisbane until March/April time before heading down the East coast to visit friends and family.
I'm looking to make a move to Brisbane to study. I am clean and sociable, but also like to keep to myself when I am studying. I will also be working casually so I probably won't be in the house very much.
I'm Kelly - 29 - Looking for a place to share closer to work as I have started a new job in Murarrie. I'm really fun and easy going. I like to go to the gym and eat healthy foods and whip up my green juices. With that being said, I also love to eat out and try new foods. I am not a party animal by any means, but sometimes would like to have friends over for wine & cheese etc and I do enjoy going out to a nice bar for a few drinks. I work in the Events industry Mon-Fri and sometimes the odd weekend. I would totally respect your space and I am very clean and Tidy! I'm pretty busy most weekends catching up with friends and family and love to get out and about. Can't say I'm every really home too much on weekends. I would love to find a room mate who can also be my friend, enjoy a chit chat, wine or go out to breakfast etc every now and again.
I'm a 19 year old male who recently moved from NSW to Brisbane just trying to meet new people and enjoy life. Currently working part time, mon to thur from 4 til midnight. Looking for a place to stay or someone to move into a new place with. Preferably around my age. I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself but also enjoy a good drink. I like to stay clean and tidy and would like to stay somewhere modern.
I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. I plan on travelling for the month of December and coming back to Brisbane towards the start of the new year and am looking for accommodation. I'm very friendly, easy going and good for a conversation. I would like to move to a social household who work during the week but enjoy the weekends. Things I like doing in my spare time would be going to the beach, having drinks with friends and going on weekend trips! I'm clean, reliable with rent and respect others property and privacy as well. That's myself on the right in the pic by the way! :) I'm pretty open as to where I live when I move back to Brisbane once it's within a reasonable commute to the city :) If I sound like I'd be a good fit for your place don't hesitate to give me a message and we can go from there! :) Cheers!

We have a medium sized room available in our huge 5 bedroom East Brisbane Queenslander (although only 4 are used, 1 is a spare). The room is $700 a month and bills are split between the 4 housemates. Cheapest room you will find in this area! This big beautiful house boasts a huge kitchen, 2 large verandas (one with views of the city), 2 bathrooms, a backyard, a garage for storage, and 2 living areas. The room has a built in wardrobe and is big enough to fit a queen sized bed and a desk. There is one car park (shared by the housemates) and plenty of street parking. The house is only a 5 minute walk from Mowbray Park and the river, as well as the city-cat/ferry and plenty of public transport. It is a 2 minute drive to the city and the valley. You would be sharing with 3 other fantastic people in their mid 20s - 2 boys (Luke and Andrew) and a girl (Sophia). We all work full-time and like to share the occasional drink/dinner on the veranda. We are all very respectful and clean and are looking for a like minded housemate. We are ideally looking for a female in their mid 20s who works full time. The bond is $600.
Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats, drugs and dislike the effects of alcohol (it changes people). I don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but i have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
