I’m Islay, I’m 28 and originally from the northern beaches of Sydney. I've spent the last 9 years living in share houses (in Newcastle and Sydney), so I consider myself a well-trained housemate! I'm a creative person who loves dance music/events, charity shopping/ upcycling clothes, pickling and lots of other random bits! For the last 6 months, I’ve been travelling around the UK working for a glamping company, setting up tents at festivals. I have met so many amazing like minded people doing this and basically want to continue this on in Melb! I’d love to move into a house where I can make some friends and meet people, whilst also respecting each other’s space! I am in the process of applying for a job (probably hospo or disability support), but also have savings ready for the move/bond. I love exploring new places, being snugged up with a good movie, series, book or anime! I enjoy almost all fun (outdoor) activities, be it hiking, skiing, cycling, running, climbing, social dancing (Salsa or lindy hop) - you name it. I gave up calisthenics due to lack of discipline mostly and prioritizing other hobbies, friends and family but happy to be dragged along if you wish a workout buddy. I'm curious about Victoria, so I plan on doing some weekend trips to explore the region. I might naturally be a little messy (leaving a few things around now and then) but I'll try my best to keep it at a minimum, and I'm clean (!), respectful, and reliable, sometimes a little chatty when I feel comfortable and social enough to have a common dinner sometimes or a good conversation and a laugh over a cup of tea or a drink. I like going out for a casual dinner / coffee / drinks in a bar / concert and occasionally invite friends but I'm not a party girl, so no party house pls. I highly appreciate my own space and time to cuddle up in my room or on the sofa, listen to a good music/audiobooks and do a creative project, read an interesting book or go out for a stroll at the beach .
