Melodie
$280/week•34 year old woman
Hey Flatmates! My name is Melody, and I’m currently looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. I moved here about 6 months ago and am urgently searching for a new place to call home. I’m a reliable, tidy, and respectful flatmate who always pays rent on time. I’ve lived in shared houses before and really value creating a comfortable and harmonious living environment. I work in a hotel doing conferences and events, and I enjoy a calm, positive home atmosphere. I like keeping things clean and organized — it's important to me that everyone feels good at home. In my free time, I love exploring local markets, enjoying good coffee or wine, and trying new foods (I'm a big foodie!). I'm also passionate about music, concerts, and traveling. I enjoy spending time with housemates but also really value having some quiet time to myself. I'm looking for a room ideally not more 25–30 minutes away from CBD, with a weekly budget of around $250–280. If you have a room available or know of anything coming up, I’d love to hear from you. Thank you so much in advance!

Julia
$350/week•29 year old woman
I'm Julia and I'm currently looking for a cozy home. I'm originally from Germany but have been living abroad broad for quite a while now. I was in London for five years and now in Melbourne for the past two years. I'm pretty easy-going and have lived in shared houses before. Therefore, I do appreciate a respectful living situation where everyone can enjoy their downtime, but equally I'm open to the occasional flat dinners with a glass of wine movie nights :) In my spare time I'm quite active and always on the move - I love exploring new places, hiking, camping, swimming, watching sports (especially American football, spending way too much time on my fantasy league) and trying new meals with my friends. I just started a new role within HR over in Port Melbourne and I’ll be working hybrid with a couple of days in the office per week. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Tom
$300/week•26 year old man
Hi, I'm Tom, I'm 26 and originally from the north east of England, but later moved down to London to study film at uni. I've been in Australia since January and am looking to find somewhere to settle down for a while after travelling for most of the last two years. I generally work as a chef but have done some film/TV work too and I'll be looking to find some work in that field over in Melbourne while I'm there. Outside of work I love to travel, hiking, running, massive film and music nerd, always happy with a games night too. Very easy going and tidy about the house.

Caitlin
$320/week•24 year old woman
Hey! My name is Caitlin, I’m 24 years old, from the Netherlands and currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. Over the past month I’ve travelled along the East Coast, and now I’d love to settle in Melbourne and work full time till April 2026. I’m looking for a private room in a lively neighbourhood with social flatmates. It would be great to do things together sometimes, like going for a thrift, grab a coffee or enjoy the sun in a park. As a flatmate, I’d really value sharing activities together, but I also respect personal space when someone prefers to wind down at home. I’m reliable, keep my commitments, and enjoy living in a clean and queer friendly environment. Love, Caitlin
