Hi I am a perpetually single mum (by choice), with an 8 year old son. We are looking to share a fabulous large house with two living areas, providing us each with private spaces, and plenty of storage. I’d prefer to stay reasonably close to Monbulk for my son. But I need to move by 2nd Oct, so I’m also looking further afield. Looking to share with an empathic, easy going, intelligent, tolerant, mature and stable person. My son has special needs, and requires a stable, calming enviornment. He is very outgoing, and friendly, but can be sensitive at times. He loves Beyblades, gemstones, dancing and being a ninja. We can be a bit chaotic and messy at times, therefore looking for a large place with a good layout e.g. 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms, that is easy to keep tidy. Would also like a good outdoor area. I like my privacy, but I am sociable and a good conversationalist. I spend a lot of time reading, researching, listening to the radio and podcasts. I have a background in Sociology and gender studies, personal care and student rights work. I am interested in most things especially culture, society, philosophy, psychology and even pointless trivia. I love dancing, and am partial to some good pumping beats, ecstatic dance. I don't go out much these days, and am welcoming of visitors, but am not interested in a party house. I am fair-minded and considerate of others. I'm currently on a pension and studying part-time, and looking for part-time work. I am financially stable and always pay rent and bills in advance. As we may be at home more than you I would negotiate to pay a higher share of utilities. I like things to be be agreed in advance, fair and reasonable. I have an impeccable rental history, long tenancies, and always pay my rent in advance. I used to smoke, now vape. Smokers ok, but only outside. I don't drink or take drugs but I'm tolerant of occasional drinkers, but no drugs please. My party days are over! I'm not a green thumb or very handy person. So would like a low maintenance property and/ or gardener included. Even better, I’d be open to share costs to hire a gardener and/or cleaner on a monthly basis. Also happy to negotiate fair rent in return for home help. Looking for someone who works part-time or full-time. Will consider another single parent with a child. I'm only interested in long term rentals. Pets ok. Honesty and clear communication is a must. Hope to hear from you soon!
Will be a new graduate veterinarian who is outgoing and loves outdoor activities. I'd like to think I'm easy to live with (pretty tidy person) and am looking to make new friends as well as finding housemates ! Originally from Melbourne, but moved to QLD for university. Am now returning upon graduation and taking up a veterinary position. *Note I do have a very well trained and lovely dog (can be an outside dog) that's making the move with me !
- I’m friendly, reliable, happy to chat or be in my own space. I have a 20 yr. old cat called Myka that comes with me. He”s friendly and laid back like me 😊 I’m holistically/spiritually centered. Non judgmental. I thrive in nature which is why I’m looking in the areas I’ve listed. Just generally, I’m a peaceful person, and I take life as an adventure and something I can always learn from ( no matter what is happening). Love to get to know people
Hello! My names Lauren I’m really hoping to find my dream house and housemates! I’m wanting to be apart of a bright, happy home with warm and welcoming individuals who want to create a bit of a housemate family. Cooking together at times, the odd movie night and cups of tea chats! I of course like my own space and all the rest, but I want to be apart of a house that’s feels warm and cozy and I love coming home too - and that’s really all about who you live with! I’m interested in art, painting, music, photography. I adore nature and trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I love learning about different topics and world events and educating myself constantly. Dog lovers would be the ideal if not essential, as the catch with me is I come with one! But she’s the most beautiful dog, well behaved and very cuddly. She does shed some hair but I keep on top of it best I can! So somewhere I can bring my dog is essential! I also come with a keyboard and a ukulele. I have my own things but a bed in a room would be ideal. I would not want to be apart of a party house or people who drink heavily etc. no drugs.. you get the picture :) hoping to live with no more than two others if possible! (I seem to get messages from people with kids, i would not be keen to live with children at this stage, so if that’s you please count me out if you’ve read this far and want to message, thank you :))
Hola amigos, I am looking for a temporary place to stay around the hills until my partner and I find a house to rent. It could be a few weeks or a couple of months but probably nothing long term. I am quiet, respectful, vegan (if it counts) and I spend most of the time at work, drawing or going out into nature to take photos. The place will only be for me so if you do have a spare room/space I would really appreciate you letting me know. I don't have much stuff so a little place would also work. Gracias!
I'm quiet, neat, respectful and like my own space but also up for connection and good conversation on the occasion. I bring a calm balanced energy with me and like to maintain this as much as possible, not up for a party house. I also bring a fury friend with me who goes by the name of Lynx (3yr old male cat), he also enjoys his own space and is a little anxious in meeting new people but will warm to the right people (much like his owner). I also have a 16yr old daughter that doesn't currently live with me but will visit on the occasion. She is also neat and respectful (sometimes not to her mother) but always to others. I'm currently in transition and not working as yet but will be looking to once settled in. In the mean time happy to keep the house clean, cook and do extra around the house whilst looking. I'm into gardening, cooking, yoga, being environmentally friendly, I lean to the left of center and am passionate about social justice and I love, love, love to dance!
I am friendly, quiet and work full-time (office hours). I love cooking and sharing my cooking :) I enjoy creative activities, reading and spending time with my family, friends and church community. I am looking for a room with an en suite for myself and my 2 cats - both are older, indoor-only girls who sleep a lot and don't need to leave my room/ensuite or be in anyone's way. I have been renting on my own for years and have decided I would love a housemate who is independent (like me) but is up for a chat or a meal sometimes. I look forward to hearing from you :)
I pride myself on being considerate and respectful of others rights, privacy, belongings and choices. "Live and let live" is one my favourite mottos. Feeling safe, comfortable and free to be myself in my own home and for others to feel the same (if sharing) is of utmost importance to me. I tend to get along with all sorts of people really easily. I'm reliable and responsible in terms of paying rent/bills on time and cleaning/caring for my home. I love my work!...... entertaining and educating young children about and through music and various childcare centres. It involves a bit of preparation at home so any extra space/cupboards for all my props/instruments etc would be great! Then I have several regular short gigs each week all during business hours so I do a fair bit of coming and going during the day and often have rehearsals in the evening too. It's all pretty high energy work so when at home, I usually enjoy taking it easy; making/eating a good meal, watching a good series or reading a good book in the bath. I love spending time with my friends and my family, especially my niece and nephew and hope they would be welcome to visit for a coffee/meal/catch up or just to hangout occasionally. Despite being pretty easy going, my only real request is to live in an alcohol/drug free home. For this reason my preference is to have my own private self sufficient space. However, I am also open to sharing accommodation if I can find the right fit. I've been lucky enough to have an amazing share house experience in the past so I know how great it can be when you get the right mix. It also means I have references! While I do enjoy some quiet time to myself, I'm happy to have a chat too. Whatever makes all those in the household comfortable!
Hey there, Being a people's person, I love making new friends and meeting new people. I generally like a quiet place, love to cook and to be creative. I like to keep clean, fit and am a mad fan of the outdoors. So I'm always on the hunt for places near awesome walks and forests. I occasionally work from home and in the city making digital product videos and short films, so I would be in and out quite often. In my spare time I would either be making music (with a headset :p), drawing, or out shooting film with some friends. Thanks for checking out my profile!
I love cooking, so there will always be something yummy on the go, you won't see much of kael, he is very computer oriented. Kirk does workouts and is very physically active. He is always happy for a workout partner.
Hi there :) I'm told I'm calming to be around. What I bring to a household is someone who cleans up after themselves and respects other people's things. I'm very considerate and very easy to live with. I can be an introvert or an extrovert depending on who I'm around and the situation, but regardless, I'm polite. I don't drink alcohol because for some reason my body has decided to become intolerant, but I'm fine with others drinking. I'm looking for a place with one or two people. Someone who is relaxed, self-aware, considerate and easy to live with (like myself). If you are looking for someone who fits my description and offer a peaceful, welcoming home environment, I'd love to hear from you :) Price and location is negotiable, I've just put an estimate. * Just so you know: I'm an empath so I need to live with calm, balanced, non-racist and non-homophobic people. I also have chronic fatigue and a lot of food allergies, so I need to live with people who can be ok with that and not put me down about it like some people I've lived with have. Thanks :)
