As an upcoming exchange student at University of Melbourne from the Netherlands currently living in a sharehouse with 7 flatmates/friends in Delft, I would be very excited to join a Melbourne sharehouse! A bit about myself: I am a 23 year old water resources engineering student at Delft university of technology in the Netherlands. Besides studying I love spending my time slacklining/ running/ listening to (Malinese) music/ drinking coffee/ woodworking in our student share-workshop/ cooking/ eating/ riding my bicycle/ photographing/ going to live bands/ hiking in the mountains/ bouldering etc etc etc I am very used to living with flatmates (for the past 5 years) and although in my current house everybody does there own thing, we do eat together often (My current flatmates confirm my enthusiast (vegan) cooking abilities) or build something for the shared space (besides up cycling also building furniture!), share plant cuttings, go hitchhiking and much more:) I also realise the importance of a cleaning schedule.. hihi in our house, people tend to hangout in the shared space much more when it is tidy. Besides studying I am still looking for a part time job in Melbourne but to keep the costs low I am looking for an affordable room so do not mind a small room size. Since my exchange got confirmed I have been dreaming about moving to a van for my last months in Australia after studying, so a place with a yard to fit out the van would be superbe! In exchange the van would have two free seats to go for weekend gataways!
