Hi I’m Jack 🙂 I’m a Heavy Vehicle driver, and I’m on an extended break from work due to an elbow injury. Might take a few months to heal and then I’d be back to work I’m on a Government Pension until I’m back to work On weekends I’m usually away from home and working on different projects. In my spare time, I spend time with my two young daughters who stay with their mum. I don’t smoke and don’t drink alcohol - I have no issues if other flatmates want to do those things. I respect others boundaries and privacy. If you have a furnished/unfurnished room that is in Reservoir, I would be interested to hear from you. I have written and verifiable real estate references, if needed. Any questions, just please msg or call Have an awesome day/night 🙂 Thanks - Jack.

Got the dreaded rent increase, so looking at dipping my toes back into the flatshare scene. I'm looking along the 902 and 903 bus routes and the Mernda line, as I work in Thomastown. General idea is to be 2-2.5km from any given stop. Open to expanding to the Craigieburn line so long as I can get to either Broadmeadows or Essendon station easy enough for my connection. I am looking to share a 4bed 2 bath (or a 3bed with a study/rumpus/some other secret third option that can be converted into a functional space) with one (1) person. This way we each get 2 rooms and a bathroom to microdose the Australian dream of renting a place on our own. Budget for this size is in the $400-700 range for a house but obviously the lower the better so we're paying less ($200-350 each). As you may have guessed, I do not have a car, so any car space the house may have is all yours. As I have dogs, I'm happy to take care of the lawns and gardens since my kids are the ones making all the mess. I also have a pension card, so happy for utilities to be in my name so we get those sweet sweet discounts. About me: turning 30 in a couple weeks, gay, trans. Don't smoke or vape and don't use drugs. Have a drink after work but nothing hectic. Tend to keep to myself, but if you catch me in a common area then happy to have a yap. Perhaps one of three millennials that still watches free-to-air TV. I work 3 days a week in heavy industry, and when not at work I usually have my nose in a book or have a movie of questionable quality on in the background (or sometimes both). Single dad of 2 dogs and at least 7 houseplants. My dad comes down to Melbourne every 2-3 months for a night for work and he crashes on my couch instead of using a hotel, but I'll always give you a heads up so you don't come home unaware to Some Guy in the house. I like a house "lived in"; as long as the bathrooms and kitchen is tidy and no food or dishes or snotty tissues are lying around I can be pretty easy. Life happens, chores don't always happen weekly. About you: guy or gal in their mid-20s or older, also not smoking or vaping. What you do on a night out is between you and god, but I don't particularly want drugs in the house. You might be studying or working or both, I don't really care, so long as it's chill vibes and you pay your rent on time. No cats/rodents/pocket pets, my dogs have a prey drive. Reptiles/amphibians/fish okay, not jazzed on birds, your dad can also crash on the couch if he needs to If you think we might vibe then feel free to hit me up and we can catch up for a yarn :)
