Hi there! Sadly I am looking for someone to fill my room in this beautiful, airy Queenslander in Fairfield (inner city/south Brisbane). Myself and my 2 housemates Sarah & Annie have had the pleasure of being the first people to live in this home (beginning Jan 2017) since it has been renovated and it has in no way disappointed. The house is in the most convenient location with a train station at the end of the street and a small shopping complex (also with bus stops) including coles, etc. one street behind! And there is also off street parking to park your car in the rarely large driveway. There is also a very generous sized yard with a small deck and vegetable patch we have added ourselves. The room as pictured above comfortably fits a queen bed, draws, bedside table etc. and there is a ceiling fan. All of the other living areas are also quite spacious and there is room for storage under the house. The windows in the room open into the sunroom area at the front of the house. I am only moving from this property due to moving in with my partner however like I said above I cannot stress the convenience of location for anyone working or studying in the inner city area! Please note: updated pictures of the room will be uploaded asap & move in date is very flexible and can be negotiated.
I’m looking for someone to share this gorgeous, spacious Queenslander home with. It's a 2 bedroom home, plus a spare room/study, a big lounge room, a dining room, 3 decks, a massive undercover lockable storage / work space area and a large leafy & private garden. It's on a quiet leafy street - but is super close and accessible to public transport and shops: 5minutes walk to Fairfield train station and bus routes on Annerley Rd; 7minutes walk to Fairfield Shops and walkable to UQ. It's a very friendly neighbourhood too. The house is in really good condition, with lovely floorboards throughout, a relatively new paint job, a large kitchen with a gas stove, and some beautiful trimmings and stained glass windows. I like to live in a comfy, relaxed and welcoming home - where there are places to relax and chill out and have quiet time, and spaces to have friends over to share a meal and a drink or two. I'd prefer to live with someone who wants to share a home (not just 'rent a room'). It'd be good to share a meal once a week or so. Rent will be $252.5/week - the whole house is $495/week). You'll have the larger room. In terms of the spare room, I'm open to ideas for how we use it - a shared study; a guestroom; or if you want exclusive use of it as a study that's ok too (we can work out the rent split accordingly) The room is ready from Friday 13th April (hope you're not superstitious) You'll need to either be an 'approved tenant' or to go on the lease with me.
Own Room, Annerley, $155/week, Female only There are currently three people sharing this house including a female UQ Ph.D. student and an Australian male English tutor so we are looking for another lady to share with us. We are a little community and it is essential everyone is friendly, respects each other, and contributes to household harmony by doing their household duties. Quiet, convenience and safety, easy distance to buses, trains, shops UQ, QUT and city as well as the chance to speak English are the main attractions of our good quality international sharehouse. It would be suitable for you if you are clean and friendly, and are not noisy. Our townhouse includes all you need for your daily life, such as furniture, water, electricity, gas, and internet as well as friendly and helpful flatmates. We live in Annerley between two shopping centres (Coles and Woolworths), which are only 5 mins walk away. Also, it is only 5 mins to the nearest bus stop (No.22-23 on Ipswich Rd) and Fairfield train station. No matter where you are studying, it only takes you 15-20 mins to your school be it UQ, QUT, and to the city. The bathroom will be shared by two girls and perhaps one male but only to shower. This is a great opportunity to live in a high quality, friendly international sharehouse with a native English speaking tutor. English only please. If you are interested please call John or Hollie (Chinese speaker).
Unit for rent in quiet suburb. Really convenient for those looking for easy access to public transport (Fairfield train station and Ipswich road are both short walks from the unit). Super close to Fairfield Gardens Shopping Centre, and the Buranda shopping centre is also a short drive away. The room is currently furnished with a single bed, beside table, a built-in wardrobe and desk (however if you want to put your own furniture in there that's totally fine!). The kitchen has recently been updated with new appliances, and so has the bathroom. There's also heaps of room to park on the street.
** Looking for a someone to apply for this house with me ** Cute Queenslander in Annerley (close to Fairfield train station) that's just crying out to be made a home. I would love to apply for this property next week. I inspected it on 21/4. Unfortunately previous housemate plans have fallen through but I wouldn't want to miss out on this one! It's got such a great vibe and lots of charm/quirk that's not fully captured on the real estate listing. Send me a message or text so I can send you the link :) I would be looking for someone to take the ensuite + garage for ~$250/wk (we can negotiate) and keep one of the other bedrooms free for now (spare room, guest room, study) and get a third person down the line potentially. The master room is just lovely and has a quirky walk in robe as well as brand new ensuite. My lease is up 1st of June so I am looking at moving during May.

Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a 23-year-old university student. I am moving from Sydney to start a degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in February 2018. I am looking for a private room to rent for the duration of my three-year course: preferably a share house within walking distance of the Con's Burke Street Studios in Woolloongabba. I am friendly and outgoing, but I also like my down time. I am very neat and like to keep my space clean and tidy at all times. It is extremely important to me that I contribute to household chores and do my bit to maintain a happy and harmonious living environment! I would love to meet some likeminded females who are looking for a tenant to move in around late January. If this is you, please feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you. :)
High school teacher and traveller who loves a laugh and a glass of red wine. Despite the large collection of cookbooks, am a terrible cook and usually resort to making some form of eggs for dinner. Previous housemates in London are now brilliant friends... hoping the luck will continue back home in Brisbane. Looking for a large room to cater for a desk, as well as some natural sunlight!
ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, With Mostly Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 21 turning 22 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under and includes all bills:-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
I’ll write something a little later!
I’m doing my PhD at UQ in developmental biology looking at heart development. In my spare time, I like to keep active by going for jogs, hiking, swimming and cycling. I also like to travel when I get the chance. I’m a pretty easy going flatmate as my work keeps me busy most of the time! I also have a kitty who is very social and playful. :)
I am very laid-back and care free, 21 at the end of the year. I love cooking and making new recipes. I am vegan but not a pushy one. I'm just happy to share food with my friends. I enjoy spending time with others as well as being by myself. I spend a lot of my time drawing and on youtube/netflix if I'm honest. I am no party fiend but I do enjoy going out or maybe having a fw every now and then. I dont really know how to describe myself, but im a mostly quiet person who just really wants her own space and in a way to meet new and friendly people. I'm more than happy to keep the house tidy as if I'm living there as well as others I'd only want to be in a tidy room too. I have my own furniture for my room but I'm flexible with that too. I'm in a weird life spot right now so a new environment and new people can be nothing beneficial for me. I am also open and plan to stay longer than 6 months, but having options is nice.
Hiya, my partnet and I are needing an apartment in brisbane for a work relocation from Lismore, he works full time and im working part time and studying a bachelor at uni. Were both quiet and reserved and easy to get along, looking for a place for just us thanks :)
I'm originally from Toowoomba, but moved to Brisbane to study Arts/Law at UQ in 2016. I major in History and I'm involved in theatre and comedy at uni. In my spare time I love hiking, painting, and cooking. I'm organised, tidy, and I like rules and sleeping. I'm a non-smoker but I like participating in a cheeky social drink occasionally :) I'm looking for a place to live in 2019, ideally in a private studio flat with landlords living on site. I'd like to live with a family or a couple of young professionals.
Im an easy going lad who can get along with most and enjoy listening to peoples stories and opinions. Currently studying visual arts and Im a carpenter so i like to create, utilise my skills and collaborate. My living spaces are always kept clean :D.
I'm currently 18 years old, studying full time for a diploma of special effects makeup artistry for film and tv and working part time at Grill'd. I'm a pretty quiet person and don't mind to hang by myself some of the time, although I do enjoy a social get together every now and then. HUGE music, animal and food lover! I love to get outdoors and find new places to adventure in, as well as making new friends. I'm a very clean and quiet person and will keep to myself mostly. Always willing to lend a hand with anything anyone needs.
Hey, so the basics about me are that my name is Phoebe! I'm 23, I'm a full time nursing student and I also work full time at a bar in the valley. I am a young single female who likes to have a chat and get to know new people; however, I am hardworking and sometimes quiet and looking for flatmates who are of a similar-ish nature. I clean up after myself, am respectful of the other people I live with. I like being social as much as anyone else around my age does, although I definitely have homebody qualities where if I have day off both work and uni I will most likely be guilty of napping and/or watching Netflix, when I should be studying or doing something productive. Its highly unlikely that I will be awake early on weekends to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, but I'm never opposed to having a weeknight wine with some food or whatever! :) I work a lot of nights and I'm basically on a complete different time schedule to everyone I know so, chances are you won't see me all too often - But when you do, it would be nice for it to not be completely awkward and to be able to have a chat etc :)
