My old roommate and I chose this place because it was close to work, but the more we lived here the more we realised how super close it is to grocery stores, public transport, take-out, gym, South Bank, basically everything. It's right next to the train station, yet there are double windows and generally very good insulation, so sleeping isn't a problem. In summer the fans and natural ventilation do a good job, but you've got your own air con if you need it (plus another air con in the main area). The apartment is less than 5 years old, very modern, water efficient, and everything works well. Our bills have come in well under the average household.
This townhouse is in a boutique complex of four. It’s in a great location and walking distance to public transport (including Fairfield train station and bus stops along Ipswich Road), shops and cafes. The room itself has a walk-in wardrobe and balcony. You will also have your own bathroom and secure car park.
A quiet, secure and breezy furnished spacious one bedroom unit available in Fairfield/Annerley border. Within walking distance to public transport, close to shops, parks, industrial estates, hospitals, and universities. Has a swimming pool, small gym, and laundry facilities available to use.
This townhouse features a large lounge area, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (upstairs) - 2nd toilet downstairs, large private courtyard with some shed space available and off street parking. Distance to CBD: 6.5km, UQ: 3.7km, QUT: 5.4km, Mt Gravatt Griffith Campus: 6.7km. Train station: 150m, Coles in small shopping centre: 100m, bus on Fairfield Rd: 120m
The town house has a large air-conditioned living area with plenty of storage throughout the house, a back patio and a single lock up garage plus a second uncovered public parking space next to the building. The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher and large fridge. Both rooms have ceiling fans and built in robes. Though the bedrooms are unfurnished the rest of the houe has everything you need i.e. furniture and cookware. The property is under 500m walk to Fairfield train station, Fairfield Gardens shopping centre, jetts and snap Fitness gyms and numerous restaurants. Electricity, gas, water and broadband internet are included in rent. Cleaning of the house is to be split between the housemates. Whoever rents a room first has the option of access to the lock up garage. There is also a public off-street parking space next to the building that is almost always free.
The house is a Ten minute walk to UQ over the Green Bridge. While its a big house with a fair few house mates there are 2 bathroom, and 2 nice spaces to hang out both upstairs and downstairs to the space works quite well. Everyone in the house is at UQ pretty much so everyone is respectful when it comes to getting study done etc. The rooms are both fully furnished, big desk, queen bed with linen etc in both rooms means everything is ready to go as soon as you move in. Bond in 4 x weeks rent. $165 All bills are included in weekly rent, and can do rent a bit cheaper if you want to stay for a while :) Thanks.
Hey there, my awesome housemates are going back to Estonia and I am looking for a single person or couple to share the house with :). The room for rent is big and luminous, with two windows to the garden. There is a king mattress, wardrobe, cabinets and a bed/sofa that can stay or go, depending on the new housemate needs. The house has a garden, garage, a toilet, a shared bathroom, a dining room with a piano and a living room with a big shared TV. There is brand new aircon in the dining room, which is right in front of the room for rent. The house is 5' from Fraifield Gardens shopping center, bus and train stop. The house is just on the other side of UQ St Lucia campus and only 15' ride with the bicycle. The neighborhood is full of green areas, peaceful and safe. And only 15' walking distance from PA hospital. But maybe the most important thing is that if you love dogs, this is your place :). I am not the only tenant of the house: Two super friendly dogs will love to snuggle with you on the sofa while you watch a movie. So if you are a respectful, animal lover and thing you will like to live with us, please send us a message for a visit :).

Howwwdy, my name is Sam. I'm currently looking for a room, but not just a room in a house. like a room in a home. Things like a communal dinner every now and then, a night excursion to the pub, chats over cups of tea and the sharing of lame jokes. That kind of thing is pretty peach. I'm social but also like one's own space. Adaptable may be the word. Like,,, I'm happy to read in my room, but my door will be open for someone to come and chill on the edge of the bed. I currently studying journalism and indigenous studies at uni, work in disability and volunteer for Murriwatch. Don't really know how to describe my personality other than that great catch-all "laid back." Im a bit irreverent, a lil lame, but not that bad. I may add to this..
I'm Aaron, 26 and work full time in marketing. I have been living in share houses for the past 4 years. I am a clean and respectful housemate who doesn't mind socialising but will also respect your privacy. I enjoy playing sport, in particular volleyball.

I recently moved to Brisbane from Auckland, New Zealand, looking for a place that I can call home. I work as a full-time software developer (don't let that fool you to think I'm anti-social or a nerd, I'm quite the opposite). In my free time I love to explore new places, hit the beach, watch movies, go on long walks, and dance. My previous flatmates can vouch for the following traits I possess: tidy, responsible, respectful, friendly, non-smoker/drinker, and queen of sarcasm (bestowed title). I enjoy fun banter and good company, and at times like to just have my own space. If you're looking for a new friend to join your flat rather than just another flatmate, please contact me :)
Hello futur flatmate, My name is Uros and I come from Serbia, Belgrade. I moved to Brisbane 8 months ago when I got a job as a Brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ) instructor in academy which is located in Woolloongabba, that was my home up to this point. There is a room and a kitchen in this complex, but now I'm looking for my own space. As much I like to teach BJJ I like to compete as well, so I run my life according to that. That means that I go to bed early and I don't party much. I used to do it a lot back in a day but now I'm looking for a flatmate who has pretty steady life. Important thing in living with your flatmate is to know when you should engage and when to give other person some space. It is very important to me that we are compatible in this sense. I would say that I have good social skills, I clean up after myself, I stick to agreements, I think I'm pretty tolerant in general and I like to wear my BJJ kimono in all of the occasions. The last one was a joke. If you are sensitive and easily offended than we probably should't be flatmates. In my spare time I like to read and watch movies or good MMA fight, I enjoy nature, good company, visits to museums and going to the beach. Traveling as well, but who doesn't? Cheers!
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, design student. I like dark British comedy, murder mysteries with a plot, and easy going people. I can cook, and tidy and clean a bathroom, but I hate to take bins out. (Better with dishes) - Looking for chill friendly, maybe arty people :) and a $210pw max room, bills included if I can find it, and the bigger the better as I am a designer + artist and need space, with some window light for my indoor plants and the art :D Looking for a longer term stay somewhere fairly central and more south. Let me know if you think I should be looking at your add! Cheers, Holly
I am 23 years old and I am starting an internship in Biomedical Sciences in September 2018 at UQ. I am looking for accommodation for 4 months (September - December) I am an easy-going girl, friendly and chill to live with. I come from a international environment: I am originally from Argentina, but lived in Switzerland for the last years. Therefore I am more than happy to meet people from everywhere in the world! I am very tidy and clean, and it is very important to me that my flatmates are as well :D Cheers, Agustina
I'm an accountable and nice person, very quite a respectful with everyone.
I am a neat and tidy person who like things to be organized. I am not a smoker and prefer a flatmate who won't smoke, although smoking outside is cool. I am not a party person but would love to grab a beer sometimes. I don't mind pets also. I like binge watching series, reading books, and playing badminton or basketball. I would love to try out surfing and it would be awesome if my flatmate has some idea about it (and teach me). I would prefer a single room in a shared house or apartment with other shared amenities. Looking for something within 150-200 $
