Cheerful and tidy. Love to have a laugh. Been living in the area since Feb 2017, from Sydney originally. Very keen to live with a pet! I enjoy hiking, swimming, f45 and hoping to nail surfing this summer! Non-smoker and don't use recreational drugs. Not a party animal either. Would be keen to hang out with my housemates from time to time and hopefully become mates, but am also happy to do my own thing. Have lived in share houses before so am house trained! :-)
Hi there, My name is Lisa and i'm a student and artist who has lived in this beautiful region my whole life. I'm 20 years old with a very quiet persona. If you are looking for someone to have a quiet house hold with I am your gal. I have two birds I would like to bring with me. I don't eat animal products and would prefer it if you don't either but it's not essential at this point. Ideally I would be looking for something 30 mins to Lismore in surrounding suburbs. The bush is where i prefer to be not always possible, I love swimming so a good swimming spot is a bonus. I'd prefer to live in a unit/granny flat independent living situation as I am very introverted and quiet but am happy to share if needs be. If i sound like a good fit, please reach out. I am looking to have a place ready by the 6th of Jan. Thanks!
Located within walking distance of the beautiful town of Bangalow, this near new, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is ideal for someone looking for a peaceful, relaxed home in a quiet environment. The spacious Master bedroom with private ensuite and built in wardrobe opens to a large covered veranda that overlooks the garden. The room is available now for 6 months with the possibility of extending. The house is cool in summer and is furnished in a comfortable, welcoming style.
Easy going, self sufficient, friendly and tidy, that's the dog, Salty. The human is OK too. I am interested in places in the general region, having moved to the area from far South Coast NSW. I am currently living in Ocean Shores short term and I am intending to rent for a year or so while I get to know the region and choose a home to buy. We prefer to be close to a dog beach or in the forest but are also happy in town with a private leafy outlook and access to good dog walking spaces. I am active and creative and busy keeping up with the demands of a multi-faceted career. I work from home making natural dyes and doing botanical printing, I also work in adult education and professional and technical writing. I like cooking and baking, gardening and growing food. I am fortunate to love my work. I sometimes travel for work but mostly work from home or nearby workshop. A shed, roof, garage area or warehouse space I can use for workshop would be fantastic, especially if I could live in it! I'm good to live with because I am respectful of the space/time/social needs of others. I ask, listen and am able to express my own needs and perspective. I do not like drama. I make sure Salty is happy and other members of the household are comfortable with him and understand his cues and commands. Salty is pretty friendly, a desexed red Smithfield, he likes most humans and other animals, he walks away from drama with other dogs rather than be involved in aggression. I live a mostly healthy lifestyle, lots of dog walking and swimming - not much party these days! I still love music and dance. I drink alcohol now and then and I do smoke occasionally. I always make sure no one is offended or adversely affected by my smoking.
Hi, my name is Liv and I am from the UK. I have recently started working near Alstonville and am looking for somewhere to stay in the area up until Christmas or new year depending on availability. I'm a pretty chilled out person, I love to read and make jewellery in my free time and I'm also trying to get the hang of surfing! I also love live music, arts, food festivals, markets and hiking. Please get in touch!
Hi I'm StJohn. I work as a radiation oncology registrar in Melbourne but will be moving up to take up a position at Lismore Hospital. My working hours will usually be normal, however when on call I may be up and about as well as coming and going at odd times. Apart from work, I love cycling and enjoying a few craft beers at the end of the week. I'm generally a quiet and chilled person who is clean and tidy and looking for someone who is on the same wavelength.
We are both very clean and tidy house keepers, that is just a must for us. Coming home to a beautiful sanctuary and leaving a beautiful sanctuary is the best feeling in the world! Both very organized, reliable and like to keep on top of things. My partner and I live a very conscious, ethical and sustainable lifestyle so mainly home cooking, no plastic, everything recycled, and no chemicals used. We love life and are full of positive energy which will reflect in our home and surroundings. We are from Melbourne and come up to Byron twice every year, hoping this time will be long-term.
I love my own space and also love to be around people, balance is the key. I am very respectful of another's space. I love to cook good healthy nutritious food. I am vegan. I love a clean tidy environment it is VIP. I am one who can go with the flow and also honour my own needs. Great communicator, love life and having fun, I also love quiet. I have a dog and two cats and 5 mini horses that are being agisted at present, would love to have them back living with me on the same property or close by. Two of them I have had for 16 years and bred 3 of them. I am a creative soul, love learning and growing and couldn't possibly write everything here!
Hi, I am looking for accommodation for my very mature 16 year old son who is a student at SAE in Byron Bay. He has evening classes so it is really hard organising return travel arrangements for him to Lismore. He is a thoughtful and considerate young man who is highly independent. We are looking for a safe, self-contained space for him to rent until the end of May when the course finishes. Please feel free to call me and ask any questions.
Fun and outgoing professional looking to escape the long hard hours of working as a business analyst and operations manager in corporate Sydney. In 2018 I'll be doing a sea/tree change and am looking for short-term accommodation to support my regular meanderings until I find the perfect place. I'll be working full-time in Lismore but budget is limited for short-term rental. However I'd be willing to increase it for the right long-term opportunity. I'm reliable and trustworthy and prefer peace, quiet and cleanliness. Sophistication and aesthetics are also appreciated.
I love for my home to be social, warm and welcoming but not so much a big party house. I am respectful, friendly and love to cook. I want to find a place that considers other's down time but also isn't a home full of strangers. I have a wonderful, well trained little staffy looking with me as well. She is friendly and a joy to be around, so being ok with pets is a must. Looking for something long term.
Hey potential housemate :) I currently study osteopathy full time at SCU, teach a little bit of yoga and massage as well, but otherwise squeeze in as many activities and random fun things as i can manage.. I'm well travelled and house trained with plenty of experience sharing spaces. I'm really hoping to find a place to call home.. wether its with others or on my own in a studio type space is ok. I would like to have a second small space (doesn't need to be a bedroom) where i can setup a treatment space for massages (maybe 5-10 per week at most?)... this could maybe be a study, a sun room or a clean garage for example? (the table doesnt need to be permanently fixed and can easily be packed away for a sleeping space for guests or for other purposes?) I don't need to be out by a certain date, but i am exploring possibilities (this includes collecting people to move into a new place together.. let me know if you would like to be in the loop) Also if you only have a small space that can be utilized as a massage space i would love to hear from you!
We have great stories of our travels and adventures, we are clean, respectful, non smokers and love animals although don't have one :( Brigette loves to cook and garden and Jon is technology handy, quick witted and together we are social but also like down time.
I have a room to rent in a large 3brm, 1bth (includes separate toilet and powder room), 2 lounge room home in Clunes in a quiet street within walking distance to the famed Clunes General Store and Café. Clunes is located halfway between Bangalow and Lismore just a 15min drive to both and is an ideal for anyone working or studying in Lismore, the Hinterland or the wider Byron Area. The rental period can be a short term (min. 3mths) or long term and I’m flexible with the furnishings either furnished, partly furnished or unfurnished. The queen size room catches the afternoon sun, it is newly carpeted and painted and has built-in wardrobes (includes shelving and draws) and plenty of storage. Rent $250/week includes electricity and wireless NBN. 4 weeks bond + 2 weeks rent in advance and references required. I look forward to meeting you.
$225 including bills (internet, electricity and water included, Gas excluded) We have a room becoming available on the 20th of January in our beautiful home. Located in ewingsdale, 10 minutes drive from town, 2 minutes from the farm and the Byron Bay hospital. We live on a shared property, with a lady and a couple living underneath us. The land lord comes and goes from the property and has private residence. There is a pool and spa on the property which is also shared and maintained by the real estate. The room is small, but large enough for a queen bed, a bedside table and a chest of drawers. The room has an inbuilt wardrobe and fan. It is located off the lounge room and has a large window which brings lovely afternoon light. You will be sharing with three other girls in their early 20’s. We are all studying full time and working. We are looking for a female roommate who is looking for a permanent home. Must be employed. No couples and no travellers. Non smoker only. Message me if you’re interested or have any questions 😊
We are a couple that just put away some money to leave our town, to share an awesome experience. My girlfriend wants to learn some English and surf, I'm taking my kayak with so I can surf with it, and wanna lear board surfing too!!! We have a big age difference, but I'm still up for travelling and she's done pretty much none. Super enthusiastic for this trip, and knowing new people!!!
The property is situated in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, in a cul-de-sac. I feel we have the best of both worlds here - we are close enough to town to be convenient but not right in town to be noisy. We have a nice garden with room to grow your veggies. We also have split cycle air conditioning, a dishwasher, clothes dryer and water filter.
My name is Kriselle and I am looking for a place to live in the Northern NSW or Southern Gold Coast region, for myself and my Companion Dog, Lila. I recently lost my home in the Northern Rivers floods so am keen to find a sanctuary and some stability as soon as possible. I am a quiet, clean and tidy person and Lila is my companion, so must come with me wherever I move to. If you have a spare room and have wanted a dog, but not wanted the responsibility or cost associated with one, please consider us. Lila will give you all the love in the world, while I will do everything associated with her care. Lila is well socialised, so would also enjoy the company of another dog if you already have one and are keen for it to have a playmate. Any property must be dog-secure. I can afford $150 per week and look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
