Hey! I'm a 2nd year bachelor student of Law in University of Groningen (Netherlands) and coming to Australia for my exchange program abroad. Hello! I have two rooms available for rent in a charming Carrington terrace. The house is cute and old and has a lovely little courtyard that gets the afternoon sun, as well as a working fireplace! It is on a quiet little street in Carrington but close to all the main attractions and an easy drive/bike/walk into town. The house is fully furnished (besides the bedrooms available for rent) but I am more than happy to make room for any/all of your stuff. The rooms are $150 each plus bills. Internet is unlimited and $20 each per month. Parking is only off-street but there is always ample around. The rooms: One of the rooms is upstairs and overlooks the courtyard. It gets the afternoon sun and is super light and bright! The other room is downstairs and is slightly larger. It has cute green wallpaper and comes with an antique armoire that was here when we moved in (if not needed however it can be removed)
Awesome location near a pub which is known for its food. Carrington has great atmosphere and is close to the cbd, cycle way leads into town. 10 minute bike ride ( I ride to work), 20 - 30 walk depending on your stroll speed, I am more towards the 30. Aircon, fireplace BYO room setup Small backyard / Deck Quiet street Required to pay a bond straight up and apply to be on the lease after a few weeks if we both want continue to live together.
Funky old terrace house Close to main street in Carrington, walking distance to cafes and the local pub is on the same block. Close to the beach. Fully decked out kitchen Communal living room with telly, netflix, stan and xbox Back courtyard with little veggie patch Will be sharing with a big friendly puppy that loves a cuddle! Heaps of books if you like reading and records if you like music There is 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs, ours with a balcony you can hang out on with us, yours and one downstairs we use as a study/spare room for mates and visiting family.
This house is close to the center of town, while situated in the quiet streets of Carrington and is a great find! The house was newly renovated before I moved in with an awesome kitchen (dishwasher and gas stove) and an exceptional bathroom, with a massive free standing tub. In the house you'll find a massive TV, with Netflix and Stan, a new washer and dryer, plus a kitted out kitchen with all the gadgets. The room available for rent is on the second and third floors of a newly renovated terrace house. The room itself is split into a bedroom on the second floor and a study on the third floor. So much room for activities!! Plenty of storage (aka Harry Potter cupboards) located on both floors. The room is fully furnished. Parking is on the street, but generally easy to find close to the house. There is also a Bus stop around the corner, which makes getting into town easy.
I’m a teacher from Austin, Texas taking a year off to travel and play Rugby. My travels are winding down so that I can play Rugby for the Hamilton Hawks in Newcastle. I love to cook and I’m easy to get along with. I’m happy to listen or tell you a story or keep to myself. Besides Rugby, I like painting models, reading, and going to live music.
Hi! My name is taylah, I’m 19 and am looking for a place to live with my beautiful kelpie and staffy, both of which are trained and very friendly. I work 5 days a week as a nanny during the day, and as a waitress during the night. I have references and have always paid rent on time. I love to socialise but am also very respectful of people’s privacy.
Hey! I'm 28 years old and originally from Melbourne. I've been living in Newy for a little over a year now and love it! I have a lot of creative interests and hobbies, but generally speaking op-shopping, collecting/selling vintage clothes, surfing, listening to good tunes and thinking about/getting tattoos that I can't afford takes up most of my spare time. I work part-time and also sell vintage clothes online and at markets. I like to think that I am a creative, friendly and open minded person and I am looking to live with like minded individuals. Although I no longer work in the industry, I am a qualified chef by trade and these days I enjoy cooking for the household and friends and am no stranger to cleaning either :) Ideally I'd like a room in an inclusive household that I can call home, with people that I can call friends. I'd like to live with people that are community minded, open, friendly, easy going and perhaps live and think outside the box a little. My lease is ending soon so I am after a new place, but I am ready to lock something in as soon possible or at least line it up for down the track, whatever suits. If you think I sound like a good fit, or are thinking of trying to start a new share house send me a message, hope to hear from you, Sam :)
Hello! I am originally from the U.S. and moved here almost 3 years ago. I am down-to-earth and love socializing but also enjoy my alone time. I work 9-5 in Tighs Hill and spend my free time dabling in arts and crafts, reading, yoga and anything that involves the outdoors. A greeny at heart who loves to leave a small carbon footprint. Hoping to find like minded individuals who are easy going. I have a large respect for privacy and am very neat and tidy. Looking for a nice group of people in a place I can call home.
Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
I'm working as an engineer in Newcastle from Monday to Friday but on weekends I'm generally horse riding, dancing, running or hanging out with friends. I'd like to live with other young working people who are fairly happy go lucky and keep a tidy house. I'm keen for coffee dates at the local café and wine and cheese nights, docos and cards when we feel like it.
Hey potential roomies! My name's Amy, I'm 22 and chipping away at uni in hopes of one day finishing a pesky law degree, while working part time (20-30 hours/week) in retail. I spent last year backpacking and living in hostels so I've got a lot of respect for communal spaces and keeping things tidy. I enjoy my space and alone time, but I'm looking for friends more than housemates! A bit about me: - I'm vego (though I don't need my housemates to be) and love to cook - Keen hiker - Garbage reality TV watcher (hello Bachelor) - Loves a good boogie on the weekends Shoot me a message if it sounds like we'd get along!
My name is Tim, 25 year old male living in Newcastle. I'm currently doing a diploma in conservation and land management, very big nature enthusiast here. I love banter between friends but also love my own space, and a healthy balance between the two is what I strive for. I work through the week at a busy cafe in town and with the farmers market on Sundays. My interests include bike riding, Australian native flora, sleeping at the beach and good food and drink with friends. Very considerate of others and their space, and I am confident that I can keep tidy and clean. Anyways, would love to hear from you, Timbo.
We are a young, independant & mature couple, we both work a lot through the week (I work in Real Estate, Adam works with ALDI). We’d say we’re very tidy & love coming home to a clean house - we’ve always loved making our home look decent. We love the outdoors and always up for an adventure/day out. We are looking to team up with somebody/another couple to move into a place by around the 10th of June. We’d be after somebody who is like-minded, respectful, not a big drinker, tidy, etc. We’d love to hear back from you! :)
Available to move: early/mid July Hello there, we are a super chill couple recently moved back from Sydney (originally from Newcastle). We LOVE music, design, travelling, Star Wars, camping, video-games and keeping fit/healthy. Our living attributes include being very tidy, respectful and environmental. Andy (27) is a super nice and social guy. He is the type of traditional bloke who will pass you on the street and say 'G'day'. He hangs off the side of high-rise buildings like Spider man for a living - repairing, cleaning, installing, taking Snapchat selfies of the view etc. He is a bit of a dare devil - enjoys rock climbing, spearfishing and free-diving. He loves his Toyota Chaser and will insist on cooking you Portuguese chicken wraps. Mel (27) is darn sweet but very shy at first. She is a freelance graphic and textile designer who works from home. She loves her space during the week, but totally comes out of her shell on weekends. She also has THE best cat in the world - Mishka who has turned every cat hater in her path into a cat lover - seriously. Mel is a soccer and indoor plant fiend. We are looking for a place with at least 1 car space and is open to allowing a pet (Mishka - aka your new best furrend). Our ideal housemates would be super cool, cultured, love a drink, going to gigs and social events, good music (we love playing and collecting vinyl) and hopefully become our friends! Our ideal housemates are clean, sustainable and have an interest in recycling/minimising waste. Being tidy and respectable of property is a must. We would be very interested in starting a share house.
Hi, my name is Rhys, I am 36 years old and I've recently returned to Newcastle after living and working overseas and in Darwin for the last 5 years. I currently work full time 8-5, Mon-Fri in the environmental field. I'm a bit over the party scene but enjoy a few drinks occasionally. I like playing a bit of acoustic guitar and heading out to see the odd live gig. Also enjoy getting outdoors on hikes, to the beach and exploring around in and around Newcastle. I'm looking for easy going, friendly, clean and respectful housemates who are also a little bit social and just all round cool folk.
Hi, I’m Jerome and I am looking to move closer to the beach in Newcastle. I currently work a full-time job in healthcare. I have lived out of home for eight years. As a tenant/housemate, I always clean up after myself and care for the property as if it were my own. In my spare time, I like to exercise, surf, eat fries and spend time with my friends. I enjoy living with people that are professional, positive and funny. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a room available or would like to team up. Jerome
Pretty reasonable and easygoing, I clean up any mess I make and generally keep to myself. You won't find me eating all your food or using your shampoo, which I think is a pretty redeeming quality. I'm an architecture student and casual kitchenhand. I usually just play games or watch shows for fun, every couple of months I'll head out to a music festival though.
We are two mates, Wyatt and Liam, looking for two bedrooms around the CBD of Newcastle. We are hell easy going, clean and friendly guys Super active too, deeply involved with the University Football Club. We are keen to find a place with some fun people and are more than happy to pull our weight and get involved within the household.
