I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne to start my masters at Utas in the beginning of July. Lived in the shared house for the last five years, so know the drill. Neat, respectful and a Banter. Into cooking whenever I'm free and more than happy to share a meal or two. Love to socialize and respect personal space. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going, friendly and always up for a laugh.

Hi there, I have just arrived back to Melbourne after completing my Master's degree in Boston. I am originally from Melbourne, however, will be moving to Hobart in later June - early July to further pursue my education at UTas. I have been living in shared houses for the past 4 or 5 years now and love meeting new people, exploring nature, trying out new restaurants and bars. I am generally an outdoorsy person and am looking forward to exploring the beautiful island. I am extremely responsible, like to live in a neat and clean house and respect others privacy, although am always up for a friendly beer or meal together. Dhruv
I am offering a spacious, furnished room in my home which attracts lots of sun as it faces North. It is in a quiet area, leafy and green surroundings with some wildlife. Some view of the city and bridge and Derwent from Patio. The home is air conditioned or reverse cycle and is reasonable to run. I do have small dogs who are friendly so you would need to like dogs to live here. This is a no smoking house and a quiet one.
We are couple and moving here because my wife is going to study at UTas. We are quite friendly and enjoy our life at its fullest. Love to go on picnic and do adventures activities. Love to share room with the friendly people.
-im friendly :-) and do not worry it depend on the situation - psychologist student to be at utas - a person who easy to understand other - respect other and tolerance - I'm malaysian - tidy and clean
Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen

I am a very tidy person, I enjoy socialising, but I also enjoy alone time and understand boundaries well. I think I’m a fun and bubbly person and I’m really looking for a positive environment to live in. I’m hoping to find somewhere that can accomodate my little dog aswell, he is a small shitzu x chihuahua super friendly, house trained and loves everyone he meets. I'm a marine biology PhD Student from New Zealand, spending two months in Hobart to work with researchers at CSIRO. I'm tidy and considerate, and on top of my payments. I'll be quite busy around that time so I'll be pretty quiet, but I'm always down for a chat and a drink / cup of coffee. I've been to Hobart before so I know my way around!
Hello everyone! My partner and I currently live in Kingston! We both work in town so are looking for something a bit closer. We are very respectful and chilled out people. Ryan works in a food warehouse and also goes to gym 5/7 days a week, I work at flight centre in town 8-6 and other than that I’m usually out visiting my friends and family or just relaxing at home. We are both social people, and would love to share a home with some like minded people who love a good conversation and can be friends with us rather than just house mates. If you have something available or are interested in a team up please message me! Thank you
I'm a full-time worker in Hobart City, graduated from UTAS last year (2017). I've been in Tasmania for almost 4 years now, mostly in Launceston due to the nature of my course (Architecture). This is my first time moving into Hobart, and I am still exploring this place. As of 2018, I'm 25 years old, from Singapore. I am slightly socially awkward. But if you spend enough time with me, you'll see a different person - outgoing, loud, funny, talkative (as according to my friends). Well, I do appreciate some alone time too. It's nice to respect each other's privacy at times. I do love the outdoors, though I don't really have time for it.
Hello! We are two sisters looking for a place to stay in 2018. We are both quiet, friendly and easygoing people. We are looking for a property with two rooms available, or a large room that we could share, as we are good friends (as well as sisters) and would love to stay together if possible! Megan is the oldest and a bit of a grandma on the inside :) She loves baking, art-ing, craft-ing and a good cup of tea every now and then. She is very interested in ecology and the environment and is in her third year of Bachelor of Natural Environment and wilderness studies at UTAS. Erin is the youngest of the two and loves painting and drawing :) She is studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UTAS and works most days in the CBD. Erin also has a car, so a property with a parking space would be ideal. Ideally, we would like to stay in Battery Point, Dynnyrne, South Hobart, Sandy Bay or the city, but if you have a place that you think would be suitable elsewhere that is easily accessible by public transport, we'd also be open to hearing from you :) We look forward to hearing from you!
Beautiful home in Knocklofty's peaceful bush setting. Walk to CBD, local cafes (Pigeon Hole, Landsdowne Cafe, Smolt Kitchen), Farmers Market, corner shop, GPO, bushwalking tracks. 5mins drive CBD, bus route 5mins walk. Plenty of house space, warm with heat pump and under floor heating in bathroom. Bedroom currently has a King Single Bed, Desk and wardrobe. Furniture optional depending on your situation.
Large room becoming available in a Sandy Bay home from 20th June. 190pw all inclusive of internet, gas, foxtel, netflix, Electricity. Furniture negotiable. Located 2 blocks on the town side of uni, 25 minute walk from town.
It is very close to university and it has good access to all amenities. Very independent space , non demanding. Open living areas and private bedroom spaces. Large generous garden with established trees and plants. It is an older house so has some quirks which I will attempt to have sorted as soon as possible. As I have only just moved myself I have some refinement still to do. If you can handle the transition then this generous space will work well for you.
Laid back, easy going and tidy. Studying first year at UTAS, and also working casually, mostly on weekends. Pretty quiet and will respect your space, yet will always be up for a good chat. Looking for somewhere closer to town/uni, as I'm currently having to travel a lot.
Relocating to Hobart for work, I'm a single professional in my mid 30s looking for people around my own age (or maturity) to share with. I enjoy the outdoors and am easy going and relaxed. I haven't lived in Tassie for many years, so I am looking forward to exploring old and new jaunts.
Single and double room available in West Hobart. The house is 20/30 mins walk to the CBD at the top of a steep hill in Forest Road. The elevated position offers an amazing view (Derwent river from the Tasman Bridge to the Casino, kunanyi/Mount Wellington). The house has a centralised gas heating with panel heaters in every room. The spare rooms are situated at the bottom level of the house: one single ($190/w), one double ($220/w), and have views out over the garden. They allow for lots of privacy. Guest toilet + shower is upstairs, and there is an extra toilet downstairs. Plenty of on street parking but it is a quiet road.Big kitchen fully equipped. However, WE DO NOT COOK MEAT IN THE HOUSE AND OUR GUESTS ARE USUALLY VEGETARIAN OR DO NOT COOK MEAT DURING THEIR STAY. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. We don't mind about people having take-away non vegetarian food. We have 3 cats.
