Hello new friend, I am here in Tas studying. I’m a human who wears the hat of artist in various forms; visual arts, music and movements of the body. I like to be in the funk and flow of life and love to see my loved ones in their own groove too! Im an expressive person whom is willing to have a conversation about anything. I’ve lived in all sorts of different arrangements, and primarily it’s important to me that I connect with the people around me. I want to get to know you. I want you to get to know me. I want to grow, explore and create with you. Secondary to a strong connection with the people around me comes creating a network of community/doing things with and for others, health; physical/mental, self expression, personal development/long term goals, business/financial development and reflection time. I like feeling alert and switched on. I don’t smoke or drink. I enjoy sharing life stories over a cuppa tea, having a laugh and playing. Some of my interests are gardening, medicinal plants, circus, dance, singing, writing, art, poetry, dreams and self awareness.
I'm a mature, self-sufficient, responsible, easy going, tidy, reliable woman. I am well versed in pet and property care and love gardening. I have a number of personal interests including sunrise walks, exploring Tasmania, meditation, inspirational writing, cooking, professional speaker coaching, photography & creating motivational videos. I own a powerful presence coaching video business which means I work partially from home. I enjoy my own space and live a quiet life. I have 2 quiet, tidy, respectful, animal loving teenage sons (I have trained them well) who spend 2-3 nights a week with me. Over the past 2 years, I have been house sitting on a professional basis and am now ready to settle into a happy sunny home. Living with me will certainly be a delightful experience.
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling the place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles when thair are to many like six I give a few away 😬 I read a lot go mountain biking and I'm pretty handy about the house good at spoting problems befor thay become expensive problems landlords like me I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen much I always like to live in a clean home I'm Clean by nature easy to live with and I like to help out if it's called for. I'm polite never grumpy I really don't get the point of grumpynes it's such a wast of time 😳 I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance. I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, around $200 and $220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you! Regards Alan.
My partner and I are relocating to Hobart. We are looking for a short-term place to stay until we find our new house. We don’t think this would be any longer than three months . We also have a dog who is very sweet and gentle and well-behaved. The property would need to be fully fenced for her. We would like something that is self-contained. We are friendly easy-going people who have been living in regional New South Wales.
Mature well travelled professional (social scientist). Enjoys outdoors, music, cooking. Moving to Hobart for work. Family joining me at a later stage (Dec/Jan). Looking for a relaxed household of like-minded or complementary people. Like kids and dogs. Allergic to cats. Don't like smoking. Omnivorous but enjoy quality food of any kind. House trained, but not obsessive about cleanliness. Reasonably handy.
Looking for a female flatmate to share small unit at the western end of South Hobart with peaceful, leafy views, friendly neighbours, and off street parking (I have 2 spaces, one not currently being used). An easy 7 minute drive will get you into the city (off peak), or there is a bus stop very close by. The flat is fully furnished and set up with everything that's needed for a comfortable home. It is a very quiet, pleasant area with bush walks and sites close to see. Air conditioning available, a view, a chance you may have your own bathroom. NO smoking here. Utilities to be shared
I am great roomate, have been living in shared houses for past 5 years and can get references if needed :) I am very respectful and spreading good vibes. I love cooking, sharing glass of wine time to time and having quick chit chats in the common areas. I love to create atmosphere where everyone can feel like at home and I like joke around keeping happy enviornement. But if I am not interacting I am very quite person, I don't like loud noice at place where I live and want to relax. But in general I am very active I love board games, but more I like being outside and playing volleyball, tennis, sailing or other outside sports. I am exchange student coming from Europe.

Hi, I am from Fremantle WA and I have just moved to Hobart to start a new job. I am looking for a long term share-house or studio apartment in the central Hobart area. I am also interested in the possibility of teaming up with others and taking on a lease. I work in the city as a health professional and I am studying honours in Medicines Management at UTAS. I am a friendly, creative, clean and considerate person. I have good communication skills and am respectful of other peoples space. I would like to live in a location where I can either walk or cycle to work - Sandy Bay, West Hobart, South Hobart, North Hobart and Battery Point are good areas for example. Furnished or unfurnished is fine. I am ideally looking for a good sized bedroom with some sunlight, a bit of a backyard/garden, and with relaxed and friendly people. I am willing to pay up to about $260 pw rent for the right sharehouse, and more for self contained space. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle. I do yoga every day - I'm a qualified yoga teacher. I like to recycle and use eco-friendly house products. I enjoy playing my flute occasionally and especially like getting out into nature for a bush walk. I enjoy having good conversations with housemates, and I also also appreciate quiet time and space. I don't mind dogs but I absolutely love cats - if you have a cat that would be a plus! :) I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I'm Clare, I'm a mature student at UTAS and I also work for the university. I like to cook, run and sing (not at home!) and try to live sustainably where I can. I'm a tidy, responsible and friendly housemate; I like my quiet time but also enjoy sharing a cuppa or occasional meal. I'm looking for a room in a house with a kindred spirit or two; or a studio, granny flat or self-catering homestay.
Relatively new to Hobart, looking for a fun social household (but not a party house). Love playing hockey, mountain biking, exploring tassie and a good netflix binge. My move date and length of stay is pretty flexible.
Hello! I'm an easy going, friendly person moving from Brisbane to Hobart who's looking to do some post graduate study. I like socialising with friends and making new ones too but I also value time to myself when needed. I enjoy photography and exploring natural environments.
