Hello! I am currently finishing an Undergraduate Arts degree in Philosophy with interests in Continental and Asian philosophy. I enjoy playing music (guitar and piano) and writing songs. I also like to spend time in coffee shops reading and writing as well! I am a good neat and tidy housemate and am respectful of everyone I may live with. I like to cook a fair bit, love animals, am friendly and interested in other people. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are friendly, upbeat, artistic and who like to create a homely atmosphere.
Hi there, I am a healthcare professional and an aspiring physician from Melbourne, moving to Hobart in July to study medicine at UTas. I am extremely clean and tidy, love to explore nature, try out new restaurants and wineries, play some golf or just go for a nice drive (if and whenever I do get the time) and generally try to be as polite and helpful as I can be. I am always up for a meal together but am also very respectful of other people's space. I am definitely not looking for a party house or a place that is loud on the weekend, but a place where we can share a meal, have a glass of wine occasionally and share an intelligent conversation. I am looking to move into a shared house or team up ASAP as my uni starts in the second week of July. Regards, Dhruv
We are looking to fill a large, sunny room in our north facing house. It's a two storey house - our bedroom is upstairs with the shared living area, main bathroom and kitchen. The room for rent is downstairs, along with a guest room, study and your own shower and toilet. We have furniture you can use (bed, shelves, desk etc), or you can bring your own. It's a quiet area, and we think it's the perfect balance between living in the city and still being close to the bush. We have a creek at the bottom of the property and Waterworks Reserve just up the road gives access via bike and walking trails to kunanyi. We have a small balcony, a bit of a veggie patch, like to compost and try to minimise waste/energy consumption where practical. Our preference is for short-medium term flatmates, and have some flexibility around this. Couples welcome, but with bills included the room would be $350/week. FYI the photo of the bedroom was taken early in the morning, hence it still looking dark outside! If you would like more photos just let us know :)

Single and double room available in West Hobart. The house is 20/30 mins walk to the CBD at the top of a steep hill in Forest Road. The elevated position offers an amazing view (Derwent river from the Tasman Bridge to the Casino, kunanyi/Mount Wellington). The house has a centralised gas heating with panel heaters in every room. The spare rooms are situated at the bottom level of the house: one single ($190/w), one double ($220/w), and have views out over the garden. They allow for lots of privacy. Guest toilet + shower is upstairs, and there is an extra toilet downstairs. Plenty of on street parking but it is a quiet road.Big kitchen fully equipped. However, WE DO NOT COOK MEAT IN THE HOUSE AND OUR GUESTS ARE USUALLY VEGETARIAN OR DO NOT COOK MEAT DURING THEIR STAY. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. We don't mind about people having take-away non vegetarian food. We have 3 cats.

Hey, I'm a utas student looking for a room in a share house either in hobart, or surrounding(preferably south) subburbs. I'm finishing off my Fine arts degree, I'm a creative person. I'm a solid mix if social and keep to myself. My socialising tends to be out and about and less at home. I prefer a tidy place, and I'm not strict around that just happy to help maintain a livable clean space.
Hi, I'm 23 years old originally from Hong Kong, graduated from Deakin Uni 2 years ago, have a little bit of experience living in a shared house for 6 years in Melbourne. I'll be coming to live in Tasmania for 3 years. I'm friendly, tidy, sociable, organised and easy going. I'm a very outgoing person, I love sports, soccer and futsal are my first sport. In my spare time I hang out with my friends, I like to go out for drinks or dinners. I also enjoy chilling at the beach, shopping, the occasional night out and relaxing nights cooking. I'm moving in mid-September for 3 months first because I cant do inspection before leaving from Melbourne, so I’ll see how it goes and decide to leave or stay. I need off-street parking for my car. Please do not call me, shoot me a text/direct message instead if interested :) Thanks, Alex
Hi, My name is Emily and I am 24 from Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and full time employed. I have lived in two share houses before with up to four housemates, so am an experienced member of a share house. In both cases we enjoyed going out for dinner or having a chat, but also respected others privacy. I'm looking for a similar house to share exploring Tassie with, but also happy to relax in our own space.
Hi there, My name is Paul. I am 29 years old. I have relocated to Hobart to study at UTAS. I'm quiet, tidy and like to keep to myself. I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking. I can supply references upon request. Thanks :)
Hi I'm Drew, I'm an easy going 31 year old guy who is moving to Hobart for work in late September. I work full time in HR and I'm a social and active guy. Enjoy a Netflix sesh, going out to local bars and restaurants, or just a BBQ with friends at home. I love the outdoors and looking forward to exploring all that Tassie has to offer! I have house furniture! I've got a fridge, couches, weber q etc. More importantly though I will contribute good times to the house. Plus I'll be working at Cascade Brewery so we get free beer.
Clean and tidy. Love our food. I’m into keeping fit. Do enjoy a few social drinks over weekend and hang around with friends. Respect personal space. Please shoot a message for any questions. Thanks
Full time student, working casually in town. I'm fun, easy to get on with, clean and considerate of others. I love a good Netflix binge, enjoy surfing, the outdoors and a few beers on the weekend. I'm pretty quite in general and studies keep me pretty busy but I am still fairly sociable and can whip up a mean mac and cheese.
Hi there! We're a full time student couple. Trent is quiet, clean, and enjoys video games, tv, books, movies, a few drinks and chats. He's studying medical science at UTAS. Ellie is bubbly and fun. She enjoys chatting with people, playing the ukulele, playing video games and going on adventures (long walks). She's studying zoology at UTAS. We're both clean, respectful and lovely to be around. We hope to hear from you soon. :)
