Hi! I'm Pauline, a 45 year old, single female. Currently, I'm receiving the Disabilty Support Pension (DSP) due to having osteoarthritis, although, I am still financially stable and independent. I am looking for somewhere to call home for at least 6-12 months, with level access and my own bathroom/ensuite, and the option of being able to extend my stay if required. I worked in aged care for over 10 years which I really loved and have a passion for caring for others, unfortunately due to my osteoarthritis I was unable to continue in aged care, although, I still maintain my life around caring for others. My week consists of studying 2-3 days a week away from home, supporting others through a not-for-profit organization I attend weekly focused on numerous aspects of mental health, growth, addiction, and other personal life issues, and I am persuing more knowledge and wisdom through the guidance of various courses. I am also doing some research into ADHD and ASD spectrum, which is another area I'm deeply passionate about. In my spare time I enjoy reading, nature, music, different types of meditation, exercises that are beneficial for me, and I am attempting to learn how to keep a plant alive, which I'm not having much luck with!!!!! I do like to visit and spend time with my few close friends, which is usually away from home, I also have a 22 year old daughter who I cherrish spending time with whenever her busy schedule allows. I am a very neat and tidy person, I like to keep my surroundings clutter free and I always clean up after myself. I have been told I'm a bit of a clean freak and I find cleaning somewhat therapeutic at times. I am a very kind and caring person who is considerate and thoughtful of other's and their routines. I value respect and honesty, I'm very easy to get along with, polite, happy to chat, and I also like my own privacy and space too. I don't have any pets but I do love animals. I have my own bedroom furniture and other items, but can be flexible with what is suitable. I have my own transport, but do use public transport occasionally. When home, I am happy for a chat in the evening but I tend to keep to myself if I have work. 3-4 times a week I go for a 5k run. My weekend routine consists of Hiking on Saturday morning, shopping in the afternoon and going out with friends on Saturday nights. I laze around Sunday mornings AND I ONLY use the kitchen on Sunday afternoons to meal prep for the rest of the week, and I clean up after myself very thoroughly. So the rest of the week you will not see me use the kitchen.
