$200/week26 year old man

I'm looking for a place for me and my 7yo dog named Argo. I'm currently working in OSHC at a few schools so I am mostly home during the middle of the day and out early mornings/evenings. I spend a lot of time reading, doing puzzles, going on bush walks with the dog, playing video games and watching cheesy sci-fi movies. I enjoy being creative and trying out different types of arts and music. I'm also passionate about science, history and learning new skills. I'd like to say I like gardening, but that's definitely a skill I'm still working on. I occasionally like to bake and try out new dishes, so I like having a decently stocked pantry. I like to keep things organised and reasonably tidy, but I'm not expecting a place to be spotless. I don't drink or smoke but I don't mind if others do, as long as there is no smoking inside or around the dog. I'd probably call myself an introvert so I I'd prefer a quiter place, but have no issue with guests over or gatherings if told in advance. It's also nice to chat, share a meal or watch a movie/play a game with roommates while also respecting the need for space and quiet times. I appreciate collaboration when it comes to chores and groceries (specifically shared, common items so that there isn't unnecessary waste if people are using the same products), but again respect for personal belongings. Preferably looking for a place within walking distance to shops or near a train station. Something with a decent backyard for the dog to run around as well as nearby parks and trails.

$450/week25-27 year old woman and man

Hello there, My partner Nick and I are seeking a private space or larger share house to join. A bit about us: Mel - I am a horse riding trail guide, permaculture gardener and support worker. I’ve completed my studies in Fine Art focusing on sculpture. My past time includes going for walks in the forest, yoga, hanging out at home, maybe a cheeky op shop! Currently I am taking Western horse riding lessons to improve my riding skills, and I help a friend exercise their horses in the Yarra Valley. Nick - works for a private local bush regeneration company. Nick comes from Jersey, Channel Islands where he found his first love for the natural environment. He has been in Australia for 2 years now, and keen to explore more of the country. Nick also enjoys yoga, bushwalks and the Pig and Whistle where we can score the rarity of British ales on tap. During the work week we are home in the afternoon/evenings for an early-ish dinner, we love to cook using whole foods and support a local friend who has an organic market garden. On the weekends we do a cleaning reset and head out for the day to explore Yarra Valley or the hills. On the first Saturday of the month you will find us at the Kallista market indulging in Ridge Bakery's sourdough croissants. We're also not impartial to a pub meal! On Sundays Mel usually works taking people for horse rides in the picturesque Toolangi Forest. We live a fairly structured life and feel that a clean and comfortable space to come home to is really important to us, as well as a space we can bring our own style. We also value open and clear communication. We come with our 1 yo cat named Wattle who is very well behaved. Loves laying in front of the fire and he's great with kids, dogs and other cats. We would ideally be searching for two rooms, the spare for the very occasional guest/office space/secluded lounge room (if there is only one common lounge area). This is flexible, one room is still ok. Our budget is $500/week for a private space or $430 for a share house arrangement (two bedrooms). Thanks for reading thus far, if you find this at all intriguing we would be happy to meet sometime. Mel and Nick
