Hi guys! I'm Phoebe and I am on the search for somewhere new to live as I just got a new job with a children's charity and just moved down to the ACT. I am 25, pretty easygoing and have been living in share houses for the last 5 years so know the drill pretty well. I am clean, social but like my privacy sometimes and respect others and lead a (mostly) healthy life minus the few blocks of chocolate and glasses of wine I enjoy. I am pretty quite during the week with work etc but enjoy the weekends to go out on walks, socialise (brunch is by far the best meal of the day) and make the most of where I live and also to enjoy going out for a drink or two here or there. I am also new to Canberra so am looking for a place thats more a home and where I can make friends etc rather than just somewhere to sleep at. Also have a flexible move date!
I'm Sam, 25 years old, work in logistics at IKEA and currently commuting from Goulburn for work. Looking to find a place to stay closer to work and Canberra. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful.
Room to rent in FRANKLIN I have a room available in a 5 bedroom house in FRANKLIN. * They all are good sized bedrooms with built-ins * Happy to accept long term and short term tenants * Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and gas cooking Close to main arterial roads *Once a fortnight, all the common areas get professionally cleaned without any extra cost The rent is excluding GAS and Electricity bills. It will get divided by the number of tenants This room comes with garage parking
The room is large enough for a queen bed, bedside tables and a set of drawers. The room comes with a garage spot for a small car. Full length wall-to-wall built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage. Your own bathroom to the bedroom. The bathroom is fully equipped with large-sized shower, soft-close toilet and wall-hung vanity with storage and immediate hot water. The kitchen and living area is on the second floor so you will have your privacy as your room is not on the same floor. The townhouse is right on the popular Red rapid bus route 200 express to civic (Flemington Road) in under 10 mins, less than 5 mins by car or bus to Gungahlin town centre. Some restaurants and a gym nearby. Only 1 minute walking to Franklin shops (Woolworths, doctors, pharmacy, BWS, etc.) NBN internet (Wi-fi) included in the rent. Unlike other shared houses that have many people and are open up to party and noise, this room is like a hotel room. Flatmates are busy working and studying leaving no time to socialise. The area is very quiet and I would like to maintain this so the house rule is not to have any party or being very noisy. It would be ideal if you are a full time student or a busy young driven professional. It would be perfect if you just want to have a nice place to call home and enjoy a modern, clean, new, quiet, stress-free place to rest up, recharge for the next day or study at home. You should have a more or less healthy lifestyles (smokers, heavy drinkers and party animals do not apply) Clean your own room and general tidying up after yourself in the kitchen after use is expected. Sorry no pets. Non smoker only Bond equals 4 week rent. Rent is fortnightly and 2 weeks in advance. Four-week notice required when moving out. Feel free to contact me for an inspection. Room is available now...ad will be taken off as soon as someone takes the room.
New townhouse in Franklin. I am only looking for one house mate. Fully furnished place. Almost everything is new. You will have your own room, bathroom and living room as there are 2 living rooms available. There is also a third toilet on the ground floor. Your room will have a queen size bed and a small desk - a small study nook in the room. Your living room includes couch, coffee table, tv, lamp table - as seen from the photographs. Separate dining/kitchen to be shared. Kitchen utensils are all provided. Ducted heating and cooling throughout the place. I have a little dog so the potential house mate must like animals. There is a bus stop not far away and Franklin town centre is walking distance which has woolworths and cafes. Rent includes unlimited NBN internet, utilities and basic items for the place (i.e garbage bags, dishwashing liquid and cleaning products). The place is ideal for students, people who commute from interstate for work, and people who do not have furnitures or household items - moving furnitures up the staircase was very difficult!!
I'm currently 19 years of age turn 20 in September, currently working in before and after school care looking after children looking at changing drops mid year. Hi all! We're two girls looking for one or two more housemates to start a new share-house with; preferably in the Gungahlin area. We are both clean, tidy, respectful and easy going. Social by nature, we're also both usually up to chat or hang out with the other housemates; however, we respect one's need for space and expect the same from others. Monique works part-time while studying full-time at the University of Canberra and Danielle works full-time while studying part-time at the University of Canberra. We're both non-smokers and health conscious and would prefer like-minded fellow housemates. Danielle also has two fur-babies (cats), so we will be looking for a pet-friendly place. We are looking for housemates with similar qualities, so if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
I am a type of guys who want to keep things tidy, organise so i prefer to live people who keep the living space clean too. You will be find me easy going, friendly. Prefer to socialize and play sport over weekend. Love travelling, hiking and explore new places. Preferably looking a ensuite room but not necessary and not prefer to live with couples
Hi there, I am a young professional civil engineer originally from Sydney relocating to Canberra for work purpose. Due to heavy workload, I will be at work most of the time during weekdays but I am always up for little chit-chats and a bit of netflix together. Unfortunately I do not cook so less messy for all of us but i always keep everything clean, organised and simple.
We currently have one bedroom available in our three bedroom house. It's close enough to the main roads that it makes travelling to the city really easy whether it's via car or bus. The house also comes with two parking spots, and since only one of us plans on getting a car anytime soon, that means that there's a guaranteed spot for the next potential tenant. We also are open to the option of adding utilities and internet into the weekly rent. The two of us living here don't use a lot of energy so the bills tend to be very low and easy to split when they come. As for internet, we have unlimited NBN.
Hey, My name is Allie and I'm 21 years old. I currently work full time in realestate and also teach dance on the side. On top of this I'm also studying my realestate certificate so I'm relatively busy. I'm a polite, clean and respectful person who is always more than happy to chip in and do my part around the house. I'm after a place where I can feel like I'm at home not like I'm staying in someone else's place and I'm also after roommates who aren't scared to have a chat and hangout but can also respect privacy 😊✌️
Hi There, We are a group of three looking to find a fourth person to share a house with. Two of us, Rachel & Mick, are a couple. Rachel is 29 & is studying & working in the field of Psychology. Mick is 33 & works in Defence. To make things easy, we have another Rachelle, 27, who is an Interior Designer. We are hoping to find a home in the inner north or Gungahlin area. Mick would eventually like to get a dog, so we are looking to find somewhere that is pet friendly. We are hoping to find someone who is a similar age, doesn't mind the occasional housemate hang out & is both clean & respectful. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! 😊

I am currently looking for a friendly, easy-going household, with people who I can have a good conversation with over a cup of tea or go out for a drink with. I am generally a busy person and have varied interests. My time is divided by my work (full time public servant), friends, gym, art, and travel. However, I like staying home some nights cooking, reading, listening to music and just generally relaxing. I don't mind living with just one housemate or multiple. I get along with mostly anyone, but would like to live with people who are considerate and generally tidy. Mostly though I would like to live with people who I can be friends with with and who are interested in people. My favourite things are my friends and family, traveling, galleries and museums, hiking and spending time outdoors, cycling, farmers markets (and food generally), a good book, and coffee times in the morning. Please also note that I am flexible with the move date as I am keen to find people who will love living with me as much as I love living with them.
Hi! My name's Queen, I'm Nigerian and I'm 18 (19 in may).I'm a tidy and neat individual who has respect for personal space. I'm currently in my third year at ACU studying Education (Primary)- fulltime. Although I may like to keep to myself at times, I do enjoy the occassional chat and dinner. Not that much of a social butterfly so there's barely any house visits. I do enjoy listening to music though (alot!) I'm a total dog lover so it's not a problem at all if your house is pet friendly! Currently looking for a space in north canberra. My budget is from 150 - 165/week . Bills included preferably.

Hey all so I'm a 29yo guy working full time with Unisys who has been about the block with share houses for a while now so I've got the routine sorted. I'm pretty busy during the week at the moment with overtime but I love cooking, reading and having some good times be it a simple cuppa or a games night among housemates but lets be hones who doesn't like some sneaky UNO and a few drinks. Hoping to find some people to share with, either an existing house or to form a new one, that like to have dinners together that I can bounce recipes off and have a good time. As for socialising I regularly go to the movies with friends every Tuesday and you're more than welcome to join the group. I love the going out to wine and dine the night away occasionally at a good restaurant so if dining is your thing hit me up
