I'm a full-time student looking for accommodation in (preferrably) a sharehouse. I've just completed my first year at the ANU studying a bachelor of science/languages majoring in Japanese and Marine Science. Easy-to-get-along-with local Canberran and love music, dogs and a good dance and drink with friends.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
I have been renting a private Granny Flat since 2012, sadly the property is going on the market to sell. I keep any where I live whether it be mine or rented clean & tidy, I am laid-back but not lazy, I am social as well as enjoy my own space & quiet times, I respect others space.
Quiet couple from Regional NSW. 1 is a full-time Law and Commerce student at UC whilst working part-time as a Paralegal in Deakin. The other works full-time as a 3rd year Apprentice Plumber. Looking predominantly to start a share-house with people of a similar age. I have lived in shared student accommodation for 12 months so I understand personal space and how to 'share'! We are quiet mostly and keep to ourselves (utilising Netflix and ice cream binge sessions), however we don't mind the odd social event.
Hello, my name is Michael. I am a international student from China studying at UC. I put most of the time in part-time working and studying as well. During the spare time, I would play basketball or go to the gym, reading books or be cooking at home. Please contact me. Thank you.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors. - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Hey everyone!! About the house: We are looking for a third person to share a large modern house with us! We will be applying for 4+ bedroom homes - most likely renovated or near new. You will have the master bedroom with walk in robe and ensuite and potentially your own living area. The propective housemate will be paying $280-350ish, with the total cost of the house being $650-800. Rach will rent two bedrooms, one for herself and one for her home business, and Ash will take the final one. The house will be fully furnished only requiring you to bring your bedroom. If you do have furniture of your own I am sure we will be able to accomodate as most of the places we are interested in have multiple living spaces. A little about us: Rach works full time the for APS as a Senior Project Officer upgrading the infrastructure at APH and runs a small business after work and on weekends.. (yes, I do have time off work.. sometimes!) Somewhere in amungst this she also studies a never ending part time degree of Building and Construction Management at UC. As a result it is pretty rare that you will find her sitting on the couch or hanging around the house with nothing to do! Random fact: favourite band - red hot chilli peppers!! Ash also works full time for the APS as an Executive Assistant at the ACCC and keeps herself busy during the week at crossfit. Of a weekend she will usually either travel to our home town or catch up with friends. Random fact: salt and vinegar flavoured anything! In summary... We are pretty laid back, easy to get along with, mature and love to have friends around every now and then however are well and truely past our days of partying every weekend. We would be looking for someone who is happy to have a dinner and a drink together of an occasion, but is also happy to do their own thing most of the time. We have lived in share houses for a long time and expect everyone to clean up after themselves and be proactive in sharing the cleaning duties throughout the common areas. That being said, we aren't absolute clean freaks either. Our preference is for a male, mid to late twenties however definitely more than happy for females to get in touch too. Shoot us a message if you'd like any more info or to catch up to meet! Legends need only apply :)

Hi People, We have one bedroom with private ensuite available in a 5 bedroom house from 11th Dec for $195. The bedroom is unfurnished but has built in robes. The room can fit in a queen bed easily. The house is situated in a quiet part of Evatt, across the road from a park and express bus stops to the city, University of Canberra, and Westfield Belconnen. The house has off-street parking, ducted heating, evaporative cooling, multiple living areas, unlimited ADSL 2(soon to be NBN), a huge deck and a big kitchen where you'll have your own pantry. Looking for an amazing human to move into my room and make this beautiful place their home. Your new bedroom is a reasonable size with built in mirrored cupboards for plenty of storage and hanging space. The house has a sizeable kitchen with a huge fridge, double dishwasher, gas stove and oven and is open plan to a comfortable living area that is all fully furnished with comfy recliners and TV with chrome cast. There is one shared bathroom, which has a good pressure shower and bath, plus cupboard space for bathroom things. The bathroom is also home to a top loader washing machine for your use. There is an incredible deck that is fitted out with couches so you can enjoy napping in the sun as you look out over the garden, where our only mandatory job is to mow the lawn (though you're welcome to have a crack at the garden if this is something you fancy). There is also a double garage that has a small home gym and clothes line to hang washing (plus there being extra storage room for bikes/camping gear/etc), as well as there being a clothesline outside. The house has very effective reverse cycle air conditioning making it quick to heat and cool in summer/winter. Water is included in the rent, internet is $20 a month for unlimited and electricity and gas are paid quarterly which is not included in the rent cost. The room has the potential to be furnished with a queen ensemble bed on request. You will live in walking distance from Lake Ginninderra and riding distance to pretty much anywhere (depending on how far you want to cycle).

I'm a clean and tidy 23 year old government worker. I've just been offered a role to start on the 27th of November in Belconnen, so I'd like to move up the weekend just before I start. I don't have many possessions other than my computer and my clothes, a few books and vinyl records - as such i would prefer a room that's already furnished (so i don't have to bring heaps more furnishings down from Sydney) but if the room isn't furnished i can do have the option to bring my bed/table/bedside table and things. I'm bilingual, and I love the outdoors. Fishing is my favourite pastime, but also enjoy kayaking, camping and biking as well as bush regeneration. I don't smoke, have no pets, no children and i live a pretty minimalist life. I do have a goal of moving to Canada next year for work which may happen so I have already gotten rid of alot of my possessions. I'm respectful and courteous, and I understand everybody likes their own private time even when sharing a house. let me know if you are interested in having me as a flatmate :)

Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person.
