Hi! My name is Pete and we have two rooms available in our share house in Mckellar. There is two of us here at the moment, 34(M) and 28(M), both full time workers. The most important attributes we are looking for: Maturity Share house experience Over 24 years old Currently employed Able to openly and constructively discuss any issues Able to consistently clean up after themselves Willing to contribute towards the house cleaning roster. The main game here is growing veggies, and lots of them. We have 8 garden beds that are pumping out delicious food and 5 productive chickens. Looking for someone who would like to share in the spoils and hopefully put some of their own inspiration into the garden. Gardening experience is not neccessary, we are more looking for someone with an interest in building skills in self sustainability, who enjoys the outdoors, and like fresh veggies. The house would suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and wouldnt mind the fact that we don't have a lounge room - the dining room and outside are for chilling. While the house is well insulated, there's no air-con or heating. The available rooms are a medium size and unfurnished. One has a built in robe and one comes with some cupboards, the prices are $150 and $140 per week. Bond is four weeks rent. Internet is $17.50/month each and bills are split evenly. 6 month stay minimum. We cannot have cats or dogs. Regardless of how cute or well behaved you cat or dog is, it's not going to happen. Keen cyclist, full time student and part time work leaves me pretty busy so probably not spending a great deal of time around other than for food and study
im from Canberra, working as a Work health and safety officer. I am very clean and friendly. Loves to have a laugh and make new friends. Like to socialise but also like me privacy at times.
Hi! My name is Manpreet and I'm a 23 year old that works full time in public service. I am a friendly and easy going person, and have lived in share houses before in both Melbourne and Canberra, so I make sure to clean up after myself and respect others' privacy. I am also studying part time, and therefore prefer a quiet place. That being said, I do enjoy chatting with housemates and being friends. In my spare time I love going to the gym, hiking, reading and watching some quality Netflix. Message me if you're interested and I am also keen on teaming up :) I am available to move in at the end of February.

Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. this is non negotiable too. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors (highly preferable, but could be overlooked if everything else was perfect) - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live with infants, young children, or a family/home stay style arrangement. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin, Dunlop, Harrison, or Crace - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Looking for an amazing human to move into the house and make this beautiful place their home. The bedroom is reasonable size with built in mirrored cupboards for plenty of storage and hanging space. The house has a sizeable kitchen with a huge fridge, double dishwasher, gas stove and oven and is open plan to a comfortable living area that is all fully furnished with comfy recliners and TV with chrome cast. There is one shared bathroom, which has a good pressure shower and bath, plus cupboard space for bathroom things. The bathroom is also home to a top loader washing machine for your use. There is an incredible deck that is fitted out with couches so you can enjoy napping in the sun as you look out over the garden, where our only mandatory job is to mow the lawn (though you're welcome to have a crack at the garden if this is something you fancy). There is also a double garage that has a small home gym and clothes line to hang washing (plus there being extra storage room for bikes/camping gear/etc), as well as there being a clothesline outside. The house has very effective reverse cycle air conditioning making it quick to heat and cool in summer/winter. Water is included in the rent, internet is $20 a month for unlimited and electricity and gas are paid quarterly which is not included in the rent cost. The room has the potential to be furnished with a queen mattress on request. You will live in walking distance from Lake Ginninderra and riding distance to pretty much anywhere (depending on how far you want to cycle).
Fantastic ensuite room with private bathroom. Room and house are fully furnished, so just bring your suitcase and settle in. Would suit a couple looking for something better than campus accommodation, but cheaper than getting your own place. Room has a double size bed, massive built-in robes, and a private bathroom. Shared areas include a well furnished living room, laundry with dryer, and a completely stocked kitchen. The place is right next door to the belconnen mall which include all social amenity, and some of the best restaurants in Canberra. Surrounded in parks, which are great to just hang out in on a sunny day or for playing sports. We'll let you take care of your own spaces, but we will all share duties in keeping the communal spaces clean. All bills included in the rent.free access to swimming pool tennis court and gym. Couple is 20 dollars more to cover the utilities.

I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
International couple looking for a place to live for less than a year. Stephen is Canberra native and have two part time jobs and Liz is from Sweden on her second year work and holiday visa. We are a relaxed couple who like to keep to ourself but also are happy to socialise. Love to cook, watch movies and tv shows and hang with our dog, a Samoyed called Tali.
I am 17 getting a job soon and need a place to live just looking around pretty easy I clean for myself and others. As long as there isn’t music playing at 4 in the morning im generally happy looking for a place for 8 months or more but anything is okay
I'm looking for a place and people that will be fun and cool to hang out with but also respect my privacy and space. I'm a pretty clean person so don't like when the washing up is left for 5 days at a time but also won't yell at you if you leave your clothes laying around. I'm young and looking for people I can do things with, I don't mind having a drink after work sometimes so if you love a wine you'll love me!
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
Hi my name is Sheridan, I am 20 years old going into my third year of university and work part time at a horse riding centre as a junior coach. Previously living with four others on student residents, I'm looking to move off campus and find a nice place with some new faces. I am quiet, considerate and tidy. I am not a big party goer but won't say no to a glass of wine and a chat.
I'm willing to consider anywhere in Canberra, especially north side. I love movies and Netflix and reading, and I enjoy chatting, tv and meeting people. I love good food and I'm curious about almost everything. I've traveled a lot, living and working overseas. I've also worked with languages, as a carer, in big business, and in greenhouses. I've lived in many share houses over time. I'm working on polishing my story ready for publishing. I have recently come to Canberra to be closer to my daughter. I might have more years behind me, but that doesn't make me older. I'm very friendly, quiet, flexible and easy going.
would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area, would prefer to live with an owner, or longer term stay, and would prefer an all inclusive rate. please send an email thanks
Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I adopted Beau 4 months ago from Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Beau is super friendly and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive at all, and loves the company of other furry friends.I will be starting work as a Youth Worker Part Time on the 31st of January. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. I would prefer a room that is furnished if possible. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.
