We just moved in this awesome house, timber flooring, spacious, with a front and back yard, and a huge living room which we are still trying to furnish (yes it's that big)! We have the basic things in the house e.g. fridge, microwave, guitar (yes it's one of the essentials), washing machine, kitchen stuff etc. Room: One room just became available as one of the housemates had to leave, so don't miss out! The room has timber flooring and a built in wardrobe. $144/Week --> $623/Month Location: Glenhuntly Railway Station is 8min away walking. Glenhuntly road where you can find Woolworths/restaurants is 5min. Monash Caulfield campus is a 25min walk, or 1 stop station away (5min).
As a masters student with a part time job, I'm usually very busy and am out of the house most days of the week. I'm originally from India, fluent in english, studying banking and finance. I'm friendly, enjoy company but totally get that everyone needs their alone time. I'm organised and like a clean space to live in especially if sharing a bathroom. I enjoy cooking up a big Indian family kind of meal every now and again and love sharing the occasional beer or 2 :). I have no preferences/objections when it comes to housemates, believe everyone is equal and we could all use a little more love in the world.
Hi, I'm Aidz, 30 y/o, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'll be arriving in Melbourne on June 26. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
I'm Indonesian Commercial Cookery Student Currently working at MCG , Studying at Dandenong. I respect others privacy , love to hang out , easy - going . Place that have parking, modern house , and clean would be preferable. I don't mind places that have dogs as i love dogs. I would prefer housemate that's sociable but respect my quiet time as well. I would bring my friend home once in a while and i hope my housemate doesn't mind.
Hi I'm from New Zealand and have spent most of my time over the last few years living in Melbourne and am moving back again to Melbourne next month 😊 I work with horses full time so normally keep to myself during the week as I'm busy with work but enjoy socialising and having a bit of fun on my weekends off. Looking for a homely place preferably near Caulfield racecourse as I don't have my own transport just yet. Thank you!
We're a travel-loving, international couple (Aussie/French) who moved from Germany->Australia in March. Kellie is a physicist and Emilie is a translator. We're both from massive families (we each have a parent with 10 siblings!) and have lived in sharehouses of all sizes. We're neat, love cooking, and enjoy having housemates with whom we can interact on a less-awkward level than scuttling around in the kitchen and avoiding in the hallway. Kellie just got a job in Melbourne starting mid-June. We're new to the city so would love to meet new people. We're not really party animals (anymore) but are always up for wine/dinner/movie nights. We have zero furniture and will be arriving in Melbourne from Sydney so a furnished place would be prefered.
Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 23 and looking to move into a private room in suburbs closer to the city. I study at RMIT doing Social Science. I also work casually in Cheltenham. I take pride in my respect for other peoples homes, and their privacy. I'm a big fan of hanging out in my room or a lounge room watching movies or TV series. I have my own furniture that I must bring with me - or at least have to bring my bed. I would prefer to move into a place with similar aged people, but the gender of the other house mates is not a problem.

Hi we are Jasmin and Richard, quiet, friendly, a bit nerdy, easy-going people. We are 22, vegetarians and science students (I will soon become a PhD student). We are not looking for a party house, but relaxed, kind room-mates. We are looking for one room in a place that is walking distance from a train station. We would occasionally have guests over, but are generally pretty quiet. We would also want to decorate a room with our own furniture. If you think you would get along with us please contact me!
The property is at the end of a lovely tree-lined street with a spacious porch and large front lawn with great potential for any budding gardeners. It also has a huge backyard, three large storage sheds and not one but two clothes lines! Inside the house is clean and tidy with a comfortable shared living room and good-sized kitchen. One housemate has their own ensuite and you will be sharing a seperate toilet and bathroom with the rest of the housemates. There is a rotating shared chore roster in place that all housemates follow to ensure the house is spick and span. Rent is paid monthly and is incredibly good value for students. Internet and bills are seperate to rent, are split evenly and are due every 1-3 months but are never too expensive. There is a Woolworths less than 7 minutes' walk away, Glenhuntly train station (one stop after Caulfield), is approximately a seven minute walk and the 67 tram runs just out front of the Woolworths. The room gets great natural light throughout day, it is large, fits a bed, desk and clothing rack/cupboard comfortably, it comes furnished with a bed, desk and a rack with some draws. Ideal for an exchange student. The furniture can also be removed if need be. There is a gas heater in the living room, high ceilings throughout the house with nice period details, high speed cable internet, washing machine, refrigerator and a carport. Please text me as this is preferred! Look forward to hearing from you.
I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working in India for last 10 years. I have a Masters degree from Monash University and am looking for roles in Consulting. I am articulate, quiet and clean, and would be happy to chip in to keep the place neat and clean. I like my space and quiet and not into late nights or loud parties. But I would be happy to have a chat at the end of the day. May be even cook together or share a meal. I like to meditate and exercise every day to keep the mind and body fit and balanced. I require a furnished place to stay for 2-3 months, after which my wife will join me and then we will move into an apartment. The ideal place would be conveniently located close to public transport, shops, library, park and the pool.

I'll be moving from India to Melbourne on around 20th Feb. A bit about me: I'm an adjusting fun loving graphic designer from India, 24-year-old, coming to Melbourne to pursue masters of design from Monash university. Looking for a place near to my Univ. I'm quite social but only on weekends. Not a party monster. Respects everyone's privacy. If interested, please message! 🙂 Hoping to hear from you. 🙂
Third year commerce student working steady part time hours, looking to move into the south east in June/July this year. I'm interested in moving into a small spare house (max 3 bedrooms) or else find some like minded people to apply for our own place. My ideal flatmates are students or young professionals who are friendly and can have a cheeky wine together, and generally know how to respect each other and the apartment. Not too rowdy on week nights and a non-smoker is a must. In my spare time I enjoy travelling (when it can be afforded), creative writing , cooking, and going out to bars with friends.
Hi, I'm Daniel, 24, and I've just moved down from Brisbane. I work full time in aviation at Moorabin, but when I have some time off, I enjoy kite surfing and skating. I love cooking and I'm a brewer as well. I'm musical and enjoy playing my guitar and such. I'm a friendly and sociable and easy to get on with. Cheers.
Hey There, I'm living in Melbourne for 5 months now and am currently working full-time so I'm barely at home to be honest. I need a place to stay at and roommates that are fun to be around, easy going and clean. I have a bit of an OCD myself to the house won't be a mess and I'm always considerate when it comes to living with flatmates. If you're the same, I'll be more than happy to share a flat :) Cheers, Sam
Im 29, friendly flexible and easygoing Engineering professional looking for a nice place to live.
I am a Danish girl coming to Australia to study a Master's degree in International Relations at Monash University, Caulfield campus. I will begin my studies this summer and I am therefore arriving in Australia in the beginning of July. I am an easy-going fun person who both enjoys being social but also like my own company. I see myself as easy and great to live with since I take my share of responsibilities in a household and I am in general a very considerate person. I like cooking and actually enjoy cleaning (most of the time). I have a minor obsession with indoor plants and do in general find interest in interior design and like to decorate. In my spare time, I enjoy creative activities like drawing and sewing. I also love to work out and take good care of my body but I am not fanatic when it comes to being healthy. I love travelling and I have travelled quite a lot in Europe, Asia, USA and Africa and have worked as a volunteer both in Africa and Asia so I have seen and experienced both many awesome but also unpleasant things. What I want to say with this, is that it takes quite a lot to scare me (except from dogs, which is actually quite embarrassing).
