Hi there! 👋 My son is 8 - not 88! 😂 (The app didn’t give me the option, so here we are!) I’m a 31-year-old woman working in the NDIS sector, looking for a place to live with my 8-year-old son, who stays with me every second week. We also have a cat named Leo - he’s part Burmese and 100% legend. He does his business outside, so no stinky litter trays to worry about. 😌 I’d love to team up to get a rental! Leo’s awesome, but on my weeks without my son, I sometimes find myself teetering on the edge of crazy cat lady territory - judging by the depth and length of my conversations with him in the absence of other humans to talk to. 🥴 Happy to share with females, a couple, or a family in either Logan or the Northern Gold Coast. A little about me: - I’m a Christian country girl from far Nth QLD - I don’t smoke, vape, drink, or party. - I prefer a simple, intentional lifestyle - “live simply so that others may simply live.” - I donate regularly to organisations that help provide food and education for children in need. (When I realised ditching streaming services and takeaways could sponsor a few kids, it was a no-brainer!) - I also recently ditched the TV and social media to prioritise real-life experiences with my son - practising what I preach about screen time! That said, you’re totally welcome to relax with TV or scroll to your heart’s content — just one small plea: no horror or murder docs in the shared living room, please. 🫣 My interests include: 🌿 discovering new places in nature 🦐 pumping yabbies (and putting them back - no fishing gear yet!) 🚗 road trips 📖 reading and writing poetry 💛 volunteer work and advocacy 🪿 being a silly goose About Billy 👦🔥 Billy is my 8-year-old whirlwind of curiosity, creativity, and chaotic brilliance. Definitely never a dull moment when he’s around. 😂 He’s an only child, which means he’s got a streak of maturity and independence that sometimes makes me feel like I’M the sidekick. One day he’s starting a garden or running a worm farm; the next, he’s making paint out of rocks or attempting to start a fire by hand using a technique he saw on YouTube (closely supervised, don’t worry!). He loves exploring, creating, inventing new games, and collecting anything that could possibly be the world’s coolest stick or rock. He’s funny, determined, and has an imagination that could power a small city. If you enjoy a bit of adventure, laughter, and the occasional outdoor science experiment, you’ll love having Billy around.

I used to live here a long time ago and recently came for a holiday and fell in love with the place all over again!
