- I am super clean and will always clean up after myself - I love to have a chat but am just as easily happy to stay in my own space - I am responsible - I take care of other peoples belongings - I respect others need for personal space - I don't smoke and the only pet I have is a plant
Hey :) I'm a clinical psychologist in training, moving up to Brisbane soon to start my Masters at UQ. I'm a chilled Christian girl from Sydney and am looking for a home with likeminded housemates who are big on building community. In my spare time I love painting, having a wine, spending time in nature, and adventures! *At this point I am planning to move up in early Feb, but can be flexible and move earlier for the right place!
I study a Bachelor of Education at UQ, as well as work 2 casual jobs in the city, so I'm normally running around and busy during the week! I've lived in Brisbane for 2 years and moved here to study, lived out of home since I was 18 so know how to take care of myself and the home I'm sharing, and love a clean house. Always open for a chat with the housemates and to do stuff together when we're free! On the weekend I love adventuring and heading straight to the beach or catching up with friends. I'm looking for a place with similar aged people that are friendly, clean and sociable, but also appreciates a bit of down time during the week as well.

I'm a 30 yo female, full time employed, tidy, sane and down for a yarn. I'm partial to a couple of beers or sometimes just like to blob out and watch some flicks. I'm laid back and easy to get along with.
Hi there! I'm a 23 year old working full-time as a receptionist in a Real Estate agency, where I will soon be moving up to property management. I'm fairly quiet and reserved but once I'm comfortable I tend to be quite an extrovert. I'm really easy going so we shouldn't have any problems getting along :) I really enjoy having my own space but love to mingle and chat every now and then. I would love to find a place to call home with lovely people I could eventually call friends! I've recently moved here from Darwin about 9 months ago and am enjoying the great weather, so I try to get out and explore what Brisbane has to offer!
Relaxed and easy-going flatmate looking for somewhere pet friendly! I work full time, have an active lifestyle and generally keep to myself, but am always up for a sneaky beverage or life chat. Am looking for a place from as little as 3 to 12+ months.
Two final year medical students looking for a couple of rooms at the start of Jan. We spend close to full-time working hours at hospital, and then a good portion outside that studying. And then with time left over, we're pretty average people- play some video games, go out for movies, dinners, hikes and the occasional board games night. I've also got a partner living in Brisbane, and he'll likely visit from time to time. We are looking for chill roomates, who are also responsible with bills, tidy and respectful.
The room: Big enough for a queen-sized bed and small desk. Built in wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors. The main bathroom is essentially your ensuite – just a step outside your door. The unit: Has an open plan living space with air-conditioning (although we try to steer away from it to save $$). A large patio with nice views and breezes. A cupboard laundry with sink. Situated in a really good spot – 5 mins to the city, 2 mins to the highway, Aldi and grocers within walking distance/Coles and Woolies only 5 min drive, 10 min drive to Griffith university, 10min drive to Westfeild Garden City and Carindale, 5 mins walk to a local park/walking track. Private garage with some room for storage. Bills include electricity (usually $100pp per quarter), gas (for hot water – usually $50pp per quarter) and internet (unlimited, NBN coming very soon - $30pp per month).
Looking for a private room (unfurnished) in a shared household or people to team up with to get a place that I would be able to call home. Im hoping to find a place around The PA hospital. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with. Im respectful of others and i'm always up for a drink or two ;) srsly y'all hit me up
Just 6 kilometres from the city and very close to transport. Walk to Greenslopes hospital. Quiet leafy street. Bbq and back deck. Huge backyard. Walk to many cafes, shops and bars. Your bathroom is shared with just one other and has a spa bath! Main living has air conditioning. Kitchen has brand new oven / cooktop and a dishwasher.
THIS TWO BEDROOM UNIT IS AVAILABLE ON THE 12th OF JANUARY 2019, THE HOME & UNIT This is a very unique home, This unfurnished unit is part of huge 7 bedroom and 6 bathroom home. It is an old Queenslander that has been remodelled into 3 distinct and separate areas all with their own kitchens and private entrances and each with two bathrooms. This home has been lifted up off the ground and has two x 2 bedroom units built underneath. The unit is situated at ground level at the rear of the house via a side path which leads to a gated entrance to the large back yard and unit. There is a small shed in the yard and space for some things if you need. There is also a table and chair set in the yard in case you are a smoker however there is no smoking within the unit. The front of the house has a three space car park, one allocated for the unit. Otherwise there is street parking available and with no parking meters etc. UPSTAIRS FLATMATES: I am a nurse and work with the elderly in the community, I am very lucky as I just love my job however I work long hours and am a shift worker. My flatmate is a really nice guy who also works full time and in his job works nights so he sleeps all day. We are both considerate, kind and respectful people. This is not a party house upstairs we don't play music or make loud noises being respectful of our work and sleep patterns. Basically we are all shift workers and hardly ever see each other. THE AREA: This unit is so close to everything including the City and South bank. Suitable for anyone working or studying. 5 min walk to Stones Corner, and Public Transport (Train and Bus Stations) via the council pathway. 10 mins trip to UQ and 15 to Griffith. Walking distance to the P.A.H. and Buranda Shopping Center with Target and Woolworth's and on the other side of the property walking distance to the beautiful Stones Corner Park and Waterway and then onto the Stones Corner Village with Aldi, the Stones Corner Hotel as well as many lovely restaurants and shops. THE UNIT: The private entrance with sliding door and security screens fitted opens in to the open plan lounge and a new kitchen, chefs oven with 4 x electric hotplates & rangehood. There is plenty of space and cupboards for your kitchen utensils and appliances and fridge. The master bedroom is situated towards the rear of the unit and has its own ensuite with shower. The master bedroom also has a huge three (3) x double door built ins and a new split system air conditioner which can cool the whole unit. The second bedroom is a very good size and has a double built in wardrobe. The surprise is inside the wardrobe as it comprises a huge storage area situated under the stairs and is carpeted throughout. This unit also comprises a second bathroom with a laundry space for your washing machine. The hallway has a storage cupboard for linen and blankets etc which is situated opposite the second bathroom. Internet is supplied free with rent You must have your own electricity connected. THE RENT: This unit is very well priced at $260 per week, this includes unlimited fast internet, water usage, lawn maintenance / lawn mowing, rubbish bins out each week and is also allocated its own carpark at the front of home, off the street. You must have your own electricity connected. THE BOND: The bond amount is $520 being two weeks rent which is held till vacate date after carpet cleaning and unit thoroughly cleaned. At unit inspection and if there is no damage etc then it is fully refunded in cash immediately after inspection. VACATE -: If either party wants to give notice for any reason then when you wish to vacate TWO WEEKS NOTICE IS REQUIRED so that I can find another tenant within the two weeks notice period. The reason the $520 bond is held is because if you leave without giving notice then I still have two weeks to find someone and also in case there is any damage to the unit
I am a very chilled, positive person to live with. Have had many share houses large and small, so know how to be a great housemate. Have many glowing references from previous housemates I have shared with in the past, as many have become dear friends in the process. I am clean and tidy, but not obsessive, change loo rolls, empty bins, liberate spiders, wash my dishes, share meals, love animals and kids, always pay my bills. I suck at looking after plants which is the bane of my life. I enjoy a glass of wine here and there, but prefer a non smoking house. I feel like I have become an extroverted introvert- love spending time with friends and having a laugh, but also need time to myself, particularly since I have become a primary school teacher. Love trashy tv, (Netflix/Hulu), reading, singing, catching up with friends and family. Heading back to Brissie after a couple of years in a remote community, and then a few more on the Sunny Coast, I am looking forward to getting back into Pilates/yin yoga, kayaking, leisurely bike rides and appreciating all the inner city has to offer. I am looking for a long term share where I can feel at home. I have a little bit of furniture but happy to store or sell it if needed. Have a car, but not fussed about needing off street parking, although some kind of parking option will be needed.
Our home is a spacious townhouse set out over three levels. It features air conditioning throughout, a large balcony off the living and dining room and a pool which is perfect for Brisbane summers! It is within walking distance of the south side busway, so very well connected to the city and major universities. There is also a Coles at the end of the street - so everything is very accessible without a car. Your room is on its own level of the house, with its own bathroom and shower. We each contribute $15/month to internet, and our electricity bill is paid quarterly. We will be resigning a twelve month lease from Feb 1, which you would also need to sign!
- Near new building, with beautiful timber finishing throughout. - 3 story townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - Spacious bedroom avail with own bathroom, built in robe, air con and fan - Private courtyard and upstairs balcony - House is fully furnished, just don’t have current photos - 5 min walk to Coles. - Extremely close to public transport with buses only 200m walk. - 5 minute walk to Greenslopes Private Hospital and short 10 min bus ride to Mater Hospital.
I have a bubbly personality, love cooking and I try do something every weekend. I am neat and tidy, I also like having time to myself as well. I work in Capalaba, as an admin for a Certifier company.
Gday Im Kane. Ive been working up in Cairns as a Speech Pathologist in the hospital. Early in the new Year I'll be coming back to Brisbane to reengage with my mates and preferred city for a while. I'm looking for a furnished room, at least with a bed and internet to stay in the short to midterm. I'll come back and teach my old job as an English teacher in the city while I look for the next Speech Pathology gig, potentially rural. I'd be in Brisbane realistically at least 1-2 months, potentially more, depending on how the healthcare job search is going. I'm grown up enough, know how to clean up after self and maintain a respectable household and am adverse to drama. During the week I'll be focusing on work, the job seek and exercise. On weekends I like to get out with mates for a hike or swim, go to a reggae/roots concert, go speak Spanish with some people, or play a nerd boardgame. If you have a bed, think I'd fit in and don't mind the short-midterm stay, feel free to drop me a line. Cheers.
Hi! I'm 22 and just graduated with my Bachelor of Paramedic Science (therefore handy to have around). I'm working part time while waiting to hear back about full time work. My furbaby, Patch is moving with me, so definitely need a place with a backyard or sorts. He tends to sleep all day and at roughly 4pm everyday he is ready for his afternoon walk. I enjoy having friends over for coffee, dinners or board game nights, but also like my own time. Not much of a party person, but I enjoy a bevvy every now and then.
Hi everyone! I just recently moved to Brisbane from Canada to pursue my Masters of Counselling at the University of Queensland and I am looking for somewhere to stay starting in February with some awesome flatmates! I am very clean, respectful, and friendly. I'm hoping to live with others whom are down for a chat, movie nights, or drinks on nights off!
