Hello potential flatmates! Marly and Chris here…. Nice to meet you :D Below we have some light reading for you - aka our lengthy bio. We’re 2 mates keen on teaming up with some other people who hopefully share the same share house ideals as us. Our ideal share house would be one that see’s the house crew having a dinner or 2 together each week, sharing any celebrations with each other, or just having a chat and a beer with a roommate after work. In short were wanting to be friends with who we live with – not just roommates… nawww Definitely keen on getting a house thats a bit well ah... fancy... Looking to upgrade our lifestyles so getting a nice house is a priority for us. Most importantly though (and somewhat non-negotiable) we would like to live in a house that is always clean and never has a dirty dish to have to work around. Roommates who are on the cusp of OCD would be the dream. Were both keen on living with people around the same age as us, people who have their finances in order, and who want to create a long term home to love and respect. Bonus points for anyone who takes the time to water some of Marlys indoor plants. Now a bit about ourselves… Marly’s main focus in life, it would be fair to say is his business – which is ironically, running and managing share houses throughout Brisbane. Each week he can provide the house with a super entertaining story of a tenant mishap while knowing all the tricks of the trade to fend off any nasty property managers we may have to deal with. When he isn’t getting his share house hustle on he is trying to keep fit, riding his electric skateboard or taking his fancy car to the race track for some hot laps. And now onto Chris... Chris’s life revolves around food and cheffing. An absolute wizard in the kitchen he can legit make a meal out of next to nothing. He will be starting his own little pop-up restaurant very shortly so whether it be the weekly house dinner or an outing to his restaurant, we will be eating like kings. If he isn’t in Bris he will be down the coast bodyboarding or heading out of town to work at a world-class restaurant somewhere to hone his skills.

Hi! Professional worker (fifo) with an inside dog, looking for an easy going place to live with easy going, lovely people or person. I’m 39, female, pretty relaxed. I love to cook and get out and about with my Great Dane. He (my Great Dane) is 4, very well trained in obedience and some agility and is a couch potato by day but needs his twice daily walks or he goes nuts! I’m looking for preferably TWO rooms (or half a house to share)!!!!! I have all my own stuff of everything! Happy to share use of my stuff or happy to put it in storage. When I am away at work, I would really love it if you would allow my dog to stay there with your love and attention and a daily walk? Do you live dogs too? My boy gets along with most dogs so a house with other animals is great!! Big ask! I know!! But willing to negotiate 🙂 Let’s chat!!!

Born in a Brisbane and enjoy a life of a travelling, learning & creating. I currently work in retail at a clothing store and am looking at studying in the arts field next year. I love yoga, dancing, writing and can also talk on end about conspiracies, spirituality & politics (the majority of topics probably best left unspoken.) I am reliable, tidy and actually find the Sunday spruce up quite therapeutic. With me a housemate, I promise to help deck the house out with a bunch of flora, cook you a veggie meal or two & always respect your space. I also have an indoor kitty named Sophie who I’d love to bring with me but is not essential in finding the perfect place.
A tidy, easygoing guy working full time in the city as a Consultant. Born and raised here in Brisbane. Usually out and about but I'm pretty quiet when I'm at home; still always down for a bevvy and a chat. Looking to start up a new house with some like-minded people or to find a good fit in an existing household. My move-in dates are flexible to any time after October. I come with some furniture if needed - fridge, washing machine, sofas, TV and a dining room table plus chairs. Feel free to send me a message if you think we'd be a good fit!
Hi, My name is Bec, I am 28 and work full-time in mental health. In my spare time, I love to get outdoors (e.g. beach, hikes, running and cycling), go to the gym, spend time with friends and relax (love a good Netflix sesh - life is all about balance ;)). I'm currently looking for a place on the south side and would like to find a like-minded housemate to move in with and/or team up to find a suited place together (2 bed, 2 bath preferred). My ideal housemate would be another young professional who is around the same age as me and is social but also respectful of each other's privacy/down time. I bring with me some furniture (e.g. my own bedroom furniture, a large comfy corner couch, TV, microwave, plants and a few other random house objects). Also happy to buy some more furniture/house items etc. if needed. My preference is to have my own bathroom and space to park my car as I do need to drive for work. Please feel free to message me if I sound like someone you may like to live with. Looking forward to chatting :) Bec
