Hello! We are a couple looking for a new share house to move into. We’ve simply been in our current place for too long (4+ years) and it’s time for a change. Can get our current roomies to provide references !! We are very clean and tidy, and in addition to always cleaning up after ourselves, we also make sure to contribute to cleaning in shared spaces. Arabella: I’m a 24yo full time worker. I love to socialise and have fun with friends, but also enjoy a bit of down time listening to music, going out for a drink, watching TV, picking out cute outfits etc. Braydon : absurdist humour, LOTR nerd, excellent steak chef, and video game player. Full time uni student (studying to be a dietician) and casual employment at Petbarn so very busy. Bronson (dog): most well behaved dog ever. Has never peed inside. Doesn’t bark. Can show you his tricks. Looking to move house in early July. Looking for something long term (at least 6 months plus). Looking for a share house in inner city suburbs with like-minded (fuck LNP) roommates. No preference female or male, but ideally around the same age (21-25). We’d love to be more than just people who share a house together and make small talk in the kitchen, but people you’d consider friends and want to hang out with. Ideally we are looking to share a room (the master?). A place with aircon would be nice, but we could probs survive with a portable fan. Invite us over! Let’s go for drinks sometime

Hey there! We're a young couple from the Redlands looking to move into the city for our first time flatsharing. We're both currently full-time students, with Ben in his second year studying Music Composition & History at UQ and Holly in her third year studying Human Resources at Griffith. At the moment we're supported by a healthy mix of Centrelink student payments and part-time work, which we intend to keep up after moving - Holly's developing her HR skillset and Ben has lots of hospitality experience, so he can find jobs fairly easily. A little about ourselves: we're both nerds who like to get absorbed in our hobbies, so expect living with us to involve quiet nights spent playing games or reading (no raucous parties or strange visitors), with plenty of opportunity to chat about shared interests. We're mostly reserved, but by no means unsociable or distant. We'd love to make friends and we'll eagerly join in on collaborative chores or organised events. Holly will get along great with anyone who appreciates metal music, fashion, or art, while Ben will happily chat about tabletop games, classical music, or history, and we both love gaming and cats. We're also both neurodiverse and LGBT, so acceptance of quirks is a must. Though I mentioned it's our first time flatsharing, it's not our first time living independently. We know how to take care of a household and how to contribute to it effectively, so no need to worry about that. We'd of course expect similar from anyone else. We'd like to find somewhere close to both the CBD and universities so suburbs like West End or Woolloongabba are preferable, but we're willing to accept anywhere as far out as Annerley or Newstead, to give you an idea. We're looking to move in sometime in July 2025, but we're flexible as to the date. To finish off, we'll mention a very important point - we have a cat! She's a medium-sized calico named Celeste, and she's a well-behaved little angel at only 18 months old. Perfectly litter-trained, no attitude problems, and happy to give snuggles to anyone she's warmed up to. Goes without saying that bringing her with us is non-negotiable, so your household has to be okay with that, but it's understandable if not. That's about it, so thanks for reading and we hope to hear from you!
