    $450/week29 year old man

Hi there! My name is Varun, and I recently completed my Master’s degree at UNSW. I’m currently based out of Sydney and would be relocating to Brisbane for a full-time role by the end of August. I am currently looking for a bigger room in a shared flat to support my WFH requirements on certain days, while being flexible on the rent. Work location is in Toowong so I would my preference is towards Taringa, Indooroopilly, Auchenflower, St Lucia Paddington and Toowong itself. As a flatmate, I’d describe myself as clean, considerate, and respectful of others' cultures and personal space. I’ve been living in Sydney for over 2.5 years now, so I’m quite familiar with shared accommodations and the responsibilities that come with them, including rent payments and general upkeep. On a personal note, I’m a vegan but completely understanding of others’ food preferences—I’ve happily shared spaces with people who enjoy non-veg food. I also play the guitar (don’t worry, I keep the volume low to avoid disturbing anyone!) and balance my other hobbies with work. I’d love to live with friendly, respectful people who value a peaceful and cooperative living environment. Feel free to reach out if you think we’d be a good fit. My preferred date of movement is towards the end of August (last week), and would really appreciate your help here. I am comfortable moving in with other working professionals as well as students (As I was one very recently).

    $375/week25 year old woman

Hihi! I'm a 25 y/o full-time student studying mental health. I've lived in sharehouses before and know how important it is to keep things clean, respectful, and chill. I really value open communication and just making sure everyone feels comfortable in the space we’re sharing. I’ve got two indoor cats who mean the world to me. Eli (domestic short hair) is a male white/ginger tabby three-legged goofball (I call him threEli sometimes) with a curly tail. He’s super anxious but very funny once he warms up (he’ll act annoyed if he comes to you and you dare to touch him, classic cat). He mostly sticks to me unless he decides someone else is worthy of his trust. Juno (domestic medium hair) is my fluffy little cuddle bug, she’s a smokey tabby & more chill. She’ll absolutely sit on your lap if you're still for long enough, especially in winter. They’ve both lived in sharehouses before and adjust with a little time. I am fully capable and responsible for their care and do not expect any help in that regard, just as long as you treat them with kindness! As for me, I’d say I’m pretty easygoing. I love a good chat and a laugh, but I also totally respect people needing their space as I am one who values her alone time and respects others boundaries. I’m out studying on campus 8am–5pm Tuesday to Thursday, then either still studying or working on Fridays and some weekends + nights. I am accepting of ALL people, no matter who you are. As long as everyone does their part to turn/keep our house into a functional home and contributes to the basics of maintaining the cleanliness, while also feeling comfortable and free to add your own little trinkets and touches to the space, I think we will get along great 🖤 At the end of the day, I just want a home that feels respectful, relaxed, clean, inclusive, and where everyone can be themselves. 😸🎀😸
