Hey, looking to move into Canberra from outside yass, loved all over Australia for work and have travelled overseas. Clean up after myself and enjoy cooking, sometimes haha. Like having a few beers on a fri or Saturday afternoon watching sports or even head of for a few cheeky ones. Currently in an carpentry Apprentiship and loving it. Grew up on a farm outside yass. Easy going and love a laugh. If there is anything else don't hesitate to ask. Cheers
My Partner and I are looking for a place to stay while we work full-time in Canberra. We are both 18 and have a friendly pet rabbit named Gerald who lives outside in his hutch. Preferably we are looking for a 6 month lease in Gungahlin, Bruce or Belconnen.
The house is just in front of bus stop (58) where it can take you to city and also Gungahlin Town Centre (coles, big w, woolies). It is a great location since Gungahlin is growing and having new development projects. The rent is cheap as well. We have new leather couch and large samsung tv. The room that would be available on July 31, 2017comes with a bed and side table.
I'm clean and easy-going. Sporty person. Looking for friendly and social flatmates. Happy living with pets and I work between 8am-8pm most days. Keen for casual game-nights and drinks after work. Feel free to message me if you want to catch-up and discuss anything else.
I want to rewrite this better.. but for now: I currently work in the offensive side of IT security, previously been in the startup/entrepreneur space, and am a polyglot developer by trade. I try to balance my tech side with getting out there and enjoying the finer sides of life, be that camping at a doof with friends, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, trampolining, bouldering, etc. I have such a wide array of interests it's hard to list in a little box here. Open minded and pretty easy going with most things, evenings could equally be spent binging an interesting series as they could be philosophical discussions or hacking on some new project idea. Really looking for a perfect fit kind of housemate, and would sooner continue renting as just 2 than add someone who doesn't fit "for the sake of it". Relatively clean, but not going to get anal about a speck of dust here and there so long as it's not impacting on health/life (and we opt for getting a cleaner in monthly to ensure it doesn't become an issue, as it tends to end up in so many share houses). I follow a paleo'ish/bulletproof lifestyle, pretty but focus on health/wellness/performance, so someone that fits those ideals would be awesome. Interested in finding cool people on a similar wavelength of personal growth, development, fun and freedom; and realising that maybe the right fit is going to be further outside of our current circles. Jason's a teacher. Will probably get him to write some stuff for here later. If any of this piques your interest, reach out and let's chat, see if there is a match :)
* Within an easy walk of the Market Place and public transport * 189m2 of living space * Open plan living with separate lounge * Beautiful roman blinds * Superb kitchen * Segregated master bedroom * Ducted gas heating but no cooling * Ducted vacuum * Auto door and internal access to double garage * Easy care gardens * Lovely deck area
Cody and I are just a couple of queers being peers who enjoy living together and are in the market for a different place. We like to play games (Board, Card, Video and Dice!) and read quietly by ourselves. We're firm believers in Taco Tuesday (Or Fajita Friday depending on the week) and don't mind the odd house beer/cider. We're both easy going and low maintenance flat mates, suitable for any environment. Cody loves doing dishes and I clean a mean toilet. Any questions?
I am 24 and work and study part-time. I am clean, quiet and considerate. I love cooking and having the occasional dinner party, but I also really enjoy quiet nights in. I am looking to set up a place with a like-minded person.
We've been living here for a year and love the location and the neighbourhood. It's a townhouse across the road from Gungahlin shops, a short walk from the pool, the gym and the bus to Civic or Belconnen. We're a stroll from Yerrabi Pond and walk / run around it all the time. The main living area is spacious, full of light and stays cool in summer and warm in winter. The kitchen is easy to use and we've got enough space and bathrooms to have large groups of visitors over from time to time. We've got a small garden that we keep tidy (but there's definitely room to make it a proper garden) and two balconies off the shared living area. We've got NBN, Netflix, Playstation and plenty of pantry space, and we're always happy to talk about getting new things for the house. The room is upstairs at the back of the house, and has built-in robes and an ensuite. There's also a bath in the shared bathroom. There's also a study nook upstairs with a beautiful view to the north that we share.
My husband and I are looking for short term accomadation, preferabley fully furnished but not essential until our new home is ready in October/November We have a small 3 year old cavoodle. She is non shedding and well behaved inside dog. We are non smokers, quiet and both work full time.
I'm a full time student at The University of Canberra studying a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations/Bachelor of Laws. I am social and outgoing, but not over the top. I love to cook, enjoy a bit of wine and cheese, and a good chat. I like to think of myself as a fun person, but not a party animal by any means.
Hi, I've just moved to Canberra for work and am looking for somewhere to share. I'm tidy, sociable and very understanding of personal space. Please send me a message if you'd like to know more!
G'day there. Easy going Aussie guy with an awesome half sized kelpie (2 yr old) billy. He grew up and lived me in a pub that I was running recently so awesome around homes and people. I'm a rugby nut, Australias first openly gay 1st grade premiership coach . Moving from perth over to ACT to be back close to family and friends and to give the Canberra lifestyle a go. Will be working in hospitality and involved in rugby so won't be around much! Usually up most mornings to take Billy for a run and try to get out and about at some other time during the day so he (and I) get plenty of exercise. Love going for a few beers/dinner or just chilling at home over a bottle of red (don't mind cooking the odd meal for my roomies if we are all home and keen to catch up every now and then as well).
I moved to Canberra in Jan 2016 after traveling around Australia. Originally from England, I was granted my permanent residency here last May. I'm 27 and I love to socialise, but also enjoy my quiet nights in overdosing on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back but I do like living in a clean house - I work with children so the last thing I want to do when I get home is clean up after others (and trust me, after living in a house share with 5 people, I found out what that was like...) I'm looking for somewhere that's a home, not just a house. I would like to live with one or two other people who are professional, clean and respectful others. Oh! I also have my own fridge/freezer if that gains bonus points.
I have lived on my own before, I am a very clean person with a great personality and I love to socialise but also enjoy my own space. I work with children on a full time basis and have a little black cat named pippin, I also used to be a cook so I can make wicked dinners!
Hello! My name is Herald. I'm in my mid-twenties, working part-time and studying, and am currently looking for a sharehouse that is pet friendly. I am really easy going and friendly. I beleive in maintaining a friendly peaceful clean and respectful house environment. I love a chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. I have a 2yr old cat that is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors and once he's used to u, will come to u for pats. My budget is $170 with utilities or $150-160 without. If you are looking for a housemate and dont mind my cat, please contact me on my phone or message me on here! Sincerely, Herald
