Hey :) I use to live in Canberra and took a years leave from my job where I moved up to the Gold Coast. Whilst I love the Gold Coast I have decided that it's time to come home back to my job. I have 2 chihuahuas who are well trained. I'm easy going and tend to keep to myself. I'm a shift worker so you will hardly see me! I'm looking anywhere in Canberra. Any questions just ask :)
I'm a 25 year old professional working full time in the public service. I have a passion for health and fitness and train generally 5 times a week after work usually around 6pm to 8pm. I work normal hours and respect personal space and noise limits. I have been taught from a young age how to be clean and tidy from a Mother who was a domestic house cleaner lol. That being said, I am also very social and friendly, have no issues going for a beer with flatmates, cooking dinners for the house, kicking back and having a games night of monopoly (although that could cause a slight in the household :P). My hobbies are: Anything sports related, regular gym, PC gaming, tattoos (I'm quite heavily tattooed so if that intimidates you I might not be a great candidate to share with), fishing, camping, music and good movies :)
Young professional moving to Canberra to work on the Light Rail. Looking for house mates that want a clean, quiet place during the week. Looking for friendly people who dont mind a beer and a chat but also respect each others privacy. Will be down the snow most weekends when possible
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
The house is fully furnished with a lovely bunch of fellas living here. Super quiet house, there is mostly nobody home as we all work odd hours. 2 business owners living here :) Its close to the shops - 1 min walk, and close to the bus interchange, again a 1 min walk.
I have a couple of rooms for rent in a LARGE apartment in gungahlin. Its close to the shops - 1 min walk, and close to the bus interchange, again a 1 min walk. 2 exceptional males live here along with an incredibly talented young female - we are all very quiet professionals looking for more of the same. Male or female, easy going, CLEAN. Ideal for students - Pricing for $160.00 p/w PLUS bills. Also provided is NBN internet, fully furnished house and weekly professional cleaner.
I am a 31yo male Engineer on the Canberra Light Rail. I try to stay fit and exercise (or just not get too fat) , but I do enjoy eating like a king on the weekends. a bit about me, I enjoy going to the gym, salsa dancing, my beloved Nissan weekend car, and hopefully get into some pilates for my ridiculously poor flexibility! On the weekends i dont mind a few frothies and a good burger with some banter. i enjoy going out and having a laugh , and i equally dont mind weekends chilling at home on the couch with a movie. As for house arrangements - I am very easy going and tidy, clean up after myself and easy to get along with. Im flexible with whoever I live with. Its not my first time doing the house share, so I know that everyone is different and theres always a solution so that everyone is happy. Wouldn't mind someone whos down for a few drinks or sharing a meal and some banter on the weekends! Cheers! Claudio
Hey there, I'm looking for a housemate to share with me in a great apartment on Hibberson street in Gungahlin. The place will be fully furnished, so you'll just need to bring yourself and your bed. The room includes built in robes, and the house comes with new carpets, reverse cycle air conditioning, dish washer, washing machine and dryer. The apartment is located right in the Gungahlin Town Centre, so all life's necessities (coffee & Kmart) are right at your door! Looking for a relaxed (but tidy) person to share with, who'll enjoy a beer/wine (or cordial if that's your poison) at the end of the day. All bills will be split equally between the two of us, and rent is pid fortnightly. Bond is 4 weeks rent. No carspot, but street parking available.
Hola :) My name is Taya and I'm a 29 year old public servant. I'm originally from Newcastle and moved down to Canberra a couple of years ago for work. Although I miss the beach a lot, I am slowly getting used to Canberra. I have been renting with a friend since moving down here, however, it's time to move on and expand my social circle. I work shift work at the moment but hopefully not forever. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to cafes, walking around the lake and of course, the odd wine or two.
Hey :) I will be renting an appartment in the city central or gungahlin marketplace soon and will be looking for 1 to 2 people to teamup with. Im looking for someone easy to get along with that can clean up after themselves within the age of 18-30
Hi everyone! Herald here, I'm in my mid-twenties, working part-time and studying, and I am currently looking for a share-house around Gungahlin area that is pet friendly as I am having to leave the current house that I have lived in for 3 years with many other university students and professionals throughout those years. I am really easy going and friendly and I believe in maintaining a friendly, peaceful, clean and respectful house environment. I love to chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. Love listening to Metal (don't worry I use my headsets 😂) and all the geeky/pop culture stuff like computer hardwares, marvel/DC universe, movies and TV shows. I have a 2yr old cat (Pixel), who is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors (mostly in my bedroom). My budget is $180 per week with utilities and internet. If you are looking for a housemate and don't mind my cat, please message me :)
I am a young working professional who just moved to Canberra from Sydney, due to some unforeseen circumstances I am unable to keep renting my house and am looking for some medium term accommodation. I am very clean and quiet, If I'm not working I spend most of my time in my room reading. I am a baker so it would be great to stay with someone who wouldn't mind me hijacking the kitchen every now and again - with some tasty profits of course :)
I am a friendly student currently studying my masters in education online; I work part-time and am reliable with paying bills. I am quiet and considerate of others and am also very clean. I am approachable, easy going and respect others space but am always up for a chat or movie night. I do have a cat who will also be coming to live with me.
Hi I'm Matt, I'm moving to Canberra to start a job and I'm looking for at least a temporary place to get me started. I'm currently living in Sydney and I'm a recent graduate of computer science. I enjoy hiking, TV shows like Futurama, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Narcos, etc, food and video games every now and then. So if you've got a room and you think I'd be a good fit let me know!
Landlord and realestate is pretty good here and never had any dramas. Owner is really understanding and used to live in the place before renting it out so it is well kept and is quite beautiful. The house is really big and soundproof. The neighbours are courteous and plenty of parking out on the street as well as spacious 2 car garage. Backyard is a nice place to have summer BBQ and blow up pools with friends over. Property is kept well and loved as if it our own. Plenty of room for entertaining and bringing in furniture. Apartment is somewhat furnished. Very close to public transport and the tram once that is finalised. 20mins drive to the city, more during peak hour. Close to bustling and ever growing gungahlin shops. Easy access to the rest of Canberra from gungahlin.
I am currently searching for a short term private room whilst waiting for the property I purchased to be built. The move in date for my property is expected to be the end of November, however some flexibility around the date would be preferred, but I would of course give adequate notice of the move date! I don't mind if the room is furnished or not and the majority of my belongings will be placed in storage for this period. I've lived in share houses over the last 6 years so consider myself 'house trained' in contributing to all bills, cleaning rosters and being down for a chat 😁 About me: I work full-time in a science role and have after-work activities most evenings. When I come home I like to cook and then just relax (Netflix!). Im into health and fitness and am quiet in that I don't drink very often/ party 😊
