*NO LONGER LOOKING FOR A PLACE * Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a psychology graduate working full-time in the public service. I've been living in a 4-person sharehouse in Braddon for the last 1.5 years, with great housemates. Our lease expires on December 4th though, so I'm looking for a new place to move to around then. WHAT LOCATION I'M LOOKING FOR: I'm looking for a place within walking distance to the Canberra Centre, or somewhere close to a bus stop. THE HOUSE/ROOM I'M LOOKING FOR: The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed, large desk, and digital piano (not necessary though!). WHEN AND HOW LONG I'M LOOKING TO MOVE: My current lease expires on December 15th 2017, so I would be looking to move between December 1-13th 2017. I'm interested in a 12 month lease, but am happy to negotiate :) WHAT I CAN BRING: I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, large chest freezer, and some things for the kitchen. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space. If you'd like to chat or meet up over coffee, let me know. I'm also happy to provide references.

Hi there, My names Gabrielle and I am looking for a place to move into in January 2018. I am a full time medical student at ANU, and will spend most of my time studying. I have a small dog who is house trained. I am very quiet, clean and respectful and I have been living in share houses for the last 6 years.
Hey there! I'm 19 years old, working practically full time and hoping to move out of home! I'm super friendly and easy going, I always clean up after myself and I'm extremely independent and respectful. I'd love to find some like-minded people to have an enjoyable house with!
Hi everyone! Herald here (aka Frankie), working part-time and studying, and I am currently looking for a share-house around Gungahlin area that is pet friendly as I am having to leave the current house (due to major renovation) that I have lived in for 3 years with many other university students and professionals throughout those years. I am really easy going and friendly and I believe in maintaining a peaceful, clean and respectful house environment. I love to chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. Love listening to Metal (don't worry I use my headsets :) ) and all the geeky/pop culture stuff like computer hardware, Marvel/DC universe, Movies, TV shows and Video games (PC). I have a 2 year old cat (Pixel), who is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors (mostly in my bedroom). My budget is $180 - $200 per week with utilities and internet. If you are looking for a housemate and don't mind my cat, please message me :)
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working fulltime. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 1 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too, shes house trained and very loving. I spend most of my free time watching a movie, reading a book, or out riding my dirtbike.
Hi! I'm Liam, a psychology and marketing student at the ANU going into my third year. I'm quite an active person, playing cricket, futsal and going to the gym, as well as enjoying trips along the coast to find the best beaches and heading up the mountains to find the snow. When I'm home, I enjoy watching film, reading, and playing video games. As a vegan (and not the type of person who condescends anyone who is not), I tend to just cook for myself, but if anything I make seems appealing I also like to cook with/for others! I'm an especially clean and responsible person, enjoy conversations about anything under the sun and would make a great addition to your household! I have a queen bed and some other furniture in storage so would ideally be looking for an unfurnished bedroom space. I'm looking to move into a place soon as I've picked up a lot of work over the summer, but am open to checking out new places for a longer term stay to find the perfect fit. Cheers, Liam
This amazing 4 bedroom 3 story townhouse is a fantastic place to live, as it has multiple balconies and living areas. I have 2 rooms available on the 3rd floor which has a shared lounge/sitting room and 2 balconies $170 p/w each room. The is 1 room available on the 2nd floor with its own lounge/ sitting room and smaller balcony this is $180 p/w. There is 1 space left in the double garage for an additional $10 p/w not suitable for a large car. However there is street parking available. The main bathroom is on the 2nd floor and will be shared between 3 people. There is an extra toilet on the ground floor near the kitchen and laundry. There will be 4 people sharing in total as I am in the master bedroom with ensuite. I have most furniture throughout the house but more is welcome and will be required for the additional common/lounge areas. The rent cost includes a cleaner once a fortnight to clean all common areas and bathrooms. Only additional costs will be utilities divided equally. You will be required to fill out an application form for the real estate. Rooms will be available in January and I would prefer someone wanting to stay for a year.
This property is within walking distance to everything. Bus interchange, swimming pools, food, gym, supermarkets.... the list is endless! You will get the main room upstairs with a built in wardrobe and fresh new carpet that was just recently installed.
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Landlord and realestate is pretty good here and never had any dramas. Owner is really understanding and used to live in the place before renting it out so it is well kept and is quite beautiful. The house is really big and soundproof. The neighbours are courteous and plenty of parking out on the street as well as spacious 2 car garage. Backyard is a nice place to have summer BBQ and blow up pools with friends over. Property is kept well and loved as if it our own. Plenty of room for entertaining and bringing in furniture. Apartment is somewhat furnished. Very close to public transport and the tram once that is finalised. 20mins drive to the city, more during peak hour. Close to bustling and ever growing gungahlin shops. Easy access to the rest of Canberra from gungahlin.

Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
I’m a clean and friendly person. I love to socialise, have a chat and a glass of wine. I also like my privacy and respect other people’s privacy. I generally study, work and hang out with friends. I like hanging out, watching movies, cooking and relaxing. I’m verg easy to get a long with and am very respectable.
Modern five bedroom two story townhouse just one street away from Yerrabi Pond and easy walking distance to Gungahlin Marketplace. The rooms are currently furnished with just a single bed in each room, I’m willing to arrange a desk and chair also. Likewise, your welcome to bring your own bedroom furnishings etc if you would prefer. The rooms will be $200 per week inclusive of all utilities (Elec, gas, water) and will have free access to unlimited NBN wi-fi. No bond to pay but I do require the last four weeks rent to be paid upfront. When you decide to leave you will need to give four weeks’ notice and in return you will receive the last four weeks rent free. Preference will be given to people who are either working or studying in Canberra on a short-term placement etc. Also anyone who’s finding it difficult to find a property or room in Canberra and just needs sometime until they can find something more suitable long term is also more than welcome to come and inspect a room. Welcome to leave anytime (ie when you have been accepted for your own lease, which can take three or four weeks sometimes) with four weeks’ notice, you won’t be tied into any long lease or commitment to stay long term if your circumstances change. As said before the house is modern and is very convenient to the constantly evolving Gungahlin Marketplace which has regular busses into Belconnen and Civic. Great location for a student or contractor. Thanks for reading & Sorry, no pets.
A Melbournian looking to move up to Canberra to start full-time work in the public service. I'm friendly, reliable, tidy, considerate, easy-going, and a proud supporter of the Oxford comma (sometimes). I'm a nerd at heart who loves his gaming, movies and music. I love playing pick-up basketball, so if you're a follower of the NBA, we'll be sure to get along (unless you're a Celtics fan, fair warning). I'm always good for a chat over some beverages but can also appreciate a quiet night of Netflix and board games. I'm happy to fit into a house looking for a new roommate or team up with others also looking for a place to settle in Canberra. Hopefully looking to move and get settled around mid-December. I'll be working in Bruce so anywhere around there or in north Canberra would be preferred :)
Future undergrad student at ANU. Moving from Ballarat, Victoria. Easygoing and relatively tidy. Keen soccer player. I live for good conversation. Respectful of other people. Traveling through Africa in January, making the move to Canberra in early February.
