Hi guys my names Will I'm 24 from the GoldCoast looking for a room to rent early in the new year. I'm new to the area down here working on the RAAF base, when I'm not working I'm at the gym or exploring somewhere new. Always up for a good time and a laugh ✌🏽️
I love sharing with others and having a laugh. I am an kind, organic loving, community spirit with a somewhat sensible practical side and a love of bikes and bike touring, the outdoors, camping, vegan paleo and wheat free cooking, although I am not vegan. I am planning on studying at Newcastle next year and I am a member of NUSEC and other cool stuff at uni. I am a sydney/ cambridge girl so I am bit conservative in some ways and I can be a bit reclusive at times, as I enjoy reading a great deal. I like quiet nights and treat my home as a sanctuary when I am not away travelling. I like an occassional glass of wine with dinner and an occassional party but I am not a party animal and I am non smoker. I love animals and also enjoy the company of children too. I am responsible fun loving adult very eco conscious and health orientated. I am a member owner of the Beanstalk Organic Food Coop on Church street and an pro-active newcastle community member and a social media junki. I manage a local online social media green guide so I know all there is to know about local green iniatitives and food. I am on the organising committee for next years Students of Sustainability which was won by a dance off this year by the Melbourne University team on behalf of the Newcastle University crew enabling sustainability and supporting local indigenous leaders and culture. I am a bit of geek and I love klezmer!
Hey there! I am hoping to find a nice place with wonderful housemate(s). I am 24, studying full-time and working part-time. I consider myself to have quite a healthy social life, with a large mix of friends. However I do enjoy my down time and a good night in. I have an array of interests, I love live music, theatre, Zumba, travelling, food, adventuring and trying new things. I am a clean and considerate person. I would love to find some easy going housemates who don't shy away from a bit of elbow grease, who are up for a delicious chat and laugh, the occasional slice of cheese, but also respect when I need to just curl in a ball and daydream. If you think I may be 'the one' or you want to know more, just message me :) Much love, Georgie
I'm a friendly, single, non-smoker who is looking to find a warm and inviting home in Newcastle. I currently live in Sydney, but I've just been offered a 9 month contract at a school in the Hunter Valley and so am needing to relocate. I enjoy chilling out, drinking wine and watching netflix, playing video games, and chatting. But I'm also more than happy to go out and be social. I have no friends currently in Newcastle so I'm keen to meet new people. My workload will probably be pretty intense so I'd like to find housemates that understand that I will occasionally need some quiet. Keen to find a friendly new house to start my new life in Newcastle in!
Hi all! I am moving to Newcastle and I'm looking for a pet-friendly sharehouse available from the 26th December. I'm a 25 year old professional working full-time. I am tidy and like to keep a clean house. I am active and enjoy netball, going to the gym and lazing at the beach. Im a fun, laid back person who will be keen for a beer. I have a Moodle and a Dalmatian puppy :) They are well behaved and great with other dogs and cats. I'm a bit of a crazy dog lady - I'll be taking them to the dog beach every afternoon I imagine. I will need a pet friendly place with high-ish, secure fences. Im looking for a furnished house but I can bring my own bedroom furniture. I also have other bits and pieces of furniture if required. I would be happy to pay a bit extra for an ensuite, but if not that's fine. Also open to starting up a new sharehouse - I have more furniture at home I can bring. I would prefer if bills were included in the rent to save mucking around, but either way is fine. Unlimited wifi is a bonus. I would like to sign a lease/agreement to stay for 3 or 6 months. Please contact me if you will have a suitable room available after Christmas. Cheers, Amie :)
Hi, I am a teacher looking to team up with another 30-40 yr old female in a new house. I don't really have a preferred location in mind, so I am open to options. It's more about 'who' rather than 'where' at this stage. I am an energetic person who enjoys yoga, meditation, reading and spending time with like minded people. Don't go out much anymore, I'd much rather dinner, a few quiet drinks and good conversation. I have some furniture, but I have recently given a heap away so I travel light! I am a clean and tidy person, who enjoys cooking for more people than just myself. I have the world's friendliest cat, who will demand little more than cuddles and scratches. I can move at any time, so if you're interested in teaming up, send a message!
3 really easy going, accepting of all Newcastle girls who all work 40+ hours a week each, working in Aged Care, Medical Reception and Hospitality. Looking to move in mid January
Looking for a room in a share house. I prefer suburbs near town/ the beach. Ideally would like to find somewhere asap! I moved up here at the start of the year from Melbourne so I am excited to meet some new people. Ive been living in share houses for the last 13 years. So I’m very tidy, respectful and all that stuff. Pay bills on time, and like to live with people who are the same… I like sharing with people who are relaxed, laid-back, friendly and like a laugh. I Enjoy a chat and cuppa with housemates whenever but also I am pretty busy and like to do my own thing. When I’m not at work I enjoy checking out new bars/ cafes, gym/ walks, beach, reading, watching films and drinking wine :)
Hi Future Flatmates! I've just moved back to Newcastle to study my masters after living in South Korea working as a Teacher for the past 3 years. I'm a very organised individual, I keep to myself but I'm also an extroverted person, so I'm excited to meet new people. I want somewhere where I can feel comfortable and can also retreat to after a day of studying. I'm a non-smoker and I don't have any pets (but open to houses that do have them!). I love comedy, listening to podcasts, drinking coffee and crocheting.
Hiya, I'm Andrew, I'm 25. I've lived in Newcastle my entire life primarily around New Lambton & Dudley with abit of travelling this year. I'm seeking a place close to the CBD and/or one of the many beaches around town. I currently work 4 days a week in Architecture whilst studying my masters, I love being near the ocean and being as active as possible, surfing/biking/skating/yoga, whatever! I do partake in enjoying a casual beer or red wine as much as the next guy too. I don't smoke also and think dogs are the best thing ever. I've lived previously in a flat with one other person, and consider myself a very relaxed and easygoing person that can respect others space & daily routines. I'm very clean, particularly in the kitchen. Ideally, I'm seeking a place that has good off street parking, storage for a mountain bike and within 25 minutes ride into the CBD. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be your guy :) Andrew
Bubbly personality who enjoys sock loading but also some alone time. I work as a business analysts and travel often so won't always be around. Active social life and my jewellery business keep me out and busy most weekends. Looking for a peaceful living environment where I can rest and relax from the business of life. Share with one flat mate, room with large built ins and extra storage space. I have quite a bit of things.
ABOUT ME: Names Kelepi, currently living with my mother. Everyone can understand the no privacy act you did not sign up for when living at home. Needing to get out so looking to relocate more closer to town, as Maitland is a bit of mission for me. Yes I cook, clean, and whatever else a human should be doing when living on this earth. Cheers
I am university student who is also looking for work in Newcastle. When I love people, I just want to talk to them but sometimes I just don't like people and I just want to stay in and play computer games.
Hi there, I and my gf are looking for a room near Beaumon street. I am a full time hospo worker, my gf was a flight attendant and is looking for a new job. We are friendly, considerate, quiet, and respectful. Ideally, we are looking for a room that is: Close to Beaumont street, shops, gym, public transport. Has Aircon or ducted AC, she loves being air cooled, happy wife happy life :) Ensuit if possible however not priority. Furnished. If you have a room, please text, call or email me. Thank you, Steve
I'm an easy going person looking for a relaxed and social atmosphere. I work full time and play oztag and waterpolo so I won't be in your hair all the time. I keep communal areas clean and respect housemates boundaries. I enjoy getting outdoors and having a drink on the weekend.
I've recently graduated from my Bachelor of Psychology and I've just accepted a spot in a Masters degree. I have a student allowance and also work casually so I have a reliable income. I'm respectful, tidy, hard working and responsible but also like to have fun sometimes! Whether that's a good Netflix binge or a few (or a few too many) drinks on occasion. I'm looking for a 6 month lease in a house with max 2 other people. I need either a decent sized unfurnished room so to accommodate my queen bed and desk etc, or a room furnished with a double or queen bed. Would prefer built in wardrobes and a ceiling fan. I'm interested in Newcastle and surrounds. Send me a message if I sound like someone you'd want to fill your spare room! :)
Quiet street, close to bus stop (400m), just off Beaumont st, unlimited nbn inc, currently two full time workers, one male one female, easy to get along with and easy to make it your house not just a room, never crowded as I work most evening shifts, rarely all home at once,
24 year old hospitality worker/journalism student actively seeking somewhere to live, preferably close to town. (Current lease ends Jan 7th, so earliest I could move in would be Dec 22nd). I am clean, friendly and respectful in terms of noise and privacy. I'm not fussed on whether the property is currently furnished or unfurnished. I do not have my own furniture at the moment, but I will have time to sort that out at a later date! Please send me a message if you would like to know anything more about myself :-)
So I'm currently looking for a place in newcastle, im studying and currently looking for a part time job! I'm reliable, clean and tidy and also am also looking for a place thats a fun and comfortable environment to live in, if you'd like to know any more please to hesitate to ask (:
I've just returned home to Newcastle from Canberra. I'm looking for a place close to the coast so I can attempt to surf again. I'm working part-time and volunteer with a few organisations as well. I am super passionate about the humanities and the environment particularly refugees and working toward a plastic free society. So, I am always fairly occupied with these interests :) I love a good conversation, coffee, the ocean, animals, camping, yoga, friends (and making new ones) and family! It would be a bonus if there were a garden and a dog ;)
I recently moved to the Newcastle area for my job. Currently in Stockton but I need something for an initial 3 months, possibly longer depending on work. I don't know many people here yet so I think living with others around my age would be interesting... - Sociable and easy going but like my own space sometimes. - Party days are over but still enjoy a few drinks now and then. - Terrible cook but happy to help out with chopping and taste testing. - Try to be active, love the outdoors. - Very clean and tidy. - Will be away for work 1 week of the month.
Easy going healthcare professional, respectful of others. Non-smoker. Likes yoga and bushwalking. Am living in Brisbane at the moment and need to move down for work at a new clinic end of year. Would ideally like a place where I could have an old sausage dog, but could always arrange for family to look after him for 6 months or so
I'm a 24 year old Registered Nurse working full time I love animals, exercise, travelling when I can save my pennies, spending time with friends and family, the beach, and going out for breakfast most days. I'm tidy and like my space but also love socialising with housemates over a cup of tea and/or cheese platter
So I'm 2nd year student at UoN and I also work 2 jobs. I'm pretty chilled, easy to get on with and happy to socialise (drinks optional) but will sometimes keep to myself. Always down to meet new people (and said people's pets if they own them aha). Not a clean freak but I do my part to make sure things a neat and reasonably tidy. I respect others space and privacy and would ask the same in return. Hoping to find some cool housemates and aim to move in December after I get back from Melbourne (11th). (Puppies not included sadly)
The house is pretty big (4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms) with bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. It has a light open feel. The available room is large, with built in wardrobe and ceiling fan. Great location, close to park, public transport (bus and train) and Beaumont Street.
Hi everyone! I have 2 rooms available in Hamilton. The house is located a short walk from Beaumont st, Hamilton station, cafes, pubs etc. The rooms are both a decent size that can easily fit a queen bed. One room has a small sized wardrobe and room for a chest of drawers. The other room has a built in wardrobe. I'm 27yo, work full time and enjoy quiet nights through the week but also like to be social and have a few drinks on the weekend. Cleaning is shared and done on a regular basis. I have a dog (dachshund) so it would be better if you liked animals :-) He spends time both inside and outside of the house but is very clean! He's very loveable and enjoys cuddles. The yard isn't big enough to take on any other animals, sorry! Rent is $190/week. Wifi is an extra $20/month and all other bills are split. Feel free to msg me with any questions along with a little bit about yourself. Kayla :-)
Hello! I am moving to Newcastle from New Zealand at the end of January to start my career as an Optometrist. I'm looking for a fun, relaxed flatmate or two to share accommodation with starting in summer and potentially lasting 6 months to 1 year. My ideal location would be in the cbd, close to the beaches, cause who doesn't love waking up to those views! I am very tidy, will always clean up after myself and be respectful of your privacy. I am also very easy to get along with and love meeting new people. When I am not at work you will find me at the beach, gym, glued to a good book or out having a good time. Thanks :)
