* AVAIL 16 FEB 2019 * Beautiful Modern Clean home 5mins walk to train station, supermarket, shops, cafes and the beach! Live with friendly and considerate housemates. Hampton Street is only a hop, skip and jump and has everything you need. We live in a modern spacious home (not an apartment) with a large clean fully equipped kitchen and a low maintenance good sized courtyard for great outside meals and relaxing sessions in spring and summer. It’s a large home so we are spread out and not in each other’s way. Most of the time we have no idea who is home due to layout and size of the place! The Bedroom is Fully Furnished - refer to photos. (We can remove some of the furniture if you wish eg remove couch if you want more floor space for exercises, yoga, meditation etc.) Bedding (quilt, quilt cover, bedsheets and bath towels etc) all provided if you require them. Bathroom - You’ll be sharing a bathroom with only 1 other housemate. $300 per week for room only. $30 per week extra for; - all utilities (gas, electricity, water) - Internet (unlimited) - Basic household necessities (toilet paper, laundry powder, cleaning products, various tea/coffee etc) Therefore weekly rent is $330 PER WEEK. House Cleaning - We have rotating house cleaning roster for the shared areas however, as we are all responsible and mature adults who clean up after ourselves, the weekly clean is really quick and painless. We all like our home clean, organised and tidy and want our new housemate on the same page - so only apply if you are competent using the mop and bucket 😉 Is this a party house? No, definitely not a party house because our home is a haven for us. However we don't like people who stay in their rooms avoiding housemates either. We are in the middle somewhere. We enjoy each other’s company and a chat when we see each other but we all want and need alone time. We try to have regular catch up once during week (maybe housemate dinner or at least share meal times together, Netflix night, etc) but we all have our own busy independent lives so we do not hang out together 24/7. We believe life is about the journey and it's better (and a lot more fun!) to share that with friends and with other happy, like minded people around us. Other important info - ONLY AVAIL FROM 16 FEBRUARY 2019 - please don’t message asking for earlier availability as that is not possible... * No pets sorry * Smoking permitted only outside * Bond 3 weeks rent * Rent due /payable fortnightly for fortnight ahead * 4 weeks notice required when leaving (you're also required to assist us with finding suitable replacement housemate before leaving us) * Min stay 6 months as we are into forging great friendships and connections with the people we live with
Fun and out going person. I work full time in the city during the week and the occasional weekend. I respect the privacy of others. I enjoy the odd glass of wine but also like my down time. I come with the most loveable kelpie cross who loves nothing more than a cuddle or chasing after the tennis ball.
I am in my 50s and young at heart... clean and tidy, happy to share a meal, glass of wine, have a chat.. can keep to my self and not invade your space & dont smoke ..work during the day as a carer in age care. Currently live in Chelsea.. have lived in the area for thirty years, love the beach and going for walks, reading, movies,tv,music and live bands/concerts..Looking for a room in Bayside area..
My partner and I are moving from Wagga Wagga to Melbourne in early January and are looking for a place to stay long term (12 months+). We are both non smokers, are fairly private and don't do a lot of drinking or partying. We do enjoy the occasional afternoon hangout or a few drinks with friends or roommates. We are both polite, clean and respectful to fellow housemates. We are open-minded and get along with everyone, so we are happy to live with people from all walks of life. Here is a bit about us: Hi! My name is Taya, I am 19 and soon to begin a bachelor of arts at Monash University. I love reading, cooking, writing and creating art. I'm a quiet easy going girl, I love getting to know new people, and am always up for a chat, a couple of drinks or a movie night. I love spending time with my friends, going for walks, doing yoga and trying exciting new places to eat. I'm thrilled to move to Melbourne and begin studying and I hope to find a house where we can all be friends, as well as roommates :) Hey there :) I'm Adam, I am 22 and working full time at Kmart. I'll be transferring to a Kmart in Melbourne to work whilst my girlfriend studies. I love listening to music, hanging out with my friends and staying active by walking my two beautiful dogs. Because I'm bringing them with me, the property would require an enclosed yard suitable for two medium sized dogs. My two doggies, Pickles (5 months male) and Luna (2 years female) are both desexed. They are full of love and energy but never bark, are well behaved and are very friendly with people and other animals, especially other dogs. Meaning if you already have a dog, that would be perfect! We both appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you! :)
Hi I'm Marie Claire. I'm an easy going young woman from Rwanda. I am looking for a safe, quiet living environment in Bayside Melbourne to share with other like minded, open hearted flatmates.
PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne and part-time Youth Mental Health researcher. Lives life to the full and believes in a good work-life balance. Love exercising, the outdoors and watersports. Very social so it is important for me to live somewhere inclusive with a good family type vibe, where everyone feels comfortable hanging out in communal areas together (apart from when some time alone is needed of course). Looking to rent from January onwards - I will be moving from Ireland so will not be able to view before then.
I love being on the water and want to live closer to the beach. Currently I am walking full time but will be heading back to full time study next year. I am getting into kite boarding for the summer. I feel like i am pretty easy going person.
I'm fairly easy going, love a good games night. I love cooking and definitely enjoy cooking for people. I'm a big movie buff and a bigger advocate of a movie night.
I am a full-time employee working in food industry as a Quality Assurance Officer. I am an easy-going person, an animal lover and love socializing, watching movies, listening music, cooking, and travelling, etc. I am looking for a room for myself in a shared house or apartment.
I work six days a week and train at the gym seven days a week. With the little time I'm home I'll either be cooking, cleaning or sleeping and am very quiet and tidy but don't mind socialising from time to time. Looking for a few people that don't party or drink all the time and if they do they don't bring the party home. I'm a very chill and drama free person. Looking for like minded individuals that either work or study full time
Hi, I am looking for someone to team up with me on an apartment around the end of December or beginning of Jan. I am currently searching along the Sandringham line, as I work in the city so need to be able to commute fairly easy. My budget is around $350 - $400 per week and would be looking for a 2 bed (potentially 3 so we can have a spare guest bedroom), 2 bathroom place, unfurnished or semi furnished as I have some house furniture that I will be bringing, sofa, coffee table, kitchen utensils etc. I've always lived with friends and really enjoyed it but recently have lived with someone I don't know and had a not so pleasant experience, so I'm quiet picky about the type of housemate I'm looking for now lol. I am quiet sociable, however I really like my own space so will often spend tome in my room watching tv or on my laptop if I’ve had a long day at work. I am looking for someone who is clean/tidy, who respects others space and doesn’t treat common areas like their own personal space, helps with the cleaning but also fun to be around. I want my next house to feel like a home, not just a place where I keep my stuff and sleep. I stay with my partner a few nights a week, so am not home all the time, I also work 9-5 Monday to Friday so I'm not one of those annoying housemates who is always around in your face lol. If you are interested in finding a similar house/ housemate id love to meet up with you and see if we get along. I need to move out of my current house by 29th December, so will be registering for inspections this week and next! :) I have 3 viewings this week. 3 bed in Elsternwick ($670pw), 3 bed in Brighton ($675pw) & 2 bed in Hampton ($695pw)
I am fun, but I'm busy aswell. I'm creative and I love to smile. I'm positive and expect others that I live with to be positive to! I am real, and honest. Clean Tidy, and I'll never say no to a glass of wine. I am busy with work a lot of the time, but try to have a good balance in my work life and my personal life. I feel like my major partying days are probably behind me, I still like to have the occasional blowout night here and there but I'm all about good food, wine & company. So ideally looking to share with maximum 3 people including myself. Finding the perfect housemate is hard so good luck guys ♥
I love the beach and cooking fresh organic summer foods including salads and fruit smoothies. I like to practice yoga most days and art when Melbourne's weather takes a turn to the cooler side. I work casual in the construction industry mostly week days and intend to spend weekends at the beach. I keep clean and tidy and don't drink anymore. I love inner city suburbs for the life and accessibility especially on PT or skateboard.
I'm a very friendly, happy, and outgoing 29-year old female, originally from Chile, South America and im looking for a private room. I am social and love meeting new people and making friends - but having my own space and alone time is also very important to me. I'm open-minded, clean and tidy. I study and I work full time as a dog groomer, I have a little doggo who its only 4kg, called Nina, its a girl who always goes with me everywhere she its Maltese x shihtzu, she is trained to do her needs outside the house, doesnt destroy or barks, very friendly with kids, dogs, etc, I wash her once a week for keep it clean. :) Having fun, chats over wine and nights out are definitely my idea of fun - but I also enjoy down time and relaxing a lot and am not wanting to live in a party house, im very bussy and independent but its always good have some friends around for chill in the house :) Please send me a message with some details about yourself or your flat if you feel we would get along. :)
Hello, My name is Yuri, I am from Italy and I am working in Melbourne as a mechanical engineer. I am a tranquil, clean and chatty person, I like my privacy but I am always ready to chill out and go out for a beer! I am pretty outgoing and easy going, I like music and I have been a musician for more than 15 years, so always ready to go for gigs or events. I am committed, loyal and reliable.
I am a health care professional relocating to Melbourne to work full time at a Hospital. I love spontaneous road trips, hiking trails, and the occasional wine and cheese with card games. Reading a good novel by the beach, or drawing and painting is how I like to spend my days off work. I have been living in a share house for a few years now. I have respect for everyone's space, and love catching up over a glass of wine. If you want to know anything more about me, just ask. Contact me if you are also wanting to team up to apply for a rental :)
Chill and easy going, like to keep things (mostly) tidy. Don't mind keeping to myself or socialising, love a few drinks on the weekends, not looking for a party house. Here in Melbourne to study economics at RMIT, but also working casually (25hrs) in the city during the week. Able to bring some of my own furnishings. Prefer a longer term stay (~1 year +).
