My husband and I have a double story, 4 bedroom house in Camberwell with a room available for rent. The house is only 5 mins to Hartwell train station (Alamein Line) and 5 mins walk to the 75 Tram on Camberwell Road. We have available for rent a great sized bedroom that has built-in robes with mirrored doors, a fantastic built-in desk + shelves, central heating and in-room air conditioning the bedroom also has a queen sized bed (or can be available without). The large main bathroom is also located upstairs which is not used by anyone. We have a baby who stays in our room. The house is quite large and we hardly go upstairs as our bedroom and ensuite is downstairs. We also have a cute dog who stays mainly outside.
You will feel at home ! The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a common area were you can have a Netflix night or enjoy the sunset colours from its balcony. We are surrounded by parks and a little garden populated by fruitful citrus trees. The house is perfectly located, 5 minutes walk to the 75 tram and metro station - both lines take you directly to the city, shops and cafes around and a few stops away from Camberwell Junction. The room you will be living in is warm in winter, enjoys the morning sun when the blinds are opened and is super cosy.
Oh hi there! My name is Jeremy and with my housemate Caroline, we have a cosy, fully furnished room available from the 20th of September - ideally for a long term and friendly person. Please note that the room doesn't have to be furnished if that isn't required. The room (photographed) has a comfy queen bed, a large built-in wardrobe and even a desk! We live in a really massive, 1940's house in Camberwell. We're directly across the road from a park, and we have one next door to us as well! The green belt we live on goes all the way to the Yarra bike trails - so bike riders and/or runners would fit right in. We have a renovated upstairs space which is our living room and comes with a second bathroom as well. Surround sound and a big TV make it perfect for our GoT or movie nights. We occasionally host with Airbnb up there as the space is so private. We've been splitting the profit evenly and it really helps with the rent. Downstairs, we have a large kitchen, a dining/living area, laundry and 1.5 bathrooms. All of our bedrooms are downstairs, they all have wooden floorboards and ducted heating. We're surrounded by lemon, orange and lime trees as well as a spacious garden to tinker around in if you're interested in that. Our recent batch of tomatoes have been pretty damn tasty, if I do say so myself. There's also the potential for a garage space too. We even just got three awesome and sassy chickens! Who said living in Camberwell can't be fun?! We've always loved having a really communal household - sharing meals together, sharing groceries evenly and splitting chores as well. It's not a typical household, but it's been working really well for us and we'd like to keep it that way. Sharing food and cooking keeps costs down and taste bud satisfaction up. We want to live with real people, not just fellow tenants. I think that's about it really. The house is completely furnished, topped with a ps4 and a new smart TV (for all your Netflix needs). The house is very light and more than a little odd, with heaps of space and just 5 minutes walk from both the train station and tram stop on Camberwell Rd. Please message me if you're interested! Thanks **Rent will increase by a small amount if it's a couple**
You’d be living with a 30 year old teacher. Very chilled. Looking for someone under 35 to fill the room, On toorak road which gets you into the city in 20 minutes. Right near Burwood train station and also right at the Tram stop on Camberwell road. Close to supermarkets, has a gym complex. Text me or inbox me on flatmates asap to set up a look at the place and meet :)
Hello, everyone, I currently take an old house in Camberwell, it is still in good condition but it needs a little bit of make-over to become a better place to live. I have asked the landlord, he allows us to do anything with the house and we could have it for a year. I want to find someone who has the same interest to grow flowers from the dust, to make this place our home, and we can be so proud to invite our friends come visit and have a good time together. So I am looking for someone who likes to put their thoughts into action, get their hands dirty and do sth to make small changes, design your own room the way u want, you dream of living environment under a limited budget but unlimited imagination, and we could work on the shared area together, if you keen to this and please contact me. Only one room available now. I am so excited to update what one of my roommates have done to her room, I am happy for her that she has the abilly to turn dust into gold~~
I've been in this apartment for about a year, and I love it. My previous flatmates recently moved interstate, so I've only just brought all my furniture in (that's why the walls are bare in the pics 😂). The flat is on a quiet street in a safe, family-friendly area. The local train station, tram stop and Woolworths supermarket are all within 5 min walk. There is also a spacious park and oval at the end of the street. The place is about 20 min away from Hawthorne and half an hour away from central Melbourne. The available room has 3.9m by 3.3m floorspace. It also comes with a large, built-in wardrobe. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished, including washing machine, outdoor clothes line, plenty of Kitchen Appliances, Wi-Fi NBN connection, TV & PS4 (with Netflix and Stan). I currently don’t own a car, so you’d be more than welcome to use the carport.
3 bedroom house 2 bathrooms Living area Separate kitchen and meals area - Gas cooking Ducted heating & cooling Paved backyard and front yard Fully furnished 2 Train stations- within 5mins walk Tram - across the road Woolworths- across the road Please feel free to contact me on, should you have any questions:)
We’re looking for a third housemate to join our cosy unit in Camberwell. The room available is the biggest one in the house. It has a small balcony and two built in closets. Shared bathroom. The rest of the house is furnished and all set up, so you only need to bring your bedroom furniture. A parking spot is available if needed. We are in an awesome spot in Camberwell, only a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and tram stop. Riversdale station is a 5-10min walk. It’s a quick tram trip or 15-20min walk into camberwell junction, with lots of shops, cafes and the sunday camberwell market. Available from the start of October. Looking for someone friendly, social, fun, clean and reliable with rent and bills to move in with us. Bills not included in the price of rent.
Looking after a nice place to call home, where to chill out, dine together, exchanging stories, jokes, movies etc etc Not more in the age of parties and noisy accomodation... I am a full time chef and i like living in tidy places (no cleaning freak though..), where there is mutual respect of common spaces. Ideally with a garden or a balcony where to gro something.. I am into cooking and eating (no wonder..), particular movies, sports, music and art, jogging and wondering around.
I am clean, tidy and respect people's privacy. But in saying that, i wouldn't mind the occasional ubereats feed while watching Netflix with my housemates. On weeknights you'll find me mostly hibernating but I tend to socialize with friends and family more on the weekends. I am easy going and down to earth . I am wanting a place to call home and I hope you are too. If you love chocolate, wine, cheese and boardgame nights then you're my kind of person !
I am from South of Korea. I am a player for Korea national lacrosse team. The reason that i want to live in Australia is for playing lacrosse. (Because Australia lacrosse is very good in the world)
Hey y'all! I'm a full time call centre worker in finance (I like to think I'm not as boring as my job) that's looking for a new home! During the week, I am primarily out during the day for work and generally vegetate when I get home to some trash TV or YouTube. I would love a social home as I'm always up for a laugh and a chat. I have a boyfriend who might hang around some weekends but we like to go out on drives and to get food so you're unlikely to see much of him. Love animals however don't have any of my own so yours will get plenty of attention. Also, I'm a Pisces if that means anything to you ha! Keen to hear from you! Btw, I flexible on length of stay but would prefer at least 6 months
Hey everyone! My name is Yinghan and I am a neat, friendly and responsible 23 year old. Currently I am finishing up my final year in civil engineering and also working part time as an engineer, and will be joining my current company as a full time urban engineer as soon as I graduate in November (can't wait to get out of uni!) I can be a bit quiet and do like time to myself sometimes, but I also really want to team up to form a house where we can have house dinners and chats - I absolutely love cooking so I would really like to live in a house where that is possible! Although I am trying to be alcohol-free, I make some damn good cocktails and have been told by many people that they go pretty well with my food. I'm vegetarian but cool with whatever your dietary choices are! I have lived in share houses since 2014 so I am definitely house trained; references from current and previous housemates are also available if you need them. I like classical and jazz music, watch perhaps way too much Netflix. I am looking to move in to the new place any time before Dec 2018/Jan 2019, but I am flexible on that as finding like minded people is so much more important. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey there! My name is Abby. I work full time in South Melb. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, a non smoker, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. I am getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle. Cheers!

Hi there, my name is Luke! I am looking to rent a room in a share house that is preferably within the Melbourne CBD or Inner East (e.g., Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Richmond, Camberwell) and I'm willing to pay up to $230 per week. I am an Aussie guy who works as counsellor in the mental health field. I am a friendly and easy-going person who enjoys socialising, being active, and the outdoors. I have also had experience living in share houses/renting for more than 5 years and am responsible with paying bills/rent and cleaning up after myself. Please feel free to send me a message if you're interested!
Hi, my name's Troy. I'm an Australian who is clean, tidy, respectful and easy to talk to. I'm a retired professional dancer, Pilates Instructor, and English Teacher. I love pop culture, attending Comic Cons and playing acoustic Blues.
We're a quiet, respectable couple that enjoys spending time outdoors. You will hardly notice our presence because we spend majority of our days at Melbourne University studying, and on the weekends we like to go hiking as much as possible! Due to this, we're looking for affordable accommodation as close as possible to the CBD. Please don't hesitate to get in contact if you'd like to ask us any further questions. We'd also be interested in starting a new share house with other like-minded individuals, so please get in contact if this is something you'd be interested in, and we can meet up!
Hello, my name is Charlotte! I am 18 years old but am very mature for my age. I have also lived in share houses before so I understand what needs to be done to maintain a happy and clean home and environment. I always pay my bills on time and am financially stable. I am currently working 5 jobs. I work at cattery (cat motel), am a dog walker, a reptile handler, baby sitter and also a dancer. Due to all of my jobs, I am a very busy person. I do come home at late hours after work (2am-7am) so you will have to take that into consideration if you decide to message me. In saying this though I make sure that I am quiet when I arrive/if I move about. Since I get home at such late hours, I usually wake up at about 1pm, go to work come back at 6pm then go out for work again. I do have Sundays and part of Monday off so I like to relax at home on these days. I am looking for a housemate/housemates that I can occasionally have a drink with, talk to, share meals or watch a movie with. I am a vegetarian and love to make currys, pasta and random delicious concoctions. I also make waaaay too much so I tend to freeze the leftovers or share it (: My ideal home would be clean, close to public transport (70/75 trams, train stations), and have a calm but happy vibe. I am looking for a room which is ideally 3mx4m or larger and has an ensuite. I am currently looking in Toorak, South Yarra, Hawthorn, Richmond (close to bridge road), Burnley, Camberwell, Carlton, Southbank and possibly surrounding suburbs. I can pay one month rent up front with the bond the day I move in.
