I am 22 and work full time at a Mechanic as a office lady. Except I’m not a normal office lady I wear Nikes and get to drive all the nice cars! I enjoy cooking and especially cooking for people that love my food! I love a glass of wine and to socialise but also enjoy my down time to binge watch Friends or Seinfeld! I'm 22, just about to finish my master of social work. I keep to myself a fair bit but am very friendly and responsible, will always do my fair share of the work. Am going to be very busy next year so can anticipate that most days I'll be out of the house. I'm currently in student apartments but need to move because I'm 24 days off not being a student anymore :) I'm a disability support worker currently but looking for social work jobs at the moment. I always pay bills on time :) Am mostly just looking for a place where we can be friendly but I'll also have my own space. Am also interested in any area in Melbourne really so let me know if you've got anything :)
Hey guys, I have just finished my Honours in Botany at La Trobe University and I'm looking to continue my studies with a PhD over the next few years. Seeking a share-house near uni but am open to suburbs a little further away and am flexible with the move date. I have lived in share houses since I was 20 and quite enjoy it when there is good chemistry between housemates. I have also owned and lived in my own home and have backpacked extensively through many countries including Greece, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Most recently, I spent a year in South America where I volunteered on farms, couch-surfed with many locals, and made a short film with students in Colombia. I used to party a lot but those days are well and truly behind me and Im looking for housemate who are on the same page. I still enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I like to keep things tidy and happy to clean, garden and chip in around the home. I dont mind a bit of a chat. Apart from uni, I work casually as a TV/Film background extra (been doing it for over 10 years) and I also help out a mate every so often with his furniture repair business. I stay fit by hitting the gym and riding my bike to get around. I like: Seeing the happiness in everyday life, simplicity, laughing, gardening, permaculture, exercise, Qi Gong, camping, tidy and peaceful atmospheres, equality, respect for one another etc. I get along best with open-minded, free spirited, positive, creative types who are self-motivated and passionate about what they do in life. People who are thoughtful and respectful are also highly favoured. I'm also very interested in starting a share-house with like-minded people if an opportunity arises. I have some furniture, including a queen bed, desk, small dining table, and a two-seater plus chaise lounge. I also have a top-loader washing machine and a huge 520L like-new fridge. Happy to store some of these items if they are not needed. Happy to answer any questions and I'm really looking forward to seeing what's out there. Cheers
Well, I am quite an outgoing person. I love nature, travelling, the wilderness, arts, music definitely, movies for sure, dancing my most relaxing thing to do, i love taking walks and definitely sitting and having a book and a cup of coffee after a long day. I always respect other people life and what they do. Just as how I would love them to respect mine. But definitely to have people to mingle around and also to spend time together. Am always a person thats up for something new.
I am a full time student, part time waitress. Originally from country NSW, Moving out of student accommodation in the next few weeks. I am finishing my PhD at September, so I will be working a lot, but not all the time. I am very social, so when I'm not working, I will hopefully be going out having fun with my new flatmates. Should that not be the case, then I also already know a few people in the area, so I will not disturb anyone. I am from Denmark, I am visiting Melbourne as a part of my PhD (and also to surf), I have been kitesurfing for a year now and look forward to try out surfing in Melbourne. I cook, so if you wanna try some danish dishes, then I will happily cook a few. I am always happy and easy to get along with.
