Hey, I'm Tom and I am 22 years old. I've recently moved back to Newcastle after spending just over 6 months in Tasmania for work. I've lived in share houses before, so I know the drill! I am easy going, social and clean. I like going out for a bite to eat and a casual beer, but I am also happy to chill at home and watch some Netflix or game.

Hey guys, I am Brodie, I am a 22 year old Youth Worker. I enjoy the beach and enjoying the sunshine. I like to have drinks every now and then but am definitely not a big partier. I don't mind having gatherings sometimes though :) I am mostly home during the day and enjoy reading and watching Netflix. On the weekends I am working but when I am not working I like a sneaky wine or beer and socialising! I am happy to move out with someone who is like-minded, tidy and relaxed. I am happy to meet new people and to have your friends over too :) I have a boyfriend who will be around mostly on the weekends :)
I am a 26-year-old male looking to find a room/studio in the Newcastle region for the next six months to year. I am a considerate individual who respects shared and personal space, as well as maintaining a clean shared living area. As a professional in my field I spend some of my free time studying and building my professional development, but also enjoy being very social and enjoying my down time playing competitive sports, travelling, and catching up with friends. I am a social drinker on the weekends, however spend most of them in Sydney for Sports. I am looking to move into a residence with like minded, easy going people.
New house-person wanted to share a beautiful three-bedroom character-filled home in Islington. The house is well furnished, filled with artworks and comes with a well-used open fireplace. The house is kept clean and tidy and has a couple of living spaces. It’s a stone’s throw from the best coffee in town (aka Suspension), Hamilton train station and Beaumont St. The housemate will ideally be reliable, clean and tidy, have good taste in music, an appreciation of good food and extensive life experience. Rent is $250/week and includes all bills (electricity, water, gas, internet). Third room is a spare / office / reading room that is also available for occasional guests. Potential housemates who smoke can do so outdoors.
Hey guys, Ariel and I have been living together for the last 6 months and have decided its time to move into a bigger place closer to the action in town. We are looking to team up with 1 or 2 people who love Newcastle as much as we do. We enjoy skateboarding, burgers, coffee, the gym, quiet nights in, heading out for drinks, travelling, wine time (especially with cheese) and our 4 month old kitty 'Buki'. I'm (Steph) currently in my second year of a B.Social Work and work for the University. While Ariel is in her first year of B.Business & I.T with a Diploma of Languages at the University of Newcastle working in retail. We are looking for people who have respect for others, enjoy living in a clean space and who genuinely want to live in a home rather than just a house to join on the fun times ahead. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, we are both laid back easy going chickas just looking to expand our brood. Give us a call or text if you're a keen bean 04 06 27 94 00
Hi. My name is Amparo. I am a quiet, easy going person looking for a room in a share house or a small flat. I work part time as a cleaner, and sometimes work afternoon shifts, so I tend to be a 'night owl'. I like watching TV and movies, listening to music, walking, cooking. I like my own company, but am also looking for a flat mate who enjoys socialising. I love pets and would be happy to share with someone with a dog or cat. I am available from now, but am not in a hurry to move.
Hi, I am a very busy, full time working interior designer looking for a new place closer to Newcastle. I do have a little Maltese cross dog named Muffin who has to come with me. I am very sociable, clean & easy going and would like to share with people who don't mind having a chat, hanging out and maybe having a drink after a long day. Please contact me if you think you may have a room for me :)
I am Caterine, 26, PhD student at the University of Newcastle. I am from Brazil and I am a very tidy person (I clean when I am bored). I am quiet and easy going and I usually become friends with my housemates. =) My boyfriend, got me a puppy and he is about 6 months now (he is quite big though) but he is not trouble at all. He is actually adorable and everyone just loves him! His name is Ross and he is a Golden Retriever cross White Shepherd. Ross does not chew things inside the house as most of puppies do and I am training him (he is toilet trained and does not bark, unless when playing). He eats veggies if in the garden and likes doing a little digging when bored though. I am looking for a place that would accept me and my cute Ross!
Hi. My name is Tayla Brankley and I'm a 20 year old student studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Newcastle university. I work as a bartender on Darby St therefore have consistent hours, with majority of those hours being on the weekends. I'm looking for a clean, laid back person/people to move in with, who also occasionally like to go out and socialise. Moving date is flexible.
Hi, 32yr old professional working full time, enjoy weekends getting out an about in the day and catching up w friends for dinner/drinks at night but not looking for party house.
I care about my flatmate's feelings so I always try to minimise noises and keep the place hygienic, I also put great amount of effort into getting along with my flatmates.
The best thing about our house is that it comes with Jody, our giant, gentle puppy who will cuddle you to death. We will need someone who is good with dogs or at least loves them and is willing to learn about doggy rules. We are also vegan, so if you are too, that'd be great, but vegetarian is also fine. The house itself is a lovely renovated place with an open plan lounge room, dining and kitchen. The kitchen has a gas oven and stove. It is a three bedroom house but my partner and I will be in one room, you in the master bedroom and the other will be kept as a spare for guests and study. Your bedroom has giant built ins as well as the ensuite and lots of natural light with beautiful windows. We've got reverse cycle aircon, a nice front deck and we live in a lovely part of the neighbourhood. There's a little storage space outside too.
This is a beautiful newly renovated house just down the road from Islington Park. Walking distance to bus stops, free shuttle bus, the Tafe and Birdy's cafe! We have air-conditioning, a sunny back deck, all necessary furnishings, gas, and a garage with some storage space. It will just be myself living here most of the time with my partner visiting most weekends. We have not been living here for long so still need to get internet connected and do the final decorating touches to the house. We are looking for someone who is mindful, considerate, clean, friendly and not into a party house. A student or professional looking for an intermittent warm friendly living space would be ideal. We have everything you need, even a desk for study if you need it.

We have a great bathroom with a big bath. The house is furnished but if you have some furniture we could negotiate. I work full time in a professional role. I love the outdoors, physical exercise and cooking. I have my own property 1+hrs out newcastle. I enjoy my own company but also love to have a chat over a glass of wine.
Central location close to Waratah shopping village, Woolworths and 5 minute drive to the university. Large spacious rooms, large relaxing back yard, shower and a bath, in built wardrobes, massive lounge room, air conditioning.
Hi my name is Kennedy and I am a student from The Netherlands. I am social and always in for some fun and playing games. Just contact me for more info about myself ✌🏿
The house is pretty big (4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms) with bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. It has a light open feel. Great location, close to park, public transport (bus and train) and Beaumont Street. Room 1 Master Bedroom is very large, with King-sized bed and side tables. It has a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and air conditioning. Room 2 Balcony Bedroom with built ins, ceiling fan and a large balcony.
We have available a large first-floor bedroom with ensuite on account of our very dear housemate moving out. The house is well-established and we all enjoy each others company but also have our own things going on. The bedroom is one of three in an architecturally-designed townhouse/monument to modernity. The house makes clever use of space and natural lighting and ventilation. The open plan kitchen and ground floor is already furnished. We split all bills three ways when they arrive, and we have 100 Megabit fibre internet. If you think Mayfield is worth more than just visiting, get in touch!
Conveniently located within walking distance of shops (Woolworths and aldi), cafes and pubs. The Main Street of mayfield and a train station are also within walking distance providing easy access to public transport. The house is newly renovated and very modern. The kitchen (with dishawasher) and living area are large and open plan. There is a second spacious living area at the front of the house. I have furnished the house with a washing machine, lounge and BBQ, there is space for furniture should a future housemate want to bring some. There is on street parking available as well as a drive through car port. The house has a spacious deck that overlooks a park. The room is $180 p/w exc bills. The room is unfurnished with a built in wardrobe. There is access to unlimited NBN internet but cost is not included in rent. Unfortunately no pets allowed.
Room available in cute miners cottage-style place with small backyard a couple streets over from Beaumont st. The room is carpeted with a built in wardrobe. It is at the front of the house so would best suit somebody who isn't a light sleeper. We are a fairly energy conservative house (no clothes dryer, air conditioning, or major power sucking appliances) - that means that bills are pretty cheap! We also have an extra house pal - a backyard rabbit named Doug :)
Quiet street with friendly neighbours. Walking distance to public pool. Woolworths and Aldi only a few minute drive. ~5 min drive to Beaumont St. ~10 min drive to beaches. Beautiful two bedroom house with two living areas, large kitchen, separate laundry and second toilet, storage shed for bikes/surf boards etc. spacious backyard (I own a labrador- so only enquire if you like dogs- she's not an inside dog). Sorry, no other pets allowed. No smokers please.
Close to everything Newcastle has to offer. Public transport, uni, shops! Mayfield shopping centre with Aldi, Woolworths etc is a few minutes walk away. As is Waratah train station. Our house is super tidy and neat. Rent is cheap and the area is so lovely! We are close to parks and there are footpaths everywhere for walks. Rent is split equally between us so is $140 a week each. Water, electricity and internet are additional to rent but work out to be less than $15 a week generally. The house is currently fully furnished! You will just have to provide furniture for your own bedroom :) the bedroom offered does have a big built in wardrobe!
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a warm, positive, responsible, proactive individual looking for a new place to call home. I'm 35 and work in a variety of fields in part time positions doing business admin & in a freelance capacity in Event Management & the Arts. I enjoy sharing good, healthy food & meal times, a vino & vibrant conversation with those I live with & honour the space we all need to be happy. I have a passion for yoga, dance, art, authenticity, expression & expanding my inner & outer worlds whenever possible. I've just returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & adventure. I’m happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I’ve lived in large share houses & in duo’s, both have their pro’s & con’s – but the right mix is essential for a happy house. Space is important to me, inside & out, so no small apartments will cut the mustard. I've got furniture & appliances to contribute to the house & I'm completely house trained (am a bit of a handy-woman & even come with tools to help with odd jobs around the house). I enjoy living with mature, clean, positive & professional adults with a secure disposition that have their work⁄life⁄fun balance down pat. I've got a super friendly, indoor 13yr old female tabby cat. She's awesome company, spends most of the time sleeping on my bed & is a real gem of a furry friend, you're going to love her. I'm hoping to share space with conscious, connected people that want to create a home, not just a house to live in. Art is my life blood so a space to create is also a must in my new abode (perhaps the garage or a sunroom for example), I know the perfect home is out there! Look forward to meeting you Chat soon Jen
I'm a Newcastle University student looking for a place closer to campus. From the coast & keen to meet new people and try new things. Roomies must be open for midnight snack runs and unplanned adventure, or at least able to tolerate them occuring. No unsolicited calls. This constitutes immediate refusal to conduct business and earns my eternal ire.
I'm Erin, I'm almost 20 years old (in December), I study a bacehlor of Social Work full-time and although I'm currently unemployed I am looking for work. I've lived out of home for over a year now. I am clean and responsible and very respectful of others. Because I go on prac February next year, I'll barely be around, only at nights and weekends.
Hey, I'm looking for a room preferably in a great sharehouse.. not a mediocre one. To give you some background on me - I'm currently staying at a family friends place in Hamilton after moving back from living in the UK. I've previously lived in Newcastle while I was studying a social science degree so I've got quite a few friends in the area and like to stay busy. I am currently working full time 9 - 5 in a government job and studying a masters of public health part time. I've lived for 7 years in share houses so I know how to live respectfully and communally and I enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Lauren.
