Looking for people of a like mind that would work well together in a house. Not interested in student accommodation if it's a regular party house, but a few casual bevies on the weekend is welcomed.

Hi I'm Lea-Anne and I'm looking for somewhere to live. I've just moved to Newcastle and am staying with family for the moment whilst I find a place. I am open to most suburbs, would prefer ones listed or surrounds as would like to be close to town however I am open to different ones too. At this stage I am looking for 6-12 months however could be longer. I am easy going, happy, healthy, friendly, I am house trained haha clean and cook well. Open to being friends with my flat mates and doing fun things together at times as well. I am an animal lover and I am a non smoker. Looking forward to chatting and meeting new people and hopefully find a great place to live, thanks. Note: If you are going to be rude and abusive in contacting me, like one recent person when I declined their offer, do not bother replying. I don't know how some people expect to rent a room with an attitude like that!
I am a laid back extroverted guy with a good sense of humour. Have lived with flat mates for 20 years and enjoy the company of others. I am definitely not boring and enjoy a good laugh, a few drinks and good banter. I am clean, respectful of others and their property. I work in Sydney but will be spending a good amount of time in Newcastle. I am a manager working in a HR field and have my life sorted. I don't have pets and I am not a crazy nutter. Have a tendency to make others laugh and can tell a good story. Can afford rent and will always pay on time but would prefer bills built into Rent as I would prefer just a flat fee every week. Would be looking to spend Friday night to Tuesday morning in Newcastle and the rest in Sydney. Hope to talk to someone soon. Prefer my own bathroom, no more than 2 flat mates and don't mind pets but prefer dogs. Prefer around Adamstown or the beach, mayfield or Hamilton. Cheers Jeff
Hey I'm Georgia, an easy-going full time student. I love the beach and the outdoors, but also love relaxing at home. I enjoy banter and would love to live with other friendly, like-minded people who enjoy nature, good food and the occasional drinks.
Hello! I am originally from the U.S. and moved here almost 3 years ago. I am easy going and love socializing but also enjoy my alone time. Most the time I am just lounging, reading a book or dabbling in art. I try to get out and about as much as possible. Mainly going to the beach, hiking (if I can catch a ride since I don't have a car), jogging and just going on long walks to enjoy the city. I like to party but do it rarely and never bring it home. I work 9-5 in a factory in Tighes Hill as an unskilled labourer. Nothing fancy but it pays the bills! Just looking for some chill people to live with.
Large apartment on Milford Street in Islington (Maryville), with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two car spaces in a boutique security building. Within metres of cafes and restaurants including Baked Uprising and The Maryville Tavern and walking distance to both Honeysuckle and Beaumont Street (think transport, shopping and foreshore walks to the Newcastle CBD). The 155m apartment located on the first floor features air conditioning, security access, internal laundry, built in robe and appliances. Property is furnished except for your bedroom. So looking for a housemate who is considerate and respectful of my possessions :) $260 per week excluding bills or $290 including electricity, gas, water, internet and miscellaneous (dish washing liquid etc).
We are a young married couple looking for somewhere to live for a year or so in Newcastle. Amy is a gardener and Ryan works in the environmental field. We are both tidy and super easy going, can keep to ourselves or be part of the gang. We have not shared a house before but understand how flexible we need to be to get along with others. Ryan is an avid fisherman and cook, Amy likes yoga and reading, we both love bush walking, kayaking, camping.
Currently living on campus at the University of Newcastle, looking to move into a sharehouse. I go to uni at the Callaghan campus and work in Hunter St Mall, so would like to live somewhere between the two. I'm easy going, love the beach and socialising- would love to live somewhere relatively tidy and respectful but definitely enjoy going out some weekends and being around good people!
I am moving to Newcastle for work and am looking for some easy going and friendly housemates to move in with. I am tidy and respectful and have lived in shared accommodation for the last four years. I will be working full time so will not be home much throughout the week but will be keen to have a chat and the occasional drink and meal with others.
A great location that’s about a 5 minute walk to Beaumont street and about 20 metres from the Maryville Tavern. There is also a bus stop on the corner that will take you right into the NewSpace University. We have 1 unfurnished room with a double mirrored built in cupboard up for grabs come December. The room is quite large that currently fits a queen bed and desk with plenty room to move. The rest of the house will be (mostly) furnished.
2 super chill housemates that both work full time, friendly household (but we respect people’s space), super close to pubs and shops, dinner is cooked most nights. Male housemate is 23, into gaming and a bit dopey but super nice. Female housemate is 21, enjoys quiet drinks on a weekend, into gaming and can sort of surf. She’s a bit sassy sometimes but she’s a top Sheila with a bit of common sense so she makes up for the other half of the household...
centrally located in a peaceful neighbourhood, only ten minutes to town, Kotara and five minutes to the uni. perfect for workers or mature age students. the house has been recently renovated, with gas stove oven and hot water. plenty of storage and large rooms. Recently NBN has been connected to the house with a 12/24 plan.

Hi I'm Steph and I'm relocating from North Queensland to start my new role in Newcastle at the start of January. I will be working full-time and studying full-time so i will be a bit of a ghost Mon-Fri. On weekends, provided the sun is out, you won't catch me indoors much either and I don't mind a wine come Friday afternoon :) I'm super friendly and tidy and have lived in sharehouses for serveral years now. I understand the importance of personal space but am always up for a chat too. I would prefer to move into a place that is fully furnished (or close too), with off street parking and for a minimum of 6 months. Not looking for a party house but social events definitely welcome :) If i sound like your kind of housemate, please send me a message. Thank you
I am a 21 year old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have an 11-month-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
Hi, I’m Maddi I’m 22years old currently studying primary teaching while also working part time at a cafe on Darby Street. I’m easy going, sociable and love a beer or two. I also have a pet cockatiel named Clark. He will only be staying with me around 3-4 days a week. He’s pretty chill and isn’t very noisy. I’m also ready to move in asap :)
Im single, tidy, organized, a personal trainer (so I work split shifts and you wont have to see alot of me), respectful of others belongings. Im very social so don't spend alot of time at home. I love all things clean so l love a clean house!
One massive bedroom available in well appointed three bedroom house. The bedroom is very large and comes with bay windows. The house is a 5 minute walk from Hamilton Station and bus stops as well as Beaumont St cafes + shops, and close to the river/marina/Honeysuckle. Also a 15 min walk or very short drive to Aldi. House has one bathroom but additional toilet located off laundry. There's a small spare bedroom located at the back of the house and a paved outdoor area out the back with seating, great for small gatherings and bbq's! There is also a large sun room at the front of the house that we don't really use for anything - happy for suggestions once you move in :) Current housemates are a 21yr old female and 28 yr old male, both working full time. We are very laid back and easy to get along with. We aren't neat freaks but we do keep it clean. Sociable, easy going and active (we also enjoy a sneaky beer now and again). Could be the best housemates in Newy! Please email or call/message to gain further details and arrange inspection. Cheers, Luke.

I enjoy a drink or 2 on the weekends, and am pretty busy during the week with sport.

Hey I am looking for a place for after I graduate in November. I am an Engineering student currently working in Beresfield whilst finishing off my FYP. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time. I often get up quite early so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
