Hey! We're Cecilia and Henry, two backpackers who are trying to settle down after traveling and living in different parts of Australia. We have already experienced the most typical backpacker lifestyle and now we would like stability and a lifestyle which allows us to focus on our technical/professional careers development. He's a mechanical fitter and I'm a chemical engineer, the idea of moving to Perth is getting a job according to our careers. We're an international couple, he's from England and I'm from Uruguay, so we're really interested in learning and embracing new cultures. We're currently living in a shared house in Brisbane, but moving to Perth at the end of June. After sharing accommodation for a while, we are looking for a private space for us, ideally a studio or one bedroom apartment or house, but open to other options. We're very organised and clean people, so we also enjoy to live in a clean house. We have shared places to stay with other people several times, so we know how to adapt to house rules. We love practising sports and any outdoor activities. So we'll probably not be so much in the house during our days off. It's the first time we'll live in Perth and we'd love to find a house which we can feel at home there :)

Aussie woman returning home from a long stay over in the UK caring for elderly parent. I've now inherited a dog and have a cat. I enjoy my own space as well as having a good old yarn and lifestyle wise, I am pretty quiet. I love animals and have a cat and dog that will be flying home with me. For this reason it is essential that I have a pet friendly pad to rest my head. Be great to find a buddy who can go to viewings and move in to our new shared place. I’d pay agent direct a lump sum for my part of the rent so buddy would have that assurance. I’m due fly back in September. I am happy to do whatsapp or facetime video chats. In an ideal world, I'd prefer to share with a quiet, single person of similar age. Furnished would be ideal but I can get my own stuff for the right pad. I follow a Buddhist pathway so am pretty chilled, good laugh, like simple things. I just need to get back and , preferred areas listed are where family or pals are so they are preferential although not essential in the current climate...consider all ! Other sharers: respectful of beliefs, good morals, animal loving, good humoured and even tempered. Vegan or Vege house preferred but not essential if respect is there. Definitely not heavy drinkers or gamers. Very much need to do my own thing come food time due to food intolerances and preferences...I don't eat animal produce. I have no furniture.
