I'm a single mum of two kids. They're enrolled in Prep and Year 2 at Kenmore State School. I'm also a full-time student: trained as a doctor in India, I've cleared the first of my Australian medical council exams and currently preparing for my clinical exam. We're respectful of housemates and tidy up as we go. Looking forward to meeting up with our new housemates :)
I'm roadtripping up from Melb to Bris in Jan chasing the warm breeze and muggy nights. I'll be starting my job Jan 29th so hoping to be settled somewhere by then. Happy to live anywhere as long as there is lots of lovely smelling trees around and nice places to stroll. Mount Coot-Tha general area seems pretty dreamy. I like laughing, yoga, reading, dancing, rainforests and waterfalls, mountains, blissing out to a good tune and chats about anything from the weather to the meaning of life. I eat mostly plants and try to live pretty healthy. We'll see how my lifestyle adapts to Brissy but at the moment I'm not home too often. Usually out any spare moment I get hiking and exploring new places or at markets and op shops. **I'm allergic to cats
Recently renovated. New kitchen, appliances and timber flooring. Fully furnished and air-conditioned. Few minutes walk to shopping centres and buses. Big deck with views to the city and Mt Coot tha. Own vanity basin in bedroom and a fridge for yourself. Bus next door to the City, South Brisbane and UQ. Suit serious students and professionals.
I am currently working Full Time and am seeking a space to call home for at least 6 months with like minded individuals. I am open to living with more than 1 person and either genders, preferably with individuals around a similar age as myself, early 30s, who too are living their own lives (working or professional) and are not about bringing the party home every night...those days have sailed for me. :-) I am seeking a room for myself and if furnished, bonus. I have recently returned from living abroad for two years and previous to that I lived in Melbourne - so Brisbane is somewhat new for me still after 3 months. So, I am afraid I do not bring much to contributing to the space 'furniture wise'. I am an introvert by nature and not necessarily someone who will hang out every night with you, but I shall be definitely be up for chats now and then - work is where I need to be extroverted so when I finish work, I am kind of spent :-) I am super clean and will ensure that when finished in the kitchen, it is as clean as when I started in it. I am not unfamiliar with cleaning 'rosters' so, if you have that going, I am totally open to it! I hope to live with individuals who are similar in terms of their needs/desires and maybe we can meet and chat to see that we would fit. Thank you for your time :-)
*** Rooms still available - wanting to fill by Xmas**** Extra large room with own bathroom and undercover car space with mountain views in large resort style house with pool, on-site gym, wine cellar, pool room, cinema, 6bed, 5 bath. $275/w - less if you want to share a bathroom ($250). Smaller room is $230. It's a very large house spread over 1600 square metres so plenty of space. Close to UQ university, Indooroopilly shopping town and public transport. Not really a party house. Looking for someone that considers their home a Santuary. It's a very peaceful and tranquil place to live with mature housemates in their early 30's that are respectful of privacy but also enjoy the occasional wine and cooking the odd meal together.
You can have a choice from 2 room, the main room which opens onto the balcony and also the spare room next to it. Both have air conditioning, you would also have your own bathroom upstairs. Awesome views of Mount Cootha, Sunrise and sunset are perfect from the balcony. There is a good size pool and 2 decks providing awesome entertainment areas. Open pit fireplace for the winter and there is one air conditioner upstairs for the summer, your room has an aircon also. Two large TV's and a alright size backyard for the 2 dogs (Brown lad and koolie x cattle dog)
Fully furnished (if required), private bedrooms located minutes from supermarket and bus to the city and UQ. bills including unlimited internet are included in rent. Very private, peaceful and friendly environment (non-party house). Great for students or young working people. Great view, located on top of hill. Pool available (in summer). Friendly sharemates mainly females in 20s working and studying, busy lifestyle but happy to have a chat at night or on weekends.
This property despite being on a main road is shielded from the noise. All everyday shops in walking distance and Indooroopilly shopping centre with in 4kms including a BP just across the road for any late night cravings . . . Oh and fuel I guess 😂 House has air conditioning throughout and own personal aircon in your room. There are two bathrooms in the house and at this stage am only taking on yourself meaning third room will be a shared study and a second lounge room in the front but optional for a third room to let if we so desire. There is plenty of storage underneath the house. Apart from your room the rest of the house is relatively furnished and also have all amenities such as fridge, dishwasher and washing machine already provided incl. unlimited internet already installed etc. Inside of the property has been renovated so what else could you want!
I consider myself an interesting and bubbly personality. I'm extremely spiritual and recently started getting into aromatherapy and colour therapy. I want to say I'm a creative person but I want to surround myself with other creative minds to keep me inspired. I've been travelling Australia for 1 year and I'm finally back! I'm a clean person and enjoy long chats and good company. Hopefully we meet very soon!
Hello my name is Michael I'm a clean tidy and responsible person. I just sold my house and waiting on settlement this Friday. I would like to do some study next year. I'm finicially secure. I have a good and get on with most people. I'm looking for a quite house but don't mind to socialise just not through the whole night. Don't mind a social drink
Hey! I'm an Irish doctor looking to share a place with one or two easy-going people. I've just arrived in Brisbane after being in Perth for the last 2 years. I would prefer a house rather than an apartment if possible, and need parking. Ideally I would like to have air-con in the bedroom and my own bathroom as well. Let me know if you're looking for something similar!
Hello. I'm Ralph, 29, ESL (English as a Second Language) High School teacher and self proclaimed History buff. I have a background in English Literature. I am coming to Brisbane from Lebanon for an MS in Communication. I am hoping for a career shift from teaching to working in copywriting or product journalism, hence the new degree. I am a clean and tidy individual who enjoys a certain set routine in my everyday life. I am no longer a youngster looking for "an amazing adventure" abroad or "an unforgettable experience" as an international student. I'm almost 30, big on the outdoors, rather reserved, but quite social when I have to be. Looking for a professional(s) with a similar outlook. I have no problem with people from all walks of life, love pets and would like to help or contribute in my new home in any way possible. Not a big drinker, social or otherwise, but I will share a beer and a nice chat from time to time. I'm easygoing and flexible when it comes to other people's preferences and I usually have good advice about what book to read next.
Hey i'm George originally from the Sunny Coast, moved down to Brisbane to work full time as an Electrical apprentice. I enjoy things like going out with mates. 4WD or going up the beach. Always enjoy catching up for drink and a chat. Looking for a cheap place to stay with a good bunch of people.
Hi! I’m Liam, I'm an easygoing 27-year-old young professional. Originally from Townsville and have been in Brisbane for just over 3 years. My interests are music, reading and exercise. During the week I prefer to relax at home, work out and rest. I'm more active/social with my weekends but not looking for a major party house. 420 friendly but do not partake myself. Non-smoker, drink very rarely. My max budget is 200$/week, Currently live in Oxley and work in Petrie Terrace, so I'm looking to move closer to Petrie while avoiding the hustle and bustle of the city. Preferably a place with cool stuff to do like West End! Require private room with en-suite bathroom. Feel free to share more information or get in touch!
I’m reliable when it comes to rent and other bills and always keep shared spaces clean. I’m generally quiet and like to keep to myself. I’m a part time worker at an accounting/software company and am studying PR and Advertising full time at QUT. Looking to share with one or two others.
I am a student at UQ studying Health Sciences (Nutrition) this year and am also learning Japanese part-time. The best way to explain me would probably be an introvert, but not one in the common sense. I'm a non-drinker so I'm not really one for throwing wild parties, getting drunk or making a ruckus at night. I'm quite empathetic of those around me, that means not making much noise and being out of the other flatmates way as much as possible. Despite being introverted I am quite sociable when I want to be, I'm weird in some ways, funny in others and I like to dance, watch movies, watch sport (AFL, yes I'm from Melbourne what do you expect, NBA and Cricket if theres a BBQ going on) and play sport/video games (I have a PS4, a main PC, and a switch) so if you have interests in either or anyone of these things, chances are we will get along quite well. I am definitely fine with dogs and cats as I grew up around both, just warning though as I give mean belly scratches so they might end up loving me more than you. What I'm looking for: A nice place that is around Kenmore, Indooroopilly or St Lucia which as long as it has a bed and maybe a desk(I can get one myself so not all flustered with it to be honest). I expect the people living there to be respectful of me as I am of them and if so, we will get along swimmingly. I would also like to add that I'm moving in from Sydney so the place has to be available from mid to late February. Hope to hear back from some of you soon.
I'm very respectful and will always give a helping hand around the house! I love to cook and always happy to share. I'm a very friendly and understanding person so you can always approach me about anything. Rent and bills are my first priority financially and I always ensure they are paid on time :)
Hi there! I am a 23 year old hardworking professional. By (week)day I am a early childhood educator, and for the rest of the time I am a tragically struggling artist 😂 (I’m a photographer). I have a gorgeous dog called Indigo who is 3 years old and a Bull Arab x Border Collie. She is super super friendly, great with kids and (most) other animals. I am very open minded and whomever I share a house with will need to be the same. I can be loud and (at least I think) funny, but I also have my serious side. I am as loyal as my dog is (well if you have treats she might be more loyal than me) and am always happy to help out. I am an open book, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
I'm a coming up second year student at UQ who also works part-time at Nandos in Woolloongabba. I'm back home in Tassie for holidays at the moment but I'll be back in Brisbane by the 20th of January when my lease at my current place runs out. I'm pretty chill and love a good netflix binge session, but I also really enjoy having a good time and adventuring whenever possible. I absolutely love the beach, music, art and most sports (especially jiu jitsu and other martial arts). I'm friendly, responsible, tidy and clean, though my room may occasionally exhibit some organised mess :) I'm looking for a nice place to live, preferably with separate rooms, not too expensive and one or two other girls who hopefully have a good sense of humour and who'd be happy to make a new friend.
I'm a student from Japan. I like watching movie, playing sports, and traveling. I study English here so I would like to speak English with you! I'll do internship at a Kindergarten in Kenmore from February to end of March. My major is Early childhood education.
Hi, I am a 23 year old female looking for a new home for my cat and I. I work part-time but will begin a full time position in mid February. I am a very clean and organised person who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and playing video games. I am also a very relaxed person who is accepting of all lifestyles. My cat is named Ravioli and he is a domestic short hair cross. He is a VERY cuddly and loving cat who is constantly purring. He is very lazy and loves his food. His personality is similar to a dogs as he is friendly to everyone and will follow people around. He is currently an indoor cat but if the surrounding area is safe, I may encourage him to go outside.
