We are a couple from Argentina. We like share diferences about our culture, our country. We were living in Sydney one year, so we have references. We are tidy and no smoker. Easy going people to live with
I'm quiet easy going who loves to draw. You'll often find me with my notebook and pens as I doodle away. Currently looking at going back to school and finally finishing my studies so plan to find a job around this schedule. I'm cashed up and able to fund my rent and bond. Ideally you will be close to transport and train station. Prefer a place that is pretty low key and minimal partying. Love a casual chat and sharing a meal. Unfortunately I do smoke so an outdoor area is appreciated. I don’t have pets but love animals.
Really modern house, and huge room with ensuite available for just over 2 weeks! Fully furnished with a TV. It's bright and breezy! a 3 minute walk from Kensington train station (Craigieburn line) and 10 minute walk to Macaulay (upfield line)
I’m great company with flexible easy- going attitude. Work full time in the city so will be home in the evenings most nights. Love the arts and enjoy live music and the theatre. I also love to cook and would love some company over dinner for a chat or even watch a movie with some wine :-) I love animals and happy to live with one. I’m neat and tidy and quite enjoy cleaning. Looking forward to sharing with a few great people!
Currently two rooms available Only one female from Uni of Melb are staying there. Waiting for another young couple or single female to share. Price is negotiable for singles. Owner doesn’t live there. House mates look after one another.
I'm a very friendly, outgoing guy. I'm from Mexico, and I just finished my studies at Melbourne Uni and will be starting a new job next week based in the city. I'm looking for a place close to the city. I plan to use my bike as my transport. I like technology, movies, music, singing, Mexican food and good company over a drink of tequila. You'd love having me in your house cause I'll cook you up some tasty tacos!

Hello. We have a room to rent in our fantastic property in Kensington. Room is a self contained granny flat, disconnected from the main house with a separate entry. We are a stones throw from Kensington high street. Which means supermarket, restaurants, cafe's, pub and everything else you may need are at our fingertips. We are also just across the road from the train station, which is two stops away from Melbourne CBD (5 mins). There is a bus stop around the corner and short walk to tram. There are three of us living here in the main house. One couple, 33 and 30 years. Marty runs his own floor and wall tiling business and Lizzie is an early childhood teacher. Sarah (early twenties) is studying medicine at Melbourne Uni. We are fairly busy and spend our time at home chilling out, having a bbq, cooking, watching the footy etc. We are very easy going. We also have a super friendly pup too so MUST love dogs! The granny flat is a great space. Filled with light (two large windows), its own ensuite, kitchenette (inc. oven and fridge), shelving and split system heating/cooling. Would love to meet anyone who feels our home might suit! :) *please note the granny flat is not furnished. It does however have a small fridge and shelving unit for use.
Hi! I'm Sara, I'm a 31 years old doctor from Italy coming to Melbourne to do a period of my residency (in psychiatry) abroad. I'll stay in Melbourne up to six months and I'll mostly study and work through the week but still enjoy a few drinks and a laugh in my spare time!
Step inside this surprisingly spacious, self contained, secure studio space, and enjoy all the features it has to offer, in this convenient, inner city location. Fully furnished featuring; new fridge, equipped kitchen with electric appliances, open plan living and bedroom with built in robe. Separate bathroom with laundry facilities, refrigerated cooling & heating, flat screen TV, ceiling fan and paved courtyard at shared use. Recently renovated with new carpets, fresh coat of paint, new oven and cooktop and washing machine. You'll have the benefit of a self contained space with your own, secure access and a sunny backyard without the hassles of connecting and disconnecting utilities or purchasing a significant amount of furnishings. Only minutes walk to three separate train stations, trams, buses, lifestyle cafes and shopping precinct. Inspection is a must, as this fantastic property won't last long!
I’m a 23 year old beachy girl who’s recently moved to the city. I’m working full time Monday to Friday and aim to spend my time off exploring this insane city or spending time working on things that benefit my life in some way, sometimes that’s just gotta be down time. I like to believe that I’m very open minded and a very positive person. My perfect house would be described I guess as a tidy but not uptight environment.
Born in QLD but been living in Ballarat/Melbourne for the past 5 years. I'm friendly, quiet and polite. Shy at first but easy to get along with. Willing to pull my weight with cleaning, etc.
Howdy! My name is Josh and I work full time as a Support Coordinator for a large NGO in Melbourne. Originally from Rosebud, I'm looking for a place to move into that'll be close to work and all the fun things that Melbourne has to offer. Ideally looking for somewhere close to public transport as I'm keen to sell my car to save money. I'm a chilled, down to earth guy who enjoys the company of others as much as my own. Would love to be somewhere that doesn't have constantly closed doors and housemates who enjoy after work banter. I love being outdoors and active as much as being in the kitchen and am extremely house proud. You can count on me to not leave dirty dishes piling up in the sink! I'm open to considering different areas around Melbourne, so hit me up and we can go from there!
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home, and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. Preference 1: my own studio unit/flat Preference 2: share a house with ONE other person I need two rooms, preferably with my own bathroom Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville. Would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington. Parking should be available, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour Currently renting a shoebox two-bedroom flat in West Footscray. The landlord has no problem with me and was happy to offer another 12-month lease, but I am taking my Body Corp to court for something. I cannot stay here for much longer. Besides, climbing lots of stairs is bad for my sensitive back. Would be nice to move into ground-floor accommodation. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but am not obliged to be your psychologist) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas, water, electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
Hey potential flatmates! I'm coming to University of Melbourne on exchange from University of Toronto. I will be arriving in Melbourne mid July. I just finished my first year at Uni studying environmental and urban geography. I'm friendly, tidy, and respectful of others space and privacy. I am easy going and tend to go with the flow. I like cooking, baking and and trying new foods - I'm basically a foodie! I also love dessert, I'm pretty much addicted to chocolate haha! I enjoy working out, going to the beach and being outdoors. Canada doesn't get much sun so I'm definitely looking forward to some aussie sunshine. I love to travel and like hearing about other's traveling experiences. I've been to Australia a few times, mainly Perth and Sydney, and even did an exchange back in high school to Coffs Harbour, NSW. I haven't been to Melbourne yet so I look forward to going out and exploring the city! Feel free to message me if you are interested in having me as a new flatmate or doing a team up! Thanks!
Will join Melbourne as a student of University of Melbourne in July. Looking for a room with single bed option, no bunk beds (coz I'm kinda claustrophobic). An easy-going person and pretty friendly. Love a good chat but also respects personal space. Can't wait to meet my new roomies. See ya soon! :)
Hi! You can call me “Yong”. I’m from Thailand, I come to here to study in cooking to fulfill my dreams. I enjoy walking around city to see the buildings as I finished my degree in Architectural field, going out to see the difference in mix cultures. I’m a clean person with the very asian culture that not to wear shoes in the house and always wash the dishes after finished the food. I’m quite an introvert person, sometimes love being alone laying around watch Netflix all day, or maybe going out to the park would be my pleasure.
Hi there! :) I am a health-professional looking for a long-term accommodation. I have done a fair bit of travelling and living in shared accommodation over the years and truly appreciate sharing space with nice folks. I am respectful of your personal space, very easy going, and looking forward to a clean and comfortable home to come back to after a long day's work. I do not drink or smoke, but always love cider-fueled conversations over a lazy weekend. Depending on the weather and my work schedule, I would head down to the beach and try to catch some dinner. Otherwise, I might be in the mountains for the snow during the winter months. Please drop me a message if I sound like a decent housemate to you. Thanks. Sito
Hi there! I'm Jess, I'm 23 years old. I work full-time in the sports industry in marketing and communications in South Melbourne and moonlight as a swimming instructor on the side. I play roller derby in my free time. I'm always up for brunch, good coffee and a chat. Consider myself to be fairly well house trained, clean and considerate.
I am a friendly and honest young woman from countryside Victoria looking for somewhere to live long term. Although I am already a chef by trade I am a mature aged student currently studying Certificate IV in Pastry at William Angliss, I prefer to live somewhere close to a train station as I have to commute often to the city due to my course. Having already studied food health I understand the importance of a clean and tidy environment. In my spare time when I’m not studying I like to cook and read a good novel. I do have a past rental experience, happy to supply a reference on request.
I currently live in my hometown on the border of Victoria and NSW but I am going to move to the big smoke and experience something new. I’m a very easy going, polite and tidy person who loves her own space but also the company of others. I am a early childhood educator. I enjoy going for walks/runs, gym, cooking and living life to the fullest. I look forward to meeting new people :)
I'm very tidy and I love living in clean places. I'm very friendly and just love meeting new people.
I'm a nutritionist coming from Mexico for 6 months to work on sports research. Im calm and friendly, not at all into partying but up for a drink or coffee with a chat. I would like a place where the mood is friendly and the place is clean.
Hello! My name is Emma. I recently moved to Melbourne to study and am looking for a room to call my own. I like keeping things clean and tidy, like to socialise but also like my own space and time and definitely respect privacy. Always up for a chat and perhaps sharing occasional meals together but I'm happy not to aswell. I enjoy cooking and eat quite healthily. Im friendly to all I meet and easy going to live with (as long as you're willing to keep the place clean too) :) I'm pretty quiet when I'm at home and not a party person at all (although I love the odd glass of wine) so looking for a relaxing home to live in. Im pretty flexible with the length of my stay and would potentially like to stay somewhere for a year or even more if suitable. Nothing less then 5 months. Also flexible on the move in date, can be sooner or later aswell. If you think we'd live welll together, I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
