I'm a graphic designer and I run my own freelance design company. I work from home most days and also on the road a fair bit to meet clients. I'm looking for a room to rent in a suburb not too far out with people who are friendly and considerate and wouldn't mind sharing with a very cute and friendly dog. I'm a pretty social person, and love catching up with mates for dinner and drinks on the weekends or go for bike rides. I'll describe myself as easy going and clean and like to to maintain the shared living environment in a clean and hygienic state. I have lived in share houses for many years so I know how to be a decent and considerate housemate. I also have a 5 year old Japanese Spitz who is completely house trained. He doesn't chew except his own toys, and he's very laid back and friendly and doesn't bark much at all. He is great with cats and other small dogs, but is scared of big or aggressive dogs. But he will pretty much follow you everywhere and loves food!
Hi there **looking for third person to house share with** I am a full time working professional who is very clean and respectful and appreciate the same. Love chilling with a glass of wine to relax and also into my fitness. I have just accepted a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom beautifully renovated place to stay in Seaholme (Altona). Please let me know if interested and I can send you the link 😊 Cheers Tania
We are Slava and Olesia couple from Russia in our early 30s. We here to study English in order to improve our career success. We are easy going and always up for a good laugh, chats, beach days and the occasional night out. We both are tidy and clean persons. We'd love to find the nice place and good company for the next 3-4 months.
Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of a year, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 4th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
Hi! I’m a happy, easy going person who likes a tidy nice house to come home too. I’m always up for a chat but am respectful of people’s space and expect the same in return. I am hard-working but love my downtime when I get it. I am active and love getting out of the house to be with friends or explore the city. I work as a musician and teacher so I don’t have a strictly 9-5 schedule and I travel a bit throughout the year.
I'm a software developer working in Docklands (not a bank, dw :-P), originally from NSW (Coffs Harbour, if you know it), and a lapsed physics major. Also, Mao (my cat) is friendly with humans and dogs (with a little coaxing). Primarily interested in a team-up with 2-3 people. Personally, I'm easy-going, tidy (shared areas, I'd be lying if I said my room was spick and span), and like music, chilling with a glass of wine and a good book, cooking, building things and watching the various social and political trainwrecks in motion (like is a strong word). I'm reasonably quiet and like a sharehouse that is too (noise after midnight on a worknight isn't ideal. Morning isn't as much of a concern, as I'm off to work pretty early). Also, bonus features: an espresso machine, Netflix subscription, pretty decent at baking.
Hi Househunters, We have 1, possibly 2 rooms opening in our share house in Kensington. We're looking for: -Someone who is of similar age (27-35) with a fair amount of share housing experience, we have 10+ years each. -Someone who is a team player when it comes to house work. -Someone who wants to be a part of a home, not just rent a room. -Someone who is down for weekends filled with naps, drinks and slow cookers. -Someone who will apply through the realestate and then go on the lease. -Someone who does all obvious stuff like pays rent before the due date, is clean and pays bills on time. The room is large and has a big built in wardrobe. It is on the middle level of the property. You'd be sharing the bathroom with one other person. The cost is $750-$900 (depending on the room) per calendar month, due on the 20th. All bills and internet split evenly. Move in date January 20th. 1 months rent and bond is due before or on the 20th of January. We are hoping to have the new housemate confirmed before Christmas as one of us is going overseas until mid January. Disclaimer: our internet is kinda slow, but enough to support a good Netflix binge, we have no TV aerials in the house, so we stream what we want to watch.
Easy going, chill, respectful, clean and neat/tidy. I am a full time photographer working in the CBD, I am currently looking for a room, preferably ensuite- unfurnished, in a share house as I am currently looking to relocate closer to the city.

I work full time in South Yarra & I'm currently living towards the Peninsula so im hoping to find a new place closer to work. I spend alot of time out and about so you will be able to have space alot of the time. In saying that ide love a housemate who joins me on my adventures from time to time. A glass of wine, food and a good track = happy me. Im fun and love to have a joke. Looking for people of similiar age to myself, who are employed to team up with.
THE ROOM: A large master bedroom complete with a large ensuite, walk in robe and balcony. A beautiful zen space with aplenty natural light. Let us know if you are interested in purchasing the room furnishings for a cheap price as the current housemates in this room will be selling it all. $315 per week (single person) / $378 per week (couple) THE HOUSE: A large 3 bedroom house with an open space living area. There are 2 small outdoor areas, high ceilings, lots of storage space, natural light, a downstairs powder room, an upstairs shared bathroom (featuring a bath with spa jets), a garage, on street parking, and warm, welcoming and positive vibes! Side note: the current ugly furnishings in the communal spaces will be replaced in early 2018 to turn this house into an even more beautiful home (so if you have furnishings you want to bring, we can possibly arrange this). THE LOCATION: A 12 minute drive to the city, 10 minute walk to 3 train stations (Kensington, Newmarket and South Kensington) and a 12 minute walk to a 4th train station (Macaulay). This makes getting around super easy and convenient, even if you don’t have a car! For those of you who don’t know much about Kensington- it is a gorgeous suburb filled with parks, nature, families, dogs, cafes, diversity and cobble stone laneways. We love it because it radiates peace and serenity (a nice contrast from the hustling city, which is still just around the corner).
Hi, I'm Ben, 27 and working full-time as an Architect in the city. I'm looking for a new place to move into mid Jan, ideally long-term (min 6 months). I'm usually pretty busy with work but outside of that I enjoy gardening and riding/working on bikes. I also love cooking and enjoy sharing the occasional meal. I mostly eat vegan but am open to other dietary choices. I'm not much of a homebody and spend a fair bit of time heading to gigs or biking/camping with friends. I've lived in 4 different shares so I'm pretty chill about most things and am always happy to do my part of the cooking/cleaning/shopping/whatever. It'd be rad if there was room for a vege patch or shed space available for my bikes and a few tools. Non-smoker and also can't live with pets inside (asthmatic). Cheers!
Seeking a furnished room, bills and internet included in rent. I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I commence full-time on 18 December and hope to study counselling part-time in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
Relaxed, friendly and normalish dude. Looking to meet interesting people for a share house or apartment in or around the city and to join a long term lease. Currently doing a PhD in science / engineering and working part time as a cook at the pancake parlor. Enjoy a beer some music or to play games in my spare time.
I'm a University of Melboune PhD student looking for something closer to uni so I can focus on my passion for sleeping in. The PhD money isn't a lot but it's more than enough to cover the bills and its secure for the next three years. I like live music, singing and dancing (objectively bad at both), cocktails, board games, beer, film and tv, naps, and hummus. The main thing I'm looking for is cool, laid back housemates that I can get along with, have a beer or three and hang out with, share the occasional meal etc. I like to keep to myself and do my own thing sometimes but generally I love being social, although I'm typically pretty quiet and introverted until you get to know me. Also I'm hella gay. (That's a lie I'm just regular gay). I could also bring (or not bring) a couch, table and chairs, and a tumble dryer that's like 6 star energy efficiency so it's pretty cheap to run.
Lovely, modern apartment available in boutique block just moment away from all the amenities of Racecourse Road, Flemington and a short walk from Kensington's main strip. This apartment is on the ground floor of the triple storey building. It has a balcony, decent sized kitchen and living area. Bedrooms are big enough for a double bed and have built in robes. The room for rent is 2.8m by 3.1m and has a small window. Split system air con included. The apartment is fully furnished except the room available to rent (not the furniture in the photos as I move into the place in January). If you don't have your own furniture for the room, let me know and I may be able to help you out. It includes a parking permit to park right out the front. Not that you'll need your car: - Trams to highpoint and the city right around the corner. - Walk to Newmarket station in 2 minutes (10 minutes to the CBD or 2 stops to lovely Moonee Ponds) - Walk to Flemington Bridge station to get to Brunswick in 2 stops - Catch the nearby bus to Melbourne University or Lygon Street Can walk to Maribyrnong River or Princes Park; or lie around in the sun at one of the nearby pocket parks. If you have a bike you can store it in the underground car park. The location is just south of Racecourse Road. I'm not sure why on the map below it shows the property as being to the north. Internet is included in the price. Remaining bills are to be split in half and paid on time. Four weeks rent bond and four weeks notice required if you decide to vacate.
I'm a very social, bubbly person and love meeting new people. I grew up in Country Victoria but have always loved the city. I'm great to live with because I'm easy going and always up for fun but always responsible and lead a healthy lifestyle. I work full time in a gym and I'm also a dancer so I am fairly busy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends/family, going on road trips, going to the beach etc. If there's anything else you want to know about me, just ask :)
British working trainee looking for a room around Melbourne whilst i study, gain experience and work within the Plumbing sector. Looking for neat and tidy shared Studios, Households and Flats to join or to rent private. I am an avid Gamer and Techie being so i spend a decent amount of time enjoying my hobbies so similar people are always welcomed although anyone friendly and nice to get on with is just as good, I am a quiet person but can also join in on community or group activities happily. I would prefer to be in a house without smokers (I do not smoke myself) and although i love animals/pets (My family currently owns 3 German shepherds and a Boxer) i would rather not share living accommodations with any bigger animals while living in a smaller/shared space. I will be moving on the 27th of December so i will need the accommodation on the 28th. Thanks for reading.

I am very neat and tidy and I'm always on time with paying bills and rent. I look forward to hearing from you :D
