Hey my name is Jamie, currently studying tourism full time and working as a barista weekends. I am neat, friendly, quiet and vegetarian. In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, watch sci fi and anime and go out for brunch :) I am looking for like-minded housemates who like to spend time with each other like a little family. Being clean is a must 🙂
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.

Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
Hey there, I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to do my postgrad at Uni of Melb in January 2017. I consider myself a pretty tidy and organised person, who loves cooking and socialising but definitely respects other people's privacy. I would love to live with others who are outgoing and sociable, and of similar age to me.
Hi! I'm currently studying my last few months of Master of Engineering Management at Melbourne uni. I did my undergrad at UQ (Brisbane) and graduated in 2013. I'm a 25 y/o Australian permanent resident, originally from Indonesia. I need to move out from my current place on 31st December at the latest, so I would prefer to move in to a new place 1-2 weeks before that. I've lived in a college and a sharehouse before, so I'm not a stranger to communal living. I'm clean and responsible. You won't find me leaving dirty dishes in the sink for more than 10 minutes. My hobbies: trying out new restaurants, going out for drinks, playing video games, watching soccer/football, napping, and fiddling with audio gear. I'm an "extroverted introvert", which means I enjoy others' company but sometimes I just want to do my own thing. I'm currently looking for a place that's easily accessible by public transport. Budget around $150-$250 (still flexible). Please shoot me a message!

I am originally from east gippsland and I moved to Melbourne for uni, where i spent my first year in a two bedroom apartment with a friend, and my second year in a five person sharehouse. I always pay rent and bills, as they are my first priority with money, and I'm always up for making friends and doing fun housemate stuff, but I'm also perfectly content to keep to myself if that's what you're looking for. :) I'm also fairly easy going and reasonably tidy. I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.

Hey!! I lived in melbourne for 15 months and fell in love not just with the city! came back to London got a brilliant job working for the coolest company who have agreed to let me work in their office in southback for a month!! just need to find the perfect house :)
We are a lovely couple from overseas. We are mature students (will be study PhD at the University of Melbourne), have no kid and don’t have any plan to have one soon. Mostly spend most of the daytime at the Uni and work part-time occasionally. We are looking for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms in a shared flat/house, and looking for another couple to team up. As the budget suggests, we're looking a bit moderate to high standards accommodation and also a respectful couple to be shared with. We are easy-going and love to go out to explore the city with friends/flatmates. We enjoy travelling / watching films-tv / music / dinner with friends during the weekends. We are clean, tidy and organised, always clean after ourselves or even clean the share space.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
Hi. My name is Chelsea. Unfortunately my house mate has moved back to Adelaide to look after her dad so I have the master bedroom available in my Kensington town house. It has a large walk in robe which also has a private entrance to the bathroom. The house has free parking in the centre strip between the two house rows, as well as heaps around the side streets. We are also 800m away from the south Kensington train station and 300m away from the bus stop. There's heaps of amazing walks around the house and were quite close to the stockmans trail which is a beautiful walk. The house has Netflix on the big TV downstairs and unlimited adsl wifi which is $30 each a month. Other bills are split as they come in. The house is fully furnished, but we can always make room for more, and we have the garage which we use as storage if you need the extra room. The bedroom measures 3.4 x 3.9m and the walk in robe is 1.9 x 2.1m The house has central heating and reverse cycles in the bedrooms. The room comes with a queen bed and desk (which can be purchased for $250 if you would like to buy them off my old house mate) or the room can be empty, which ever you prefer. I also have a kitten named Satine, who is super friendly and loves cuddles and pats, but is 100% looked after by me so don't stress about anyone constantly asking you to look after her. air con
I am a friendly, open guy who is always looking for the bright sight of life. I have 5 years of experience in sharing a flat and I really enjoy it. I am coming from Germany for a research stay to the University of Melbourne. In particular I am doing cybernetics which is pretty much control engineering. I will stay here for approx. 3 month. As I am pretty much into travelling I want to take the chance and explore more parts of Australia afterwards. In my freetime I am always up for sports and I enjoy to try new things! I especially like to play volleyball, football, tennis, swimming. Moreover I like to go to bars and live music. A must do on my bucket list for Australia is to learn surfing! I am looking forward to a chat in real. Cheers, Felix
Hey all! I am going to Japan over the holidays and I am in need of someone to stay in my room while I am gone. The move in and move out dates are somewhat flexible if you give me enough notice, but essentially the stay will be from the end of November/start of December until mid-February. Most suited to an interstate student doing vacation work in Melbourne, or anyone working in the city over summer. The place has a great view of the city and it's really pretty at night when all the lights come on. The Melbourne Eye looks amazing from here. The terrace is quite big for the location, and it overlooks a park. The public transport around here is fantastic. The apartment is within walking distance of 2 train stations (one is a four minute walk and the other one is a ten minute walk) that take you straight to the CBD in no time. There is also a bus stop at the end of the street for the 402 bus. There is a gym at the end of the street that offers non-lock in contracts and only costs around $15 per week. The place has unlimited internet and the whole apartment will be fully furnished for your stay, I'll be leaving my bed which is a double bed and a desk if you need it. The desk can be moved out of the room if you don't need it. Otherwise you really don't need to bring anything as the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all furnished. Also, if you don't need the parking space we can negotiate to lower the rent a little bit.
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
Looking to start a share house that feels like home, close to the CBD and public transport with plenty of space. I am fairly easy going and tidy. I like to have a glass of wine in the evenings but am usually off doing something like drawing, rock climbing or catching up with friends. As I'm very creative, a space that could be used as a study (even a garage) is important. Hoping to find people that like to hang out sometimes and are respectfully clean. I have all the furniture and things needed to set up a house. Flexible on location and move date.
I am moving out of this beautiful home in Kensington at the end of October so I'm looking for my replacement! Move in date is anytime from 1st November. It is a huge (unfurnished) bedroom in a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom townhouse. The rest of the house is fully furnished. In the 2 years I've lived here, I haven't had to buy anything except my bedroom furniture. We have a courtyard, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, and plenty of free car parking outside the house, so the garage is used for storage for everyone and we have an extra fridge too. It is currently an all female flat, with 3 of us currently here, but me and a girl in another room are moving out the same weekend. We are open to couples that are interested in looking at my room as it is definitely big enough for a couple. Friends/boyfriends are welcome occasionally, but definitely not a party house. My housemate has an adorable shih-tzu/poodle mix breed dog who is great company, and hypo-allergenic, and doesn't shed fur, and she never comes upstairs to the bedrooms. So you would have to be dog friendly :) It's a 7 minute walk to South Kensington station (Werribee/Williamstown line) and 10 min walk to Kensington station (Craigieburn line). 2 train stops away from the CBD, or a 4km walk into the city which I've done plenty of times. There are lots of well maintained parklands in the suburb with free BBQ spots and running/cycling tracks, and a 24hr hungry jacks, IGA and shell petrol station is only a few streets away. Walking distance to Flemington racecourse, Coles, lots of restaurants (Laksa king!) and the Showgrounds. Rent is $940 pcm (excluding bills and Internet) paid at the beginning of the month, and bond is $700. We are looking for someone who will commit to staying a minimum of 6 months. Feel free to contact me if interested!
