Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
Hi I'm Michelle! I'm a friendly, sociable person who enjoys spending time with housemates (inside or outside the home) but also lead a pretty active life & am happy to do my own thing. I'm easygoing, clean & respectful & desire a harmonious house with great people. I also appreciate furry animal friends if they're around too. I like to cook, spend time in nature and love travel & anything creative. I'm a writer who just completed post-grad studies in Public Relations :) I'm also flexible on a move in date if it's a little earlier.
Hi potential roomies! I have a spare room in a big 2 bedroom house in Kensington. Floorboards, big rooms with BIRs & ceiling fans, big lounge, separate kitchen. Separate laundry & toilet, bathroom with separate shower & bath. Heating/aircon and a backyard. It's 3km from town and in between 2 train lines, walking distance to shops. I have nice modern furniture, you just need bedroom furniture however there's an option to purchase bed from current roomie. I also have an adorable 9yo spoodle (hyperallergic) who is super cool and likes to be the big spoon ☺️
I am very responsible and abide by the house rules happily. I've just moved from the Gold Coast where I spent 6 months in the same house without ever having caused problems to neither any of the tenants nor the landlady. One of my few specifications is that it has all the bills and internet included in the rent.
The house is brand-new, fully furnished, fully equipped kitchen. We have large windows for natural sunlight for a whole day!. We also have a little courtyard out the back which is a good space in the summer. House location: Everything within walking distance. There is also Bus 402 direct to Melbourne Uni or Royal Melbourne Hospital just in front of our house. 3 mins walk to either Kensington station or South Kensington. 5 mins to CBD by train. 15 mins to CBD by bike. A room has opened up in our sunny home in Kensington. Our home is very spacious. There is a big open kitchen and dining/entertaining area, good sized living room, a bath in the bathroom with a separate shower. Toilet has its own 4 walls. Floorboards throughout. Front verandah and back deck. A tidy shed in the yard. Pets considered. Wonderful location - between Kensington and Macaulay Station (only 4 min walk to each). 10 minute stroll to South Kensington Station. 2 minute walk to the bus stop! Down the road from Kensington Village where there are lots of great cafes/restaurants/Foodworks. It's a beautiful home on a very nice and quiet street. The room has great storage - a wall full of built-ins and is a good size. You'll be living with two friendly gals, Rachael (Local Government Officer) and Jade (Nurse). We're a pretty chill house but nice and social. $795 per month, not including bills. Sorry about the Real Estate Agent photos, we have a house full of lovely furniture now with lots of plants! I am Julie, a French student who's going to study at RMIT University next February. I am a quiet person, really friendly and always up to do something. I've never lived with roommates but in France I used to live alone so I am used to clean everything and to do the chores. I am ok to live with both of the genders and animals too. About me, I like to practice sport, I would like to find a gym in Australia. I also like to cook and I would be super happy to show you some French dishes!

Best regards from Germany, Chiara
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Originating from Brisbane I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover (with no pets) house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Currently working in fire prevention (Mon-Fri) while looking to further within the industry. I am always down for a hang and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Otherwise good luck with the hunt!

Hello! My name is Hadrien, I'm a Franco-American architecture student moving from Vancouver to Melbourne for a study abroad term! I'm very friendly and responsible, will most likely be working quite a bit but always open to having a good time. I can definitely understand wanting privacy as well and will respect that fully. I'll be new to the city so will be exploring it as much as possible!
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Hi! My name is Alec. I'm sociable but I'm not looking for a party house. I'm also super clean, tidy and reliable financially. I work in the health industry 4 days p/wk & I'm also doing postgraduate studies @ VU. Sound good? Then please do not hesitate to msg me, and I will respond as soon as I am able to. Thank You...
I'm a tidy person, laid back, enjoy to cook. I like to be living in a homely sort of place where the flatmates all know each other, maybe have the occasional get together. I'm from Queenstown, New Zealand and love to get out and about to go for excursions.
Hi, we have a medium room for rent in a modern, double story Townhouse. This room is fully furnished and has it's own private balcony. The house has a separate lounge room, modern kitchen and a dining room that opens onto a cosy, sunny courtyard. There are floorboards and carpeted bedrooms throughout. We have gas ducted heating and portable air-conditioning. There is also an internal laundry, garage for extra storage and a large, shared bathroom. It's a 10 minute walk to Kensington village with a lot of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. There are two train stations within 5-10 minute walk and a bus stop within a 2 minute walk. We are situated less than 5km from the City, and there is free on-street parking. The rent is $717 per month, with a Bond of $717. Bills are approximately $150 per month. This includes internet, gas, electricity, water, basic amenities and also includes a fortnightly cleaner.
hey, my names Brenden i'm currently in a share house in Heidelberg west with a few other friends who i have now lived with for about two years. Looking for somewhere preferably closer to uni which is in Footscray, i also currently have a part time job at woolworths so will be able to meet rent requirements pretty easily. At the moment i'm trying to get experience in sports training, also a fairly easy person to live with and am not really bothered by much.
Very tidy & respectful. Not afraid to fire up the vacuum or wipe down the benchtops on a regular basis. I like to have a good relationship with any housemates, but also happy to spend a fair bit of time in my room working on the laptop, watching tv, etc. I like to have a drink or two, but definitely not looking for a party house. Just a generally friendly dude, from the US originally. I like NBA & AFL, cars, books, creating stuff, getting (back) into shape. Hmm...what else. I'm in website & digital marketing sales. Sometimes work from home, so good internet is important. That's about it!
