We have a bedroom available in a big, nice old house in an excellent location close to the city. Decent set of shops, cafes and restaurants are a minute's walk down the street and the park and rec centre are 5 minutes walk away. Kensington station is less than 2 minutes walk from us, its one station away from the city loop. We also have a spare parking permit if you drive. The room itself is 3.5 metres by 3.5 metres with a built in wardrobe. The house has heating throughout, a washing machine, dryer, and unlimited internet, among other things. I share the house with Brandon, he just moved into the other room. We are both working and in our mid twenties. I have an outdoor cat too. We are looking for someone reliable, independent, and chill.
The house is brand-new, fully furnished with modern furnitures. Design brand chair and fully equipped kitchen. We have large windows for natural sunlight for a whole day!. We also have a little courtyard out the back which is a good space in the summer. House location: Everything within walking distance. We are 5 mins walk from MYCA Kensington, a large park great for running. There is also Bus 402 direct to Melbourne Uni or Royal Melbourne Hospital just in front of our house. 3 mins walk to either Kensington station or South Kensington. 5 mins to CBD by train. 15 mins to CBD by bike. We are 3min from main street with many local coffee shops where I get my coffee every morning! Master bedroom 255 per week Room is fully furnished, come with a built in wardrobe, en suite bathroom, a balcony that allows a plenty of natural light into the room. Parking space available. Suitable for professional who want long term stay.
I've recently moved back to Melbourne from Europe, and looking to meet new people in this great city! I'm an ICT professional working full time in the CBD. I'm social, relaxed, a travel-holic and love cooking, dancing, watching films/TV, listening to all kinds of music and getting outdoors as much as possible! Ideally would like a mixed house of 3-4 people. Move in date after 1 August, but happy to discuss for the right place. Looking for an unfurnished room, no smoking, and good public transport links. Feel free to contact me if you have a room I might like, and a house you think I would fit into well. I look forward to hearing from you!
Excellent location if you depend on public transport. The house is located within walking distance to two train stations (Kensington and South Kensington), and a bus that brings you right to Melbourne Uni and the Royal Melbourne Hospital on Grattan Street. The room is big enough to fit a double bed and a desk as can be seen in the photos. Spacious living area downstairs. Gas stove and oven available. The bathroom will be shared with one other person. Our housemate will be moving out due to having bought his own place (lucky bastard). And he will be taking all the furniture with him, so the room itself and the lounge area will be unfurnished. We will probably share to get some basic lounge furniture or if you have some to bring with you that would be great. No pets, no smokers and bills split 3 ways. The official move in date is 15 July but can be earlier (but not later).
Hey my name is Christiaan, fulltime flighty looking for a new rental, I currently live in the Maribyrnong area however wanting to find a new share house. Shift work industry so won't be home all of the time (stupid hours when I am home) interested in moving into a nice place thats not too far out of the area I currently live preferably with max 3 housemates. Conservative with Power, personal space and of course always considerate of others (6 years of renting does that to you).....looking for the same. I'm clean/neat and tidy, non-smoker (don't care if you do) friendly, outgoing and approachable. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all. Many thanks !
I am a beautiful, warm-hearted and friendly young lady from Zambia. I just completed my studies at the University of Melbourne and currently working part time on weekdays and every weekend. I am very easy going, tidy and clean. I highly respect other people's property. And I am not a party animal. Enjoy travelling thus am hardly ever at home. Very responsible and believe that sharing a house is made much easier when bills are paid in time.
Hello, FlatMatties! I am doing my bachelors from La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and working part time at Collins street. Have lived in room and flat shares before so I know the etiquettes of share houses. I am a decent jolly guy who will always try to understand your situation and deal you accordingly. I am mostly out for work or studies and just come back in the night. I am a pretty much welcoming guy and love to meet people from diffrent cultures. I like to party once a while or go out on weekend to beaches or maybe exploring the city but don't worry if the house vibe is not party like I will respect other people's comfort. I would love to meet people who like to have a conversation or a drink once in a while but at the same time can give me some alone time. I am looking somewhere either in the CBD, Southbank, Docklands and Carlton or I will be willing to move to suburbs on tram 86 route area or any surrounding suburbs from where the commute time to city is 10-20 minutes. I am more than willing to rent out a place of our own and start a share house with like minded people. I am actually looking for long term place but my lease at current place will expire on 13th June
Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. Currently I am staying about an hour away from uni. The commute is taking up a lot of my time and also stopping me from attending quite a few activities at the uni. So I am looking to move to a place closer to uni. ideally within 20 mins of the uni by bike. Move date would be sometime during the month long semester break which starts towards the end of June. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but I am hoping to win the war someday.
