My partner Shannon & I will be looking to find a 3 bedroom home to rent & are looking 1 a housemate to join us in our search. We will keep the 3rd bedroom as a spare & plan to furnish the home with our belongings but are open to what you may have to offer for the home. Expected budget for house mate $200-250. We are currently looking for a housemate who can have a chat, a laugh & share the occasional catch up when we are all in the home. Also a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy & someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. Rachael is an intern psychologist and Shannon a construction site manager. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hassle to live with. We enjoy going to gym, cafes, markets & the occasional night out or just relaxing. Rachael works FT long days. Shannon also works 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week & is often out of town every second weekend. We lead a fairly busy lifestyle between work, gym and our family/friends living out of town but do enjoy a chat and a laugh when we are in the home. If you would like to know any more please send me an email, text or call.

Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 20 minute commute to my school. Also, I prefer a private bedroom with it's own washroom (ensuite preferred). I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy rollerblading and going for walks/hikes.
Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. On my free time I like to do a bit of cooking, working out in the gym, and mashing some yummy brunch into my face. When the weather isn't too cold, I like to sunbake at the beach.
We got a room for rent in a lovely brick walled double story townhouse in Kensington. The place is about 2 minutes walk from the Kensington Train Station, 6 minute walk to the #57 tram and 4 minute walk to the Kensington main strip with a great selection of cafés like Premises and Fruits of Passion. The room is unfurnished but the house has about everything although Naz (our lovely housemate that's moving out) is leaving with her pot plants, charm and good vibes, so you earn points if you some of that nice positive energy about you and can bring some green into our life :). You'll be sharing with myself (Oyem) and Aaron, we like keep the house nice and tidy but we're not OCDC. We value respect, empathy and hope to find someone who is the same. I have a tech/creative background and work in a run digital product agency. I tend to leave the house early for gym/yoga and back in late in the evening. I'm easy and hoping to find someone positive, mature, with good energy, is employed, can pay the bills, non-smoker, is looking for a place for at least a 3 month commitment and most important is an all round good person (partial to having a female share with us). The room is officially available anytime before 10th December. Sounds like somewhere you'd like to live? Give me a bell outside of work hours preferably and come check the place out. Look forward to hearing from you, have a good one :)Backyard Dishwasher Washing Machine Huge Backyard with a garden
I'm a great sociable housemate. I can have a high energy or a very calming influence! A hairdresser by trade. Love to explore place I am living, or also relax and soak up the vibe. Clean and caring, i want to live in a nice environment !
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
I am studying veterinary medicine (post grad) at the university of Melbourne (will be starting my 3rd year in February). Am easy going and always up for a distraction from studying. Also love to play soccer, very active in general. Tidy and clean and don't mind pitching in with chores. I am Swiss/Canadian, and have traveled a fair amount, so I'm am good at adapting to new situations and people :) I have been living in dorms and with flat mates for the last few years so am used to living with other people and good at giving people space when they need it and know how to be respectful in communal living situations Looking for a place along the Werribee train line, not too far from the city, preferably in Kensington

We look forward to meeting with you. Street Parking Heating Cooling Built in wardrobe North facing, sunny room
I am a bright and charismatic 25 year old, music and movie nerd, working as a cleaner for myself and for a company so rent and bills will not be a problem. What I like to do outside of work, I enjoy listening to some Pink Floyd, Bowie or Zepp (yes this is all stoner music but I am not a stoner I can assure you), playing keyboards and sketching and because it's now that time of the year you will find me going for crazy walks or runs just in time for summer. I like to read, sing, play music, cook, draw and paint and learn about almost anything and very passionate about life. Weekends I enjoy a night outs at gigs or bars generally in Fitzroy and Brunswick, where else? I am very respectable of people's privacy/me time and I am not a loud nor a messy person. My occupation is a cleaner so I like to keep my areas neat and tidy. I do enjoy spending time by myself when I've has a big day at work but I can assure you I'd be one fun housemate! I do like to play music a lot but will happily respect the household if they do not wish for me to play music all the time. I am looking for a mix gender or males, warm, clean home with kind people and vibrant personalities and who's up to have a drink at the end of the week and a hang out. In terms of kind, friendly, neat and everyday motivated and outgoing, I am that person. I hope my description of myself is promising. Many regards :D
Hi there! I'm a student looking for somewhere to live next year whilst I study a Bachelor of Environments at Melbourne university, majoring in Architecture and Urban Planning & Design. I both work and study, so you can rely on me to be committed to monthly rent payments. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, reading, drawing things that aren't buildings and cities, and playing my guitar (acoustic, don't worry!). Ideally would like to move in before the commencement of the 2017 study year (just before the beginning of March) , and stay until the conclusion of my exams, however am flexible on the length of stay beyond 9 months. If you have something that you think would meet this criteria, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Laura
Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.

Hey, I'm Jane - I'm returning to Melbourne from 8 months travelling through Central and South America. Loving it - but have to return to reality eventually! I work full time in the city and study a masters part time at RMIT. I enjoy yoga, jogging, good coffee, mixed netball, trips to the beach and having a beer with friends. I'm friendly, respectful, clean and tidy and enjoy a quiet house during the week but love socializing on the weekends! I visit my family out in the country every few weekends. I have been living in share houses for the past 5 or so I know the drill with keeping common spaces clean and being a good housemate :) Feel free to be in contact if you have a room for me!
I'm looking to secure an arrangement WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I'm an American student attending San Francisco State University. My partner will be studying abroad at Uni Melbourne and I've come across a great opportunity to go with her. We'll need to move into a place at the end of January / beginning of February. I would describe us as studious and low key, though we do make sure we're getting out and having fun. I'm majoring in technical and professional writing and would continue my studies during my stay in Melbourne (fortunately all my classes are online). I also plan to work part-time during my stay. My partner will be busy with her studies at the university. We're in a hurry to find a place IMMEDIATELY to move into at the end of January/beginning of February!
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, my most recent job being in front of house at the Cirque du Soleil show Amaluna while it was showing in Manchester. Cirque du Soleil is also the reason I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. As the show Kooza is in Australia at the moment and will be showing in Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse from mid January until mid March. So I'm in search for accomodation from around the 6th of January until around the 16th of March. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
Hi, I'm Indy I'm going to be doing a Diploma of Music Theatre at Ministry Of Dance so I'm looking for somewhere to stay while doing it :) I LOVE musicals and fitness and I'm energetic sometimes but I also love to relax and watch movies. I'm respectful of other peoples space and opinions and I'm also a tidy person. I'm looking to move into a house/apartment which isn't too far from the dance school and look forward to meeting you
It has three large ground floor bedrooms with built in robes and one extra large, second storey bedroom with heaps of floor space, large windows and an adjoining wardrobe/study. Downstairs there is a large open plan living area that adjoins dining areas to the kitchen and living room. This opens onto a shady, bricked courtyard via large vertical glass doors – so the feel is super open. But there is a door that can close off the living area from the downstairs bedrooms for privacy. There is a laundry and a bathroom separate from the toilet. The front of the house has plenty of shade and there is lots of free on street parking. The house is also a short walk from shopping, train stations and the commercial strip down on Macaulay Rd. There is a supermarket and great restaurants nearby too.

Hey there, my name is Ligi, a 22 yrs old Taiwanese girl, me and my friend are looking for a private room in a lovely house. We both are really really really clean and tidy, and will be really respectful. We love to have a drink sometimes after finishing the work, or hanging out to somewhere and we love having some fun outside also, like camping. As me, I am now working in a hospitality company which always hold fantastic events, and for my friend, she works for Melbourne official festival event. Please contact me if there's any private room for 2 girls to stay. Thanks!
Please note, while this is a "share" I will be away most of the time. Hi, I have a furnished room available for medium-term (3-12 months) accommodation in Kensington, from mid-February. Kensington has a village feel and is only a few kms to the CBD, Melbourne University, Victoria University and Flemington racecourse. There are great public transport options and you can use my bike. I will be away for most of the time so it will be like having an apartment to yourself. The rent includes wifi and some bills. The apartment is bright and has a small balcony (on the 3rd floor - no lift). The room is a good size with built in robe and a queen size bed. I have an ensuite so the main bathroom will be for you. It includes a laundry cupboard with washing machine. There is a garage. Only 7 mins walk to either Kensington or South Kensington train stations or 12 mins walk to the 57 tram. A few mins walk to the main street of Kensington with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. I'm looking for a clean and tidy, considerate, responsible, friendly person. Must respect other people's property. Definitely no smokers. Would suit visiting academic or someone on sabbatical. If you are a visitor to Melbourne or newly arrived I'd be happy to show you around a bit when I'm in the country. I am a single, late-30s professional. No kids. I like good food and wine. I like to keep fit. I'm pretty easy going.
I'm a 25 year professional working in the AFL industry, who is looking for a place around the inner Essendon area. I enjoy keeping fit, going out for a social drink and just chilling out wth mates. Feel free to contact me if you believe you have a room that might be of interest. Cheers, AJ
