I have a positive outlook and I'm easy to get along with. I love to connect with people but also like time to myself. I'm a part-time Student welfare worker. Things I like: Nature, Yoga, Chi Gong, Gardening, good food, outings, travelling, children, photography, self-development. and did I mention FUN?
Hey! I am a professional who works in business and finance full time. I am also currently studying a chartered program. I am an easy going guy who doesn't mind doing his own thing, but I am always up for socialising and hanging out - be it chilling at home watching TV or adventures elsewhere! I have experience with living with others and keep a clean room and house. I am more than happy to chip in with cleaning and any maintenance the house requires. Let me know if you are happy to have a meet up! Cheers.
Another returning novocastrian after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself and fairly quiet but always happy for a chat over a beer or cuppa, not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a nerd so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is also pretty chilled, rarely barks, is fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. Financially, I am currently only doing irregular work for a friend until I can secure a place to live and get established but I receive benefits to assist and am eligible for rent assistance in the short term. I usually work in retail alcohol both digital and store front or pouring beers.
My names Matt I’m 30 I am a full time worker in the mining industry. I am easy going, clean and a fun guy that doesn't mind a good time or a chat. I don’t mind eating out and having a few beers on a weekend.... I can respect people's privacy and alone time. I will be out about most weekends with mates or work. I am happy for long or short term stays. I have a 6 yr old son who lives in Newcastle who I have every second weekend. I will normally stay at my mums house with him or go away for the weekend.
Off street parking, all inclusive rent, unlimited internet, super private space, ensuite. All within steps to Westfield Kotara and bus stops to every direction. Right across the road from back entrance to Westfield Shopping centre; restaurants, shopping and cinemas are within 50m. Bus stops to city and Charlestown way right outside the door. Parking off street. Super big and awesome house with a great relaxed vibe. You would be renting the bottom floor room which is separate to the upstairs house space where I live. Ensuite bathroom. Built ins, and fully furnished, but you're welcome to bring your own bed if you like. Kitchen is upstairs so would be shared. I have a 10 and 7yr old who are both at school and are only here every second week. Both are used to living with others in the house and are super respectful of guests/roommates. I'm super health conscious, teach yoga, and am a super open and fun chick. Big backyard with hammock for chilling in. No smokers or couples. Prefer someone who likes their own space. Internal lock on the door to your space. Great shower, toilet, big private space to yourself to chill/sleep/whatever. Upstairs is lounge room/kitchen/balcony/backyard etc. Unlimited NBN internet, other utilities included in rent.
Looking for a place that feels like home. Friendly, outgoing and interested in making new friends, and exploring new places, at the same time prefer my own privacy. Clean, neat and tidy person and would like the house members to be respectful and clean up after use of the common facilities. Full-time student, therefore wouldn't prefer a party house.
Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
We are full time students from Sydney who have completed a degree and now doing further studies at the University of Newcastle. Therefore, we are looking to rent a property, preferably long term, that is nice and quiet. We are respectful of people, clean, mature, responsible and organised. We would love to share a home with someone who is friendly and easy going like ourselves.
Easy-going going and open-minded. Happy with my own company and interests but like to have a chat and learn about others. I believe in equality / equity and am happy to pitch in and make a healthy and enjoyable home for us all
I'm a bartender, so I have decent banter, and a thick skin. Can cook a solid meal, but also know how to clean up after myself. I like the gym, my motorbike, netflix, wine and cheese. Situations like these I can be shy at first, but well, you will know when I'm out of my shell! P.S my profile picture I am blonde, although I have recently (this week) changed to a brunette!
hello! this is Mona! I like to meet new people and make new friend! I'm friendly and kind, always excited and positive! Also, I do care about cleaning! I'm looking for a friendly housemate as a friend and team and clean house as place to relax and rest.
Hi im Latoya, I am 24 years old and live with my fiance Kieren (27) who I have been with for almost 6 years. We are moving to Newcastle late Jan/early Feb and want to stay in a share house. We are both respectful of others privacy and quiet. We are both down to earth and happy for a good chat at any point. We are happy for any stay length. Please contact me if you have a place and are looking for flatmates like us.
Hi! Just looking for somewhere nice to relocate to. I work in Sydney 3-4 days a week so would love to be close to a train station, but am flexible. I am very friendly, quiet and like to keep things clean :) Unfurnished rooms only.
Hello, my names Melanie. I’ve just turned 20 and I’m so ready to leave the small rural town I’ve called home for my whole life. Im working perm part time in Mudgee atm (like 3 1/2 hrs away from Newcastle) but Im keen to move into the Newcastle area, get a job and soon, down the track become a student at Tafe. I’m supa easy to get along with, love to have a laugh, I’m clean and so easy going. Any and every festival are my go to for fun, I also enjoy art and singing. Alone time is a must but I’m also always up for a chat.
Just looking for a place to stay, beginning with 4-6months with the possibility to stay longer anywhere in Newcastle. I have a 5month old indoor kitten who is very well trained. I love going to the beach, adventuring and watching movies. I don't mind going out on weekends and having a few drinks. I coach gymnastics every afternoon and Saturday mornings
G'day, my name is Jasper. I'm 22 getting closer to 23 quicker than I would like. I came over to Lake Maquarie nearly 5 months ago from Western Australia and have been living with a friend's family since then. I've been working full time since I got here and now I'm looking to get a bit closer to the City! I work long hours as a salesperson, and spend as much time as I can manage nose deep in a book or looking for a new place to go exploring (and cracking disputably funny dad jokes). I'm fairly fit and do my best to stay that way, but a cheeky beverage or two never goes astray. I'm an outgoing guy and easy to get along with. I've lived in share houses on the west coast, so I definitely understand how important personal space As fun as it is travelling around the countryside, Newcastle is definitely where I'm keen to live for a while with like minded people!
Hey there, my name is Ethan, me and my housemate Lucy are looking for a compatible roomate to get along with and help share the burden of rent. So i'll just say a little bit about us two and how we like to run our household and if it sounds appealing message us. Lucy came over here from Perth to play soccer professionally and she is one of the best things that will come into your life should you be lucky enough to have her. She is very relaxed, likes time to herself and keeps our apartment clean as fuck. She is very honest much like myself, which is great because problems we encounter together get solved quickly and without ill feelings, which means for you, you can address your opinion or concern without either of us scolding you, its vice versa. She is respectful and very caring though, being so far away from home I am her brother, and as a result anyone else she will share a house with will most likely become family too. She would love a chill person who will get along with our humour and style, and you can expect all of these qualities I've described her with in return. There's not much to say about myself, but i'll try pretend that i'm a someone. I've been told I am quite feminine for a straight dude many many times, I don’t know what that adds but there you go... I guess im usually the louder one in the house, as I am very social and like to catch up with friends and have a few drinks every weekend. I have a quiet side though and do like to laze around in the house playing games and watching movies. I am very understanding and id like to say I don’t have a malicious bone in my body. I love to relax and keep the house on a level where judgement is at a 0, I don’t walk around the house naked but that’s about the level I strive to make it, where you can if you really want to. I do not judge people at all beyond my humour, you can be who you want however you desire in your own damn house, as that is how it should be in a healthy loving home. If you moved in with us you would be a part of our lives, no one wants to live with a stranger, obviously you will have your own life without disturbance but I would like a person that adds to the feeling of a home, as I haven't had that in a very long time. Here are some good things about living with us overall. This Christmas will be lit as fuck, as I have thousands of dollars worth of Christmas lights, I love Christmas, yes im aware its February but im still excited … Most if not all of the essentials we already posses, as me and Lucy have lived out of home for quite some time so you should only need to bring your room with you, but if you want to create character you can help decorate the house too, you can bring your friends over if you get lonely whenever, family can visit, you can warm the bed if you feel you need to some nights, whatever you do in your room, as long as it is legal and respectful we will never hold you against, we are only 18 and 19, and as childish as I am, I know its time to be adults now, and being an adult means you can be your own. For as long as you live with us, you will have your own slice of life, with us both backing you up and staying loyal beyond your choices and paths. We both pull our own weight with chores, rent and bills. Our lease in this apartment ends March 8, and then we will be moving to a 3 bedroom house within the affordable areas of 400-450 a week rent. If this screams you, please contact me and we can organise an interview where you can inspect how we live, and we can see how you are in person. Thanks
Hey there! I'm a second year physiotherapy student looking to move closer to university. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, love sport, and keep good care of my personal belongings. I don't smoke or leave a mess, and always clean up after myself. I'm super easy going and spend the majority of my time studying, working, and playing sport.
Hey guys! I currently live in a share house in Belmont but am looking for somewhere a little closer to the beaches and town. I'm super easy to get along with! I'm very social, love going out and about with friends for lunches or some drinks on the weekend, but I also love my down time too.
