I don't drink or smoke or anything. I like cooking though I'm kinda mediocre at it. This is my first time moving out so I'm not too sure what to expect. I'm looking for an apartment, rather than a house. I don't have a car but rely mostly on my bike and public transport. I'm generally easy going and in a good mood. I am focused on my work and studies; however outside of these commitments, my hobbies include cooking, volleyball, yoga, running/agility with my Lucy and gardening. Close to Perth CBD is an absolute winner. I need dog friendly housemates and a good yard. My dog, Lucy, is my companion and it's an absolute given that she will be coming with me where ever I move. As a german shorthaired pointer x staff x curly retriever, she does shed a bit in the summer, but not heavily- I have a great vacuum. She is very well house trained, socialised and is full of love, flops and has many tricks she loves to show off in exchange for things she wants. (She has a full grasp of currency and exchange, don't be fooled by her cuteness.) She's an indoor dog, has her own winter wardrobe and generally functions as a polite member of the household. She's quiet, only really vocalises during general conversations and when it's dinner/bedtime- never joins in on the neighborhood 'twilight bark', and only ever rumbles her grumbles when there's an unwelcome intruder or she perceives genuine danger. Other than art, I also enjoy cooking, learning foreign languages, photography, and travelling. Although I'm relatively quiet and keep to myself, I also enjoy socialising when the occasion arises. I am 29 year old, single, female. I moved back to Perth a month ago, after living in Kalgoorlie for 4 years. I work as a Credit Controller in Burswood, and am also studying Accounting part-time/online through Curtin. I have my licence, and a 2004 Ford Focus. I’m looking for a room for rent because I’m currently living with my brother and his gf in Shoalwater and driving to Burswood every day is getting tiresome quickly lol. Plus, although I do enjoy my “me time” - I do prefer to live with others and meet new people 😊 I also have a 4 year old rescue dog named Alfie, who as a result of his treatment as a puppy can be very shy and anxious when meeting new people. Howerver, it doesn’t take long for him to come out of his shell and he’s found a new best friend. He’s very protective, which makes him a great guard dog (which also makes my mum happy knowing he keeps me safe, haha). He’s well trained, and doesn’t dig holes: as he prefers chewing his toys or sunbaking, haha. If required, I can provide rental references to cover myself and Alfie, and also a reference from some dog-sitters who looked after him while I was in Europe for 2 months. I also have a police clearance less 12 months old.
