I am a full-time high school teacher. I teach French and will also teach outdoor education next year. I love the outdoors, in particular rock climbing. I like to travel, eat well, read, keep up my French, train a lot, talk about life and sleep well after a big day. I like to keep the house clean. I like sunny and green spaces outside my bedroom window. I like music and to dance but I am not a party animal.

Hello everyone. I'm a Melburnian moving up to Canberra in 2018 to work full time. I'm very friendly, social, tidy, funny and respectful, also fairly introverted. Appreciate cleanliness (!!), privacy and environments with positive vibes. Looking for housemates that are easy-going and fun. Hobbies include tennis, travelling, fun adventures with friends, coffees, food outings, games, anything technology related.
**AVAILABLE after 1st December 2017** Hey everyone! I have one room available - the rent is for an furnished room. The furniture includes a king single, personal desk and inbuilt wardrobe. The house is a brand new townhouse with an open living area. The property is furnished as in the photos. We have a large deck area as in the photos and all we need now is a BBQ, which we look forward to buying in the coming weeks! The property has off-street parking, gas, dishwasher and has NBN with download speeds up to 100mb/s, by speed test we average around 85mp/s as we opted for speed boost and 1000gb. The house is close to UC for any UC students wanting to live close to campus and is relatively close to the city for ANU students. Just note you will be sharing the bathroom with one very clean female. Preferably after someone for 6-12months.
Hello, my name is Michael. I am a international student from China studying at UC. I put most of the time in part-time working and studying as well. During the spare time, I would play basketball or go to the gym, reading books or be cooking at home. Please contact me. Thank you.
I have just finished my first year of uni doing a teaching and science double degree at UC. I am looking to move out of home for next year and start being more independent. I study a lot, love to travel and am a hard working individual. Pretty easy going, bubbly personality and won't take up much room, except for my desk I will need to bring with me! I am tidy, make sure to clean up myself everywhere, and love to have a good chat! I work three jobs and am committed to bringing my best! Location wise, I am looking for somewhere walking/riding distance to the University of Canberra!
Quiet couple from Regional NSW. 1 is a full-time Law and Commerce student at UC whilst working part-time as a Paralegal in Deakin. The other works full-time as a 3rd year Apprentice Plumber. Looking predominantly to start a share-house with people of a similar age. I have lived in shared student accommodation for 12 months so I understand personal space and how to 'share'! We are quiet mostly and keep to ourselves (utilising Netflix and ice cream binge sessions), however we don't mind the odd social event.
Hi, I am based in Sydney right now. I got job in one of the Govt org. I am moving to Canberra in end of November and looking for shared accommodation. I can pay $220 for ensuite room or $180 for single room shared bathroom per week. I am male, 28, Software Engineer. I like to make friends, watch movies, play badminton, non-smoker, no pets. Thanks, Abhi
A Melbournian looking to move up to Canberra to start full-time work in the public service. I'm friendly, reliable, tidy, considerate, easy-going, and a proud supporter of the Oxford comma (sometimes). I'm a nerd at heart who loves his gaming, movies and music. I love playing pick-up basketball, so if you're a follower of the NBA, we'll be sure to get along (unless you're a Celtics fan, fair warning). I'm always good for a chat over some beverages but can also appreciate a quiet night of Netflix and board games. I'm happy to fit into a house looking for a new roommate or team up with others also looking for a place to settle in Canberra. Hopefully looking to move and get settled around mid-December. I'll be working in Bruce so anywhere around there or in north Canberra would be preferred :)
Hey everyone!! About the house: We are looking for a third person to share a large modern house with us! We will be applying for 4+ bedroom homes - most likely renovated or near new. You will have the master bedroom with walk in robe and ensuite and potentially your own living area. The propective housemate will be paying $280-350ish, with the total cost of the house being $650-800. Rach will rent two bedrooms, one for herself and one for her home business, and Ash will take the final one. The house will be fully furnished only requiring you to bring your bedroom. If you do have furniture of your own I am sure we will be able to accomodate as most of the places we are interested in have multiple living spaces. A little about us: Rach works full time the for APS as a Senior Project Officer upgrading the infrastructure at APH and runs a small business after work and on weekends.. (yes, I do have time off work.. sometimes!) Somewhere in amungst this she also studies a never ending part time degree of Building and Construction Management at UC. As a result it is pretty rare that you will find her sitting on the couch or hanging around the house with nothing to do! Random fact: favourite band - red hot chilli peppers!! Ash also works full time for the APS as an Executive Assistant at the ACCC and keeps herself busy during the week at crossfit. Of a weekend she will usually either travel to our home town or catch up with friends. Random fact: salt and vinegar flavoured anything! In summary... We are pretty laid back, easy to get along with, mature and love to have friends around every now and then however are well and truely past our days of partying every weekend. We would be looking for someone who is happy to have a dinner and a drink together of an occasion, but is also happy to do their own thing most of the time. We have lived in share houses for a long time and expect everyone to clean up after themselves and be proactive in sharing the cleaning duties throughout the common areas. That being said, we aren't absolute clean freaks either. Our preference is for a male, mid to late twenties however definitely more than happy for females to get in touch too. Shoot us a message if you'd like any more info or to catch up to meet! Legends need only apply :)
Recently returned from the U.S.A, where I completed a 3 month internship. Looking for somewhere to live upon my return to Canberra. Work full time and play a lot of sport, so I don't usually spend too much time at home. Very easy to live with; clean and respectful. Easy to get along with, good sense of humor. Any questions just let me know.
Located in Lawson: A brand new, fully-furnished house with 5 bedrooms. Four bedrooms presently occupied by uni students. Now available is one master bedroom with ensuite and walk in closet. Bright, spacious living. Brand new furniture, a wardrobe in every bedroom. Reverse ducted air-con; very warm in winter, cool in summer. With only a 5-min walk to UC, and the bus to ANU, there's also easy access to Belconnen shopping mall, restaurants on Emu bank, Belconnen Library, aquatic centre and the Labor Club. NBN, water and gas are included in rent! Would suit full-time tertiary students and professionals.
I am a 25 year old public servant and I am currently looking for somewhere central, inner north / south or Belconnen Reigon. I am a fun, friendly and easy going person. I’m generally pretty busy during the week with work and on weekends I tend to spend time with family and friends but I do enjoy hanging out at home just to relax and do nothing. I’m not a massive party person but I enjoy being social! So I’m always keen for a chat and to hangout :) I love to cook and watch Netflix, that’s basically me in a bubble. Food + Netflix. Looking for some like minded people to live with! Happy to go anywhere between 6 - 12 months (even longer if possible) I also come with a queen sized bed that I’m not willing too part with (it’s too amazing haha) so the room would need to be able to fit that and storage for my clothing or come with built in robes. Also, I am unfortunately super allergic to cats so I wouldn’t be able to live with them. *sad face* but dogs are completely fine or any other pets :) If you think I suit what you are looking for fee free to shoot me a message!
I'm a clean and tidy 23 year old government worker. I've just been offered a role to start on the 27th of November in Belconnen, so I'd like to move up the weekend just before I start. I don't have many possessions other than my computer and my clothes, a few books and vinyl records - as such i would prefer a room that's already furnished (so i don't have to bring heaps more furnishings down from Sydney) but if the room isn't furnished i can do have the option to bring my bed/table/bedside table and things. I'm bilingual, and I love the outdoors. Fishing is my favourite pastime, but also enjoy kayaking, camping and biking as well as bush regeneration. I don't smoke, have no pets, no children and i live a pretty minimalist life. I do have a goal of moving to Canada next year for work which may happen so I have already gotten rid of alot of my possessions. I'm respectful and courteous, and I understand everybody likes their own private time even when sharing a house. let me know if you are interested in having me as a flatmate :)
Hi there, I'm young enthusiastic education student (Finish end of 2018) that is looking for a place to live! My preferred options are to take over student accommodation, studio or a small 2/3 bedroom share house, moving from a 5 bedroom. I love a chat, fitness, sport, playing my PlayStation 4 and a casual drink when something calls for it! I'm respectful of privacy, tidy and very friendly! Furniture wise I have everything to fill my room (including a queen size bed) but I am more than happy to store this stuff for student accommodation.
The room comes with it's own bathroom and is furnished, along with the rest of the villa being fully furnished. It's a brand new property and was only finished building in early October. The room is located on the first floor next to the bathroom, front door and kitchen. The main bedroom is located upstairs so each tenant has their privacy. The available room also has it's own private heating and cooling system installed. Positioned close to: - University Of Canberra - Short distance to Canberra City - Canberra Institute of Technology - Belconnen Westfield Shopping Centre - Lake Burley Griffen - Bus stops located close by The room will be available after 3rd January - so we're flexible with the move-in date.
Hi My name is Pablo. I am very relaxed and organized with payments and home duties. Super clean and tidy and at the same time very easy going. I like my own time and also love to share a beer or a glass after work. I will be working full time. During my free time I love to exercise, cycling or swimming. Love outdoors and visit the museums once in a while. I am a nonsmoker. Let me know if you would be interested. Pablo
I'm an easy going person, happy to have a night in or a night out! I don't smoke, not the biggest fan of drugs for myself, but wont judge you! I've only been to Canberra once, so you might get some stupid questions from be about where things are, or be asked to tag along to all the tourist things! I have a dog named Mia, she is ~3 and is a rescue. Not sure of her breed she is pretty big, but she is a sweet dog. The only thing she wants is a bit of attention and maybe food! I'll be available to move in from November!
Hey! I'm a 2nd year science student at ANU looking for a new place to live! I'm really friendly, clean, respectful and keep to myself but am always willing to be social! I'm easy going and think of myself as a very versatile flatmate 😊
