Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am looking forward to experiencing the delights of Canberra (especially the mountain biking) and keen to make new friends! I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!
I'm Sarah, I'm 23 years old and I'm studying at UC. I'm doing my masters in occupational therapy. I have lived in share houses for 3 years now so I am used to living communally and understand about communal cleaning. I am clean, tidy, friendly. I like to have a chat with people but respect people's personal space.
Hey there, I am a young kiwi looking to fly from the nest (even though kiwis can't fly). I was born, raised and have never moved from a small city in New Zealand and am ready to venture over to Canberra to begin my studies at University of Canberra. I am currently a full-time student at UCOL (my current course finishes mid May) and part-time employee in sales- yes, I never seem to get a day off. Some hobbies which I have also include some rather nerdy things such as gaming, cosplay and playing some good ol'fashioned card games. I do have a taste for the finer things in life such as fast speed internet, 2 minute noodles and memes. I enjoy being social and trying new things, I never back down from a challenge. I am more than willing to compromise and cooperate with everyone I live with (it also helps that I'm a passionate baker and love cleaning- vacuuming is my favorite). All I am seeking in return is a good experience with some relaxed, friendly people. I look forward to hearing from you soon, Robyn
I'm a uni student studying a Master of physiotherapy looking to move down from Victoria to start at UC in August. I'm a very laid back person who spends most of his time at the gym, studying or at work. I'm keen to become good friends with whoever I move in with and will also always be respectful and clean.
We have a brand new townhouse in the luxury Vanguard development in Lawson. Lawson is right near the University Of Canberra, the Australian Institute of Sport, GIO Stadium Canberra, the new private hospital currently under construction and Calvary Hospital. It is just minutes away from Belconnen shopping centre and just 9 km to the City Centre. We are looking for a group of 3 females to take care of our property as if it were their own. You can be a group of friends or 3 individuals. There are 2 bedrooms, each with en suites upstairs and 1 bedroom with en suite on the ground floor, and an additional powder room on the middle living level. The home has ducted heating and cooling, double glazed windows, custom made curtains, a huge gas cooktop, massive island bench, industrial Asko appliances and is furnished in a retro Scandinavian style. There is only on street parking. If you dont have a car, even better. There is a bus stop about 30 metres away. Rooms are $200 per week plus bills. The home is NBN ready. The house is fully furnished and has everything you need. No smokers please.

Hi all, up for rent is one room in a arge 4 bedroom house split between four people (once you move in). The current tenant includes myself (31, engineer in the Navy), my partner (28 teacher) and our mate (31 male tradesman). There is lots of space and a nice backyard. Half the house split between two. We are all climbers, as you'll see from the bouldering wall we have in the lounge room! We are communal, share buying food, housework and cooking. We'd love another sociable person who knows how to keep a house clean, but we are not anal. We have 2 dogs already that are super friendly and well behaved. Can't really accept another dog. So, hopefully you are a dog person!
This is a large (320m2) luxury newish house with all the modern conveniences. Two stories and separate lounge living areas mean you can hang out with your amazing flatmates, or do your own thing. It has a large, modern kitchen, polished floor boards throughout, built in robes, share a bathroom with only one other person, reverse cycle heating and cooling, a cleaner (included in the rent), broadband (including ethernet connection in your room) and netflix (included in the rent). Close to the lake for walking/running around too.
Won't be around much due to work and weekend activities, quiet and considerate, also active in house activities such as cooking, cleaning, tv, etc.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Started full-time work as an office manager this year. Enjoy going to the gym, hanging with friends or just chilling at home watching netflix after work. I like going out for coffee, brunch and to the movies on the weekends.
Hi, This place has excellent locality in Belconnen, pleasing view of the lake is our back yard and people in the mood of walking and running can find it really good BBQ near the lake with friends is one of the attractions for this place. Our house is in the proximity of 10-15 min of walk to most of the facilities like bus stop for the blue liner(every 5 to 8 min which connects UC ,ANU , City, Woden, Calvery hospital), Belconnen mall public, library etc. Our house have Netflix,Central heating , Internet connection, modern look, the house is furnished and the rooms advertised have beds. The kitchen is furnished have most of the equipment like fridge, microwave , oven rice cooker, slow cookers, crockery , cutlery so you do not have to worry about them you are most welcome to use them and cook. We are living in the main bedroom and we have our ensuite so you and another room partner will have to share the bathroom, this bathroom has shower bath and toilet. We have one more sharing toilet downstairs. We also have a complex swimming pool for people living here. We can discuss more when we talk to you best of luck in searching. Kokila
The property is on a large block in an established neighbourhood, with easy access to the lake, walking paths, shops, and public transport. Your room is at one end of the house, separated from the family living area, with a private entrance.
Looking for a young professional or student to join our household we are all in our early 20s . We are in a prime location we are close to the kaleen shops and the university's. The house is fully furnished but the room that is available isn't but it does have plenty of room for a double bed and has its own inbuilt wardrobe . Please don't hesitate to call or ask for any further information 👍😀
- ideal for UC students as it is just a 3 minute walk to the library and just next door to the convenient store and cafes - Bus stop is just 5 minutes away and ideal for ANU and CIT Bruce students. The house is right by the road side so if you're getting dropped off, you arrive right at your door step. - 10GB free internet per month and if you use up your bundle, the additional bundles are cheap to purchase. - You just need to provide utensils and a mattress protector for your bed. - There is a heating system in the room as well to keep you warm during the harsh winter.
Bruce complex - It is close to Belconnen and not far from the city. Down the road from the Raiders, hospital and lake. Gyms nearby, lots of amazing places to eat. The unit is 2 storey, 4 bedroom but we only want 3 tenants so that we are not tripping over each other. The 2 of us that will be living there are both quiet people and keep to ourselves and looking for someone similar. I have furnished the house - you only need to furnish your room. Quiet area and friendly neighbours. Very minimal rules - make sure we all pitch in for house hold grocery items(washing detergent, washing powder/softner, foil/cling wrap, wash cloths, bin bags etc.) everyone has to pull their weight and clean up your own mess and also the house when needed before having to be asked. No shoes through the house is preferable. Keeping in mind others live there so keep noise to a minimum late at night and early mornings. We have 2 garage car spaces(1 is mine, the other will be taken by either of the 2 other tenants - decided between them) and also in front of the garage we have 2 spaces. No phone line connected or internet supplied. Bills will be quartered between the 3 of us when the come in. Smokers are fine but its only outside smoking with all windows and doors closed, absolutely no smoking indoors. NO PETS ALLOWED. The room will be available at the end of April but if you need to move in earlier we may be able to arrange for the current tenant to leave prior to her end date. I will require 4 weeks rent and 4 weeks bond will be paid up front upon moving in. Which you will then get back when you leave or lease is up and we decide not to stay - pending there is no damage done etc. Please contact me if you are interested in coming to see the house and the room etc.
Hi, I'm a 22 year old student studying Business at CIT and have previously studied events management. I am a full time student and working casually. I recently started a new job, and although I am happy where I live, it's quite far from where i work and I'm spending way too much time on buses so I would like to move closer to Gungahlin and as close to the Marketplace as possible. I like to have my own space especially when I have assignments due, but also enjoy getting to know people and like to be friendly with those I live with. I have my own bedroom furniture so would prefer and unfurnished room. I'm not into huge parties or anything but I do like occasionally having friends over for a meal or just to hang out. I'm always respectful though and wouldn't make a mess or too much noise. Always happy to do my fair share of housework.
Full-time public servant who plays a bunch of sports. I dont mind a beer and hanging out on the weekend but respect peoples privacy. Im really easy going and easy to get along with.
Hello Everyone!! My name is Emily, I am 25 years of age, work as a nurses assistant at Calvary and study full time at CIT in enrolled nursing. I am easy-going, considerate, sociable, trustworthy and respect the privacy of others. I enjoy cooking, health and fitness. Looking for not just a house mate but a friend. I have furniture for my room so preferably an unfurnished room would be ideal. I also have a timber hutch which I would love to bring with me.
Im an easy going 29 year old male who will be working as a news camera operator in Parliament House, moving from Sydney at the end of April. I have lived in many share houses before so have no problem with getting along with people and doing my part within a household. I love my sport and having a quiet beer. Originally from Parkes NSW and lived in Wagga for years so Canberra isn't far from home.
Heya! Looking to move ASAP I am a full time student at ANU, and work 2 part time jobs. I also like to sell my drawings for a bit of extra cash :) I am super chill, but like to keep things nice, clean and tidy. I work and study a lot so I might not be around heaps; but Im really easy to get along with. I used to go to boarding school so I am accustomed to living with heaps of people and will definitely be respectful of your stuff/ space/ everything :) I am a vegetarian and mostly like to cook on my own, but I am more than happy to do shared meals or something... usually works out cheaper that way anyway. I have a lil kitten called Hector. He is a cornish rex... I am allergic to cats, but he is hypoallergenic and I don't have any problems with him. These cats are typically dog-like and VERY affectionate, but if you don't want him in your room/ certain areas of the house, I'm sure we could work something out :) At present I am teaching him how to fetch and I am (very very slowly) working on a high five! He's super entertaining and always a welcome study break. Send me a message if you're interested/ feel free to ask me ANY further questions. Cheers, Zo
