Located in Lawson: A brand new, fully-furnished house with 5 bedrooms. Four bedrooms presently occupied by uni students. Now available is one master bedroom with ensuite and walk in closet. Bright, spacious living. Brand new furniture, a wardrobe in every bedroom. Reverse ducted air-con; very warm in winter, cool in summer. With only a 5-min walk to UC, and the bus to ANU, there's also easy access to Belconnen shopping mall, restaurants on Emu bank, Belconnen Library, aquatic centre and the Labor Club. NBN, water and gas are included in rent! Would suit full-time tertiary students and professionals.
I'm a friendly, easy going person who's always up for a chat. I like to keep things pretty chill at home, preferring to go out elsewhere to catch up with friends. I'm currently a mature age student studying education, doing part time work, so during the semester I'm pretty busy. Love pets, beer, running, music, and carbs.
Clean, friendly and responsible. Don't drink, smoke or use illegal drugs. Quite chill, and normally enjoys relaxing at home, or eating at nice places. I'm athletic and enjoy playing sports, and can handle a bit of garden work if wanted. I enjoy cooking, albeit not the greatest, but if asked, I will cook for everyone, and don't mind sharing a lot of my things.
Great 3 bedroom townhouse- close to UC and the city! Off street parking. Own bathroom. Room is unfurnished but rest of the house is fully furnished! Internet included in the rent which is unlimited! Air conditioned! Sorry no couples or pets!
Hi there, I'm Joshua, 24, from Germany/Munich. I'm studying sports science. I visit UniCanberra for my Master's thesis. It would be great to have contact to students in order to come together and do fun stuff, like sports, party, sightseeing, traveling, cooking and whatever is fun to you. Looking forward to see you! Best regards, Josh
Hi there! I'm Tash, I'm 21 and currently in my third (but not quite my last) year studying International Relations and French at ANU. I'm a born and raised Canberra girl, and am looking to move out of home in order to be closer to uni and work (part-time as a swim instructor/coach). I spend quite a bit of time out and about, and can often be found either swimming or at the gym, but I also love to chill out with Netflix and a cup of tea (T2 New York Breakfast, if you're interested). I am a music lover with a taste for all genres, the only strong aversion I have is country music... a year spent on a Midwest college campus in the U.S. did nothing to help this situation. I like to keep organised, which helps my productivity and mindspace (a must when it comes to assessment period) but I am very easygoing and always happy to help out around the house in any way possible! I'd love a long-term place to live, and am flexible with move in dates. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
I'm a very easy going student currently studying at ANU and working a retail job. I'm easy to get along with, and looking forward to living in a nice relaxed group environment. I tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I enjoy socialising as well. Always keen to play video games, board games, and I love horror movies, but I'm always happy to just chill.
Hi there, I moved from Adelaide to Canberra to work full-time at CSIRO. I'm quiet, friendly, and respectful of people around me. I live a pretty minimalist lifestyle (clean, tidy, no clutter!), and like having a chat at the end of the day, but I also like my alone time, and respect that other people need this as well! Though my background is in science, I also have a love of the arts - music, film, books, photography.
I am 26 years old and work full-time in the public service and after work I generally head to the gym, so, some nights I don't get home until after 7pm. During the week I tend to keep to myself but happy to share a meal, drink or a movie on weekends. I am extremely reliable, respectful and helpful - so no issues getting rent or bills out of me :) I have no problem with overnight visitors/boyfriends/girlfriends as I hope people who are okay with me having an overnight visitor a couple nights a week. I currently have household furniture such as, fridge (new), lounge set, kitchen items etc which I am happy to use or to leave in storage and I also have a vehicle I will need to accommodate for. I'm ideally looking for a place, big enough for a queen bed and other furniture, with my own bathroom (preferably an ensuite master room). Happy to move in as of 7 April 2017.
Im an honest, genuine, hard-working person who is easy to get along with and very respectful of personal space and the need to sometimes just chill out on your own. But im also looking for a roommate who is friendly and wouldn't mind a bit of a chat every now and then and maybe watch a movie or have a drink or two on the weekend :)
Hey I'm Reilly 19 first year apprentice at Toyota looking for a house in Belconnen with some relaxed and friendly people. In my spare time i like to snowboard rock climb and scuba dive as well as the occasional night out or a movie. Non smoker.
Im an early 30's professional who has just relocated from Melbourne for work. Im very friendly and easy going but work full time and am studying too so am pretty busy. That being said I like a good chat over a glass of wine (I come with a red wine fridge/collection) and walking lake Ginnenderra. Im also a massive fiotball (soccer) fan but willing to try out other sports if you follow a rival code. Im very clean and appreciate that in a housemate. Im also respectful of personal space having lived with shift workers before. I'm looking for an unfurnished private room for about 6-12 months while I look to buy up here in Canberra.
We have a brand new townhouse in the luxury Vanguard development in Lawson. Lawson is right near the University Of Canberra, the Australian Institute of Sport, GIO Stadium Canberra, the new private hospital currently under construction and Calvary Hospital. It is just minutes away from Belconnen shopping centre and just 9 km to the City Centre. We are looking for a group of 3 females to take care of our property as if it were their own. You can be a group of friends or 3 individuals. There are 2 bedrooms, each with en suites upstairs and 1 bedroom with en suite on the ground floor, and an additional powder room on the middle living level. The home has ducted heating and cooling, double glazed windows, custom made curtains, a huge gas cooktop, massive island bench, industrial Asko appliances and is furnished in a retro Scandinavian style. There is one garage and the rest is on street parking. If you dont have a car, even better. There is a bus stop about 30 metres away. Rooms are $200 per week plus bills. The home is NBN ready. The house is fully furnished and has everything you need. No smokers please.
Hi, I'm a very clean, tidy and friendly person and easy to live with. I am full time employed with a busy schedule and usually keep to myself. Looking for short term accommodation. Shoot me a message if you're interested. Thank you Kind regards Robin
That's a hard question as there are always going to be advantages and disadvantages with living with anyone! So I'll list my advantages for you ! I am extremely easy going, I'm never violent or angry in any way shape or form! I like to Netflix as much as possible that can involve the odd binge or documentary which can take up almost half a life time. In that sense I don't mind relaxing with others! I like food! Whether it's takeaway or something made at home! I used to work in restaurants with Italian cooks and also some eccentric cooks as well so I guess I've learnt abit in that sense. I do enjoy have a beer or two on the weekends so I'm sure if you like that we would be just fine been roommates ! I don't mind noise either so if you are a mid week party animal be my guest! This isn't to say I make a lot of noise. I just can sleep through anything to be honest. Since I'm new to Canberra would be awesome if someone could show me around or if someone is from overseas for you to enrich me with your culture ! As I have many French and Chinese friends ! I do work full time Monday to Friday! So I guess don't expect me to me partying mid week either but as I said before I don't mind if you guys do it a second I can sleep trough anything. I like to try new things and would really like to meet new people as I don't know many people here. If you like message me and I'll send you my full name if it's not already up so you can stalk me on Facebook!
The house is very central and there is easy access to public transport, shopping, AIS and the University of Canberra. There is a pool in the garden and plenty of outside space. The room has a single bed, desk, built in wardrobe and central heating.
I recently moved back to Canberra from Sydney to be closer to my Dad. I'm a happily single, gainfully employed 48yo. I'm neat and tidy, clean up after myself and don't have wild parties as I find it takes far too long to recover :) I love good banter and am respectful of other's space. I have experience living in shared accomodation and am very easy-going. I'd prefer a place where I had my own bathroom/ensuite. Looking for a place in the Belconnen area it's close to my favourite haunts.
Hi, I’m looking to join an existing sharehouse or start one. I’ve been lazily lurking here awhile to see what’s what, but I’m now getting my butt into gear and am actively looking. I’m a non-smoker and am looking for a non-party household. I’m fairly tidy and enjoy a good book, Netflix, going out for coffee and food, Reddit, YouTube and video games. I’m a night owl but I don’t make too much noise. I enjoy a good movie night or family dinner every so often. I manage a retail store at Westfield Belconnen currently and am looking for full-time professionals or reliable students to share with. I’m keen to make a home, not just a house. I’d prefer to live with 1-3 women in their 20s/early 30s but am flexible. I’m okay with including a guy in our house too. If we’re starting a sharehouse, I’d love to get a newer place with larger rooms and a bit of light, but obviously with uni starting back the competition is stiff right now. I come with bedroom furniture and random other bits and pieces for the common areas, though I can get rid of them too if necessary. Shoot me a message to meet up/show me a room. Cheers, Scarlett
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Started full-time work as an office manager this year. Enjoy going to the gym or chilling at home watching netflix after work. I like going out for coffee, brunch and to the movies on the weekends.
We are starting a permaculture food forest on the property, aiming to have fresh food and eggs all year round. Looking at building skills in self-sustainability with like minded people. We are three 20s-30s dudes.
We have a room available in a double storey townhouse in Bruce. The room has a built in wardrobe and can fit a queen size bed. Our house is within walking distance to CIT Bruce, UC, AIS, and the GIO stadium. The bus stop is a three minute walk away. There's a small convenience store 500 metres down the road, and Jamision Centre, Kaleen shops and Belconnen Westfield are a short drive away. The house has gas and panel heating, a courtyard, a double garage and a harry potter cupboard for storage and wizards. The house will be fully furnished, but the bedroom will be unfurnished. On street parking is also available.
Bruce complex - It is close to Belconnen and not far from the city. Down the road from the Raiders, hospital and lake. Gyms nearby, lots of amazing places to eat. The unit is 2 storey, 4 bedroom but we only want 3 tenants so that we are not tripping over each other. The 2 of us that will be living there are both quiet people and keep to ourselves and looking for someone similar. I have furnished the house - you only need to furnish your room. Quiet area and friendly neighbours. Very minimal rules - make sure we all pitch in for house hold grocery items(washing detergent, washing powder/softner, foil/cling wrap, wash cloths, bin bags etc.) everyone has to pull their weight and clean up your own mess and also the house when needed before having to be asked. No shoes through the house is preferable. Keeping in mind others live there so keep noise to a minimum late at night and early mornings. We have 2 garage car spaces(1 is mine, the other will be taken by either of the 2 other tenants - decided between them) and also in front of the garage we have 2 spaces. No phone line connected or internet supplied. Bills will be quartered between the 3 of us when the come in. Smokers are fine but its only outside smoking with all windows and doors closed, absolutely no smoking indoors. NO PETS ALLOWED. The room will be available at the end of April but if you need to move in earlier we may be able to arrange for the current tenant to leave prior to her end date. Please contact me if you are interested in coming to see the house and the room etc.
Hi, I am moving to Canberra in April 2017 after living in Dubai for 14 years - very excited about settling in a new place! I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. Professionally, I am a Training and Development specialist, on the look out for job opportunities. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates. Prefer a furnished room with own bathroom in a furnished house/flat and access to gas stove, washing machine, fridge and wifi internet.

I would be perfect to help pay rent while you look for a long term housemate! I am easy going ....except I'm super neat haha Non smoker (I wont live with you if you smoke inside) I really love animals of all kinds I am working two jobs part time (but ends up being full time hours) I work as a youth worker and in a cafe I love drinking tea I am Vegetarian but don't care if you aren't I like to cook Any other questions just ask! Hi there! I'm a country girl who's been living the Sydney city life for a bit over a year, and I'm moving to Canberra to work full time as a nanny, before starting study next year. I love to cook, dance terribly but enthusiastically, garden, and sing. I like quiet nights in and board games, and I'm respectful and tidy. I love animals but don't have any of my own (except a horse, but don't worry, he'll have alternative accommodation. Hoping I find a welcoming and fun place.
Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am looking forward to experiencing the delights of Canberra (especially the mountain biking) and keen to make new friends! I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!
One of your best housemates garenteed; even a new good mate 😁😁 Respectful, reliable and honest. Really easy going, fun and down to earth. Moving from Jindabyne nsw
So, I am escaping a possum riddled, damp shed and am keen for a fully enclosed, preferably rodent free place to call home. I'm studying design full time at UC and working in a cafe in the city.
Heya! Looking to move ASAP I am a full time student at ANU, and work 2 part time jobs. I also like to sell my drawings for a bit of extra cash :) I am super chill, but like to keep things nice, clean and tidy. I work and study a lot so I might not be around heaps; but Im really easy to get along with. I used to go to boarding school so I am accustomed to living with heaps of people and will definitely be respectful of your stuff/ space/ everything :) I am a vegetarian and mostly like to cook on my own, but I am more than happy to do shared meals or something... usually works out cheaper that way anyway. I have a lil kitten called Hector. He is a cornish rex... I am allergic to cats, but he is hypoallergenic and I don't have any problems with him. These cats are typically dog-like and VERY affectionate, but if you don't want him in your room/ certain areas of the house, I'm sure we could work something out :) At present I am teaching him how to fetch and I am (very very slowly) working on a high five! He's super entertaining and always a welcome study break. Send me a message if you're interested/ feel free to ask me ANY further questions. Cheers, Zo
Easy going 20 year old female looking to move back into town as parents bought rurally and commute is killing my car as well as social life. I have a beautiful female puppy who is full of life and cuddles. Very tidy, can cook and am happy to do lots of cleaning on my days off :) I am looking for more permanent work in my field but am currently working pretty much full time in retail. Would also be looking to have my partner move in when his lease ends in end of May if it was comfortable for those sharing the house with me but it is not a requirement if you're not comfortable.
Hi potential future housemates. My name is Meg, and I'm a beginning teacher. I'm looking for a pet-friendly place to call home, preferably in the Belconnen area. About me: I'm a 28-year-old female. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind what you eat. I'm fairly left-wing and non-religious. My interests include art (mostly sculpting), walking and running, reading, writing, watching TV/movies, drinking tea, discussing politics/philosophy/the meaning of life, chilling with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and experiencing new things. I'm starting out in my teaching career, and will probably be focussed on work over the next few months. I am fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). I have a car and a motorbike. About my pets: (it sounds like a lot, but you'll only really see the dog) 1 Dog (young bichon frise) - Micky is a small, hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dog who will probably live with me part-time. He is young (8 months), and training is ongoing, but is friendly and loveable. He is an inside dog, and will need a dog door and a small yard. He is attending puppy school. He would probably love another dog for company, but I would have to see how he gets on with other pets before committing to a place. I have no idea how he would get on with a cat. 2 guinea pigs - Titian and Smudge are male guinea pigs. They live exclusively outdoors. They will need a semi-sheltered section of yard for their hutch. Beyond that, you won't notice they exist unless you choose to interact with them (in which case, they are quite cuddly). 3 cockatiels - I have three cockatiels that live in a movable cage. They are used to living indoors, but could be relocated to a sheltered outdoor area (such as a covered verandah). Cockatiels can be quite noisy. Again, you would not have to have any interaction with them unless you chose to. I'm looking for: A room, granny flat or studio in a place with a yard and a small dog door. I have a car, a motorbike and a pushbike. I'm happy for my car to be parked on-street, but would prefer my motorbike and pushbike to be out of sight of the road. I'm looking for laid-back housemates who are happy to hang-out occasionally and have a chat, but are also happy to do their own thing. My budget is up to $200/week, but would pay more if bills are included. If you're interested, you can contact me on *oh for to five nine three oh seven ate ate* (written this way so it's not picked up by spam bots).
