Located in Lawson: A brand new, fully-furnished house with 5 bedrooms. Three bedrooms presently occupied by uni students. Now available are two single rooms. Bright, spacious living. Brand new furniture, a wardrobe in every bedroom. Reverse ducted air-con; very warm in winter, cool in summer. With only a 5-min walk to UC, and the bus to ANU, there's also easy access to Belconnen shopping mall, restaurants on Emu bank, Belconnen Library, aquatic centre and the Labor Club. NBN, water and gas are included in rent! Would suit full-time tertiary students and professionals.
Hey everyone! I have one room available with the option of two. Room 1 is the master room, it includes its own ensuite, walk in wardrobe and balcony. This room would suit a single young professional and or a student. The size of the master room is 2410 x 2640 mm. Room 2 is just an ordinary room suitable for a king single and small desk. This would be ideal for a student, but would also be fine for a young professional. The dimension of this room are 2620 x 2380mm. The house is a brand new townhouse with an open living area. The property will be furnished excluding bedrooms, kitchen utensils will be provided along with products to wash dishes. The property has off-street parking, gas, is NBN ready and that will be set up ASAP (as we are yet to move in) and comes with a dishwasher. The house is close to UC for any UC students wanting to live close to campus and is relatively close to the city for ANU students. If you rent the non-master room you will be sharing the bathroom with one female.

I'm a bubbly and friendly person who is easy to get along with. I keep to myself usually and work Monday to Friday as well as spending time with my friends so, I don't spend a huge amount of time at home. If we make friends though, I would be happy to cook dinner for everyone occasionally and have a drink or two together. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I'm well organised and am able to work in with the needs of others (eg. Bathroom schedules etc, if required). I'm moving into a share house to save myself some money, as I have been living by myself for a while now. I aim to save and travel or buy my own place. Please note - although I am a smoker, it's generally a social occurrence. Im respectful of others wishes, I don't smoke inside and will only smoke outside the house on occasion if it is okay with others. If not, I can easily go without. It isn't a deal breaker for me.
I am a 27 year old girl who is social but at the same time likes a little bit of privacy. I am very responsible as a person and helpful as well. I do know how to cook, clean and keep my stuffs tidy. I am coming to the University of Canberra for my further studies early next year.
Hey guys, I have recently graduated and have fortunately secured a 1 year grad program in canberra. I'm originally from the Sydney. Love to cook and bake, plus like being physically fit. So I guess gym is my forte. My grad program starts end of this month (october). Hit me up with a message if your interested.
Hi! I'm looking for a flat mate as I am fairly new to Canberra. I am a young professional student who works full time. I'm a tidy person who respects others privacy but am always up for a laugh and to hang out :)
Hey all, I am a pretty going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. Cheers
Hi I am looking for one person (over 30) to share a three bedroom house with me (female). There are two bathrooms, a big double garage and two living areas so there is plenty of space. You will have the main bedroom with ensuite and a spot in the garage. I have some furniture but not enough to fill two living areas so you are welcome to bring yours and make the place really feel like your own. I work regular Mon-Fri hours. I'm easy going, neat, tidy and considerate, had plenty of practice sharing. I generally lead a healthy lifestyle. Am into sport. Like food and wine. Split bills - gas and electricity. Gas heating. Shopping centre close by. Backs onto parkland with cycle pathway. Grassy backyard Small front courtyard quiet street Bus stop is about 200m away Two people max in house
Large home with unlimited broadband WiFi, Foxtel. Close walking distance to local shops, public transport and University of Canberra. Bedroom available is large with built-in-robes, carpeted and window blinds. You will need your own bed and bedding. BBQ area out back with shaded table and chairs. Perfect for either Uni students or workers being superbly located.
Looking to see what currently available and if there are some people out there roughly around my age looking for a room mate! Okay to move out at any time, just trying to find the right people to live with. Prefer to have the master bedroom with ensuite if possible as I don't particularly like sharing bathrooms which comes from previous times with room mates being grubs (the worst!) Not looking to live too far away from the city or Belconnen and not looking to live on the Southside either, inner south is okay but nothing further (sorry peeps) I work full time as a PA and enjoy sports, online gaming, music, gigs, hanging out at home and good food and drink! I am in a relationship and would like to live together but I know not all places have space for couples but keen to see what's available if not that's totally cool! Please feel free to message me if I suit what you are looking for in a flat mate :)
I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working two part-time jobs. I have been living in Canberra for nearly a year coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also understand the line of wanted privacy. I am clean and willing to pitch in where as needed. I'm quite easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
New bruce have such a nice neighborhood and only 5 mins walk to University of Canberra. 1 of the single room is available in a 3 bedrooms apartment. The room includes a queen size bed, desk, chair and a built in robes. However, if you don't need the furniture, it is okay, we can take it away. Bathroom is shared with one more flatmate. The flat has all the necessary kitchen utilities as well as washing machine. Rent is $180 per week. Electricity, internet are included and essential expenses to clean social areas will be shared equally. Upon moving in, 2 weeks rent and a bond of 4 weeks are required. The flat is a 5 min walk from University of Canberra (UC) but also in walking distance or short bike ride to Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) and Calvary Hospital. There is a Bus Stop just in front of the building with the routes 3 and 934 to Civic, ANU, Westfielt Belconnen and southside. A 5-10 min walk from Bus stop in Collage Street and Haydon Drive with more route options Inter-town Route 900/300/314/313/318/319 and some more; busses stop every 10 mins.
Close to shops, bus stop and walking distance from university of Canberra!! The house is very large and spacious, there is a shared bathroom for the room available. Lovely little garden/outdoor space. The bond above is not entirely accurate because it's based on the total house not the rent we all pay. The bond is $614.
I have studied in quite a few places, including Hong Kong, Australia and the United States; such experiences have made me cosmopolitan. I am also a tiny person and willing to help out whenever I can :-) Looking forward to sharing a house with others and creating a happy living environment together!
I am friendly, neat and quiet mature age student (part time) looking for reasonably priced share house arrangement for 2017. After many years in Sydney and overseas I am returning to Canberra to be closer to my family, start a new job (4 days a week) in January and continue my studies. I am not much of socialiser but I am reliable when it comes to paying rent (and other household costs) and helping out with the maintenance of house. I prefer living in long-term sharing set-ups and I have been living with my current flatmates for the last 3 years and we have all been on good terms. I am sad to leave Sydney but I am hopeful and thinking positively about new prospects in the ACT.
We both love reading, animals, basketball, swimming, the odd social drink, movie nights and baking. Looking for easy going people to live with. Will be studying and working part time. $150 each or a little bit more providing utilities are included.

Hello! I am moving to Canberra to start work with the Australian public service. I have previously worked for a children's charity and before that I studied history at university. My mum is Australian but I have always lived in the UK so it is a really exciting change for me! I'm looking forward to exploring the city. I enjoy cooking, sports, going to galleries, and watching films. I'm looking for a friendly house that I can use as a base to get to know Canberra. I don't smoke, like to keep my room tidy, and would enjoy living in a relaxed and friendly house.
Hi! I am 25, single and looking for somewhere to live in Canberra. I've been renting for the past four years in Canberra but my lease is ending shortly. I work 7am - 4pm, five days a week and when I am at home I enjoy relaxing and unwinding. I am away most weekends with sporting commitments.
I'm a very easy going student currently studying at UC and working a retail job. I'm easy to get along with, and looking forward to living in a nice group environment - I loved the last share house I was in! Happy to keep to myself if it's a quiet place, but I love to socialise. Always keen to play video games, board games, and just chill :)

STILL LOOKING: You will be staying in a fully furnished provincial bedroom facing the courtyard, you will be sharing a bathroom. Everything in the apartment has been interior designed in the spirit of French provincial, contemporary and industrial styles. The room has a soft and heavenly queen bed-a mattress topper, spacious built in wardrobe, extra storage space and a study table. I am open to you bringing your own small furnishings however, it must suit the style of the interior design. Location: Very convenient!! Getting to UNI-Bruce, opposite UC, 2 mins walk to 300 Blue Rapid, next to the 3 and 7 inner city bus lines. It is 3 stops from ANU and takes 10-15 mins to get there. Getting to Shopping centres: It is 10 minutes to Belconnen Westfield, 10 Minutes to Canberra City. There are street cafes and convenience stores located in the complex. Price: $230/week excluding bills such as electricity and internet. This will be split evenly amongst the tenants. Water is already covered. There is secured underground car park. Long term stay- more than 6 months is preferable. Room available from 26th October. The housemate MUST BE 1) CLEAN AND TIDY: The tenant must help me do cleaning once/twice a week- oe take bins out. If you do not clean up after yourself: ie wash plates & cooking utensils after use, leave messes around the house, do not help take out the bin - we will probably not make a happy household. What needs to be done? Vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kitchen, dining area. A person who stays in the apartment must have an acceptable level of cleanliness. :) 2) Respectful of others, not making unreasonable noise after midnight nor invite an excessive number of people and throw wild parties. I am a later year uni-student and pretty much over college parties. Soz. 3) Pay their rent and electricity bills on time and not give dumb excuses as to why they can’t pay. They must be fiscally responsible and have a stable source of money/income whether its from family or work. 4) Is easy going and friendly 5) Has a personality – could be humorous and fun. Ie would prefer if the person didn’t hole themselves in their room all the time à la ‘unilodge style’ 6) I also occasional hosts guests as part of my interest in meeting other people of different cultures around the world. So you must be OK with living with guests. Some people I have met include Norwegians, Germans, French, Chinese and Indians. Ideal people include: (Long list- I know right?) 1) A couple is ok. 2) It would be awesome if you liked playing board games, chess or like puzzles. 3) Non-smoker: I am not entirely discounting smokers, but absolutely no smoking inside the house. Absolutely no drugs. 4) Enjoy watching TV series, movies and Netflix 5) Enjoys home cooking, various styles. 6) Not be passive aggressive, nasty or have bitchy tendencies 7) Is a person who enjoys travelling, learning about other cultures and languages. Who am I? I'm an ANU BSc/LLB student. I like to play tennis, watch movies, series anime, hang out with my friends, learn about other cultures and languages, I love to meet new people. I occasionally host guests from around the world! I love pop culture, art, foreign films and discussing about stuff in general :) Thanks for reading this really long post, congratulation for getting to the bottom of the ‘essay’. I’ve made the list really detailed and specific cause I really care about my living environment. Message me if you are interested in staying here. Look forward to speaking with you! Leonard

I spent a lot of time and energy at the start of this year furnishing this beautiful lake-view apartment, located at the heart of Belconnen, right next to Emu Bank and Westfield Mall. I was hoping to spend at least three years here, until I finish my PhD. But an opportunity came up which requires me to be in Melbourne for at least a year starting from 2017, so I am subletting my warm and cozy home to someone who is willing to take good care of it. The moving date is flexible, early January would be ideal. The apartment is fully furnished and you really only need to bring your own toothbrush! You will be sharing with another girl, Georgia, who is currently doing her Masters of Diplomacy at ANU. I am looking for someone (female) who is friendly, and who enjoys a clean and organized living environment. And please, non-smokers! If it sounds like you feel free to message me any time:)
