Hey hey :) Richard here. 27yo worker on the hunt for a new place to live. Lease is up where I am and I don't think renting with friends is a good idea now LOL. I work in hospitality so I start as early as 6:30am and finish as late as 8pm. Easy going friendly sorta guy. Don't drink or party these days however I am an outdoor smoker. Pretty much keep to myself and live a quiet life. I'm in no means a hermit or anti social. Enjoy heading to the beach on hot days/nights, going to the movies, mini golf, board games, bbq's at home and just hanging out with friends. I have two caged male pet rats, they are clean and don't smell. Domestic rats groom themselves constantly and the smell is actually their droppings and urine so I tend clean the cage every day or second day. I have a car so street parking of any kind is essential. Ideally I'd be looking for rooms that are $150pw incl bills. Can stretch it but not by a lot. The home offers quiet, clean, secure and affordable accommodation. It is newly renovated and landscaped, with a well zoned floorplan. The home is much bigger than it looks from the street and from photos. The home is perfectly located a short distance to shops, hospitals, recreational facilities, the new Box Hill Tafe Campus, and public transport. A walk to Lilydale Station would take around 15 mins. There is a bus stop (Bus No. 677) , just a couple of minutes walk from the house. The bus will take you direct to the station or on to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. We are located opposite the Gateway Reserve, so perfect for the morning (or afternoon) jog. Lots of open spaces and VERY quiet area. Home has been renovated with new flooring, paint, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Mod cons include Gas Ducted Heating, Gas Hot Water, and Gas Cooking. There is a very large open plan kitchen with two sinks, two gas cooktops, oven, and microwave. 2 bed townhouse, with a shared bathroom connected to both bedrooms. Second toilet downstairs. One living area, and front room is set up with my desk for uni (could be rearranged slightly if extra room is needed!!). Unfortunately only a single garage that I’m not willing to surrender, so parking would be on the street sorry!! The house is furnished with the basic essentials, has split system heating/cooling, but I haven’t gotten around to setting up the courtyard yet with table etc... It’s on the list!! Washing machine, but no dryer. The room has a built in wardrobe & split system, but is UNFURNISHED. Netflix, internet & water usage included in the rent. Electrity & Gas would be split 50/50. 5-10 min walk to Lilydale station & main street & 5 min drive to Chirnside Park Shopping centre.
