My lovely housemates are moving on to bigger and greater things so I now need people to fill their shoes next year! There are two rooms. One is a large master bedroom large enough for a king bed with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite ($260). The second bedroom with a built-in wardrobe large enough for a double bed and large desk ($160). This is in really great location: we're near Lyneham and Dickson shops, close to public transport and bike paths to the city, and there's a view of black mountain. The TV and fridge are leaving so if you are able to provide, or help provide, one or more of these things huge brownie points to you.
Hi, I'm an Italian PhD student working at ANU. I'm 24, going to move to Canberra in March from Rome and currently looking for an accomodation in town. The best flatmates for me should be tidy, as well as friendly and easygoing.
Single room available in a relaxed three bedroom shared house on a quiet street. It is just short walk to Lyneham shops and minutes drive to Dickson shops. 2-3 min walk to two bus stops, buses direct to ANU and the city, 10 min bus to city/ANU. The room is furnished with single bed, desk, wardrobe, bedside table. Internet is included in the rent, share electricity, water and gas. We are looking for someone who is friendly, cleans up after themselves and is considerate of others. Share house and bathroom with maximum two other persons. Please contact to arrange a viewing.
Hello! I am looking for a room in a sharehouse in Canberra from mid January 2020 onwards! I will be working as a graduate in the private sector and I am keen on living with other social young professionals/later year students in Canberra’s inner north. About me: - I recently completed my undergraduate studies at the ANU - I am fun and social but also enjoy my own space - I enjoy eating out but I also am a decent cook and make a really good banana cake - I can contribute 3 very healthy indoor plants to the household
Hi! I'm Liska, I'm a recent Honours graduate looking for somewhere in the Inner North to settle down and work for the next year. I'm a language/history dork, love animals, consume music voraciously, enjoy long walks through suburbs, wilderness and parks, sew patches, enjoy video games and make really good margaritas. I respect others' needs for personal space and quiet time. I'll sometimes sit out in shared spaces if I feel like a chat, but mainly just appreciate a place that everyone can feel relaxed about coming home to and spending time in. Happy to work within organised cleaning/chore rosters or more relaxed arrangements. I clean up after myself and keep my space tidy but a bit of mess won't bother me. I don't have heaps in terms of furniture, just a bicycle that needs storing somewhere, and I have a queen bed and medium-size shelf that I'd like to bring if there's space. If you've got a spare desk I can use, that's awesome, but otherwise I'm flexible. I'm looking to move anytime before the 28th Nov, but could stay where I am for another week or two if necessary.
I’m a recently graduated ANU Masters Grad and would love to move into a share house! I’ve lived in Canberra for the last 4 years and been in a share house for 2. I like to be friends with my housemates, have a good chat and spend time with them but I also value and respect their privacy and personal space. When I’m not too busy, I like to read (am a nerdy bookworm), paint, go to the weekend markets, hang out with friends over some good food and drinks, swim. I’m not a big party person and don’t generally have people over. Always up for Netflix marathons and chats over coffee ! I’ve love clean and neat spaces so I’ll always clean up after myself . My move in dates are pretty flexible, but need a place before 16th December.
Hello! I am looking for a new place to live having recently moved from Brisbane earlier this year. I am clean, respectful and friendly and a full-time working professional in the APS. I enjoy sport, being outdoors, and of course a good wine and cheese night. I am looking for similar minded people who enjoy watching a movie together or going out to dinner, but also respects personal space. Looking to move in mid-late December (end of January at the latest)
I work fulltime at the Uni of Canberra. I'm easy going and always up for a chat! I'm big into sports, gymming, games, and TV. Looking for a house with clean housemates that can be social but also happy with doing our own thing
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into an already established sharehouse. I would prefer a smaller place, maybe only 1 or 2 other people if possible. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix (aka I'm a huge homebody). I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie/trashy TV marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. Pretty flexible with move-in dates and can do any time between the first of December to the 30th of Jan :)
