Hello future housemates! My name is Javs and I'm a full-time young professional working in the defence industry. I'm a healthy eater, and I like to keep myself active and social. I'm honest, responsible, and clean. I respect privacy, but it's also cool to kick it if we vibe. If we don't, that's cool too 🙂. I value open, honest communication and if there are any issues or problems I'd like to get those out in the open and sorted out. If you think we might be good housemates feel free to give me a call. looking forward to meeting you!
I’m originally from Canberra and I love what this capital has to offer. I’m looking to move out of home and into a comfortable place in a great environment/area. I enjoy my solitude but loves socialising and going out and doing fun activities or going to cool events that are on. I’m currrently studying part time and working. Will be starting uni full-time next year @ UC. Happy to just hang out and I’m always down for a good d&m.

One where we can talk to each other about any issues that arise Message me if you think this sounds like we would be a good fit :)
Hey there, my name is Rach and I live in Adelaide but I'm moving to Canberra in 2019 to work as a graduate in the APS. I'm looking for flatmates who are easy going, friendly, and enjoy a wine or two. I'm looking for flatmates who want to be friends, and spend the odd day or night together watching netflix/going for walks/watching the footy or having a BBQ. That being said, I'm also respectful of time to ourselves, and will need a bit of this to catch up on work and study, and go home to Adelaide every now and then. What can I bring to the table? Nice wine glasses, cheese knives and platters, coffee cups, and decent cooking skills. What can you bring? Hopefully a table! I'm good to keep things clean and tidy, pull my weight and pay my bills on time. In my spare time I like to be social, play with my dog Charlie (unfortunately he's not coming with me), scout out good coffee and good wineries. Coming from South Australia, I'm into things like supporting small wineries, local producers and farmers markets. It also means I'm used to being able to get anywhere in 20 minutes, so I'm looking for places in areas close to my work in Barton. If you think we'd get along, and you've got a room free around January/February 2019, please get in touch!
I'm easy going, fun, can chat about a really great range of topics and love music - almost any kind. I'm a single, mature age uni student, photographer and a bit of a nerd! And I'm not afraid of housework. :) I grew up in Canberra and love that I still call it home.
I'm a 27 year old working professional originally from the gold coast looking for a room! I'm a pretty social person and I am usually out and about on weekends either getting brunch, going for hikes/exploring, visiting the beach/snow or having a drink or two. I work Monday to Friday but at night I like to attempt to go to the gym, cook, binge watch TV shows or play video games at home. I would love a place with like minded housemates that don't mind being social over food or a drink but also respect privacy and can keep the house clean. I would also prefer a place with one or two people rather than a massive share house but still around the $200/week mark if possible!
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
To begin working as a public servant in Feb 2019, looking to move to Canberra in mid January 2019. Easy going, relaxed and respectful. Clean and tidy, sociable and looking forward to meeting new people in a new city.
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can-do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. I’m really looking to live as near to my workplace as possible so Braddon, Reid, Manuka, Kingston, Red Hill, Garran, Griffith are my preferences. $300/week including utilities is my maximum. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting early November (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm a recent graduate from RMIT and like so many other grads I'm moving to Canberra to commence work within the APS. So I'm looking for any potential roommate/s to hopefully team up and get a place together, preferably close to the civic area/parliamentary triangle just mainly out of the convenience of commuting. I'm a pretty sociable person and love having a good netflix sesh with housemates but I also do value down time. So if you reckon we'd click, hit me up. If you appreciate a good coffee and know any good spots in Canberra for one, please do hit me up.
I'm a young professional moving from Queensland to Canberra for work. I love eating, drinking, socialising and meeting new people. I am a super easygoing housemate who will always be down for a beverage, loves a clean house and doesn't take offence easily. I also understand social cues, which in my experience, save lives. I'm happy to answer any questions, or have a quick phone call/skype/facetime if you would like, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
We are friendly, neat and quite chill! Love to hangout after work. Love watching movies, going out and cooking! Would love our shared space as well as having our own space! Always ready for a chat if you ever need one! :)
I’m a public servant who moved to Canberra at the beginning of the year from Queendland! I come with a bunch of furniture and a herb garden. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of people’s space. Outside of work I play netball and love a good pub trivia!
Hi there! I am a current Masters student at ANU, and I will be working for the Department of Defence next year. I am a clean, friendly, and outgoing person with a rotten sense of humour. I am looking to move into a place with a maximum of 2 other people within central North or South Canberra. Thanks! x
Hi I'm Kyle - Just moved to Canberra for work, from Christchurch (NZ). I work full-time in Fyshwick at a technology/engineering company, and often head to the gym or mountain biking outside of work. I enjoy meeting new people and I enjoy most things fitness/sports. Although being a kiwi I still have know idea what is going on during an AFL game (give me a few months...). I'm tidy, clean, and respectful of people I'm living with. I think I have a pretty good sense of humour and am always up for a laugh. I'm looking at short-term accom from the end of October through to roughly when my partner moves over from NZ (January sometime) and we move on to a 2-bd + place.
I'm back in Canberra (studied and worked here previously) after several years overseas. Got lots of good travel stories. Aiming to cycle to work at Black Mountain most days, like to be active, and usually out and about on weekends. Environmentally conscious, like my own space but also social and ready to have a chat. Ideal place would have (in decreasing order of importance): awesome housemate, carpet, sunshine, views, gas cooking. Love cats so that would be an amazing bonus!
I am moving to Canberra next year from Sydney and am looking for housemates who are just as likely to catch up over a glass of wine as they are to enjoy a cup of tea with me :) I am responsible and respectful. I'll happily do my share of house chores and water the plants! On weekends I like spending time with friends, going on hikes and exploring markets. I'm looking forward to living in a new city and meeting new people :) (I can also make dumplings!!)
I'm a clean, professional and quiet-living man. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work and would like to share with someone while I get my bearings. Although I respect personal space, I have great people skills and am able to socialise and enjoy spending time with others. I am very mindful of the needs and preferences of the people I share with and am respectful of their needs and preferences. I'd like to share with someone similar.
Hi, my name is Jacob. I am currently completing my university studies at RMIT University in Melbourne, but will be relocating to Canberra in February 2019 for a graduate program. I have heard the rental market goes a little nuts in the ACT in January/February, so I thought I would put the feelers out early to see if anyone else would like to team up and make the search a little less harrowing. I am not super familiar with Canberra in the geographical sense, but would like something central and close to the Parliamentary Triangle so the work commute is as convenient as possible. Looking for 1-2 others, private bathroom would be preferrable but not essential. I am clean and tidy, and hoping to live with others who are the same. Coffee and wine are in my DNA, and tend to socialise by consuming one of the two, sometimes both. I enjoy good conversation, adding to my book collection, keeping up on current affairs, and the occasional Netflix binge. I try to drag my ass out for some fitness on a semi-regular basis. I am sociable and outgoing, but also value my own down time. Get in touch if you'd like to have a chat.
Hey there - I’m a journalist moving to Canberra to cover politics. Looking for somewhere close to Parliament. I’m very clean, very friendly, and possess an adorable Scottish accent. Plus I alway pay bills on time. The only downside is my cooking, but I'm working on it.
