Hello! My name is Nicole, I'm 25 and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney for a 1 year contract new graduate job in the hospital. I'm looking forward to exploring what this lovely city has to offer! I love good coffee, wine and baking.
Hi, I'm Grace! I'm looking to share a place somewhere in the inner South or inner North. I'm moving to Canberra in January to start work as a graduate in the public service. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy going for walks, reading a good book and photography. I am looking forward to socialising and getting to know my housemate, but also understand the need for personal space and alone time. Am looking forward to new experiences and meeting new people.
Hello 😊 I am a recent graduate from Brisbane and moving to Canberra for full time work in the public service. People often say I am easy-going & responsible. I am clean and tidy and I also enjoy cooking. I like to get out on weekends to socialise, however I also value quite time. I love travelling, seeing places and trying new things.
Hi future housemates, My name is Richard, I'm 28 and I'll be moving to Canberra in January for work. I'm very laid back and sociable so get along with just about anyone. I keep pretty active, used to be a keen rower and now have a go at just about anything to stop going stir crazy! I've lived in share houses before so I'm happy living with housemates, doing my bit around the house, chilling out at home and respecting each other's space. I am neat and tidy, non smoker, social drinker but definitely not a huge party animal. Prefer to live with like minded people and become friends rather than just housemates.
Hi. I work part-time at a large sporting complex and am also studying honours in psychology. I'm a quiet, clean and easy-going person who enjoys reading, watching tv and movies, sewing and crafty things, playing board and card games and just generally chilling and having a c
Neat, good personal hygiene, great company, hilarious and humble. Moving from Melbourne to the our country's fabulous (ahem) capital to further my career and pursue higher(er) education. For fun I like to eat and shop beyond my means, not exercise and read. A bit to much. Kthanksbai!
My name is Mina and I'm 23 years old. I'm a political science student from Aarhus University in Denmark. In January I'm moving to Canberra to work as an intern at the Danish Embassy. At the moment I live in a small apartment in central Aarhus with my boyfriend. I'm a happy and smiling person. I love to hang out with my friends, enjoy good food, a cold beer or a good glass of wine. I would be a good flat mate if you are the type of person who likes a chit chat around the kitchen table or maybe an after-work beer once in a while.
Easy going, active public servant looking for short-term accommodation to June/July before heading overseas on posting. House trained and will provide wine and cheese.
I am a full-time Journalist and moving from Sydney to Canberra to work as the company's political correspondent. I am clean, neat and tidy. I am quiet and generally like to keep to myself, but love to hang out and have a chat after work from time-to-time. I have never lived in Canberra before, so am also hoping to make new friends. I am hoping to move ASAP. Although I have listed my moving date as the 19th of January - this is flexible. As I live in Sydney, I am happy to Face Time or Skype, but will be happy to come down to look at the room if I have others lined up on the same day to make the travel worth-while.
Hi all! I am super clean and organised person who loves meeting new people. I also love to cook and trying different things as much as I can, when I'm not, Italian is my go to. I'm a very adventurous person who absolutely loves snowboarding. So heading to the slopes on the weekend when I can will be a definite and I also welcome others to join me.
I'm looking for an easy going place to live with my 10 year old cat Steve. I'm a public servant, work full time. I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, reading, cooking & spending time with friends & family.
Hi! I'm Kat and i'm looking for a place to live in Canberra in February 2017. I'm moving down from Queensland for a graduate role and am hoping to live close-ish to the city with a few other people (male or female). I will be staying in accom provided by my department from Feb 4th - 21st and will be looking for a place during that time if you'd like to meet for a drink in person. I'm easygoing and a go-with-the-flow kind of girl who likes to socialise, but I also like my alone time and respect others need for privacy. I am clean and tidy (but not too obsessive about it) and love to cook! In my downtime I like to work out and explore new places. Ideally would like to live with someone who can be a respectful housemate, but also a friend - the kinda people down for Mexican Mondays, GoT sessions and a drink and a chat on the weekends :)
Hey Everyone! My name's Gurpreet, I've just moved to Canberra from Auckland, New Zealand to start up my career, which is located in Barton. A bit about me - I’m 23, easy to get along with, and will be a clean flatmate. I'm an avid basketball fan, a lover of food, and am keen to meet new people in and around Canberra. If I sound like a suitable candidate as a new flatmate, feel free to message me and we can grab a coffee. Thanks! 🙂 Gurpreet
I'm moving to Canberra in early February (can move in earlier or later) to work full time in finance in the APS. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy cooking/baking. I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.
I'm a Scientist from Brisbane, moved to Canberra last May undertaking a career change. Currently employed as a project manager in Defence Infrastructure. I enjoy cooking, photography, PC and tabletop gaming, astronomy, snorkelling and camping. I'm a geek, I'm extroverted, handy with tools and I'm a reliable seasoned sharehouser. I have a queen bed, bookcases and need some office work space for my PC and hobbies. I have my own car and motorbike. I need a place by end of January.
Happy, down to earth and open minded - ideally I'd like to find a place with pets. I'm 25 and have lived in share houses since I was 18 so am well accustomed to shared living and understand the importance of communication and being respectful of fellow housemates. I am currently working 4 days a week at the Clean Energy Regulator while studying part-time at the ANU. If you'd like to know anything else feel free to ask.
Hi all! I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne in February to take up a graduate role in Barton. I love going out for food/drinks, exploring the city, going to the gym, or having chilled nights in at home. I'm very organised and clean, love a bit of cooking at home sometimes and just relaxing on the couch. I'm super excited about moving to Canberra, so would love to live with someone who knows the area well and can show me some cool places!! I am looking for a place to share with 1-2 other people that is new and close to either the City or to Barton. I would prefer to have an ensuite bathroom or my own bathroom. I have no pets, and I don't smoke. Please let me know if I would suit your place!! Caitlin :)
Hi, My name's Sarah. I'm 27, work full-time as a health professional (normal hours 9-5). I'm tidy, respectful and friendly. Seeking same, with housemate/s around the same age. I have a car and I enough new-ish furniture to start a place (minus a washing machine + dining table). Feel free to give me a call for a chat, or catch up for a coffee.
I'm moving from Sydney to start postgrad study at ANU first semester this year - I'm flexible with my moving date. I'm a mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am looking to get involved in a new club/team once I move. I'm a music fan (the non-snobby kind), and love to attend big concerts as well as local gigs. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
I'm a 26-year-old lawyer from Melbourne, moving to Canberra to work at the courts. I'm house-trained (having lived in share houses for a while now), neat and clean, but not to the unliveable extent. I'm a pretty outgoing guy, work a lot, tend to keep myself pretty busy, but am also a social and friendly housemate. My role requires me to move to Brisbane in July, but if that's okay for you, I'm a fun and dependable housemate, respectful of space, and easy to live with.
Hi! I am moving down to Canberra to work in a law firm in late January and looking for housemates. I enjoy seeing art exhibitions and plays, reading, bush walking, and adventures. I am friendly, respectful and have lived in shared houses before.
Hi! I'm a 26 year old guy moving from Sydney to Canberra for a grad job in the APS. I recently quit my job as a video editor at a TV station and am looking at moving to Australia's roundabout before the end of January. In my spare time you'll find me cycling (I promise not to wear Lycra in the house), going to gigs/festivals, long walks on the beach (not possible here) and heading to the pub. I'm clean and respectful housemate that's conscious of people's space and privacy. I'm looking for a pretty social house with the occasional family dinner and movie night - a home rather than a house. I've lived out of home since uni and can contribute heaps of stuff (TV, lovesac, Xbox etc) if needed. If you're interested in teaming up to find a place or have a room that's available please get in touch! I'll be in Canberra for at least the next week. Scott
Hi, I'm Kai and moving down from Sydney as a grad in an economics related field. I love to check out cafes, listen to indie and jazz music, read, and play board games (I have a growing collection that is just asking to be played). I'm also learning German and French. I'm keen to hang out and socialise, but I'm equally happy relaxing at home. I have shared happily with flatmates for a couple of years now. I'm friendly and keep things in a clean state. Looking for a share place that's pretty central in Canberra. Please feel free to contact me!
I am moving from Brisbane in early Feb 2017 to start a new role, so I'm looking for shared accommodation with some friendly people in Canberra. I've been renting for a few years in Brisbane, so I'm very good at cleaning up after myself, and I'm comfortable living with either guys or girls. As a housemate I am tidy, friendly and considerate, and I am looking for housemates with similar qualities. In my free time I try to get outdoors and go for a walk/hike, and love spending time with friends. Also love getting stuck into a good Netflix series! I have a good sense of humour and I enjoy a good laugh, and don't mind the occasional wine. I'm looking for an unfurnished room, and as a bonus I also come with a couch and front-loader washing machine! (but can put those in storage if they're not needed). I can flexible with my move-in date starting from 4 Feb, but looking to be moving by 19 Feb at the latest. If you think I might be the right housemate for you, I'd love to hear from you
I'm moving from Melbourne to Canberra for an APS graduate position, looking to move into an existing shared house or to start a new one. I've been living in shared houses for five years, including a three year stint living with four other people, so I'm reasonably experienced with sharing. I enjoy socialising over a coffee or a few drinks, but of course like a bit of down time on my own - usually reading, watching netflix or playing video games. I'm looking for a relatively modern place that isn't too far from shops - whether it be Civic or Manuka/Kingston. I will need a room large enough for a queen bed and a small desk. I also have a car and a washing machine. I'm currently staying in temporary accommodation in Canberra if you'd like to meet for a coffee and a chat.
Too much information is probably never enough. I am 39 and professionally employed; meaning my bills are paid in full, on time and without prompting. I am generally a tidy person. I do not do well with clutter. In essence I am house broken. I am quiet and generally reserved; you won't see me streaking to the bathroom but I do like to sit around in a pair of shorts and a Tshirt on Saturday morning, when I am in town. I travel for work a fair bit and my personal interests are in Queensland. This means some weeks, you may not see me and sometimes I'll be in Canberra for a month. I will admit that I do smoke. At the same time I'll say that I do not smoke around non-smokers and I never smoke indoors. I do not drink to excess regularly but I still have a big night every once in a while. I am not into drugs and prefer to live with other who do not partake. For fun I exercise, play golf, social sport, swim, and socialise with friends... I am also up for trying new things in the kitchen. I do not intend to have a steady stream of girls through the house but overnight company is good for the soul, within reason. In short; I am employed, trustworthy, clean, social and I travel away from Canberra regularly.
Hey, I'm John - I'm a jaunty character, who hails from Adelaide. I've just started work as a systems engineer ready for Canberra Phase 2. I pluck the six-string and love beers in sunshine. I'm rather tidy and very organised. I'm social and love meeting new faces, and then subsequently getting to know their names.

Hi! I'm Shelley. I'm 25 and moving to Canberra in February to start an APS career. My move date is flexible, but the latest I'd like to move is the 24th of February. I'm clean, tidy and a non-smoker. I'm not a chef, but I can cook and I'm happy to share meals. I'm quiet and respectful, but I'd like to get along well with my flatmates and live in a sociable environment. I like to read, exercise, and I'll watch most things on TV. I'm also happy to get out and about and try new things in a new city. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi i'm Ben, mid twenties professional looking for a nice place in a good location to base myself. Friendly, clean, respectful and social housemate, enjoy my own space but also enjoy catching up for a drink/meal every once in a while. Looking to move to Canberra late Jan, but feel free to contact me anytime!
Am very easy going and easy to get along with. Enjoy a good glass of wine with dinner after work. I love watching sport of any kind that is on. Am very social but can respect people's space and privacy when needed.
I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney for a position in a government grad program, starting early February. I'm looking to live around Kingston, though flexible with surrounding suburbs. I'm super friendly, and like to bake so there will always be food around. I'm quite active, and I really love to dance. I want flatmates I can hang with and binge watch tv shows. If this sounds like you send me a message!
I am a peace loving meditative person who likes being close to nature and living a simple life. I would love to have an ensuite room with a view. I am open to sharing the common space with a mature person who maintains cleanliness and is peace loving and calm. Prefer to share with a vegetarian/eggetarian but it is not a compulsory requirement ; someone of the feminine gender is preferable if i am to share the washroom and bath. Located in either north or south canberra with good transport to ANU.
I'm clean and tidy and I want to come home to a nice quiet place where I can chill. During the week I gym or play sports most nights of the week. On the weekends I like to catch up with friends or get out of the house.
