Hi, I'm a friendly & laid-back person freshly employed by the Australian public service. I'm keen to explore all Canberra's got to offer, so depending on whether you like to come along on my little adventures, you may see me lots or not very often! I'm usually down for a chat, meal or tipple with you but I'm also happy to have alone time & give you yours.
Hey I'm Chris, another public servant looking for a new home. My current rental is getting sold, so I'm looking to move into or setup a share-house in the next month or so. I'm ideally looking for something relaxed, up for the occasional wine but also respectful of space. Prior to my current place I share-housed for a couple years. In my spare time I enjoy going for cycles, hikes, camping, the occasional canyon. Like many Canberrans I also go on fairly frequent road trips, and I'm looking forward to ski season. I own a decent amount of furniture so I could deck out a 2 bed, leaving only the bedroom for a potential house-mate to furnish. Although I'm also certainly open to selling some of my things.
Night shift nurse in emergency department at Canberra Hospital looking for a place inner south or north side. I'm pretty clean and tidy but not pendantic. I like to hang out with my housemates but enjoy alone time too. I train in Muay Thai most evenings and I love reading, Netflix, and playing guitar. I also sleep like a log so a bit of noise in the house while I'm on night shift doesn't bother me at all. Looking for some cool housemates, I love pets too so that is a big bonus for me. I also have a PS4 and a healthy competitiveness in COD to contribute xx
Hi flatmates, I am looking for a new place to call home. I am graduated from Sydney Uni and now full-time working in the civic. Easy going, clean and would love to explore fun in travelling and the beauty in daily life. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, kendo, cooking, bushwalking and other adventures. Looking forward to meet you! Thanks Claire
Hey flatmate hunters! I'm looking for a flatmate to team up with to find a place. I'm also open to taking a room in an established place. You would be moving in with me, and a 5 month old Border Collie puppy called Pepper. I've lived in Canberra for the past couple of years, working in international affairs. Before that, I was overseas in the UK and Netherlands for a couple of years working with a human rights NGO. Don't judge me, but I'm originally from Adelaide. Being a proud dad to a Border Collie pup keeps me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm pretty active and love being outdoors - playing sport, camping, hiking, snowboarding (not always well!). I love watching football (round and oval ball), and binging on netflix. I've just finished season 4 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so open to suggestions!! What I'm looking for... Ideally I'm looking to team up with one other person to find a 2 or 3 bed place in the inner north or south. As I've got a Border Collie puppy, so I'm looking for somewhere with a reasonable sized (and fully secure) courtyard/backyard, which allows pets and a housemate who likes dogs. I'm willing to pay up to $300pw. I’d like to live in a house that feels more like a home, with someone who's keen to hang out and socialise, but who wont get offended when I occasionally look to chill on my own! I’ve got most of the necessary furniture - though anyone in possession of a washing machine and/or fridgewill be highly regarded! ☺ Give me a shout if you're interested in teaming up to find a flat, or if you think I'd be suitable for your current place! Cheers, Trystan
We are New Zealanders new to Canberra and to Australia. Izzy started her Masters in Environmental Science at the ANU in February (been flatting in a single room in Narrabundah) and Dave is moving over at the beginning of June. Izzy studies full-time and Dave works in sales. We like road trips, camping, and hiking, but also watching movies, going out for dinner, Netflix, cooking. Dave really likes video games and Izzy likes caring about the environment. We've been living together for four years (until the last six months) and have been flatting for 5-6 years so we're house-trained, respectful, and tolerant. We're happy to be social or not, we're good at going with the flow :)
Hi! Looking for a new place to call home as my current place is being sold. I'm really easy-going and have lived in numerous share houses for around ten years, so I'm well trained and respectful of people's privacy. At the moment I'm working part-time at a peak body and also studying full-time finishing my Master of Anthropology and Development at ANU. I love bushwalking, traveling, swimming, podcasts, Netflix binging and eating/cooking delicious food. I'm relatively new to Canberra so enjoy getting out and exploring new places on the weekend. I'm not a big party person, especially during uni semester, but like living with other people and having a chat in the evenings.
friendly, lived out of home interstate with flatmates for 6 years, looking for respectable, similar age house mates :) I cook, i'm clean and tidy, not a huge party animal, always conscious of people's personal space and privacy. Looking to live with one other person preferable, and ideally a room with an ensuite.
Im 21 and have a gorgeous dog laila, who loves people and cuddles and other dogs after she gets over her anxiety of meeting new dogs. Currently living with my parents on a property and looking to move out and be closer to town and work. I work full time and sometimes gok to the gym at my work when im not feeling lazy.
Hi! I'm Ola. I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra in about a month and I'm looking for a share house with friendly and relaxed people. I've lived in many share houses over the years in Brisbane and I am a friendly, clean and reliable housemate. I love crafternoons, coffee in the sun and weekend markets. If you think I'd be a great addition to your share house, please message me!
I'm a Christian who is looking for another like minded person to share a flat. I've found it a challenge to move to a place where I don't have a sense of community, and am seeking to set up a flat-share with a community feel. I am clean, tidy, organised and like everything to have a place in the home. I'd love to share meals occasionally (or regularly if you're up for it). In terms of work, I'm a teacher and have been doing relief work for the interim, whilst I sort out a more permanent job. I am in the process of organising contracts etc for term two (starts in May). It's nice to have choice and know the schools, so taking my time has worked well. I have a range of interests, such as bushwalking, spending time outdoors, picnic-ing, playing board games, reading and drinking tea. I love tea, I come complete with tea, tea-cups and tea-pots. Yes, I drove them across the Nullabor in my pink bubble of a car. I enjoy cooking, and baking, and eating the results of such activities, particularly with a glass of wine in hand. I've recently moved to Canberra from Perth to be in the same city as my boyfriend, he works on a wind farm, which aren't really transportable. We don't want to live together before being married, but that being said, we have been spending quite a lot of time together.
Hi Folks - I'm Kiran Shetty moved to Canberra from Sydney and looking for a nice place to stay and call home. I enjoy meeting people and make new friends. Usually I'm busy on weekday's and weekends. I'm outgoing and usually keep busy with Gym, Yoga on weekday's and bush walk and anything exciting on weekends. I would like to spend time with flatmates on Cuppa or few drinks. I am a non-vegetarian, non-smoker, tidy, punctual and great at respecting house rules.
Hi there! I am about to move to Canberra from Melbourne (towards the end of May/start of June). I will be playing cricket for the ACT Meteors in the national women's competition. I am 24 years old, love my family, keeping fit (as you can tell with the whole cricket thing haha), and certainly love being social over a wine or 3! Very sociable, love going out for coffee or a drink but also love a night in! I will be trying to get up to Canberra in the next few weeks to hopefully look at some properties and suss out the city.
Hello Canberra, I'm from Germany and coming to Canberra to do an internship for 3 months, starting in July. I love traveling, meeting new people, sports, and I have a lot of experience of living in shared flats. I'm tidy, organized and don't smoke. And in my free time I would be up for a beer/wine/dinner with my flatmates ever so often. But I also respect privacy. The Yarralumla area would be the ideal location, but I heard there are not many regular flats available, so anything close to that area would be awesome too. Message me if you think I could fit into your flat or if you have questions :)) Cheers!
Postgraduate student doing environmental studies in ANU but also working part-time in Woden Westfield. Easygoing and super friendly. Open-minded and respectful person. Fascinate about trying new things and experiencing adventures of life. Love all kinds of outdoor activities but also a fan of movies and TV series. Laid back and a big foodie :) Current housemates accredited ideal housemate type. Searching for good homes to move in sooner or later before May 2018. I have a car so parking availability is essential.

I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hi! I'm Alex, moving up to Canberra from Adelaide to start a grad job in the APS. I've just finished a business degree at Adelaide uni. I'm easygoing, optimistic and enthusiastic. I'm just as happy meeting new people or spending time with housemates as I am curled up somewhere with a book. I love cooking (pancake Sundays, omelette breakfasts, stew nights anybody?), comedy, hiking, markets, brunch. I also enjoy good banter, puns, camping and relaxed weekend cycling. In my free time I like to read, explore new places and travel - though coming to terms with only four weeks off per year might be a challenge! I'd love to share with interesting, relaxed people who are up for a chat and a glass of wine/bowl of food occasionally. I've lived in sharehouses before and am happy to do my bit to keep a nice home. I've previously worked as a dishwasher and a prep cook - would love somewhere with a good kitchen. I'll be bringing/buying some new gear, too. I also don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex

I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am a non smoker. I have no pets but I am a pet lover. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs. Would like to find a roommate who is clean but not ocd clean. Looking for a room to rent or another flatmate to find something together.
I'm a quiet, respectful, considerate and reliable person. While living by myself at the moment, I have lived in share houses for 6+ years in the past. I don't necessarily expect to become BFF with my new housemates but I'd like to share a bit more than just the roof and walls of the house, like a game night or shared dinner or what not once in a while... I'm French but Canberran since 2008. I like rock climbing and Latin dancing, and do other things sporadically too. I like growing veggies and I have a laying chicken (while I could sell her back if needed, I'd much rather keep her if possible). I'm flexible with moving dates (anytime with ~1 month notice): I enjoy where I leave at the moment but my work has just moved and I'd like to stay at reasonable biking distance from it... my contact in reverse :) moc tod liamg ta unrebj
Hey! I'm a public servant looking to live closer to work. I am from Orange and have lived in Canberra for almost a year. I have five years experience of living in uni share accommodation. I'm easy going, clean and tidy. I love socialising and a good chat, but also respect people's space and privacy. I'm looking to team up and starting a share house or to find a room in an existing house preferably in mid May/early June. Feel free to contact me if you're interested.
Luke and I are two high school mates that are looking to move into a share house together. Luke is looking to get some perspective living out of home in a share house, while my current share house is disbanding as the lease has come to an end unfortunately. We both work full time as qualified tradesmen (Carpenter / Painter) giving us good experience respecting other peoples property and space. We both like to socialise over a drink after work, but also enjoy our own personal space. We have a great group of friends we enjoy doing activities with, but are always eager to make more!
I am an easy-going 24 year old public servant working full-time in Barton. I'm fairly busy during the week but enjoy hanging out on the weekend. Hoping to find other fun young professionals!
Hi, my name's Olivia. I'm 31 years old and I work full time as a lawyer in the APS. I am a friendly, tidy and considerate housemate. I work pretty hard and go to the gym most days. I also enjoy reading and am trying to write a book. I'm a considerate, tidy and friendly flatmate. I am fairly independent however it would be nice to share a house with someone who enjoys a good chat in the evenings and who I could share the occasional meal or drink with.
Hello, I am an intern at the Embassy of the Netherlands, so I will be working 5 days a week. I am clean and tidy and I have lived with roommates before, so therefore know how to respect privacy :) I'm the most fun person you'd ever live with. I'm very social, I tell great stories, my specialty is cooking anything with cheese, but I also like to be by myself.
I am an ex professional athlete now living in canberra working with the canadian high commission. I recently moved to canberra from Melbourne but have lived most my adult live in the USA.My name is John, I am 39 years old single, non smoker and have no pets. I work with the Canadian High Commission and am basically ready to move in right away. It might also be worth nothing that I can provide current security checks from 2 governments and a recent police check for any safety concerns. I spend little time in my current apartment as work keeps me fairly busy. When not there I am often at the gym or out in town. I have TVs, washing machine, dryer and many other items that if needed I could bring to the apartment. I am a qualified sommelier having studied in Stuttgart Germany and back in Melbourne.
I’m Jorja. 28, and surprise, surprise, a public servant here in Canberra. I’m pretty active, enjoy playing netball, and looking forward to snowboarding soon for winter. Big fan of wine too, and just hanging out watching TV or playing board games. Also, I’ve got a friendly (and gorgeous) 7 year old cat who has lived in with people in my share houses before, and is good with dogs.
I am a Masters student looking for a new place to call home! I am easy going and neat and tidy. I love to cook (and share my food with other people) as well as a good laugh or chat. I am also pretty active (gym, long walks exploring Canberra). While I enjoy socialising I also respecting that people need their own space. P.S. a pet friendly place would be great but isn't essential
I am moving to Canberra to join the APS in the beginning of February. I am looking for a room with an ensuite bathroom. I am flexible about the location, though I will be working in Forrest. I don't smoke or drink. I don't have pets and have no intention of getting them ever. I like my privacy and understand the need for others to have theirs. But I am not opposed to 'netflix and chill' once in a while. I love baking and I am a sucker for anything with chocolate but I am trying to eat healthy now. I've been told I am funny, mostly because I get into embarrassing situations which then turn into hilarious stories. I am reliable, organised and clean.
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Can move in anytime.
Keep to ourselves, respectful, easy to get a long with, very chilled, love to have a laugh, watching Netflix or movies on weekend's, up for a chat but also respect other people's privacy, clean and tidy. We both work full time I work in early childhood and Anthony is a butcher
I have lived in Canberra for 8 years now, originally from Harden. I work full time as a mechanic. I am a quiet relaxed person, who is happy to socialise and have personal time too. I am a clean person and I respect other people's property and boundaries. I spend every other weekend away with family, and I play cricket (both indoor and outdoor) two nights a week. I like to keep active outside, such as push bike riding. I like to game (either alone in my room or happy to play with housemates). I also enjoy Marvel and DC movies, and I'm more than happy to enjoy a movie night with friends and housemates. I have a 3 year old American Staffy named Dooey, who is the loveliest dog ever. Dooey is desexed and toilet trained. He is primarily an outdoor dog. He gets along really well with other dogs and has grown up with cats. He is a kind hearted dog and super friendly towards all people.
I am 35, I'm currently living in Perth and just got an exciting job at ANU. I'm looking for a room to stay for a few weeks while I get set up. I don't smoke, work 9-5 and will probably keep mostly to myself/not make noise etc. I'm looking forward to getting to know Canberra, the national parks, art galleries etc. so if you have any favourite spots let me know!
I’m originally from Japan, but I’ve been in Aus for the last 4.5 years. I moved in Canberra 3 months ago due to a new job in Barton. I work full time as an early childhood lead educator. I am looking to make new friends by living with new people, but I respect our own space as well. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri as I talk with babies all day 5 days haha
Hi potential housemate(s), I am seeking a peaceful abode to call my home. I am a born-and-bred Canberran, but have been travelling a lot the last 4 years. However, Canberra has called me back and I currently find myself contracting to the DHS as a UX/UI Designer (points if you know what is). Outside of work I am interested in living a healthy + uplifting lifestyle. I'm into such things as...nature, camping, hiking, reading, writing, yoga, planning my next trip away, climbing, adventuring...you know, all the fun stuff. I'm easy going, easy to get along with (I believe), like to contribute to healthy home environment, will raise my issues if I have one (rare) rather than be passive aggressive (can't stand toxicity). It's important to me to feel comfortable where I live so I'd love to catch up and see if we are a good fit. It's all about the synergies! Looking forward to finding my new home :)
Friendly, laid back, clean and tidy Irish female professional. Relocating to Canberra for an 8 week contract role so looking for a short term furnished bedroom preferably Kingston/ south canberra area and close to public transport. Will probably be spending a lot of weekends back in Sydney so won’t be there all the time.
Hi guys, I’m katie :) I'm 20 and from Korea I like reading books, listening music, exercising and cooking. I work at a hotel and I usually exercise and study English during my free time. I can keep the house clean and I like chat but I know it is important to have private time. I will spend at least 6 months in Canberra and get a house to stay in the meantime. Thank u :)
I'm a responsible, easy going Engineer and really I'm just hoping my future housemates don't leave all of the housework to me. I'm single, come with the most adorable little rag-doll cat you'll ever see and I mostly spend my spare time relaxing with Netflix, movies and games. I'm happy to cook & socialise as well, although I generally keep to myself.
