I'm an easy going guy who is tidy, easy to get along with and always up for a good chat, but also enjoy quiet time to focus on study/reading etc. I'm originally from Mount Gambier in country SA, and first came to Canberra in 2016 to attend the ANU. I've been in Japan for the past year and a half on exchange and am currently doing an internship in Hiroshima. In my downtime, I like to cook, travel, game and chill with my mates. I'm looking for either an established sharehouse, or some people who are looking to set one up in the Canberra area from the end of June/early July.
I am a 37 yo male, working part-time, studying full time. My partner is a 30 yo legal researcher working at the High Court. We are clean, tidy and respectful, don't party and lead a fairly quiet lifestyle as we are saving for our own house in 2020.
I'm a project manager in the construction industry soon to be moving over from Sydney. My work hours can be long during the week, usually starting work pretty early. On the weekends, if nothing interesting is happening I like to be out exploring somewhere and will be planning to go day trips to surrounding parks on nice days. As a flatmate, I clean up after myself and is respectful of other people's space but I'm also very easy going and sociable. Hoping to move in with friendly and chill flatmates.
Hi! I'm Naomi, a recent uni graduate looking find a sunny, warm "home-y" place in Canberra, looking for part-time work, possibly with volunteering in the meantime. I'm hoping to live with around 2 flatmates of any age, although this is flexible- I enjoy talking and being around other people, but also need moments of quiet in my own space. I'm a bit of an old soul, a "twenty-something grandma" who loves dressmaking, movies, basic photography, sewing, craft, reading and am a decent cook. I love to share food that I've made- expect regular brownies, muesli bars and homemade bread. I'm vegetarian, but am happy to adapt recipes to be GF, vegan, DF, and respect your choices (food and otherwise). I don't smoke, take illicit drugs or drink, but am fine with others having the occasional glass of alcoholic something. I am not a fan at all of loud parties and/or lots of people though. I am quite mature for my age, always polite and always happy to listen if someone needs to talk or vent a little, or leave you some space. Housemates should work together like a family. If adult life is being a bit more difficult due to mental illness, recently arrived in Australia, chronic illness, disability, dire finances, being LGBTIQA+ or anything else, I will do my best to be accommodating and supportive, as I hope my flatmates would do for me. If you're having an absolutely awful day or three, I won't haggle you to do the dishes, but I expect that there will be some regular bathroom/kitchen/communal spaces cleaning arrangement where everyone does a little bit, so we can all enjoy a clean and tidy space. I am definitely on the neat side, but not inflexible. And if you have pets, that's great since I like animals, especially dogs. If I'm at home while you're out or at work, I'm happy to keep an eye on them and give them love. Please note that my desired rent per week as on my profile, is fairly flexible. Being close to the shops and public transport to get around (Action buses, the tram) is a must for me, as well as decent heating or thermal stability to get through the winter. I would prefer a place on the ground floor, or with minimal steps. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi I’m looking to find a place once the lease is up at the place I’m staying at, I work part time at Bunnings but will be getting full time soon, I will study soon to (not studying at the moment). I’m an ex smoker but vape now, I’m close with friends and family, I have a girlfriend, I gym 4-5 days a week, love food and having an occasional drink and chatting or playing games.
I’m easy to live with. Great for a laugh and considerate of other people’s needs and feelings. I work 6 days a week and interstate nearly every weekend, self employed for 6 years organising events and juggling calendars. I won’t touch, use or eat your stuff and I would like the same in return, I’m proactive with the house needs like cleaning, gardening I enjoy and also supplies such as toilet paper and dishwashing liquid etc. I don’t watch much tv, I won’t get in your way, I also professionally house sit so I’m not always around but keen to have that stable base to keep my belongings at, I’d be wanting someone willing to take the weekly rent but fair with not charging me for utilities if I hadn’t been there for a few weeks. I’m an animal lover but currently have no pets Great with kids but none of my own just yet Wanting someone easy to get along with, good sense of humour, respectful of space and privacy, and clean and considerate too. :)
Quiet and shy, but very friendly. Great cook, cleaner and Gardner. I am after a stay if 6months while I finish a traineeship in Fyshwick. I'm looking to make friends with similar interests.(hiking, biking, campung, gyming, museums and galleries, coffee, food, books, animals etc)

Hi, I'm Mark. I have recently moved to Canberra from NZ. I was born and raised in Sydney and also lived in Melbourne, so it's a bit of a move home. I work full time in sports (football) which keeps me busy during the week and on weekends. I'm pretty easy-going friendly type and consider myself pretty low maintenance. I try to keep active as much as possible although not as often as I'd like. I'm quite well domesticated and willing to do my bit when necessary. I have a family who will be staying in NZ and I will be travelling back periodically, usually during school holidays. I'll be working in the Deakin area, so places nearby would be ideal, but more important is finding the right place and people. I currently live in Kaleen so I'm flexible and open to offers. As I'm not bringing any furniture, furnished is preferred but again I'm flexible and will manage accordingly. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
I'm a healthcare worker who has recently moved to Canberra for work. I enjoy cooking, watching Netflix and a general hang. I would like to meet some housemates that wouldn't mind sharing the occasional meal and a sneaky beverage, but also respect each others space.
Hey! Moving back to Canberra after taking a year off uni. Will be working part time and studying part time. Love animals and would be very pleased to share with some!
