Gardening experience is not neccessary, we are more looking for someone with an interest in building skills in self sustainability, who enjoys the outdoors, and like fresh veggies. The house would suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and wouldnt mind the fact that we don't have a lounge room - the dining room and outside are for chilling. While the house is well insulated, there's no air-con or heating. The available rooms are a medium size and unfurnished. One has a built in robe and one comes with some cupboards, the prices are $150 and $140 per week. Bond is four weeks rent. Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. this is non negotiable too. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors (highly preferable, but could be overlooked if everything else was perfect) - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live with infants, young children, or a family/home stay style arrangement. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin, Dunlop, Harrison, or Crace - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Hi! My name is Manpreet and I'm a 23 year old that works full time in public service. I am a friendly and easy going person, and have lived in share houses before in both Melbourne and Canberra, so I make sure to clean up after myself and respect others' privacy. I am also studying part time, and therefore prefer a quiet place. That being said, I do enjoy chatting with housemates and being friends. In my spare time I love going to the gym, hiking, reading and watching some quality Netflix. Message me if you're interested and I am also keen on teaming up :) I am available to move in at the end of February.

Parents have had enough of me so looking for somewhere close to Uni of Canberra while I study. Organised, clean and pretty happy keeping to myself, although happy to be social. Keen cyclist, full time student and part time work leaves me pretty busy so probably not spending a great deal of time around other than for food and study
I am a university student in my final year of study at the ANU. I work part time in Belconnen so I am pretty busy throughout the week and on weekends I am usually stuck in the books with assignments and study. However, I try to still be a social person by getting outside and exercising or catching up with a few mates. I am a very tidy person and I am respectful of other peoples space and would expect that in return. I am looking to find some easy going people that don't mind having a beer in a place that is close to either work or uni. If you would like to know anything more about me just flick me a message. Cheers
I am clean and tidy. I always pull my weight with house work and pay my bills on time. I enjoy cooking, baking, craft projects, board games and curling up with a book and a cup of tea. I am often up for a chat but also like my privacy.
International couple looking for a place to live for less than a year. Stephen is Canberra native and have two part time jobs and Liz is from Sweden on her second year work and holiday visa. We are a relaxed couple who like to keep to ourself but also are happy to socialise. Love to cook, watch movies and tv shows and hang with our dog, a Samoyed called Tali.
I'm looking for a place and people that will be fun and cool to hang out with but also respect my privacy and space. I'm a pretty clean person so don't like when the washing up is left for 5 days at a time but also won't yell at you if you leave your clothes laying around. I'm young and looking for people I can do things with, I don't mind having a drink after work sometimes so if you love a wine you'll love me!
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups

I am not a big party goer but won't say no to a glass of wine and a chat.

Looking for a home for myself and my Kelpie Beau, we are moving back to Canberra after living in QLD. I have a job transfer with work full time Monday-Friday as a Case Worker. I adopted my dog Beau from the Animal Welfare League, he is 6 years old and is my running buddy. He would prefer a backyard to chill in during the day (doesn't need to be a big space) and prefers to sleep with me inside at night if possible. Happy to negotiate options, for example in my current home Beau sin't allowed in the living room which has new carpet and he understands this rule. We both have references too. Beau is a super friendly dog and loves cuddles with everyone. He is very well behaved, he is not destructive and loves the company of other furry friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors running, hiking and camping. I am social and love a chat, I am neat and tidy and happy to contribute to cleaning the house regularly. Please get in touch if you think your place might suit! :) Cheers Gemma.

Hi! I'm Vin, I graduated from ANU last year and now work part time as a plant science technician at ANU, and as a swim teacher in the afternoons. When I'm not growing mutant plants or teaching kids how to swim, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very organised person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
